A friend of Boston bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev implicated himself and Tsarnaev in an unsolved triple homicide before authorities say he instigated a violent confrontation that resulted in his death early Wednesday morning, CBS News correspondent Bob Orr reported.

The shooting happened inside an Orlando apartment complex as an FBI agent and Massachusetts State Police detectives were questioning Ibragim Todashev about his friendship with Tsarnaev.

Law enforcement sources said the two Chechen immigrants once trained together at a Boston area gym. But evidence also suggests a criminal connection, involvement in a grisly triple murder that occurred in September 2011, in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Three men, including one who trained at the same gym, were found with their throats cut, their bodies had been covered with marijuana and thousands of dollars in cash. No one has been charged.

But sources say during questioning Tuesday night, Todashev implicated himself and Tamerlan Tsarnaev in the killings. As investigators pushed at him towards a confession, he snapped, reported Orr.

Law enforcement officials say the 27-year-old mixed martial arts fighter made a move that threatened the investigators. The FBI agent, who suffered cuts in the altercation, shot and killed Todashev.

[Editor’s Note: The murders occurred on September 11, 2011.]

    From ABC News:

‘Mounting Evidence’ Boston Bombers Involved in 2011 Triple Murder

Massachusetts investigators have developed what they call “mounting evidence,” bolstered by “forensic hits,” that point to the possible involvement of both Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his younger brother Dzhokhar in a gruesome, unsolved triple homicide in 2011, law enforcement officials told ABC News.

The officials cautioned that until more definitive DNA testing is complete, it is still too early to consider bringing an indictment against the younger of the two brothers …

In the wake of the Marathon bombings, Middlesex County began to probe a link between the elder Tsarnaev and Brendan Mess, one of the three men killed in the gruesome slaying on Sept. 11, 2011. Officials said Mess and two men were found in a Waltham residence with their throats slit and their bodies covered with marijuana. Tamerlan and Mess were once roommates and did boxing and martial arts training together. …

The savage 2011 murders unfolded on a quiet dead-end street on a balmy night.

Mess and his friends, Erik Weissman, 31, and Raphael Teken, 37, had ordered dinner from Gerry’s Italian Kitchen at 8:54 p.m., but when a delivery woman arrived twenty minutes later there was no answer at the door and no one answered a call to Weissman’s cell phone, from which the order was placed.

    • Morris LeChat

I bet someone told Mess that muslims weren’t to be trusted and he got indignant and all liberal moonbat on the person…..Well, live and learn… or perhaps, get your throat cut and learn before you pass out and die.

      • Oil Can Harry

The three murder victims were Jewish. Dunno why CBS ommitted that fact given that the mainstream media love hyping so-called hate crimes.

        • I’m sure they’re still trying to pretend it wasn’t hate-related, though with thousands of dollars left at the scene, robbery obviously wasn’t a motive.

        • Anna Tree

Let’s sum up: 10th Anniversary of September 11 (symbolic date), three Jews beheaded, one knew a muslim called Tsarnaev
(religion, ethnicity and means/alibi/motive/opportunity, the police report said that the victims are believed to have known the person or persons responsible, and the attacks were not random), the FBI received tips, albeit vague, on this guy earlier in 2011, Tsarnaev was questioned and released. What the heck!!!

That’s quite a lot of coincidences… Common sense and healthy criminal profiling should have make the police check Tsarnaev more seriously. If I were the police, I would have. But of course I am not brainwashed by political correctness, afraid to be targeted as discriminatory, emasculated to not follow healthy common sense instincts.

To catch him then, would have saved the 264 victims and their family from the Boston Marathon bombing.

  • These murders – not just the Boston bombings – occurred AFTER the Russian FSB security service had warned the FBI (in early 2011) that Tsarnaev had gone radical… warnings that were ignored. This brings the death toll from the FBI’s politically-motivated willful negligence from three persons to six.

Incompetents are in all the positions of authority. If the US soldier fragged all of them tomorrow and took over the government, the place would be run much much better. It CERTAINLY could not be run any worse. What’s that you say about democracy? Well, we don’t have one in case you hadn’t noticed, we have a dictator ruling by decree and a bunch of corrupt old men in congress.

      • NM156

They’re not incompetents; they’ve been ordered from on high to not profile Muslims anymore.

        • Bingo.

As I wrote earlier on yesterday’s thread about Major Hasan, if the government declared the Ft. Hood rampage a “terrorist attack”, the victims and their families would receive full combat benefits. The White House has had 41 months to do this, and is still stonewalling.

