Fort Hood Shooting Suspect Maj. Nidal Hasan Renounces Citizenship

ABC Local (Fort Hood), August 2, 2013

Days before he’s set to go on trial, the Army psychiatrist charged in the Fort Hood shooting rampage released more of his writings about America and Islam.

Foxnews.com on Thursday posted documents in which Maj. Nidal Hasan renounced his U.S. citizenship and soldier’s oath and denounced democracy. Hasan is charged in the November 2009 rampage that killed 13 soldiers and wounded more than 30 people at the Texas Army post. His court-martial is scheduled to start Tuesday.

The renunciation of U.S. citizenship is contained in a handwritten note dated Oct. 18, 2012, Fox News reported. A typewritten note that does not have a date says it is not “permissible” for someone to prefer American democracy over traditional Islamic Sharia law, the network also reported. Hasan wrote that Muslims should not “compromise their beliefs” for the sake of non-Muslims.

{snip}

The documents were released by Hasan through his attorney for civil issues, John Galligan. {snip}

Hasan is charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder. Hasan, who faces the death penalty if convicted, is serving as his own attorney in his court-martial.

  • Renounces it? He never should have got it to begin with.

    • He not only received citizenship in a nation that should never had even allowed him to visit as a tourist, but received a free education, courtesy of the US taxpayers. Nice, huh?

      • mobilebay

        Hassan was born in Virginia.

  • Truthseeker

Oh look, it’s today’s daily confirmation that Muslims shouldn’t be allowed in Western society.

  • Jesse James

The only question I have about Major Hasan is why hasn’t this traitorous terrorist been shoved up against a wall and shot yet? Thirteen good soldiers are laying in the grave since November of 2009 and the United States is still PAYING this SOB. The wounded have been denied benefits that would be due them if their wounds were rated combat related because the government insists on describing this attack as workplace violence. Meanwhile almost every month there are similar attacks labeled green-on-blue by Islamist “allies” against our troops in Afghanistan. When will the Army’s senior leadership be held to account for allowing political correctness to endanger our nation’s service men and women?

    • kjh64

Amen. So far, taxpayers have spent 1 MILLION dollars on this loser’s free medical care. He still gets his 6 figure salary every month. This is a disgrace. The families and wounded ought to be getting this money. This was NOT workplace violence, this was a terrorist attack and it was know by higher ups that this man was dangerous but because of political correctness, nothing was done. The families of the dead and the wounded need to sue the military.

    • borogirl54

And also veterans were denied their GI Bill payments because of budget problems but this fool still gets his money? Is there anything wrong with this picture?

    • mobilebay

I have yet to hear the word “Treason” associated with this monster. When one renounces their citizenship as well as their military affiliation, then it sure looks like treason to me. How about sending him off to meet those 70 virgins that muslims believe they’ll find after death? Won’t he be surprised to only find the flames of hell awaitng him? Take the pay he’s accumulated – if he hasn’t sent it to help arm Al Queda – and divide it among the survivors of his TERROR attack at Ft. Hood. Bury him in an site with a marker declaring “Here lies a murdering, muslim traitor.”

    • Jesse James

VFW magazine stated that as of the end of May 2013 Major Hasan has been paid more than $278,000 since his murderous attack against fellow soldiers. The Department of Defense is still refusing to acknowledge the attack as Islamic terrorism despite the fact that Hasan shouted “Allahu Akbar” during the attack and has personally maintained that he was protecting the Taliban by killing American soldiers before they could deploy to Afghanistan.

  • kjh64

“Hasan wrote that Muslims should not “compromise their beliefs” for the sake of non-Muslims.”

This is why muslims should NOT be in non-muslim countries. Hasan and others should be back in their OWN countries where they live among their own, then they don’t have to worry about “compromising their beliefs” for non-muslims, now do they.

It was political correctness that killed those people in Ft. Hood., 911, Boston etc. These people(muzzies) should NEVER have been in the country in the first place.

    • Jesse James

What is forgotten in the discussion of Major Hasan is that for several years he worked at Walter Reid Hospital counseling returning soldiers, some of whom were suffering from PTSD. Can you imagine what kind of damage this enemy may have done to these young men and women? Nobody ever talks about that or the PC regime of Army Senior leadership that put a man like Hasan in this position and ignored many warning signs that he was an out of control traitor.

    • China_Rising

      Muslims only understand violence.

The only response to a Muslim provocation is the destruction of his nation. We learned this the hard way in Xinjiang province, where the Muslims would rather kill Han Chinese than work together on building a prosperous civilization.

      • kjh64

It seems that no matter where Muslims are, there is always trouble. They don’t seem to be able to get along with anyone. They belong in Muslim nations, not non-Muslim ones.

      • Muslims like killing. When they don’t have Chinese or us Westerners, they kill each other.

