Merkel Condemns Racism as Dresden Anti-Islam Marches Grow

Stephen Brown, Yahoo! News, December 12, 2014

Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday condemned anti-Muslim demonstrations centered on the eastern city of Dresden, saying there was “no place in Germany” for hatred of Muslims or any other minority.

In a speech at a party congress of her Bavarian allies in Nuremberg, Merkel also denounced an attack on buildings in a nearby town being turned into refuge for asylum-seekers. The structures were set on fire and daubed with swastikas.

“It is unbearable when homes of asylum-seekers are defiled, when people try to make radical slogans,” Merkel said, adding that everyone coming to Germany had the right to be treated decently.

Earlier on Friday, Merkel’s spokeswoman Christiane Wirtz said: “In the name of the government and the chancellor I can say quite clearly that there is no place in Germany for religious hatred, no matter which religion people belong to.”

“There is no place for Islamophobia, anti-Semitism or any form of xenophobia or racism,” Wirtz said of the growing Monday evening marches in Dresden under the motto PEGIDA, standing for “Patriotic Europeans against the Islamization of the West”.

{snip}

A backlash is being felt: this week Merkel’s conservatives debated banning the burka, the full body covering worn by some Muslim women, and her Bavarian allies had to drop a proposal to oblige immigrants to speak German at home.

The latest PEGIDA march on Monday drew up to 10,000 people and almost as many counter-demonstrators. The organizers, who began two months ago with a few hundred people, say they are not against immigrants but want to protest against Islamic extremism and the influx of asylum-seekers.

Merkel states there is “no place in Germany” for hatred of Muslims or other minorities. Actually, if these absurd policies are kept up, there will be “no place in Germany” for genuine Germans.

    • Oil Can Harry

She also whined “It’s unbearable when homes of asylum-seekers are defiled…” but their real homes are back in the Third World where they belong.
Isn’t she the same pol who (correctly) declared “multiculturalism is a failure”? So why is she importing more of it?

      • Mary

Probably she saw some temporary political advantage. So, multiculturalism is a failure, but I guess one must just suck it up and live with it. Nice.

        • Dwight

Multiculturalism means never having to go overseas to find an enemy.

          • Michigan Patriot

Excellent, true statement ; just like desegregation in America.

      • Sick of it

        It’s a genetic trait apparently.

There is certainly no place in Germany for Turks.

There wasn’t a place for them in 1683 and there isn’t any now. No need for a battle, just give them some compensation and ship them home.

          • David Ashton

And oppose David Cameron’s support for Turkish entry into the EU (whatever the US & Israel might want).

          • MBlanc46

If I’d ever thought that the EU hadn’t gone completely off the rails, the idea of bringing Turkey in completely disabused me of it.

          • David Ashton

The concept of a United Europe was generally quite different in the years 1946-1965, but it has been steadily subverted ever since, although destructive seeds may have been planted at the outset. I had the distinct impression that pro-Common Market supporters were originally divided into two ideological camps: those who loved European culture, and wished to protect it especially against communism, and those committed to international federalism and finance. The latter gradually took over the show, with writers like Andre Siegfried, Salvador de Madariaga and Hendrik Brugmans passing into the memory hole.

          • MBlanc46

From across the pond, economic integration made considerable sense. Political union, not so much. Add mass Third World immigration, and it looks like a distaster unfolding.

          • MikeofAges

Indemnify them. Never use a plain word when a fancy one will do.

Since when is Islam/Muslim a “race”?! The Marxist bullsh*t never ends! Merkel needs to go!

    • newscomments70

As looney as Merkel’s comment sounds, to be fair, that might not be her real opinion. The progressive elites tell her what to do and say. If she expresses any dissent, they will promptly assassinate her character, and her party will lose the next elections. The conservative CDU will be replaced left wing candidates, who are even more radical and genocidal. She still is a coward, but most politicians will do anything to stay in power.

  • SentryattheGate

Merkel’s spokesman said: ” “In the name of the government and the chancellor I can say quite clearly that there is no place in Germany for religious hatred, no matter which religion people belong to.” Then why do they allow Muslims in? Their entire religion is based on hate! Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan, while visiting fellow Turks in Germany in 1997, said ““The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers…”Doesn’t sound very peaceful and tolerant, does it Merkel?

  • Katherine McChesney

Merkel should be taught that Islam is NOT a religion, but a deadly ideology.

