Lebron James’ 18-Year-Old Son Is Hit With Wave of Vile Racist Abuse for Taking His White ‘Girlfriend’ as His Date to Prom

LeBron James’ 18-year-old son, Bronny, is facing a slew of vile racist abuse for taking a white woman to his high school senior prom – with nasty trolls accusing her of using him for money and telling him he should have ‘chosen a black queen.’

LeBron Raymone ‘Bronny’ James Jr. – the eldest son of the basketball legend – attended the school dance with his rumored girlfriend, Peyton Gelfuso, 19, over the weekend.

But when a photo of them posing together at the event emerged online, the teens were subjected to a series of ugly comments from people criticizing the budding basketball star for failing to attend the dance with a person of color.

‘Very disappointing,’ wrote one person. ‘Shameful. Love yourself and your culture.’

‘I wish he chose a black queen,’ said someone else, while another user added, ‘Bronny you can do better than that. Come on. Not a good look.’

‘Just not feeling the snow bunny,’ read a fourth comment. A fifth said, ‘Bronny loves playing in the snow.’

‘If it ain’t snowing, he ain’t going,’ commented a different person.

Other haters claimed she was only dating him because of his famous father.

‘You know this is fake. If you weren’t LeBron’s son, she wouldn’t look your way,’ wrote another troll. ‘It’s all about your dad. Wake up.’

‘Boy, better not fall for it. She’s [money] hungry,’ alleged someone else.

Another comment said: ‘Don’t get finesses young king. Stay away.’

‘Brah you better not… You know she don’t want nothing but the money,’ a different user added.

Some people did come to the pair’s defense, with one person writing, ‘Y’all are too old to be in Bronny’s business. Let him date whoever he wants to.’

‘I can’t believe these comments in 2023,’ said someone else.

‘Love has no color,’ read another comment. A different one said: ‘Don’t be racist y’all. They look so cute together.’

‘Y’all in these comments are really sick. It’s 2023. Grow up. Interracial relationships exist,’ agreed a different user.

Bronny donned an all-black, custom Chrome Hearts suit with Dior shoes for the occasion, while his rumored girlfriend opted for a strapless, black gown.

The six-foot-three guard and the blonde beauty met at Sierra Canyon School, where he’s currently a senior and she graduated from last year.

She’s now attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, but made sure to fly back to LA to be by Bronny’s side at prom.

Bronny’s mom and LeBron’s wife, Savannah James, shared a series of photos of the 18-year-old ahead of his prom – one of which showed him posing in front of a black Porsche – which closely resembles a $182,000 911 GT3 model – however she neglected to include any images of her son with his date.

Rising basketball star Bronny – who recently announced his commitment to play at University of Southern California next year – left his mother ‘lost for words.’

‘Prom 2023,’ Savannah, 36, who also shares son Bryce, 15, and daughter Zhuri, eight, with LeBron, 38, captioned a carousel of photos of Bronny. ‘Lost for words on this one.’

Doting dad LeBron also posted some snaps of his son at prom, writing, ‘The best prom outfit of ALL TIME. Insane.’

Many were quick to notice that Peyton was absent from both of Bronny’s parents’ posts – likely due to the immense hate that they have already gotten in the past.

Last year, when Bronny attended Peyton’s senior prom as her date, the rumored couple was put into a similar situation.

They received bitter backlash and racist criticism from social media users at the time, after Peyton posted numerous photos with Bronny on her Instagram.

This time, neither of them shared any pictures together on their public accounts. One snap of them at prom has been making its way around the web – but it’s unclear where it came from.

In the past, Bronny’s dad has slammed the NFL for being run by ‘a bunch of old white men’ and was accused of ‘racism’ by Former President Donald Trump.

LeBron has also previously revealed he had to learn to trust white people when he was 14 years old, after he started attending a private Catholic school for the first time.

The 38-year-old said that when he began at the St Vincent-St Mary High School in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, he had no intention of becoming friends with anyone who was white.

‘When I first went to the ninth grade, I was like, “I’m not f***king with white people,”‘ he said on his show.