Over a million prisoners-of-war were held by Iran and Iraq for a decade after their war ended. Algerian-backed Polisario guerillas hold captured Moroccan soldiers in make-shift POW camps today, after decades. Since Algeria and Morocco are not at war, permitting this use of their territory is illegal on Algeria’s part. Even when they don’t kill each other, they take obvious delight in ruining one another’s lives. Not even animals do that to each other.

    • sbuffalonative

Yes, Mr. Nidal has spoken for his people. They have no intention of compromising their beliefs. Therefore, Muslims CANNOT be assimilated into western nations.

  • White Mom in WDC

Darn. We lost a contributing member of our vibrantly diverse society. ( sigh)

    • LolKatzen

      Real shame. *Sniff*

  • White Mom in WDC

    Where’s the firing squad?

  • Spartacus

The fact that he had it in the first place speaks volumes…

  • He should have thought about renouncing his citizenship and accepting a bad-conduct discharge BEFORE going on that shooting rampage. That way, 13 innocent people would still be alive, and Hasan wouldn’t be a paraplegic looking at lethal injection.

    • mobilebay

I hope it’s televised. Our government needs to understand this was an act of terrorism, and not workplace violence. Washington is afraid that Muslims would be insulted if it were deemed otherwise. Disgusting!

      • Puggg

Won’t happen. Because Nidal Hasan isn’t a white Hispanic.

  • Eagle_Eyed

Even after killing 13 unarmed soldiers in cold blood and declaring jihad against the US, the government hasn’t the guts nor the legal ability (thanks to anti-nationalist liberalism) to strip him of citizenship so he’s gotta do it himself.

  • NeanderthalDNA

“Maj. Nidal Hasan renounced his U.S. citizenship and soldier’s oath and denounced democracy.”

So can we shoot him now?

At least he denounced our sick version of “democracy” which I refer to as “democratic totalitarianism”. Though likely for far different reasons…

  • Jefferson

If it was up to me, our government would stop handing out citizenship to people with last names like Hasan.

None of America’s forefathers had last names like Hasan.

  • dd121

Let’s put him on the first plane out of here to Saudi Arabia after his execution.

    • me

Nope. Feed him to a pack of wild swine.

  • Luca

They should let the victims’ family members give him 13 lashes each with a cat’o’nine tails made of pigskin inside of a synagogue with a pork chop stuffed in his mouth and then burn him alive while it is telecast live to the middle-east. Then ship his body back to Pakistan wrapped in the Israeli flag.

    • MekongDelta69

…On a Friday… …During Ramadan… …With Coptic Christians holding him down… …While naked women from the local strip club are pole dancing in front of him…

  • MekongDelta69

Don’t worry, don’t worry. Nothing to see here. It was only “workplace violence from the affirmative action crowd.”

NoBama will intervene and make this [censored – I don’t want my post deleted again for using an acronym] Director of Mooz-lim Outreach in his regime.

It’s the least the black muslim marxist dictator can do for killing 13 people of the type, who ‘Dear Leader’ hates the most.

  • Evette Coutier

Good, try him under Shari law and chop his head off.

    • sbuffalonative

That’s both a great response and a horrible response.

It’s great because it would apply his own standards of justice. It’s horrible because it would set a precedent to invoke Shari law.

As much as I would like to see him experience his own Shari justice, I’m not willing to altering our system of justice to accommodate them.

      • Evette Coutier

If he were an American citizen I’d totally agree. I think Sharia punishment is reasonable for non-Americans who commit acts of terror. Give him 100 lashes and saw off his head. If he were an American I say the death penalty by lethal injection.

        • LaSantaHermandad

But Sharia law would not apply to Hasan because he killed Infidels. That get him laid in Paradise 72 times.

          • Evette Coutier

Well, we have to add some Old school American justice in there.

          • me

            With 72 mothers-in-law. Welcome to hell….

  • Romulus

Dont bother with a trial. Death by firing squad from the Texas Rangers would be appropriate or the soldiers themselves.

    • Traditionally, a military death penalty for actions that had nothing to do with one’s official duty (like this incident) would require hanging in civilian clothes, rather than being shot in uniform.

The real pity here is not that he’ll get lethal injection instead, but that his body will be handed over to his family for a dignified burial instead of being cremated and the ashes ignominiously scattered.

  • Sick of it

They should be free to execute him for mass murder, being as he is no longer an American citizen and now just a terrorist.

