American Thinker Needs to Start Thinking

Heidi Beirich, SPLC, April 24, 2014

Today, American Thinker, a not so thoughtful far-right online publication that likes to publish anti-LGBT folks like Concerned Women For America’s Janice Shaw Crouse and World Congress of Families spokesman Don Feder, really outdid itself. It devoted an ungodly amount of words to a fawning profile of Jared Taylor, one of the most prominent white nationalists in America.

What could they possibly be American thinking over there? Taylor is a guy who publishes a racist newsletter, American Renaissance, which argues ad nauseam that people of color are lesser beings than white folks. His biannual conferences are filled with major white supremacists, Klan lawyers and their ilk. {snip}

American Thinker doesn’t start its puff piece with any mention of those issues. No, sir. Here’s their first line about Taylor, “Good manners are infectious.” Seriously?

{snip}

For American Thinker, Taylor isn’t a rabid racist who tries to gussy up his hate with big words. Rather, he is a guy who “like[s] ideas,” has “good manners,” and who wishes his “commenters [meaning white supremacists] were better behaved.” Sure, American Thinker points out that there is anti-Semitism and racism associated with Taylor’s group, but even so, the article’s author, Jeff Lipkes, wonders if racist beliefs–i.e. white nationalism–can “be the basis for a political movement.”

I don’t think it’s common on this board to refer to
Blacks as inferior beings relative to white folks. They have lower IQ’s, and sometimes, superior athletic skills, but not many would argue that they are lesser beings. Their skills are generally just not suited to an advanced society.

    • Alexandra1973

I don’t deny they’re human. It’s just that humans have races just as dogs have breeds. Each is different and differently-equipped.

    • Einsatzgrenadier

Blacks are more closely related to Homo erectus than Homo sapiens. They’re basically evolutionary throwbacks, a lesser evolved type of human being.

    • sbuffalonative

We’re different and incompatible. We have to be forced to interact and few people are happy about it.

    • blight14

It appears that you contradicted yourself…..thankfully. Semantics is often used against the entire premise of nationalism. I don’t think it takes a rocket scientist to realize that blacks/whites are vastly different in many categories. If magically, every white disappeared from our nation overnight, leaving every white asset, property, factory/business, real estate, etc, America would look like Haiti within likely 5 years with the infrastructure/utilities failing long before that. So how do we define your term ‘lesser beings’?

    • FeuerSalamander

They are lesser beings in that they can not maintain a human society, they can not create one nor maintain one. They can only create a primitive brutal world of mud huts, tribal warfare, theft, rapes and cannibalism. They can not manipulate their environment, they can not survive sudden changes in their environment. That my friend, is called “inferiority”. The white man can manipulate the world, can plan for and survive times of scarcity, can deal with natural catastrophes. The white man is not totally at the mercy of nature. The white man deals with the world in a way that is vastly superior to the way the black man does. The black man sees this and desires to live off of the white man’s productivity while hating him for it at the same time. BTW, their athletic skills can only ever be made profitable in a world that white people create, without a brain, those skills are meaningless. None of those skills enabled them to prevent white colonization of africa.

      • Chip Carver

Visit California. Then you’d toss the brown man – latinos – right in there with blacks when it comes to what blacks can and cannot do. Or just look at areas of Mexico, Central and South America that have had little or no contact with whites. Or for that matter, the areas that have had contact.

Our rulers decided blacks would never be industrious to get the job done, so the browns were let in by the truckload to finish up. They have much more of a work ethic than blacks. However, take away the industry that provides the work for them, and they can’t recreate it on any large scale, if it all in most cases.

    • Fr. John+

Minot, clearly because you come from ND< you've never dealt with the non-white races. I DO consider Blacks to be hominids of a different created order than Caucasoid whites. Both Scripture, as well as recent science (Avdeyev's Raciology, reviewed on this forum!) corroborate that fact. You are living in a dream world, just like most of the USSA.

