Islamist Plot to Blow Up Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Nuclear Power Plant Foiled, Say French Police

Henry Samuel, Telegraph (London), July 9, 2014

France foiled an Islamist terrorist plot to target the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and even a nuclear power plant, it emerged on Wednesday, as the country unveiled new, tougher anti-terror rules.

French police stumbled on the plans after decrypting coded messages between a 29-year-old Algerian butcher living in the Vaucluse, southern France, known only as Ali M, and one of the highest-ranking members in al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, or AQIM.

According to Le Parisien newspaper, in April last year, the married father of two who went by the pseudonym Abu Jaji was asked by his AQIM contact, whose web alias was Redouane18, to make “suggestions concerning how to conduct jihad in the place you are currently”.

Ali M suggested targeting nuclear power plants, “planes at the moment of take-off”, and a string of French landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre museum in Paris.

Failing that, he suggested launching terror attacks on “the modest and poor French population” in markets or nightclubs, as well as police patrols.

In an apparent reference to the famed Avignon theatre festival, he also singled out “cultural events that take place in the south of France in which thousands of Christians gather for a month”.

“The main walkways become black with people and a simple grenade can injure dozens of people, not to mention a booby trapped device,” he said.

His contact then asked him to travel with a fellow would-be terrorist to Algeria to “benefit from a military training and training in combat techniques”.

After that, he would return to France, stake out targets and “await your instructions”.

“I am fully ready and prepared,” he replied.

Although the plans were still at the discussion stage, French police arrested the Algerian in June last year, a month before he was due to fly to Tunisia and then onto Algeria for training.

The man’s lawyer said he had been brainwashed. “The arrest was a relief for him,” Daphné Pugliesi told Le Parisien.

The revelations came as Bernard Cazeneuve, France’s interior minister, unveiled tougher anti-terror rules, including proposals to ban a suspect from leaving the country if it is thought he intends to fight Jihad abroad, such as in Iraq or Syria.

Last month French police arrested Mehdi Nemmouche, a French jihadist who fought in Syria, and allegedly killed four people at the Brussels Jewish Museum in May after travelling back to Europe.

The new legislation, to be presented to parliament “in the coming days”, will also make it easier to target “lone wolves” and create new powers to force internet providers to block Islamist hate propaganda.

It will also allow investigators to use pseudonyms to go undercover in pro-jihadist sites.

Marc Trevidic, one of France’s highest-profile anti-terror judges, said the case of Ali M was far from being isolated. “There are doubtless others on our soil programmed to harm French interests,” he told Le Parisien.

Some 800 French nationals or residents are thought to have left to fight in Syria since the start of the civil war.

  • This fight against terrorism will take a terrible toll on civil liberties in France, just as it has in the U.S. The only way to stay safe and free at the same time is to rid France of these dangerous foreigners.

Too bad he didn’t succeed. An event like that would surely wake these stupid modern white people up.

    • Truthseeker

Sadly, the same thought crossed my mind. I would hate to see some of the greatest achievements of the White race destroyed by Islam, but it’s gotten to the point where nothing seems to shake them out of their stupor. I truly hope it won’t have to come to that.

    • IstvanIN

I too, had a similar thought. What if they managed to blow up the Eiffel Tower or the Coliseum? What if the managed to kill a president, monarch or prime minister? Would anything rouse these people?

      • LovelyNordicHeidi

I doubt it. They would go like: “No, do not blame the Muslims! We’re all responsible for this human catastrophe!”

        • Dave West

“No, do not blame the Muslims! We’re all responsible for this human catastrophe!”

Maybe ……. They would probably just find some way to blame it on white people. Just like they blame Muslim riots on European racism and lack or public services for immigrants.

        • David Ashton

Of course, “we” are all guilty even when WE aren’t.

        • dwpittelli

No, don’t blame the Muslims! It’s all because of their understandable rage at Israel and the Joooos!

      • propagandaoftruth

Yes it would. Europe trends sane (“far right”) more every day. Sooner some alien monster destroys a cherished monument or causes real, tangible, destruction, sooner they get sent home and Europe survives somewhat intact.

      • Lagerstrom

Probably not. The same old line of, “it’s only a few bad apples, most Muslims are peaceful” would be trotted out by the authorities, followed by some limp-wristed attempts to be even nicer to them.