        • Anna Tree

Not only they have been told not to profile muslims but I can’t help but think that the police, the media and therefore someone up high has also ordered to silence the fact that the triple beheadings was done on September 11. All the articles I digg omitted this important date until yesterday! As if to downgrade the beheadings to a mere crime, like Benghazi (riots about a video) AND Fort
Hood (workplace violence) AND the IRS patriotic targeting (low level

      • joesolargenius

I noticed that whenever there is a lot of White men with guns in any area , the crime in that area is really low .You could send white national gaurdsmen to chicago or detroit and the violent crime rate would plumett considerably . However the whining and complaining would really go through the roof !

    • Xerxes22

With our open border policy we have so many potential terriorists in this country that we just can’t keep track of them all. The FBI just doesn’t have enough manpower. Plus they are not allowed to profile.

    From ABC News:

Todashev was a lawful permanent resident holding a Russian passport, when he arrived in the U.S. in 2008 on a student visa, a senior U.S. official told ABC News.

Despite a recent assault arrest, his immigration file was devoid of derogatory information, the official said.

Like I said, why was this Chechen maniac in our country?

By the way, the FBI says the late suspect suddenly pulled out a hidden knife and stabbed the FBI agent just before he was about to sign a confession to involvement in the 9/11/11 Waltham triple murder. I presume the FBI was recording the conversation, right? Right?

  • The__Bobster

Why are these scumbags here? Who is screening them? Better yet, who is watching them?

Friend of Tamerlan Tsarnaev shot dead by FBI after ‘pulling a knife as he prepared to sign a confession to 2011 triple homicide’
    – Ibragim Todashev, 27, reportedly turned violent during an interview with an FBI agent
    – He was being interviewed over his ties to Boston bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev
    – Todashev, from Chechnya, was shot dead by the agent just after midnight Wednesday
    – He had reportedly confessed to the FBI that he played a role in a brutal triple slaying in the Boston area in 2011
    – Todashev had met Tsarnaev while he was living in Boston and last spoke him about a week before the bombing
    – He was arrested on May 4 in an unrelated incident after he knocked a man unconscious in a fight over a parking space

    • Morris LeChat

I think they were all boyfriends

  • Morris LeChat

hmmmm.I suspect the FBI had shoot to kill orders. I suspect someone didn’t want him telling us who in the government was funding them.

    • bigone4u

Bingo. Alex Jones an others have noted that the FBI can’t be trusted. The entire federal government starting with Obama is our enemy. Does IRS ring a bell?

  • GeneticsareDestiny

Why, why, why are we letting these people into our country? So much suffering and violence could have been prevented with a sensible, racially-conscious immigration and refugee program.

But no, diversity is much more important than safety. /sarc

    • NM156

Refugee resettlement is an industry, which is one reason it’s difficult to kill. Resettlement agencies are part of large, well-funded religious organizations that lobby DC.

  • Dave4088

Was Ibragim Todashev just a Chechen libertarian in the U.S. under political asylum? And why do we let these violent animals into the country in the first place? This is just like the sweet, holier than thou Kurds who we brought over some years ago and who are now forming organized crime gangs to enrich these United States.

  • IstvanIN

He was a suspected murderer but the cops didn’t pat him down? I have seen videos of cops tazing 75 year old women, something is wrong here.

    • Muzzies are handled with kid gloves by the feds; remember this was FBI involved. Since the FBI is part of the Department of Justice, they take their orders from Attorney General Eric Holder, who takes his orders from President Oogabooga.

  • Flaxen-headed Strumpet

I hope that Jorge Zimmerman’s lawyers are paying attention to this case of three armed FBI agents shooting to death an unarmmed suspect.

    • Anna Tree

Unarmed? Can you please support your claim? This is what ABCnews’s article “Florida Man Shot by FBI Was About to Sign Boston Murder Confession: Officials” says:

“Ibragim Todashev “just went crazy,” and pulled a knife during his
interview with the FBI, said state and federal law enforcement officials
briefed on the latest strange twist in the investigation of the Boston
      Marathon bombing.

One official said an FBI agent was stabbed several times, although
his injuries were described by the FBI as “non-life threatening.””

IF you are right, then it is fishy and fishier that the article claims otherwise…

    • Anna Tree

Flaxen-headed Strumpet, (it seems) you were right! The FBI and/or the media
misleaded/lied. As per the last articles on the topic, confirmed by the
FBI, Todashev was unarmed: the FBI or the FBI agent lied. A cover-up?
Can there be a rational explanation? Could be a spontanous crazy act by a
overworked FBI but much damage done… The trust is shaken… And it
looks as per the photos the father posted, was executed: 7 holes in his
body, included one in his head. I am still waiting for more information
but it is quite frightening, this looks KGB like or any authoritarian
      country’s secret services..

  • Jackryanvb

Really bad news here. The US law enforcement were beating a confession out of this guy and they end up shooting to death an unarmed man…. If some similar story comes out and it’s you or I getting tortured, then murderd under interrogation, p,ease do not accept the official story that a horrible racist NAZI aligned with Islamic terrorists tried to attack law enforcement and was killed in a justifiable shooting.

