Feds to Open $50 Million Resort for Illegal Children

Kristinn Taylor, Gateway Pundit, July 16, 2014

The Obama administration has awarded a $50 million contract to a charitable group to buy a Texas resort hotel and transform it in to a 600 bed facility for juvenile illegal aliens.

The beautiful Palm Aire resort and hotel has an indoor Olympic sized pool and an outdoor pool.  Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are included in the simply decorated guest rooms.

The Palm Aire Hotel and Suites is set to be sold to Baptist Child & Family Services (BCFS) operating under a federal contract, pending local government approval, according to reports from Weslaco, Texas where the hotel is located. {snip}

The plan is to have the hotel ready for illegal alien children ages 12 to 17 by October 1st of this year, a mere two-and-half months from now. It is expected the average stay will be about fifteen days.

The Palm Aire Hotel and Suites currently advertises amenities such as two outdoor swimming pools—one Olympic sized—Jacuzzis, sauna, steam room, two racquetball courts, outdoor tennis courts, picnic area with grills and a fitness center with twenty machines and free weights.

BCFS plans to employ 650 people at the Palm Aire Hotel and Suites, which would mean slightly over one worker per illegal alien child. According to the BCSF Website, the charity’s jobs pay from $10 to $45 per hour.

KRGV-TV quoted a BCFS spokeswoman about the purpose of buying the Palm Aire Hotel and Suites:

‘It’s going to be an intake facility, which serves as a lot like a hospital emergency room,’ Krista Piferrer, BCFS VP External Affairs said.

Piferrer told the Valley Morning Star the Palm Aire Hotel and Suites facility would ‘(provide) medical and mental health care, on-site educational programs, recreational programs and case management.’

According to a Hidalgo County commissioner, the BCFS contract for the Palm Aire Hotel and Suites is an annual one worth $50 million per year. It is not part of the $3.7 billion emergency funding for the illegal alien invasion requested by the Obama administration as the bill hasn’t yet passed but it is a good indication of where the money will go.

    Will they be selling timeshares?!?

[Sorry, but how can you rationally comment, day after day, about things which keep getting more and more and more Orwellian?]

    • Paleoconn

You know our society has gone to hell when it can no longer be parodied.

      • Parodies are normally funny. This just makes me sick; my wife and I can’t afford to vacation in places like that.

  • Alexandra1973

Maybe we should start trekking to Mexico en masse and demanding the same.

Yeah, you’ll get laughed at and thrown in jail down there. We’re talking about a country that flies their helicopters into our country and fires on our Border Patrol Agents. With absolutely NO RESPONSE from the traitors in our government! All while they alleviate their poverty problem by dumping them on us, again with NO RESPONSE! Unless you consider actively assisting the invasion like the government of our former United States of America does today a response? TREASON! TREASON! TREASON! IT IS BLATANT IN YOUR FACE, TREASON!!!!

      • Bon, From the Land of Babble

I expect it would be worse than that!

You’d be met with automatic weapons — provided to the Mexicans by Eric “The Red” Holder.

        • Einsatzgrenadier

The Mexicans would never tolerate this, nor would any other third world people. The only way the Mexicans would ever allow a large influx of invading whites into their country is if the Mexican elites truly hated their citizens and wanted to get rid of them. Then they would promote whites in the Mexican government and give them plum jobs, even if they had no experience or were otherwise underqualified for said jobs. Entire mestizo barrios and indio villages would be flooded with white people.

For a process that is supposedly happening worldwide, neoliberal globalization sure is confined to only the developed nations of western Europe and N. America. Turning western labour and housing markets into global job fairs and global housing markets is all about white genocide.

          • JDInSanD

Mexican elites do truly hate their own people and are not only trying to get rid of them, they are succeeding by sending them here.

          • Einsatzgrenadier

Yes, but the white and near-white Mexican elites don’t hate their mestizo and indio peasants nearly as much as white (and Jewish) elites hate their own citizens. The Mexican elites export their problem population to the US. However, they aren’t replacing mestizo and indio peasants in Mexico with white people. They aren’t committing genocide against their own people. This is only happening in white countries.

