Chicago Store-Owner Labeled ‘Racist’ for Anti-Obama Business Sign

CBS Chicago, October 23, 2012

An outspoken and controversial shopkeeper who has been a fixture in Lincoln Square for the past dozen years has been targeted by a vandal.

75-year-old Sam Wolfson owns String a Strand bead shop.

{snip} His political leanings—anti-Obama—are posted on his store window.

Like his handwritten signs that say: “Romney, if you want to be president, you have to say this: ‘If I’m elected, I will not bow down to the king of Saudi Arabia” and “Obama, I built this business working 7 days a week, you didn’t.”

“I walked in,” he said. “I was coming to work and in lipstick it had a sign, ‘Racist.’ I’m not a racist. My wife is Spanish. Come on.”

Yes you are a racist.  You’re white.  And you have hereby been sentenced to death for the crime of first degree being white.

His mistake was caring what Obongo’s enabler’s wrote. The elites who put this usurper in power did so with the knowledge that his race would make him bulletproof.

The word “racist” has lost all meaning, they have beat it into the ground. It is now the Boy Who Cried Wolf for the 21st Century.

He is lucky they didn’t burn his business down.

I’ll give him a better one: “Obama, if both of your parents were White, your radical left-wing associations and anti-American sympathies would disqualify you from even washing dishes at the White House.  You are the ultimate Affirmative Action case.”

  • All this man is doing is telling the truth. If a Latino or Asian merchant had the same sign, would there be any criticisms?

  • JackKrak

Yes, there was a time not long ago when “racist” meant a belief that a given race was superior/inferior to another.

Now, it de facto means two things –

-any criticism of blacks or hispanics, no matter how deserved or justified
-any failure to agree to any demands they make with sufficient enthusiasm

barry soetoro is the most worthless groid to ever draw a breath.

I don’t trust him any further than I could throw Moochelle.

  • CharlesFinley

Years ago, it was obvious to me that barry soetoro is very happy.

Leon Trotsky (Lev Bronstein) also used the term “racist” to marginalize white Christians who didn’t want their culture paved over with marxism.  I suppose marxists will keep using this method as long as it works.

“RACIST” was scribbled on his window with a stolen lipstick!
