[Note from AR: Frank Ellis, a professor of Russian and Slavonic studies at the University of Leeds, was suspended from his job on March 27 for stating his race realist views in the university’s student newspaper. He said, for example, that the belief that all cultures are equal “requires the same hatred and willful refusal to confront evidence, logic, and history that characterised the individuals who believed Stalin had built a paradise on earth when in fact he had exterminated millions of so-called class enemies.” Rallies and petitions by students calling for Prof. Ellis to be fired probably influenced the university’s decision. You can read more about the case here and here. Mr. Ellis spoke at the 2000 American Renaissance conference.]

THE PETITION

Dr. Ellis has made some outspoken comments on the biological basis of IQ and been suspended from lecturing while his university investigates them. He is the victim of political demonstrations and boycotts of his lectures.

DESIRED OUTCOME

To get a proper debate on race so that Dr. Ellis can explain his views properly

WHO WE NEED TO INFLUENCE

The people who are refusing to debate this—the political extremists.

HOW LONG WILL WE CAMPAIGN

Probably 3 -4 months.