    • baldridge999

Merkel represents a deadly ideology called anti-whitism.

      • David Ashton

Back to her roots in the Soviet Zone Communist Youth?

        • newscomments70

The Soviet bloc governments wanted the third world to be communist. They have largely succeeded. They did not want to be overrun by third world immigrants; they simply wanted access to African natural resources. Furthermore, they wanted more communist states to surround the US, so that eventually the US would fall to third world marxism. They have succeeded in that, as well.

          • David Ashton

They also had a hand in the race problems inside the US and UK. These now continue on “automatic pilot” with the help of neo-marxists in the colleges and political circles.

    • Syntec

“Merkel should be taught that Islam is NOT a religion, but a deadly ideology.”
And the only correct way to ensure that she as a female receives first-hand experience of the fact, is to deport the traitor to one of those nations that practice ‘peaceful’ Islam.

    • I’m sure she knows. But her hatred for Germans far outweighs such a minute factoid. This woman must be stopped, she’s bloody well trying to exterminate the German genotype…

  • Reynardine

    Today 10,000. Tomorrow 100,000!

  • John Smith

I wish the decades old photos of Merkel walking with and associating with Communists could get some traction.

Nothing this woman says should be taken seriously.

    • Reynardine

Even worse, good old Merkel was Stasi through and through.

She apparently also has a fear of dogs, which Putin exploited by having his dog sit by her during some negotiations, which caused her to be very nervous. He is possibly the most cunning world leader out there today.

Putin has always backed pro-Russian sentiment; Merkel has always abhored pro-German sentiment. Consequently Russia will eat Europe alive.

      • I very much doubt that Russia will eat Europe alive.

        • ThomasER916

Who is going to fight? What resources do they have? Europeans are prisoners in their own countries.

  • Yves Vannes

It is idiots like Merkel that lead to the rise of groups like the nazis. Insult decent people who want to protect their heritage and culture; who don’t want to turn their cities into a haven for incompatible barbarians and hoodlums, who want a clean and safe environment for the wives and children – and you will invite the rise of a group that will burn it all to the ground

    • ThomasER916

The wrong side won WW2. The sooner Whites understand this, the better off we’ll be.

  • Michigan Patriot

More dumb, liberal ,politician ( redundant isn’t it ? ) calling true Germans ” racists “; most Muslims are Semitic people, hence Caucasian like all native Europeans ; it is self preservation against a destructive culture/ religion from both the Middle east , then North Africa . True Germans are being culturalists, a moral , natural act of self=preservation that is allowed by all diverse demographic group but one, the White Christian ; there lies the bigoted problem .

    • Zimriel

Most Muslims in Germany are Turks. They are Altaic, not Semitic. A nitpick, perhaps.

      • ElComadreja

I read not long ago that there are very little Altaic genetics in the current day Turkish people.

        • Zimriel

          Still not Semites though.

“Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday condemned anti-Muslim demonstrations centered on the eastern city of Dresden, saying there was “no place in Germany” for hatred of Muslims or any other minority.”

‘Axe’ Angela if there’s “any place in any Muslim or Arab country where there’s not hatred for non-Muslims.”

    • Sick of it

Even better, ask her how she feels about muslim immigration to Israel.

      • ThomasER916

That’s the only question that matters. Ask how the Culture of Critique will be affected by the exact same policies. You’ll find opposition in every case.

  • libertarian1234

“Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday condemned anti-Muslim demonstrations centered on the eastern city of Dresden, saying there was “no place in Germany” for hatred of Muslims or any other minority.”

What else could she say? Germany made a critical error in allowing in third world hordes.

They were tricked into believing they would stimulate economic growth, but they’ve turned out to be a drain on the economy. It’s too late to oust them now. All they can do to keep the country from going up in flames is pretend that diversity is their strength, like the weenies do here in this country and Britain.

Somebody might remind her that she said that multiculturalism has been a mistake, which doesn’t lend a lot of credibility to her position right now.

Germany’s best bet is the same one we have here which is to build outside internment camps for displaced persons so they can be sheltered and fed when armed conflict begins.

    And it WILL begin.

    • OyVey00

She could just say that they don’t have the space and money to house more asylum seekers and that other countries who have taken in much less than Germany or even none at all should take this burden.