          • Greg Thomas

Of course they do not hate their mestizo and indo peasants, at least not openly. Those invading mestizos are a cash cow for mexico, sending billions of dollars in the way of remittances each year.

    • Sick of it

It’d be easier to overthrow their government than to overthrow ours. Sounds like a plan.

  • Truthseeker

So what they’re essentially saying is…breaking the law should be like a vacation on the victim’s dime.

    • TruthBeTold

What until they call their relatives and tell them they won the illegal immigrant lottery.

  • Late breaking news: This has been canceled.

Good thing, too, because their sauna would have been a TB factory.

    • propagandaoftruth

Darn. I was so looking forward to a PR nightmare for our enemies.

    • journey

Cancelled! But not dead, right? (way too much money to just walk away).

      • Alexandra1973

Probably seeing what the reaction would be. Finger in the wind and all that.

        • Greg Thomas

I would bet Alexandra It has only been “cancelled” until they can find a new site. No way does a “charitable” organization walk away from 50 million of our taxpayer dollars that easily. They are going to build the illegal invaders a Taj Mahal, reactions be damned.

    • JackKrak

Yeah, someone in DC must have discovered that the pool there wasn’t regulation Olympic size….

  • JohnEngelman

This resort should be built in Mexico. Let them handle the problem.

  • GeneticsareDestiny

“It is expected the average stay will be about fifteen days.”

Doubtful. Also, where will they be going after that? To random places in the U.S. to await their immigration hearing (which most never show up for)?

I wish they’d just be deported already. I get so tired of reading all these stories about us coddling illegals on a daily basis.

    • Gray Shambler

      Undocumented Americans….. excuse you.

      • Bossman

        No! Future Americans.

Baptists? Is the federal govmnt forcing a religion down the throats of our cherished arrivals who may be muslim, or even catholic, We need separate facilities or freedom of religion is a farce.

    • HE2

The Baptist Church is a “player,” as the expression goes. They get over $800 per head for every resettled [cough cough] “refugee” cough cough.
Numbers usa dot com. Check it out.

      • Alexandra1973

Not Independent Baptist I hope. There’s more than one kind.

        • HE2

The Baptist Child and Family Services (BCFS) is up to its neck in the scam.

  • Gray Shambler

Or why can’t they be put on reservations, unless Obama thinks south American natives are more equal than north American natives.

  • Billy Clinter

It will be a hell hole within a month of being filled with illegals and gang bangers.

The residents would be better off burning it down before letting it house a bunch of illegals.

  • Petronius

    Mirrors on the ceiling?

    The pink champagne on ice?

Is America a great country or what?!

  • Just when you think this entire illegal immigration debacle couldn’t get any stranger, along comes a story like this! This country has gone absolutely insane!

    Truth is stranger than fiction.

    • Petronius

If one believes –– and I do –– that the American end has to be epidemic insanity, this certainly measures up.

  • Luca

Knowing hispanic family values, that pool will soon be used as an open-air laundry, bathtub and sewer, breeding all kids of third-world bacteria. The walls of the buildings will be covered in graffiti, windows will be broken and gang members will sell drugs and prostitutes in the hallways.

Yet more proof that the government is spending our money in a wise and prudent fashion.

  • dd121

I think the libs backed down on this one. I don’t know why though. They hardly pass up any chance to poke a stick in our eye.

What do you mean they backed down? Backed down on what?

      • Bon, From the Land of Babble

        The “charitable group” withdrew.

        • Greg Thomas

More like on hold, until they can find another site to build their resort for illegal invaders. You better than I know how this works Bon. This “charitable” organization is not going to let 50 million slip through their hands without a fight.

          • Bon, From the Land of Babble

I’m guessing, and I’ll bet I’m right, that the illegal alien children are being settled as “refugees” — which is a LUCRATIVE business for the “faith-based” resettlement industry.

They are paid and paid well to dump massive numbers of non-Whites into White communities – they are government contractors and it IS all about money – but the media call them “volunteers”

Just last week Baptist Children and Family Services was awarded $190,707,505.