    • Luca

Sadly, it would only wake up maybe 50% of the people. Remember 9/11? On 9/12 George Bush should have started sealing the border, tightening visa applications, busting up sanctuary cities, cracking down on employers and thoroughly purging the country of illegal aliens, overstayed visas, etc.

All those hijackers were on phony extended visas and had phony drivers licenses.

History will have to repeat itself for the mindless minions to get yet another wake-up call.

Hey if disturbing facts obviate hope, those facts must be ignored!

he suggested launching terror attacks on “the modest and poor French population” Yes, of course. You see, the flamboyant and rich French elite are the allies of the immigrants and Islamists.

  • Zaporizhian Sich

Of course these Islamic jihadists what to kill ordinary whites, if they dared to kill the real ruling elite in France they would be slain immediately. Hint, they are anything but native born Frenchmen and women.

    • Anna Tree

Hi Zaporizhian, I think that’s not true, muslims kill also Jews in France, there was a muslim who shot jewish children in the head short range, after murdering French soldiers.

      • Zaporizhian Sich

They killed far more whites than Jews, and never forget both have collaborated to kill, enslave and exploit whites many times since the eight century A.D. That was why many Jews were tortured and executed during the Spanish Inquisition. It is true that some Muslims do not distinguish between whites and Jews, but more often then not they collaborate against us.

      • Zaporizhian Sich

There’s Muslims in positions of power in every white nation, even the U.S., along with Jews and non-whites. That is a major threat to our freedom, wealth, and lives.

  • LovelyNordicHeidi

My only thought for the French: Call for the deportation of all those non-Whites!

An all-White country is what France should be, nothing less.

    • D.B. Cooper

You get outflanked by resorting to that old tactic. Before you deport non-whites, you have to eliminate the white liberals who condone this behavior to begin with: the Clintons, the Kennedys, and the Bushes.

      • LovelyNordicHeidi

First and foremost, the French need to learn the right way of thinking. When they have acquired the right way of thinking, they will know what to do with all those Cultural Marxists and non-Whites.

    • Einsatzgrenadier

The French need to overthrow their tyrannical elites before they can focus on the repatriation of the third world invaders. Yes, France must be all-white. Nevertheless, before this can happen, she must be first cleansed of all cultural Marxist ideology and Christian religious belief.

    • AndrewInterrupted

Hanging on to Algeria too long was their biggest mistake. That and Indochina.

  • CourtneyfromAlabama

I am very concerned about the state of the white population of France. Even as an American who has very limited French ancestory, I greatly admire them. They are one of the great, unique, pillars of Western Civilization. I would hate to see them parish, so please don’t take what I am about to inquire about, the wrong way.

Is it true that only 50% to 60% of the WHITE French population at this point can be considered ethnically French? Every time I research the French population, the same statistics come up over and over again, claiming that due to France’s early history of letting in nonwhites from the colonies, that pure white French people are only 50% to 60% of the WHITE French population.

Does anybody know more about this topic?

    • LovelyNordicHeidi

I do know that if nothing is done, France is going to be one of the first majority-non-White countries in Europe.

    • Long Live Dixie

I’m not sure exactly what you mean, but I don’t see a future for France. It’s heavily overrun by Third Worlders and it lacks a true nationalist movement. What passes for nationalism in France is the principles from the revolution.

I’m not too bothered by that since sympathies are with the Germanic and Celtic countries of Europe. France has not traditionally been a friend of England or Germany and a strong France has typically been a bad thing for Euope.

      • Guest

The Germanic and Celtic peoples are not yet ready to completely reconquer their countries from the non-Whites, but that time is coming…. Soon.

        • Zaporizhian Sich

Let’s hope they will be ready do to the wet work required. It’s going to take a lot of killing now for them to take back their countries, indeed the continent from these alien invaders.

    • Long Live Dixie

Are you saying that the French who think of themselves as white are actually racially mixed?

      • CourtneyfromAlabama

Kenner may have answered my question for me up above. I sometimes enjoy reading Encyclopedias, jumping from country to country article, reading about their ethnic make-ups. Even the reliable Encyclopedias claim that 50 to 60%, or something like that, of white French people only are ethnically French. But the writers of the articles tend to blur between European “immigrants” into France, and, say, Algerians, and blacks etc…And they excuse themselves in the articles by saying “it can’t really be measured accurately what percentage of what is in 40% of the white French population”. The confusion that the articles cause, is why I am on here asking the question.

