Help Us Hold Medical Schools Accountable for Racial Discrimination
Do No Harm, March 3, 2025
{snip}
On February 14, the Department of Education notified institutions of higher education receiving federal funds to cease using race as a factor in admissions, hiring, promotion, compensation, scholarships, prizes, and other areas. The notice further asked the public to submit federal civil rights complaints over instances of offending behavior.
This is a massive opportunity to deal a crippling blow to medical schools’ discriminatory practices.
And that’s why we need your help.
If you know of any programs, grants, processes, and/or scholarships at institutions of higher education using race as a factor, let us know!
We can then use that information to file a complaint with the Department of Education and request that they investigate these discriminatory practices.
Please only submit information available on “.edu” domains: this ensures the offending program is within the Department of Education’s purview to investigate.
You can submit your tip using the form linked here.
As Do No Harm members, you are perfectly positioned to expose the medical education system’s abuses and malfeasance.
Give us the evidence, and we’ll do the rest.
