Mexican Train Derails, Stranding 1,300 Migrants Headed Toward U.S.

Reuters, July 9, 2014

A cargo train used by Mexicans and Central Americans to travel toward the U.S. border derailed in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca on Wednesday, stranding about 1,300 migrants, emergency services said.

Many of the migrants aboard were young people and nobody was injured when the train nicknamed “the Beast” came off the tracks, a spokesman for local emergency services said.

Several days of heavy rain in southern Mexico may have caused the train to derail, authorities said.

  • Don’t worry, Obama will charter a fleet of Gulfstreams to get ’em here.

    • dd121

      Probably Air Force One.

    • MBlanc46

And here I was thinking merely buses. How unimaginative of me.

  • MekongDelta69

I’m simply ‘crushed’ by this news.

    My day has been ‘derailed.’

    • Sighisoara

You may be on the right track.

      • The poor squat-monsters have been rail-roaded!

        • Homo_Occidentalis

Unfortunately for us, it’s still full steam ahead for the Indio invasion of what was once America.

        • So CAL Snowman

looks like they took one in the caboose

Hey MD-69, this is that one piece of good news you are always asking for.

They aren’t young people, they are families with parent(s).

  • It’s Mexico. Manyana, senor. Tomorrow, weez puts zee trains on zee trax tomorrow. Lez go hab a cerveza, amigo. The chillen? Dat is Senor Obama’s problem. Cerveza time.

    • r j p

And grab a case for tomorrow when they drive the train.

    • r j p

Driving that train, high on cocaine
Carlos Jimendez, you better watch your speed
      Trouble ahead, trouble behind
And you know that notion just crossed my mind ….

Another Dead Head in the house?
Close eyes, listen closely, you will hear the late Garcia singing those Casey Jones words.

    • Einsatzgrenadier

Don’t forget la mota. The mestizos will be smoking a lot of it while waiting for la Bestia to take them to Obamaland.

  • Dave West

Oh no, what horrible news, we must do whatever it takes to get these brown victims of violence into this country as fast as possible; so one day they can wreck havoc on the inner city ghettos of America.

    • ElComadreja

It won’t just be the inner cities.

  • IstvanIN

Where do they get the rail fare if they are sooo poor? I thought it was 4 year olds walking across the desert?

    • I don’t think they ride the train. Pictures I’ve seen show them crowding on the roofs of the cars or sometimes holding on along the side.

      • Hallie Eva

They pile into train cars in layers, hang off the sides, sit on top, much as people do in India.
In fact, the photo someone posted of the brown invaders headed north looked as if it were taken outside New Delhi.
Can you imagine the odor? These subspecies have no use for toilets.

      • Erasmus

Perfectly positioned to be strafed by military aircraft.
        (One can dream.)

    • Kenner

They ride the tops of the cars. It’s also called the ‘Death Train’.

    • LACountyRedneck

I wouldn’t be surprised if U.S. taxpayers paid for it.

  • RisingReich

A solid use of our high tech drone fleet would be to bomb a mile wide hole in this rail line every hundred miles down line – as far as it goes. Let them have fun fixing it…only to be bombed again the day a stretch is repaired.

A more likely senario is Obama turning the drones on citizen opponents to his destruction plan for Whitey.

    • Standup Broad

      Freaking BRILLIANT!

    • MikePence

      “..his destruction plan for Whitey.”

Not his plan. He’s not that smart. He’s merely implementing it just like Bush, Clinton, etc. before him.

  • LACountyRedneck

“Mexican train derails”. Why have I never thought of that one? What other things could happen along the way? I need more ideas. Bus overturns? A plane mishap. Boat sinks….

  • I wonder whether this “Invader Express” derailment was really accidental.

    • Pro_Whitey

Whoever is screwing up the tracks, keep up the good work!

  • Greg Thomas

Did obama send the border patrol to escort them the rest of the way? One must wonder.

  • Ella

Did they deported from Mexico back to Central America or bused to the USA by ICE?

  • OhWow

Too bad they didn’t fall off a cliff.

    • DonReynolds

It is 800-900 miles from Central America to south Texas. Surely there are railroad bridges along there in a few places.

  • DonReynolds

Good. Plenty of time to dynamite the tracks or burn a few wood railroad bridges, before they can bring in another train.

  • MBlanc46

I suppose that now the Border Patrol will have to send buses to bring them across the border.

    • They’ll eventually want you and me to drive down and pick them up, using our own gas money, and then take them home and feed them.

      • SoulInvictus

I know you’re shooting for humor, but what is the difference between that and your tax money paying for it?
They’re getting bussed, they’re going to stay (we all know it), they’re going to get HUD and EBT. The only difference between all that and what you said is delegating the leg work to someone else….

That is what is most infuriating about the whole thing. I don’t get how even lefty’s don’t comprehend the price tag on all this and the inevitable effect on an already shi….bad job market.

      • MBlanc46

Please don’t give them any ideas!

  • jayvbellis

We need mob protests outside of Mexican Consulates. Like to angry mobs of Americans doing to Mexican Consulates what Iranian mobs did to American Embassy in 1979.

  • jayvbellis

Can some of our Texas readers start providing contacts for military leaders based in Texas? It’s time to shame some big talking Texans.

  • ElComadreja

1,300 fatalities would have been better.

    • Zaporizhian Sich

Agreed, it would be better if every one of them perished, at least for white Americans.

  • B.E.L.

Glen Beck is on his way to pick them up

  • Who Me?

I was just over there–first I knew of it. I may be wrong, but it strikes me as slightly tin foil hat territory. If anyone has more info on this, knowledge if it is a legit site or not, please let me know. Thanx.

  • WR_the_realist

We need many more Mexican train derailings.