But she won’t do that. Merkel is unabashedly anti-German and pro-USrael. Be it multiculturalism, transferring hundreds of billions of German taxpayer euros to pay the debts of foreign countries, letting the NSA spy on the German government and economy or pissing off Russia and fighting wars in the Middle East and Ukraine, she does everything the international elites require of her.

And despite all of that, the Germans love her. She is extremely popular and basically the only reason why her nominally conservative party even wins elections anymore.

This is why democracy doesn’t work. Rule by majority means rule by the mindless masses who happily do and say what the mass media has planted into their heads. Human stupidity really is the nail in the coffin for democracy I guess.

  • john maverick

Can’t we go one day without hearing some white retard say crap like this ? Its the same crap over and over and it never stops ! I was happier when I was asleep.

“Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday condemned anti-Muslim demonstrations centered on the eastern city of Dresden, saying there was “no place in Germany” for hatred of Muslims or any other minority.”

But there are plenty of places in the muslim world for hatred of Germany, Europe and all other Westernized countries.

It’s time to stop worrying about hurting the muslims’ feelings and start looking out for what’s best for us and only us. If wanting to survive and preserve our countries, people and cultures makes us “hateful”, then so be it. It’s better to be survivors who are seen as haters than to be bleeding-heart fools like Angela Merkel who would literally lose their heads to the muslims they pander to.

  • LHathaway

Condemning racism really convenient for some when racism means white men. This is a hatred of it’s own.

  • TruthBeTold

It looks to me the people of Germany a desperate for a leader who shares their views.

    • phillyguy

it looks to me the white people of the United States of America are also desperate for a leader who shares our beliefs.

      • One of my friends still says that I should be Minister of Internal Security of the North American Empire. Sadly, this is not an elected office.

Most Germans share Merkel’s views. That’s the problem.

  • Greg Thomas

“Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday condemned anti-Muslim demonstrations centered on the eastern city of Dresden, saying there was “no place in Germany” for hatred of Muslims or any other minority.”

That’s where she is wrong! Under the circumstances, “hate” is not only necessary, but the only thing that will save Germany from the invading muslim hordes, which ironically, hate native White Germans. Wake up Merkel! You said yourself that multiculturalism and diversity was a failure. A little hate might do you some good!

    • bilderbuster

      Hate can be healthy.

  • MBlanc46

Way to go Dresdeners. I only wish white Americans were following your example.

  • “‘no place in Germany’ for hatred of Muslims or any other minority.”
The West’s Open-Borders Overlords try to turn every demonstration against White genocidal immigration policies into foaming-at-the-mouth ‘hate’ for foreigners. Those few who get so much press for swastika graffiti, you have to wonder who might have hired them.

    • ThomasER916

      Sarah Marshak was hired.

  • ViktorNN

This is really something for Germans. The antifa and the left is so powerful there. Well done to the protesters!

  • Paleoconn

If they hate racism so much, why do they import so many racists? Oh, they don’t care about anti-native racism, anti-White racism. Got it.

  • IstvanIN

  • WR_the_realist

It sure is interesting how Islam has become a race.

    • ThomasER916

In many ways Islam is an ethnicity. Rape is a form of conversion. They truly understand the human psyche, as any career criminal would.

  • KenelmDigby

Helmut Kohl, who was the West German premier a mere 20 years ago, and like Angela Merkel was also a CDU, was pretty explicit in his determination to keep Germany European, if not German.
Kohl initiated in public his desire to halt third world immigration as far possible, and during his tenure cash bonuses were available for immigrants to return home permanently, in fact an awful lot of immigrants did go home during Kohl’s tenure.
It’s sad in the space of 20 years nuttiness has prevailed even in an ethnicity as hard-headed and unsentimental as the Germans, and policies and opinions perfectly acceptable then are now taboo.

    • newscomments70

I remember his SPD replacement, Gerhard Schroeder, “We need immigrants from Africa! We need these people for our econonomy! Germany desperately needs immigration!”. Horrifying.

  • See The Future

    Merkel’s days are numbered

  • ShermanTMcCoy

I forget. Which ring of hell is reserved for politicians?

  • I don’t know much about this group, but I hope that they are not the usual “I’m not racist, I’m not against immigration, some of my best friends are black, Arab, Muslim, gay….it is only ‘extremism’ we don’t like” brigade.