  • MekongDelta69

Wouldn’t you just love to see Mzzzzz. Heidi Beirich at an AmRen Conference and watch her head (figuratively) explode?!?!

    • Geo1metric

But wait! Vacuums implode, not explode.

      • foundingstockcracker

        Heidi’s at about 29in. Hg.

    • Keep Honkin, I’m Reloading

I’d rather see her in a darkened alley in Baltimore’s inner harbor area.

  • Geo1metric

So, Heidi, explain why there can be a National Association for the ADVANCEMENT of colored people (NAACP), and not a mere web site that advocates for Whites?

    • Oil Can Harry

Sadly the NAACP and Heidi’s $PLC may get some of that $2.5 million the NBA is planning to embezzle from Donald Sterling.

      • Groovy

Sterling’s getting it from UCLA giving the donation he gave them. Idiots!

  • watson800

Another lame hit piece by SPLC. What is funny is that the SPLC still thinks it has credibility.
And of course she misstates the position of Amren and Jared. She can’t have an honest discussion.

    • Truthseeker

Since the original post uses Disqus, I went and posted a level-headed comment in defense of Jared Taylor. Not surprisingly, they just deleted it. They wouldn’t want any reasonable discussion happening over there now, would they?

      • Geo1metric

Excellent move; I think I’ll do so as well.

    • blight14

Its as if the very DNA of those in the $PLC, Beirich, Potok, Seligman Dees, et al, is coded to loathe and defile the white race. And yet they ponder why they’ve been hated throughout recorded history. The answer to that one isn’t rocket science.

  • WR_the_realist

Dear me, Heidi Beirich doesn’t like Jared Taylor, and doesn’t think anybody else should either. In other news, the Earth continues to orbit the Sun. If Jared Taylor is a white nationalist then Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are black nationalists. When are they going to be demonized by the $PLC?

  • DaveMed

    American Thinker is “far-right”?

The article was fair and balanced. Lipkes trated Taylor with respect, which is what one is supposed to do when one interviews another person.

    • Frank_DeScushin

“Far-right” = Anyone who speaks out against the Liberal agenda.

      • Alexandra1973

To these lefties even center is “far-right.” It’s all relative.

  • Conrad

    Good manners are infectious.
    Except where leftists are concerned.

  • America culture and Politics have always swing, more often than not it goes to the edge of exteams, This i fear may be the future swing. right now its all about everone who is not from or born in the U.S and minorities. I do believe it is comming to an end, we are on the tail of it.
Domestic polocie i think will begin to a Nationalizm movement. This may and very well where we will see geographics become more defined. To the point of cities and counties wanting to leave the state, maybe as much as States wanting to leave the country. I do blame serpremisists, not so much white ones, most were drove underground or killed off my the Feds. But not the black. they grew and still growing, in numbers as well as there hate. Thus a rise of a new White front. One that begins with not only the militias who are more orginized than the street thug gangs, but better equiped, not just with hardware but a understanding of local and federal laws. These are not Klans men or skin heads here i speek of.
This is what i fear. Hate breeds hate, all civilized men and women, of all races, and i mean Civilized. want the same things in life. To be productive in there comunity, the ability to take care of ones self and famliy, and a little extra money to play with.
What the Al sharptons and Jessy’s don’t see is that there hate race baiting is going to be there biggest fall, many educated blacks don’t like them either, they see for what they are, making money on the plite and dispair of other people. and when they find that they are in the wrong, they are gone.

  • Cecil Broomsted

Yes, Heidi, let’s hope it can be the basis for a political movement. Whites are getting the shaft quite intensely now thanks in no small part to your ilk, and we’ve had about enough of it.

    • RisingReich

We don’t need her kind whatsoever. Let her pets have their way with her.

  • I love the SPLC. That’s how I found Amren. SPLC also taught me that liberals, anti-racists, etc, simply speak bulls**t. Thanks, SPLC, for all that you’ve taught me. Now, go to hades.