From the indispensible site, refugeeresettlementwatch about those “kind-hearted volunteers:”

Refugee resettlement is profitable to the organizations involved in it. They receive money from the federal government for each refugee they bring over. They have almost no real responsibilities for these refugees. After 4 months the ‘sponsoring’ organization is not even required to know where the refugee lives.

There are 9 main major refugee resettlement organizations (Volags from “Voluntary Agency”) with approximately 450 affiliated organizations throughout the country; many are run by former refugees. Below are the 9 Volags that operate today:

US Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB),
            Lutheran Immigrant Aid Society (LIRS),
            International Rescue Committee (IRC),
            World Relief Corporation,
Immigrant and Refugee Services of America (IRSA),
            Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS),
            Church World Service (CWS),
Domestic and Foreign Missionary Service of the Episcopal Church of the USA,
            Ethiopian Community Development Center (ECDC),

Below are some of the sources of income for Volags:

            a. $1,850 per refugee (including children) from the State Department.

            b. Up to $2,200 for each refugee by participating in a U.S. DHHS program known as Matching Grant. To get the $2,200, the Volag need only show it spent $200 and gave away $800 worth of donated clothes, furniture or cars.

            c. The Volag pockets 25% of every transportation loan it collects from refugees it “sponsors”.

            d. All Volag expenses and overhead in the Washington, DC HQ are paid by the U.S. government.

            e. For their refugee programs, Volags collect money from all federal grant programs – “Marriage Initiative”, “Faith-based”, “Ownership Society”, etc., as well as from various state and local grants.

The program is so lucrative that in some towns the Catholic Church has lessened support for traditional charity works to put more effort into resettlement. It uses collection offerings to promote the refugee resettlement program.

          • I hope they put them all on Martha’s Vinyard.

      • dd121

        They changed their mind.

  • Dave West

This is insane! This is a new low even for the Kenyan.

  • Greg Thomas

We are being invaded and our government (which means you and I) are building them hotels. History will not be kind to these traitors.

    • Lion’s Mane

I consider this government to be our PUTATIVE government. They certainly do not represent me or my values. For example, I was opposed to the Iraq War — but had absolutely no say in the matter.

      • Bon, From the Land of Babble

I cannot, at the moment, come up with anything that this government advocates that represents me, my family or the White race.

In fact, everything it does is in direct opposition to White interests – anti-White AA policies, forced integration of White neighborhoods, claiming Whites are “domestic terrorists,” supporting hate laws that exclude Whites, endless, treasury-busting wars in the ME that are of NO interest to White Americans, massive increase in the welfare state, unfettered non-White immigration, legal and illegal and much much more.

If you can think of a single thing this government does to support White interests, post it.

        • Well, via Affirmative Action hiring, forced school busing and Section-8 housing, the government has inadvertently educated many previously deluded Americans as to what blacks and browns are really like. Does that count?

      • Greg Thomas

To clarify, of course they do not represent our “values,” but they do take your money and use it to build resorts for illegal invaders. Thus, you and are are indirectly paying for this.

        • Lion’s Mane

I hope there’s a case for militant Atheists here. Since this is a Baptist, and hence religious, organization, what right has the government to fund this? Separation of Church and State! (However, I’m guessing that all the militancy will drain out of the Atheists’ nature when the consider the “greater good” of destroying White America. Modern Atheists are strenuously opposed to “white racism.”)

          • Greg Thomas

Remember, Separation of Church and State is a misleading notion if you are supporting the regime and their agenda. The Church is free to advocate for open borders, as well as aid and abet this invasion
because it mimics the government’s objectives. In turn, their political activism is rewarded with millions of taxpayer dollars to build such things as resorts for illegal invaders.

    • SentryattheGate

Cicero (Roman statesman 106-43 BC) on the traitor:

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it
cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less
formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the
traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers
rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government
itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents
familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he
appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He
rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to
undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that
it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”

      • journey

Cicero for being so loyal to his country was murdered and hands were posted for all to see.

  • Who Me?

Welcome to America, you miserable little fk’ers. Here’s a nice, 5-star resort for you. Don’t let anybody tell you that you aren’t wanted here. Obviously the people who pull the strings value you greatly. You get an extended stay in a lovely vacation spot that normal American citizens would pay over $500/night.