    • Sadly, I know the FBI a little better than most folks. They wouldn’t beat a confession out of someone; they would just lie in court themselves and use perjured hearsay testimony.

If this Todashev was intended to expire under questioning, it would have been done in another country.

    • Anna Tree

      • Jackryanvb

Sure. If you are in FBI custody you are sure to be searched. The only that could have happened was he reacted in violent anger and went for something in the room.

        • BATF tossed my home in December 2011, looking for guns I had quit-claimed years before. The quit-claim listed the lot of them by make, model and serial number and had been accepted by US District Court Judge Miller. They did not pat me down when they came back for follow-up questions. I don’t even think the two BATF agents were packing. The male agent wouldn’t sit down, and stood with his back to the inside of my front door while his boss and I sat down, but that was about as menacing as they got, and all of this in spite of my known past.

My point is that they didn’t frisk me the way regular city cops would have. I think that the more esoteric feds don’t normally deal with personally arresting genuinely vicious people, and so can discard SOP with Mike Scotts until they get used to it, and then their habits don’t work so well with the occasional Ibragim Todashev. Suprise! I wonder whether this has anything to do with the whole race and religion thing that forms the focus of this site. Once upon a time, British police didn’t carry guns.

        • Anna Tree

Well it seems Michael Christopher Scott is contradicting you. But anyway, I asked you to support your claim that he was unarmed. I brought an article (there are more) that claims he had a knife and attacked. So or the journalist in the article is lying or he did have a knife. You need to support your claim or I have to go for the journalist and Michael Christopher Scoot’s explanations. That said, again, if you are right then indeed it is frightening.

I have been following that story from a Russian blog, because the liberal mainstream media never talked about it: the “useful idiots” don’t want to report about beheadings (didn’t report the beheadings of the two Copts in New Jersey a few months ago either), after all this could upset the muslims! They started to talk about the triple beheading only a week or so after the Boston bombing as one of the victim knew Tsarnaev.

But the strangest thing, is that until yesterday the American police and media didn’t report that the beheadings were done on September 11.

I bet this fact was silenced. WHY?!?!? I would answer that beheadings on September 11 could be terroristic in nature, don’t you think?

Did they hide the fact it was a terrorist attack? Were the beheadings downgrade to mere crimes, like Benghazi (riots about a video) AND Fort Hood (workplace violence) AND the IRS patriotic targeting (low level prank). Is there more the public don’t know?

Did Obama know and hush this too?

To catch Tsarnaev then, may HAVE SAVE 4 lives and 260 wounded.

  • Ezra Pound

If AmRen believes the FBI’s version of events on this, it is gullible beyond comprehension. The guy most likely told the FBI – during the FIRST interview – that the Tsarnaevs were in the employ of CIA. When the Feds took this to their bosses, they were told in no uncertain terms to make sure this guy could never tell the story. So they went back at MIDNIGHT and shot him. FBI has already retracted the “he had a knife” fabrication and now they are saying he wasn’t armed and don’t know how the shooting unfolded. AmRen has been disappointing me lately in their willingness to buy into the government lies as long as they bolster the “muzzies are evil” idea. As an aside, the FBI guys who arrested one of the Tsanaevs had a “training accident” that involved both of the being pushed to their deaths out of a helicopter. How convenient. Kind of like the entire Seal Team six getting bumped off so none of them could come forward to say that it was not OBL they killed. If AmRen goes on buying into Jew/government BS, I will stop reading.

Sept 11th is a specially day for hostile Non White Muslims – they dance in the streets, open in our face Mosques on Ground Zero, burn down the US Embasy in Libya, cut the throats of some Jewish American students in Boston – that sort of think.

Only the most naive, idiot, traitors insist that these murderous Muslim murders of our people, insults to our people on Sept 11 th are a coincidence or…

    Our fault.

I note again that, traitor Libertarian Ron Paul argued in the Presidential debates on ~ Sept 11th 2011 that the 9-11-01 Muslim mass murder of our people was indeed “our fault” for stationing US military forces near Muslim holy sights in Saudi Arabia and for US policy towards the Palestinians.

Ron Paul was loudly booed for this insane racial treason, but for some sad reason relatives of our martyred White FDNY didn’t effectively end Ron Paul’s campaign/life.

Now we are forced to suffer Ron Paul’s idiot, traitorous son Rand Paul prostitute himself to Muslim immigrants, Blacks, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Gays and Lesbians, also pander to the Israeli lobby.

Rand Paul better watch out or he might suffer a similar fate as Bobby Kennedy – RFK got killed for pandering to Blacks, Jews and 3rd world immigrants, which included pissed off Arabs.

    • Notice that, taken together, father and son were/are pandering to a lot of contradictory people and forces, most notably to Muslims and pro-Israel forces at the same time. One who is everything to everyone winds up being hardly anything to hardly anyone, and winds up making nobody happy.