  • BerndV

You might be a self-hating white too if you were Heidi. A picture is worth a thousand words:

    • Cecil Broomsted

Great Scott, man! Is that our Heidi?

      • foundingstockcracker

Thank goodness I haven’t just eaten,

        • Zimriel

          – something rarely heard from Heidi’s lips

      • IstvanIN

Not exactly the Heidi I remember from the Shirley Temple movie.

    • SouthronKittie

      Yikes

    • Petronius

      That’s a lot of potatoes.

Aside from the potatoes, everything else is argumentum ad hominem.

    • IstvanIN

Are there ANY women on their side who are reasonably attractive? Not beauty queens but simply not scary?

      • So CAL Snowman

I think Janet Reno qualifies as Ms. Universe for their side. When you are rejected by the world, you reject the world.

        • IstvanIN

I am sorry, I meant woman, not Janet Reno.

      • Reverend Bacon

To be fair, there are a number of attractive women who side with them. That may not be the same thing as you intend it; but I’d be shocked if Angelina Jolie didn’t give them lots of money. I admit I can’t see an attractive woman actually working there.

      • Fighting_Northern_Spirit

Unfortunately there are some attractive ones, and it’s intensely depressing when they say things like this: “The German nation is nothing positive for me by any means. I would even combat it politically.” – Franziska Drohsel, former leader of the youth organization of the German Socialist Party SPD

      • saxonsun

We can only imagine what you men look like. Let’s see, fat stomachs, saggy, wrinkled butts, bald heads and bad breath. But of course, you are MEN so your appearance doesn’t matter. You’d be quite surprised to know how you are laughed at.

        • Geo1metric

We get lots of “privileges” since we are the ones who die in battle. Besides that, we are STRONGER, so we rule. Way of the world.

        • IstvanIN

HEY! I am not bald. Thank you.

          • Geo1metric

I wonder how she knows about their “wrinkled butts”?

          • IstvanIN

Inquiring minds would rather not know.

      • Magician

Most female celebrities should AT LEAST say liberal things… even if she is only pretending to be politically correct. If a female celebrity ever says something politically incorrect, her career will be in jeopardy. And the more she says anti-white things in the mainstream media, the more popular she will become and end up giving her more money.

    • shawnmer

      Aaaah! Warning next time!

    • Tom Thumb

Sir, In the name of decency, the moderator should delete that apparition.

    • Katherine McChesney

    • RisingReich

      Yikes.

    • Alexandra1973

She looks like coalburner material to me. (Can we use that word here?)

    • LovelyNordicHeidi

*SHOCKED* I’d rather she wouldn’t have the same first name as me.

She’s an additional reason why you shouldn’t be on the liberal side.

    • oddball1776

      0/10.

      Would fat shame.

    • BillMillerTime

I didn’t know that Jabba the Hut even had a twin sister.

    • AndrewInterrupted

Oh, that’s just her ‘game face’.
Here she is when she gets frisky.

    • Magician

This woman looks like the black men’s dream….

    • Drew

Relevance of the photo and your observation? Let’s not sink to $PLC levels.

      • Let’s not pretend that a shameless glutton should be lecturing anyone else about morality. She’s greedy and entitled and it shows in her spherical figure, which could only be created via food addiction and sloth. There’s nothing wrong with pointing that out.

        • Geo1metric

Gluttony is one of the seven deadly sins. She looks to be on the fast train to hades.

          • So are sloth, greed, wrath, pride, and envy. I’m guessing the only one she doesn’t regularly give in to is lust.

          • Geo1metric

            LoL!, ya think?

On the other hand, they say “there’s someone for everyone”. 🙂

          • Geo1metric

Well, they say there’s someone out there for everyone, right?

  • Zimriel

Remember: the SPLC isn’t “Mother Jones” or even the New York Times. The SPLC doesn’t write opinion; it delivers fatwa. This is a threat against the American Thinker for daring to post this.

  • Tom Thumb

I don’t hate black people. I’m just exhausted with their never ending whining and [frankly, I don’t give a damn anymore].