    • Kenner

I suspect this has to do with past Italian, Spanish, and other Euro immigration in the past. Many of those surnames surface in stories about France.
The non-white inundation is much more recent, so whoever is using that statistic is deliberately blurring the two.

      • CourtneyfromAlabama

You might be right. The articles I have read haven’t been clear on that at all. If it is in fact mostly Spanish and Italian blood we are talking about, and even Germanic blood, then France’s white genetic make-up hasn’t really been altered. France has always been a crossroads of all those elements.

    • Sick of it

Look at people who could be considered French sometime. The darkies are not ethnically French. People from the South of France were immigrants for centuries.

      • CourtneyfromAlabama

I see “French” people in France who appear “assimilated” with the accent and dress and all, who look like they could pass as arabs. I see this in travel documentaries all the time. It is disturbing and makes me wonder.

      • Magician

Well Miss France 2012 and Miss France 2013 were brunette white women but Miss France 2014 is a mulatto woman who is the product of a white French dad and a north African mother.

When a white woman was chosen as Miss France 2013, a lot of anti-white liberals in France made vigorous complaints, and Miss France committee gave in and chose a Mulatto woman to be the next Miss France

        • AndrewInterrupted

Israel engaged in the same pandering, appeasement tactic to bow to the Chicago thugs occupying the white house. Hoping for some more gibsmedats.

    • Magician

Well over here in our own country the pure whites should also be around 60%. Blacks – 15% Hispanics – 20% and Asians 5%

I read that it depends on the area. In Paris and Marseilles, it is becoming more and more difficult to see any indigenous white people. However, once you get out of Paris and Marseilles, you will not see a lot of non-whites.

But I would love to hear more inputs from others here on AmRen as well.

    • SoulInvictus

The French have an epic history, beautiful language and culture, and a strong identity. I don’t know why anyone here would wish them anything but success.
They can be pricks (same way others view American exceptionalism), but I never have understood the animosity towards them.
From Brits or Germans I get it, but not Americans.

      • Magician

each and every country in Europe does 🙂

    • M.

Ethnic French people today barely make half of the population. Some of the major first immigration waves in France began with the Italians (white to whitish) in the 19th century, who settled mostly in the South. Then came the Algerians (mostly non-white), who make up today around 5 million (around a twelfth) of the French population. To a lesser degree, they had considerable numbers of Spaniards, Jews (white to whitish), Moroccans (non-white), Tunisians (non-white), Poles (white), Portuguese (whitish), Roma gypsies (non-white), and other blacks Africans from former colonies (I’ll let you guess that one).

So in sum, yes. French people have non-negligible non-white ancestry, especially in the south, and some big cities like Paris and Lille. The only region that’s still more or less spared is Brittany. Ironically, it’s the region in France that’s the most liberal on immigration.

Overall, I’d say around 65% of the French population is solidly white. Euro-Frenchmen, regardless of their nation of origin, assimilated pretty quickly into the French culture, contrary to most North Africans and other non-whites.

      • CourtneyfromAlabama

Thank you for the detailed analysis. And I agree. With the exception of the Eastern European immigrants, all these other European “immigrants” might as well already be French (although, Eastern Europeans have a lot of Germanic blood and I think Slavs might be very similar to Gauls). Not that I am trying to be divisive….I am just analyzing this in response to the writers of the articles I have read, who like to comment on white France’s “cosmopolitan” nature.

The French have a history of Iberian populations coming in (in regards to modern day Spanish and Iberian “immigrants”), Roman occupation (Italians), Germanic and Viking invasions ( similar to most of the Northern and Central Europeans coming in in recent years), as well as strong Celtic presences.

So yes, the white blood that has been entering France “recently” is no different than what has already been there. And this makes sense considering France’s location in Europe.

Sorry if my above analysis sounds Elementary and childish, but I did the best I can with it. It is an interesting topic.

        • M.

No worries. What you said is actually correct. Most of the peoples that invaded France historically were indigenous Europeans. It was just Europeans invading Europeans as was common at the time.

The only non-European invasion France had was from MENA Muslims in the 8th Century, then a couple more times after that. Up until the catastrophic North African mass migration that started in the late 20th Century to this day, mainly from former colonies. Black Africans seem also to be catching up. Let’s hope Le Pen holds the reins of power soon and stops the disaster.

