Three Ottawa Men Accused of Sexually Assaulting Teen Girl

A trio of Ottawa men are facing charges, including sexual assault causing bodily harm, after a police investigation into an incident involving a 15-year-old girl.

Investigators say the teen was assaulted on October 23, around 10:30 p.m., while at the home of a man she had met at a local shopping centre in east Ottawa. She told police that once she was at his house, she was not allowed to leave.

The girl managed to text a family member to alert them she was in danger. After the incident, she fled the apartment and got assistance from police officers who were searching the area looking for her, based on information relayed by the family.

The men were charged Friday and will be attending court for a show cause hearing.

Bile Mohamed, 27, Yusuf Yusuf, 30, Ismail Moallim, 21, all from Ottawa, are jointly charged with the following:

  • Sexual assault with a weapon
  • Sexual assault cause bodily harm
  • Sexual assault as party to the offence
  • Sexual interference
  • Invitation to sexual touching
  • Forcible confinement
  • Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence

Mohamed has also been charged with breach of probation, theft under (two counts), administer noxious substance, and uttering threats.

Yusuf has been additionally charged with Obstructing Justice.