    • IstvanIN

And their crime and inability to speak intelligibly.

    • dukem1

Go with Toure’ on MSNBC..”.Negro Fatigue”.
It’s the thought sensation that’s sweepin’ the nation!

    • Urbane Neanderthal

Very few people hate blacks, but most, if they are being honest hate being around the average specimen of the black race.

      • saxonsun

Yes, and we don’t really think about them until they’re thrust upon us.

      • Geo1metric

Very simply, I don’t want to be FORCED to associate with them. Leave me alone.

    • bilderbuster

      I only severely dislike them.

  • Eagle_Eyed

Don’t worry Heidi, the feeling’s mutual.

    And put down the fork.

    • Geo1metric

Whenever she sees a fork in the road, “she uses it”.

      • AndrewInterrupted

        She counts calories–then eats them.

  • Tarczan

For all of their moaning and complaining, there is little if any statement of facts, which we all expect. The hammerlock that the lefties have on the media is loosening a bit. The truth will win out in the end.

    • AndrewInterrupted

She’s using one of the Left’s favorite propaganda techniques = point & sputter.
It’s Racial MadCow’s bread & butter over at MSLSD.

  • Frank_DeScushin

How will Jared ever sleep tonight knowing that this SPLC wench holds him in such low regard?

    • Borachio

Frank, please, let’s keep it civil. Don’t slander wenches. 🙂

      • AndrewInterrupted

I long for the day when Heidi approves my speech.

  • Dave4088

Heidi can’t even get her facts straight in the first paragraph. Jared Taylor has stated time and again that he is a race realist and not a white nationalist. Heidi is obviously too obtuse to understand that even though they agree on some things there are very real differences between the two.

In her very simple, anti-racist/anti-white brain any white person who uses facts and logic to dispel the hallowed myths of racial equality automatically qualifies as a white nationalist or neo-nazi.

    • Eugenicist

Right, any acknowledgment of a genetic basis for modal differences among racial group (even without making any kind of value judgement) has been automatically equated to “violent hatred of all non-Whites.” The social engineers are not stupid, and this is clearly according to a longstanding design. To what ultimate end they’re leading us, remains to be seen.

      • The White Russians found out what their end goal was. Let’s hope we don’t also have to learn it the hard way.

      • Geo1metric

“To what ultimate end they’re leading us, it remains to be seen.”

The races are, in my opinion, competing for resources. This may not be a conscious point of reference for each individual, but on a macro-biological level, there is no doubt about it.

Contrary to the views of some on this site, I think that the ultimate outcome will be one dominant race and NOT a blending of the races.

And the dominant race may or may not allow the subordinate races to survive.

  • IstvanIN

And this fat whale is out to destroy an Arizona school teacher.

  • shawnmer

I’m part of an “ilk!” Who knew?

    • Petronius

      Welcome to the Ilks Lodge.

    • AndrewInterrupted

Both sides are wrestling for ownership of that word.

  • RisingReich

Jared is a WN? News to me.

  • LIBERTYSINCURSION

This is one of the most disgusting looking “women” I have ever seen. She is an eye damaging sight to say the least.

  • c684570

Heidi also needs to go on a diet.

  • Hal K

Nice website you have here, American Thinker. It’d be a shame if something were to happen to it. Maybe you ought to think about it a little, if you know what I mean.

  • FeuerSalamander

It seems that the hate is coming from members of the tribe. When white people state they want a country for white people, that is hate, when the tribe states that Israel is an ethnic homeland for the tribe, that isn’t hate. They have discredited themselves. They are only after their own narrow interests and they are against us.

  • FeuerSalamander

Why do tribe members think that they are the ultimate arbitrators of right and wrong, hateful and benign? Why is that an ethnic homeland for jews is benign, whereas England for the English, America for white Americans, Germany for Germans etc etc, is hateful? When one lets one group decide the merits of everything, they always make everything shake out so they benefit and everyone else loses. Why are people still fooled by this?