      • I have noticed that. I note that Bobby Kennedy got killed for doing similar pandering to non Whites, the Israeli lobby. Ron Paul and Rand Paul have terrible habit of trying to agree with whoever is in the room, pander express their religious conviction to oppose anything remotely associated with White interests and then try to put in some Libertarian/free market spin at the end.

I hope everyone reading Amren wasn’t fooled by Rand Paul’s grandstanding to “stop” the US military from targeting “US citizens” with drone missile attacks. These “US citizens” were nasty Muslim extremists operating in Yemen for God’s sake.

Wow, we have some terrible, traitorous “Conservatives” pussyfooting their way to wealth and power.

        • I can’t speak for the rest of AR, but I wasn’t fooled, because I know the difference between “over there” and “over here.” Military drones for fighting enemies over there is not only fine by me, but even more so if it means that we don’t have to have boots on the ground. Obama is backtracking on his own drone policies, when in reality, if he would just take the five minutes to explain this dichotomy to people, he would get at least 80% approval. Relying on drones instead of ground troops to fight the enemy in Whackistan is one of the few good things Obama has done. He shouldn’t punt that away.

I totally oppose domestic drones for uses other than pure observation. But the regular use of armed drones domestically probably won’t be an issue for another ten years or so. A simple one page piece of civil rights legislation would solve the whole issue.

And also, I think the politics of Rand Paul’s filibuster weren’t really pandering to the nasty Muslim enemy, but a quid pro quo with the RINO establishment, in that they “let” him put on this dog and pony spectacle in exchange for permanently coming out for amnesty and open borders. V-Dare has uncovered evidence of that. If he winds up voting for the Gang Bangers of Eight bill, then that will be as much proof as we’ll ever get of that theory being true.

          • Very well said.

I’ve taken a lot of criticism for exposing the immigration treason of Rand Paul and Ron Paul. Patriot, Constitutionalist Americans insisted through the end of the last 3 Ron Paul Presidential campaigns that he was our guy, on our side on all important issues.

Ron Paul was not on our side on the race replacement issue of mass non White immigration. This isn’t something trivial that can be compensated for on other issues like gun rights, lower taxes.

We have to spread the truth now, that Rand Paul is being groomed by open borders immigration forces to get a free ride in the cursed, anti White MSM press. Millions of otherwise, solid decent White Americans will waste their time working, hoping and praying for the Rand Paul for President campaign.

We at Amren, have to do the hard work, to expose Rand Paul as the Libertarian immigration traitor, racial pandering traitor he and his kind have always been, always will be.

          • You don’t have to do any work in that stead, because Rand Paul is never going to be President.

Let me do a little experiment.

If, at the end of last year, you were seriously considering voting for Rand Paul in the Republican primaries in 2016, operating on the hypothetical that he was going to run, raise your hand. I have my hand raised. Raise your hand, Jack Ryan, because even you were willing to give him a chance.

Now, after he came out for amnesty and open borders the second time, how many of you were seriously considering voting for him?

That loud sound you hear is that of virtually everybody who had their hands up putting them down. And that’s going to be the difference between his chances being slim before he came out for amnesty and open borders and none right now.

Even the commentariat on some of the right wing and almost but not quite there on race blogs I read aren’t considering Rand Paul anymore, and citing immigration as the reason.

          • Puggg

I had my paw raised before and put it down after. Does that count?

You’re right. Going forward, our votes should only be going to candidates who understand the immigration issue enough, or vote right on immigration legislation even if their understanding isn’t good, or at least we have some other sort of immigration motivation for casting our votes. We can’t send mixed messages to the political class anymore using our votes.

  • Morris LeChat

It all seems fishy to me. I think the FBI had orders to shoot to kill, this guy knew a lot of details that could get the government in trouble.

    • MikeofAges

I can only imagine, sometimes they want you to spill your guts. Then sometimes they want what you know to never be known.

      • Your own experiences with the FBI amount to what?

        • MikeofAges

No personal contact. But, as noted, I can only imagine that sometimes they, or other authorities, would not want what someone knows told in open court, or even in a written report available to journalist, researcher and the public. Quit playing mind games and report your own opinion as to plausibility of this idea. Yes or no, based on your experience and what others have reported to you.

  • Jake

History has proven Muslims in Western societies are a health and safety risk. Cut the cancer out and send them back to their home countries.

I notice glaring inconsistencies constantly in news stories such as these. Things don’t seem to add up for me. I can’t just believe the things they say on TV, that is something I have never been able to do. I can’t tell if they are just messing with us, testing the waters so to speak, seeing what they can slip past us, or if the American public is so dumbed down by this point that it doesn’t even matter how sloppy their propaganda is. Either way things aren’t looking good. What happened to America?