    • benvad

France doesn’t take ethnicity into account regarding nationality. They’ve forbidden this during Léon Blum’s reign and France-Mèndes time. I guess they wanted to go unnoticed for their gang.

  • Nothing short of the ethnic cleansing of France will in the end prevent the destruction of the historic achievements of Euro man. Does anyone doubt that a rogue muzzie with a nuclear weapon wouldn’t detonate it in a heartbeat? His 72 virgins would be his reward for his self sacrifice.

Meanwhile we in the West self annilihate with our porn, pro sports, negro worship, TV, movies, feminism, smartphones, sexting, and open borders. No wonder Adolph Hitler reportedly admired Muslims while fretting over the moral character of the west.

    • Long Live Dixie

It’s a pretty sorry statement if people start to look towards Muslims for moral guidance.

    • Einsatzgrenadier

Hitler never favored Islam as a religion or anything like that. His admiration of Islam was really an expression of his hatred for the cowardice and stupidity of the Christian religion. As far as Hitler was concerned, a negro with his primitive superstitions was superior to a Christian believer.

      • Long Live Dixie

I doubt the primitive Africans thought their Christian conquerors were cowardly and stupid.

I’m disappointed they were caught before giving the geeky multiculturalists a lesson in why they shouldn’t import hordes from the third world.

Terror attacks are the only thing they could possibly understand, but I’m pretty sure some turkey neck geek will pop up like a fool after an attack and announce that we shouldn’t judge all Muslims negatively, because of just a few.

Now that ISIS has created a caliphate all the Sharia transplants in the West will have access to arms and ammo and a place to flee to after a devastating terrorist attack.

    The fun is just beginning.

It is called diverting attention away from the real, pressing problems that will destroy society that the “cons” (good term, by the way) don’t want to address either because they agree with the so-called “liberals” or can not refute their arguments.

  • Magician

At least France appears to be “neutral” about the change.

U.K. appears to be “happy” and “glad” to see its white folks being displaced

    • watling

The UK’s ruling elites are happy and glad but the masses are too stupid and/or brainwashed to even know it’s happening, which is why they persist in voting for the existing elites. Truly turkeys voting for Christmas.

I suppose people that stupid deserve to be replaced, although it’s infuriating that those of us who realize what’s happening are also being dragged down into the third world cesspit.

  • M.

Right on the money. I’m not a conservative person by any means, and sometimes I cringe at some comments made here regarding the issues you just mentioned.

When it comes to voting, I reluctantly usually vote conservative, but simply for one issue I agree with: immigration. I just swallow the bitter pill for the other ones. However, I think many other liberal-minded but race-realist voters don’t.

Ah yes, the familiar contribution of Islamic immigration to the entire European continent surfaces once again, this time in France. No immigrant gives such a vibrant and diverse array of death, destruction, hate, fear, murder, rape and more, much much more. Than those gleefully known by suicidal liberals as, the Islamic immigrant. Seeking to destroy the Eiffel Tower, which happens to be the one cultural monument France is known for the world over? Is no real problem as far as the delusional self hating suicidal liberal is concerned. No, for them it’s noticing the fact that the people who want to destroy France’s greatest cultural monument are Islamic immigrants that’s the problem.

Liberalism: = Up is Down, Left is Right, Black is White and Right is Wrong! Pure insanity!

    • Let’s also remember this Trashcanistani also wanted to blow up the Louvre, the repository of irreplaceable pieces of artwork.

Yes, there would be one or two white French men or women who mix with North Africans or other non-whites, but it still is rare. Just like interracial relationships and marriages do also exist here in America, but are rare.

France also appears to frequently have a lot of heated debates regarding homosexual marriages. Are there some homosexual French people? Yes indeed. But there are very few.

    • M.

Most French (the Catholic church included) opposed same-sex marriage because of the adoption clause that came with it.

  • Whiteplight sees the Emperor N

The reason France surrendered early in recent wars was to protect their heritage as represented by their historical and cultural landmarks, which are so incredibly numerous that the average French would rather die themselves than see them destroyed. Now that the Islamists are targeting them directly, the probability that the multi-cultural ideal is a mistake will hopefully spread and France will wake up on day soon with a refreshed memory and determination to remain France.