    • Andross

They are a hostile alien elite, pure and simple. Heidi Beirich tried to get Kevin Macdonald fired for saying just that.

      • FeuerSalamander

        elaborate

  • Rachel May

SPLC might not have too much to say against Amren before too long. Mixing with smart Asians is okay…?….And openly homosexual Mark Donovan speaking at the Amren conference over the weekend….So what exactly is Amren standing for these days? And when did queers begin making the speakers list or was this a one time accident?

    • AndrewInterrupted

You would be speaking of Jack Donovan, I assume? He is a staunch critic of Cultural Marxism and the grievance industry. Also known as The Left.

Jack also embraces science and race realism. He’s a natural fit for an AmRen conference, IMO.

      • Rachel May

I agree, but Amren shouldn’t act like they are for white people. I have made it my policy for years not to criticize other organizations unless really deserving. Homosexuality is a tool of Cultural Marxism. I don’t care if Donovan speaks against “faggotry” or not – his books are nothing but an attempt for homos to feel normal and manly and groups like Amren and NPI are right in bed with him. The whole thing is very unmanly! Homos working for a resurgence of manliness? That’s like feminists supporting the porn industry and “liberated” women who can do porn if they want because it is allegedly “empowering.”

Are race mixing couples okay if they don’t breed but still attend elitist WN or race realist conferences – if their IQ is large enough. I’m fighting for the integrity of my people. I’m fighting for their right to physically survive and spiritually thrive. Homos are one of the destructive means toward white genocide. I don’t care how many books he rights or men he dazzles into getting a speaking engagement – its all faggotry and anyone associating with him should be ashamed.

        • BillMillerTime

You don’t choose your sexuality, Rachel; it choose you.

Don’t let the door hit ya.

          • AndrewInterrupted

Yeah, she seems to lean heavy toward Biblical views, not scientific.

            “chooses”

        • AndrewInterrupted

Ironically, the definition of diversity is recognizing differences, not blending them. The persecution to blend is admission that whites have something non-whites want/need.

        • saxonsun

As a gay white woman, I can assure you that I’ve always known I liked women, not men. And I knew this at 4 yrs. old–just like you knew you were “straight.” Oh, and by the way, you straights have been trying to convert us forever. Ever notice that we remain happily gay? Maybe you should try some of that “cultural Marxism” on us, huh?!

          • AndrewInterrupted

Not many gay, white women in the GOP. You and Jack certainly qualify as ‘odd ducks’ in that regard. The LGBTQ Nation is solidly nestled into the GIP= the Grievance Industry Party.

So tell me SaxonSun, if you knew you would get a promotion or a special privilege at your employer for being gay and female, would you take it?

          • Geo1metric

Happily gay? Many of the homosexual men I’ve known over the years, realize all too late in life that, at least male homosexuality, is a very lonely place to be from middle age on.

They are anything but “happy”, and a goodly number have taken the .65 cent off-ramp. Sad.

          • AndrewInterrupted

            “…the .65 cent off-ramp…” That would be?? ….a bullet?

            Yeah, maybe happily conflicted gay.

          • Geo1metric

It used to be 35 cents, but inflation you know… .

          • AndrewInterrupted

You got deleted last time. I can’t imagine why? You keep it clean here.

          • Geo1metric

Yeah, there were a couple of comments of mine that got deleted; the curious thing is that there was not the usual “deleted” comment. They simply disappeared.

      • Romulus

        I was at the conference.
        Seriously??!! Jack is a homosexual???!!!!
Disgusting!!! Please say it isnt so!

I suspected that amren is going into the realm of inviting everyone with light skin and not people that would truly benefit our people.
I suppose i dont have to mention that he is off my comrade list effective immediately if what rachel said is true!

        • AndrewInterrupted

Read his wiki profile. I would describe Jack more as indescribable.