As welcome as a mass rally is (and quite unusual I think for Western Europe to see such numbers turning out) – and as welcome as a fracture of society and a push along these lines is also better than nothing, it can easily lead to ineffective results and endless talking about side issues in order to kick the can down the road, for example:-

“…A backlash is being felt: this week Merkel’s conservatives debated
banning the burka, the full body covering worn by some Muslim women…”

Is that like France, which does not seem to uphold the law very often? How are the racial and religious demographics in France as a result of “banning the burka”? Is it reversing?

No. I’m afraid it is not. If anything, if such measures were adopted, it makes it more likely that the invaders will become a little bit more “normalised” and accepted.

The only benefit I see from such “banning the burka” measures is to send a signal that Germany is not as welcoming as Muslims may have come to expect. But will that really stop them coming?

Will it stop them building more mosques, more Islamic schools, pushing for Sharia Law Courts, having dozens of children and rendering German people minorities in their towns and cities? NO!

That is why I hope the protests will lead to a more common rejection of all aspects to this mass replacement going on, and not be diverted or ‘confused’.

    • OyVey00

      >>I don’t know much about this group, but I hope that they are not the
usual “I’m not racist, I’m not against immigration, some of my best
friends are black, Arab, Muslim, gay….it is only ‘extremism’ we don’t
      like” brigade.

I’m afraid to say they are. They say they’re only against Salafism and terrorism, not against Islam itself, and only against economic immigrants, not against asylum seekers.

But that’s already enough to cause a massive “Nazi” shitstorm by politicians, mass media and NGOs alike in Germany.

    • newscomments70

Whenever there is a article with discussion online about Islam or immigration in Europe, I often write, “Muslims are human beings and deserve a future and homeland…but not in Europe. They need to go home.” I receive an overwhelmingly high number of thumbs ups. I may receive one thumbs down, but it is often zero. Whiney liberals want me to spout racial slurs, grotesque insults and misspellings. I refuse to do that though. I don’t hate Muslims collectively; they simply belong in their own countries. I am against colonization of any kind. That is why liberals hate race realists so much. They think we are “very dangerous”…we make too much sense and tell the truth.

      • I sometimes think they are frightened of our true sentiments and when faced with grace and logic are a bit dumbfounded at how to deal with our concepts.

Over the last decade, I have been one of those annoying people who tries to promote and abide by a rejection of grotesque ‘epithets’.

I have often argued that it is the strength of our positions, the strength of our convictions and not the strength of crude language that makes a true nationalist. There is no need for it and it does not achieve anything.

Some people usually say we should not back down to “political correctness’ – but like yourself, we are not talking about “being PC”. We are talking about making our arguments solidly and sidestepping both the slavery to PC and the expectations of our opponents.

They want us to be repulsive. They want us to be seen as ‘filled with hate’ for blacks and Muslims.

But whilst we can sometimes feel hatred for group activities (such as ‘grooming’ English children), for the most part it is a love of who we are, who we have been and for our future survival, not a hatred of some individual stood in front of you.

It is the process that is wrong and the situation that is wrong. That, for me, is the fight. That is the position, not irrational hatred of other races for existing on the planet.

So many people cannot understand this position. Out there in the wider world we are seen as an ignorant “racist bigots” who “hate” or who does not “like foreigners”.

There are a lot of people out there who are not even all that interested in racial issues and spend their lives equating “our problems” (as nationalists) as revolving around not being able to say ‘Baa Baa Black Sheep’ or whether it is acceptable to say “Paki” or if it is actually funny or not to try and do a mock-Chinese accent at a party.

They are a million miles from grasping what we are about and understanding the depths of our insight and positions.

Liberals, often viewing these former people, paint us as a more extreme version of that- and thus when faced with an actual seasoned race-realist they often don’t know what’s going on! They resort to falsehoods, catch-alls, clichés, assumptions.

We are indeed dangerous. Dangerous to their world views and positions. Maybe they secretly fear that we have a point?!

I was a liberal once, but clearly one who had the ability to actually take the time to think and learn for myself.

I actually started out to prove the BNP etc wrong. I realised that I needed to know what I was talking about and also what they were talking about…. and well, whilst I discarded some things along the way, I now cannot believe how naive and stupid I was as a liberal drone.

The ones out there who can think critically (and be coerced to do so) are not all lost hopes. Unfortunately, time is not on our side to be converting the solid opposition (and nor should we seek their acceptance!) – we may have to instead work with the middle ground and train them up like nationalist apprentices.