How soon before it is covered in MS-13 gang graffiti and completely trashed?

How soon before it looks LIKE THIS???

      About one year.

God knows it isn’t suitable for human consumption.

          • r j p

            Nice. Thank you.

          • The best toilet bowl cleaner I have ever used is “Pool Shock”. It is for disinfecting swimming pools, and is a super-concentrated (50%) dry form of calcium hypochlorite: basically bleach. A dash of that in a toilet bowl and a 24-48 hour wait, and you don’t need to do any scrubbing. You can get it at Wal Mart.

          • r j p

How much do you use? How big are the containers?

          • I once used it to make explosives, This comes in plastic bags at Wal Mart. A tablespoon in a dirty toilet will kill destroy all “life” there. Never, ever put this in the toilet tank, as it will destroy the rubber and plastic parts It is devastating. I have used phosphorus oxychloride and tungsten hexachloride to clean toilets, but Pool Shock is better.

  • journey

It’s a joke, right? This country has really gone over the deep end.

  • B.E.L.

Don’t you dare come here you poor 3rd world illegals! If you do, we will hit you with spa treatments, pools, jacuzzi’s, racquetball courts, gorgeous rooms with balconies, etc.! All for free!

    Take THAT!

  • Adolf Verloc

It’s really a shame that this deal didn’t go through. I could envision some wonderful videos contrasting this resort for third world invaders with conditions in VA hospitals, nursing homes and senior housing.

  • Jim

Apparently all those robo-calls that say, “Congratulations! You’ve just won a free vacation!” aren’t as phony as I thought.

  • Recall a story by Stephen King–good writer, but a fashionably anti-White Baby Boomer if there ever was one–in which the forces of Evil melted away once people began to laugh uncontrollably at its threats.

    • “The Stand”.

      • That was a very long and entertaining book, but I’m sure you noticed, as the story line progressed, the remaining good people in the nation started gathering around an angelic old negro woman, while the evil people streamed to their new leader in Las Vegas, a blond blue-eyed White guy. Natch.

        • The evil guy in that novel had either fallen or was artificial, and as such, that was what made his “wife” jump.

    • guest

I used to like The Onion, thinking they made fun of everybody/all sacred cows. But they don’t. They never make fun of blacks or mestizos/beaners. They never make fun of queer people or anti gun types.

Remember the reaction to Chris Rock’s comedy rant about Negroes (I don’t mind quoting it but don’t want to get moderated out by software)? It was widely embraced, laughed at, circulated and applauded including by hard working blacks who feel the same way. A few years later TPTB approached Rock and asked him to quit doing the routine on the grounds that it was too popular and people found it funny.

So Big Entertainment has an agenda and censors comedy and structures it to make people laugh at the people THEY want to ridicule. You can find thousands of stand ups making fun of white people. But very very few who point and laugh at race baiters and melanin terrorists.

Given Cat-licks have been given crap, legitimately, for the anti-white statements of the Pope, may I please for the record heap some abuse on the bleepin’ Baptists? If you want to sacrifice of yourselves to help these people, do it in their countries, not here. Don’t sacrifice the rest of us and our great country because you want to fulfill what you think is your Christian duty. For now, grab your earlobes and pull down real hard until you hear a popping sound, which is the sound of your head coming out of your a**.

    • HE2

The Southern Baptist Conference, as I said before, is a player in this scam, just as the rest of them. Methodists, Lutherans, Presbyterians, others. Catholics seem to be receiving the most flak, but they are by no means alone.

Look, …. some of these people have never known anything nice. And here you people are complaining… Wouldn’t you appreciate it if you were new to a country and didn’t have any friends or someone to love you?

Okay, they changed their minds and cancelled this particular piece of insanity–at least publicly. Who knows what they are going to do privately, and charge us for without notice or recourse. Then they will say, “It’s a done deal, you should have said something before it happened.” We all know they have done that time and again, preying upon the unsuspecting American public. We need to keep a close watch on these traitors.
It’s a good thing I read that they did cancel it, AmRen already removed one post from the tips of my outraged fingers!
