Walls Close In on ‘Miracle Lawyer’ Alexandra Lozano Who Flew Around the West Coast in Pink Private Jet

A “miracle lawyer” who built a massive immigration firm serving Spanish-speaking people is facing a sweeping federal class-action lawsuit accusing her of fraud.

The suit, reviewed by The California Post, was filed June 15 in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington by lead plaintiff Maria Guadalupe Diaz Toscano against Seattle-based immigration attorney Alexandra Lozano Kennedy and her law firm La Luz del Camino Legal PLLC.

It claims the company systematically targeted undocumented immigrants with promises of legal relief before steering them into costly immigration applications that plaintiffs claim had little chance of success.

The proposed class-action suit could encompass thousands of clients across the US.

The complaint also notes Lozano has publicly claimed to have helped “thousands and thousands and thousands” of immigrants, while citing a Washington State disciplinary complaint alleging her signature appears on 53,923 petitions pending with US Citizenship and Immigration Services, the suit says.

The complaint accuses the defendants of violating the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, or RICO act, breaching fiduciary duties owed to clients and violating Washington’s Consumer Protection Act through what plaintiffs characterize as deceptive business practices.

The allegations have surfaced alongside reports that Lozano amassed a multimillion-dollar real estate portfolio and traveled around the West Coast aboard a pink private jet reportedly worth about $25 million.

The lawsuit further alleges clients routinely paid between $10,000 and $25,000 per case only to have their applications rejected or denied, potentially jeopardizing future immigration benefits and exposing some to removal proceedings.

The allegations come as federal immigration officials have issued a public notice directed at Lozano’s former clients.

Lozano resigned from the Washington State Bar in lieu of discipline on May 26 and is permanently barred from practicing law in the state, according to USCIS.

The agency said she closed her law firm on June 10, and on June 18 the Board of Immigration Appeals suspended her from practicing before the Department of Homeland Security, including USCIS, the immigration courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
