Suspected Serial Killer Arrested in Missouri

A man linked to as many as six recent murders has been arrested in Missouri after allegedly using the same gun for every crime.

Perez Reed, 25, was charged Friday with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree assault, according to KSDK, but more charges are expected as the investigation continues.

St. Louis County prosecutors are still working through the murders, which began with 16-year-old Marnay Haynes on Sept. 13, a day after Reed allegedly shot a man multiple times in the chest, permanently disabling him but not killing him.

All six people were killed with the same gun, a .40 caliber Smith & Wesson pistol, which was found on Reed when he was arrested.
