Scott Greer, author of “Whitepill: The Online Right and the Making of Trump’s America,” joins to discuss the changes within the conservative movement since 2015, the consequences of the Iran War, and the future of the Online Right and broader movement. Scott argues that while many Republican politicians want to return the GOP to “factory settings” after Trump leaves, the Right is not going back. The conservative movement is filling up with younger activists willing to embrace more radical solutions. Indeed, the movement is now more radical than the grassroots. However, the fragmenting of the coalition that powered MAGA creates as many dangers as opportunities.