          • Romulus

I spoke with him directly and found nothing in his mannerisms that would exhibit an excess of sugar in his tank. Judging from his extensive personal artwork on his skin, I had the impression that he was a Celtic/Norse alpha male.
He even described an foot injury sustained through practicing martial instruction.
If he is light in the loafers , then it was well hidden.

I’ll go with my first impression and choose to believe he is an alpha and ally until I observe otherwise. I will not, however, support homosexuality in anyway, shape or form.

          • AndrewInterrupted

Perhaps he is a manifestation of ‘…Going Galt…’?

          • Romulus

            Lol!!

            Very clever Drew!

    • Drew

The disposition toward same sex eroticism is often mainly based upon the genetic dice throw. Conditions like homosexual disposition, schizoid tendencies, manic-depressive dynamics, and psychopathic inclinations serve to remind many persons so “possessed” of the deep realism of genes and the delusional nature of the Blank Slate siren song. Would they had a kinder messenger. The issue is not that they have, variously, “a Cross to bear” but rather h-o-w they do so. I believe thoughtful regard to the matter will suggest that we do not condemn people for how they were born but rather how they confront that reality and how well they bear up. No?

  • Aussie_Thinker

Been commenting on the original article. Its just a few people who can’t seem to accept other views that defend it. Reasonable discourse and debate seems somewhat of a lost cause. I’ve had a better discussion about homosexuality and race with a gay mulatto acquaintance than I can with them there.

  • Michael OSullivan

Most comments I read here and on other Pro White / Race Real websites are very well written and usually site facts.

  • Cannot Tell

I sent the American Thinker article to most of my white friends on facebook. Even the ones from the South responded with the usual “race is a social construct” and “IQ tests aren’t reliable or valid” arguments. I refuted them, but nobody has changed their views, which I found very discouraging. However, I was happy to see that at least one person who commented on the AR posting of the article was new to the website and said that they would keep reading AR.

I’m changing my strategy for convincing people of the truth. I’m going to try to alert whites to how dangerous blacks are and how much they hate whites. Since rationality doesn’t seem to guide my white friends to race realism I’m going to try appealing to their emotions instead.

    • Geo1metric

…”race is a social construct”… . Tell them, “no, society is a racial construct”.

But you are correct that arguing facts usually does not win “them” over, since their kind of “liberalism” is a religion to them, a faith based construct, not a fact based construct.

  • AndrewInterrupted

I’ve always said that politicians should have to submit to hormone

    • FeuerSalamander

The one’s who say things such as “we need to start thinking outside the box” are the ones that have never, and who will never, think outside the box. They are looking for an easy answer, and when someone does present them with an idea from “outside the box” they can not recognize it’s value and reject it. They usually executives who add nothing to a company’s bottom line.

  • FeuerSalamander

They are not the final word on anything.

    • Chip Carver

Yeah, but some places, someone else is the final word on things, if you get my drift. That’s why the hammer comes down. Unfortunate, right?

  • Geo1metric

Besides that, I’ve never thought of AJ as particularly attractive. My tastes run to the one just below posted by Fighting_Northern_Spirit. Except for her politics.

  • A Freespeechzone

The facts tend to support Jared Taylor’s positions…..where are their facts?

  • I would love to go to the SPLC website and comment, but apparently I have been banned. I guess it had something to do with them not being too keen on honesty and facts that contradicted their brainwashing and propaganda. And maybe it also had something to do with their commenters starting to show their true colors. Seriously, the comments there are pretty much from the same 4 or 5 people who go back and forth patting each other on the back while saying absolutely nothing of substance or value.

American Thinker is a perfectly fine publication. Taylor is a race realist and takes the proper scientific approach to matters of race. Statistics can be applied to races and ethnic groups, but–of course–each individual must be judged on his or her own merits, regardless of the group to which he or she belongs.

“Heidi Beirich needs to start thinking”. Isn’t this an oxymoron?

My comment over there at SPLC that got deleted was:

“….American Thinker Needs to Start Thinking…”?…” Or “Submitting”?
