The riots and looting seem to have come to an end, but there is little reason to celebrate. President Trump, despite running on a “law and order” mandate and talking tough on Twitter, failed to use the military to  end to the chaos early on. The National Guard was sent sent to a few places — in small numbers — and  had clearly been ordered to exercise extreme restraint, even in the face of violence. The police, too, were either overwhelmed, absent, or ordered to back off. This was the result:

The authorities sharply criticized whites who organized to defend their neighborhoods. Mayor Lori Lightfoot of Chicago was typical. She called a few whites with baseball bats “vigilantes,” and complained — with no apparent sense of irony — that “taking up arms, that leads to chaos.”

Lawbreakers faced few consequences. In New York City, hundreds of looters were released almost immediately after they were arrested. The District Attorney of Manhattan announced last Friday that he wouldn’t “pursue raps involving unlawful assembly, disorderly conduct and ‘other protest-related charges where appropriate.” The Chief of Police in Dallas decided not to press charges against 647 protesters who were arrested last week. During the riots in St. Louis, the police arrested only 36 people. The charges against all of them were dropped, and they were released. Much the same is reported in Washington, DC and Philadelphia. Several years ago, progressives started running hard leftists for district attorney. With considerable financial help from George Soros, they were largely successful. This has led to a huge reduction in prosecutions.

Rioters attacked monuments to whites, not just those associated with the South. Some city governments appeared to endorse the attacks, and in Birmingham, Alabama the mayor worried that rioters might be hurt taking down a monument, so he had the city do it for them. Many cities are talking about “defunding” the police, and in Minneapolis, city council members have called for the police force to be abolished.

The leftist perspective on these events is increasingly dominant; nearly every major company in the nation trumpeted “Black Lives Matter” and failed to condemn rioting and arson. The New York Times published an op-ed by Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton advocating the use of the armed forces to end the rioting. Opposition in the newsroom was so strong that the Times added an editor’s note, saying “the essay fell short of our standards and should not have been published.” The editor of the opinion section resigned under pressure.

On Twitter, many people who said arsonists and rioters should be shot — including  Michelle Malkin, Congressman Matt Gaetz, and the President himself — found their tweets blocked by a warning; those cheering on the destruction did not.

The impact of decades of anti-white indoctrination bore fruit in the form of Amazon’s top sellers:

In the [Amazon] Books category, “White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism” is listed as the top-selling item, while “How to Be an Antiracist” is ranked third and “We’re Different, We’re the Same” is ranked seventh.

Critics of the looter were punished. Some lost jobs. Thugs attached Cassandra Fairbanks’s home.

The government is permitting lawlessness, while the press, academia, and social media are suppressing dissent. It is what the late Sam Francis called “anarcho-tyranny:”

. . . “anarcho-tyranny,” is essentially a kind of Hegelian synthesis of what appear to be dialectical opposites, the combination of oppressive government power against the innocent and the lawabiding and, simultaneously, a grotesque paralysis of the ability or the will to use that power to carry out basic public duties such as protection of public safety. And it is characteristic of anarcho-tyranny that it not only fails to punish criminals and enforce legitimate order but also criminalizes the innocent . . . .

America has practiced largely anti-white anarcho-tyranny for decades. This week, it reached new heights, and even a nationalist-populist president did little to fight it. Historically, riots  lead to rightwing turns, but this time, the blowback seems to be leftist, which is, in part, a result of America’s demographic transformation.

So, what can we expect in the future? The police arrest so many black men that at least a few will surely die in police custody. The likely result is more riots. There was little violence in Florida in 2013 after George Zimmerman was acquitted for shooting Trayvon Martin. A year later, there were riots in Ferguson after Officer Darren Wilson shot Michael Brown, even though Officer Wilson was later fully cleared of wrongdoing. A year after that, riots broke out in Baltimore over another racially-charged incident. Now, many cities saw riots over the death of one black man in Minneapolis. There is a pattern of escalation, and with the media cheering on looters as “activists” and major cities operating under de facto “catch and release” policies, riots could become more frequent and intense.

This summer, we learned that you may have to fend for yourself. How should you prepare?

1) Buy guns. The last time gun rights came before the Supreme Court was District of Columbia v. Heller in 2008. The ruling was on the side of gun rights by a single vote. It is not paranoia to fear the loss of your rights. British citizens enjoyed gun rights until shortly after World War One, and now have some of the strictest gun laws in the world. France is not far behind, with anti-gun laws so tough that after the Charlie Hebdo shootings, the leftist press wondered how the terrorists got their weapons. Chilean citizens lost their right to private gun ownership during their brief Marxist experiment in the 1970s.

It could get harder and harder to buy weapons, so buy them while you can. Support the NRA or similar groups, such as Gun Owners of America (GOA). They fight legal battles and put pressure on politicians to protect the Second Amendment; they need your help.

2) Home school your children, and support home schooling groups. Much like gun rights, the right to teach your own children could disappear; it has already happened in many European countries. Even in the US, homeschooling used to be much more regulated and restricted than it is today. That changed because of the hard work of advocacy groups, largely backed by religious interests. Homeschooling will increasingly become attractive not just to religious parents, but whites generally.

Public school, already poisonous, will get worse. The treatment of white students  in overwhelmingly Hispanic and black schools will become more and more nightmarish. Some districts have forbidden schools to suspend blacks “disproportionately” to their percentage of the school — with predictable results. Directives from a Democrat-controlled Department of Education to teach “white privilege,” the evils of Christopher Columbus, and the tyranny of national borders will make this worse.

Rearing honorable white children will increasingly mean homeschooling them, regardless of religious beliefs. The government will not like that. As public schools deteriorate, the government will try to hide failure by making alternatives disappear. You can further encourage homeschooling by supporting such groups as the Home School Legal Defense Association.

3) Leave the cities. Rural America is white, conservative America. Antifa are not found in farming communities. Red States will also do more to protect your rights to bear arms and educate your own children. With working from home becoming so common, it is easier to head for greener pastures.

4) Get to know your neighbors. There is power in numbers, and if the government won’t help you in a crisis, you will need friends. The atomization of society hurts us. Unsure where to start? Go to church.

5) Don’t despair. Whites in America and around the world have work to do. Go to the gym, read a book, learn a skill, make a friend, join a club. So long as whites exist, we are worth fighting for.
