Two males and one female have been arrested in connection with the murder of a young mother who was found dead on the side of a road.

Jennifer Raven Nevin, 23, was found dead around noon on Monday in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, spurring investigators to swiftly arrest and charge the three suspects, including one teen, in the murder.

Charged with murder are Koran Rashad Lewis, 23, Vida Milagros Confetti Duena, 20, and Kendrick Ky’Andre Marshall, 16, who can be charged as an adult under Alabama law.

A natural gas worker checking on a well head found Nevin dead off the side of the road at Watermelon Road and Phelps Road, police said.

That’s about 20 miles from where Nevin lived near Shelton State Community College, her brother told AL.com.

Brother Will Nevin said his sister ran her own residential cleaning service and noted that she had suffered from mental health and drug abuse issues.

‘On her good days, she was beautiful and creative. She had a thousand questions about everything. She was smart,’ her brother said. ‘But she had her not good days, and this weekend was a string of them.’

Jennifer Nevin was the mother of a five-year-old boy, and was last seen on Friday when she picked him up.

Investigators have not announced a cause of death, but said that it did not appear that Nevin had been dead for long when her body was discovered.

Lewis and Marshall are being held pending $150,000 bail, and Confetti’s bail has been set at $100,00.