        • newscomments70

I read your reply on a crowded airplane and did not have time to respond properly. Thanks for taking the time to write such a lengthy response. That’s amusing that you , a former liberal, set out to disprove the BNP, but you eventually agreed with them. I had a similar beginning. I was indoctrinated by liberalism, but I started to question it. So many people in my family have been attacked by blacks, I could no longer accept liberalism. I was very angry, but I did not have any affinity toward incoherent white supremacists. Race realism was the most sensible explanation and solution. I do try to introduce race realism to people. I direct angry whites toward this website, and similar. There is always a disgruntled white construction worker, cab driver, or waiter who is adversly affected by diversity. I don’t know how many people I have brought to Amren, but I keep trying.

  • superlloyd

Interesting to see how a perfectly rational distrust and dislike of a barbaric death cult is turned in to a quasi psychological condition by the use of islamophobia as though it were akin to irrational phobias such as to arachnophobia. claustrophobia etc. Additionally, islam is now viewed as a race, even though race is a social construct and doesn’t exist, and thus beyond criticism, as we all know that racism is the worst crime that white humans can ever perpetrate.

These leftist semantic games are truly insidious and worthy of George Orwell.

Instead of listening to reasonable grievances, they have to “stop all of this racism”. They figure the “nazis” will go away if they make more hate speech laws. Foreigner crimes and welfare abuse will continue to be ignored though. We have to stop “racism”. That is the main priority.

This is how the East Germans were able to throw off the shackles of communism: They started to have protest meetings and marches every week, which grew and grew with the slogan, “We are the People” (Wir sind das Volk), which has the same kind of ring to it as the American phrase, “We, the People…”

When Angela Merkel said a few years ago that multiculturalism has failed, I thought Germany had hope. Now she has just folded and become a liberal. Germany has no hope now.

  • newscomments70

This has already happened in Germany. There are already several sharia no-go zones. Police can only enter with armored cars. I have read about such things in mainstream German media. About 75% of turkish “German” students are anti-semetic and idolize Hitler. About 75% of gays in Berlin have reported physical or verbal attacks. Muslim/black on white rape has been at high levels since the 80s; it keeps increasing. I have listed these facts on wikipedia, with footnotes, but they were promptly deleted. I was accused of writing racist propaganda.

There is no place for “phobias”? So you can’t be scared of someone? What if they are hurting you? What if they pose an “existential threat” to your nation?

By the way, the original definition of “anti-semitism” in the 1880s simply meant:

    Resistance to growing Jewish power.

Positive nationalism is much better in the former socialist East Germany than in Western Germany. Communism was really bad from the 1920s through ~ 1960, then things stabilized in Eastern Europe. See the great movie “Goodbye Lenin” about the final days of Socialist East Germany and Ossies as they are called being nostalgic for the old times, old ways.

Socialist East Germany and really all of Socialist Eastern Europe had virtually no bad non White immigration, all the work was done by local Whites – Poland was full of Poles, Russia full of Russians, East Germany full of Germans. Sure there were bad posters and official proclamations announcing support for terrible Black marxist revolutionaries in Africa, but in daily life, life was OK and very, very White.

Anything goes Capitalism is not the way for our people, it leads to decadence, racial and cultural decay, suicide/murder of our people.

We do so much better when Whites aren’t too rich, don’t have too much free time, too much liberty to do whatever they want.

Libertarianism is the worst – it empowers the likes of Sheldon Adelson, Mark Zuckerberg and Tyson Foods CEO Donnie Smith to do whatever they like – replace our living wage White workers with low cost, low wage “happy non White slaves”. The supposedly happy low wage Mexicans, Somalians don’t stay happy slaves for too long – then there are uprisings, all of the plagues of the third world.

Now you know why the so-called allies bombed Dresden. These are the people they murdered.

I’ve been posting links to this video on news stories, in FB groups, and on YouTube.

These are the sort of videos that need to go viral.

Thanks Thomas:) This was my first one but I have several that are partially finished. After I completed this one I had to start classes so I didn’t have time to finish the rest. Believe it or not this was done mostly in MS powerpoint. I also used Windows movie maker and audacity to edit the soundtrack. The characters are a microsoft clipart set.

I’m surprised by Ms. Merkel here. I thought she’d applaud the protesters….