  • IKantunderstand

Obviously, the perfect American according to our ruling elites. Being a citizen of America, is meaningless, and something to be shed at a moment’s notice. Also, being an American can be a metaphysical cloak which can be donned at a moments notice. To sum up: Being an American is completely meaningless in this country today, unless you need the help overseas. Meaningless, how sad. This country does not care that your ancestors died for this country in any war. They not only don’t care, but they in fact hope that nobody in your family has ever shed one spot of blood for this country. Indeed, at this point in time, an immigrant who just set foot in this country, who does not speak a word of English, is considered to be a more valuable citizen of the US than any White who lives in this country today. How in hell did we allow this to happen? I’m old enough to remember ancestor contests with people: When did your people get here? Well mine got here earlier. We kids argued the merits of being a Catholic or a Protestant! Martin Luther was a heretic! Nuh uh, he protested the criminal tendencies of the Catholic church. Seriously? Indulgences? You know what? We had heated arguments, but, the bottom line was this: We were all White people from different ethnic backgrounds, we were a neighborhood, we had each others backs. We were Christians, we were Poles, Germans, English, Italians. It worked because we all believed in Christ as our savior. We all believed that the United(for now) States of America, was the greatest country ever in the history of the world! We came from oppressive European backgrounds, we fought our way out of the monarchies., and being a member of the peasant class. We fought hard to get here. Many of our European brothers and sisters died trying to get here. And, now? What do we have? People who have snuck into this country. People who have overstayed their visas, who come in on planes. These illegal immigrants can claim all kinds of benefits. My lawful ancestors were entirely dependent on their own brains and resources. They fought their way into the middle class. The illegal immigrants just get a pass? They are just allowed to settle in and take advantage of in-state tuition? My ancestors fought to go to school. My ancestors, all of them, could barely find the time to go to school. They were needed at home to work on the farm. I am so offended by the concept of “White Privilege” that I am about to burst. White Privilege? White Privilege? Are you fing kidding me? I want to warn you, I am really going to go on a rant. This broad who talked about a backpack of white privilege? She was speaking from an elitist White viewpoint. These people really don’t get it. The majority of Whites in America had nothing to do with slavery, they garnered no money from it. The Whites I know, worked their asses off to succeed in this country , a country that absolutely had no safety nets at all. What percentage of the White Americans living today are recipients of any moneys garnered by slavery? I would posit that the majority of Whites in this country emigrated here after the abolition of slavery. So, why are the Whites who now live in the US being forced to suffer in any way, shape or form for slavery that existed before their ancestors ever even arrived on these shores? I’ll answer that question. Because who else could be made to pay? Canadians? Australians? Irishman? No. The only Whites who could be “logically ” made to pay are the Whites who currently inhabit the US. You want to talk about racism! This is it in a nutshell. We Whites are discriminated against, we Whites who did not benefit from slavery. We Whites who did not benefit from welfare(it did not exist when our ancestors came over), we Whites have worked our butts off, and what have we gotten in return? Accusations of racism! Accusations of being slaveholders! GIVE ME A BREAK! You Negroes are seriously on my last nerve. Get a grip. My forefathers did. What the hell happened to yours? Oh, I know, racism. True now. True in 3013. It will never matter how much time passes. You will always be losers. Because, genetically, you are just not that bright. Please, you Africans who had the fortune to be brought over as slaves, have done well; those of you who have a preponderance of White DNA have done extremely well. Let’s face it, what with Affirmative Action, if you have have even a smidgen of inteligence, you are promoted. It is why this country doesn’t work all that well anymore. This is why this country is being sunk down to the lowest common denominator: Stupidity. You are already seeing the effects of Whites being discriminated against. Keep it up. You elites have nobody who actually knows how to do anything. All you have are community activists. Good luck with those completely worthless human beings! Do you not understand that any low I.Q idiot can be a community activist? Even those evil Blacks who run South Africa, only want White pilots and airline mechanics. I am truly sick of people who run “non-profits”, where the hell do their salaries come from? From the non profits they make? Excuse me? What the hell are they talking about? I hate non profits, and the people who work for them. When, in this society did making a profit, become a crime? Oh, and by the way, the non-profits get their money from profit companies! So, how on earth did “not for profit” become almost holy in our society? I hate anyone who says they are not for profit. It’s a lie. Everything is for profit. Everything. All charities are for profit. The Red Cross is for profit. Nobody works for nothing. Nobody. Even if you volunteer your time, you can deduct your mileage from your taxes. I bring this up to say to you, felllow Amrenners, DO NOT VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME UNLESS IT IS FOR WHITE PEOPLE!

    • kjh64

“we Whites who did not benefit from slavery”

Not only did we Whites not benefit from slavery, we have lost so much and spent so much because of slavery in the distant past. Imagine if America had never had slavery, how much better off we’d be? We would have saved and would still be saving BILLIONS of dollars. Plus, we’d have much lower crime rates. If we combine this with not having allowed mass migration from Mexico, our crime rates would be at European levels.

      • WR_the_realist

Those of our ancestors who were too lazy to pick their own cotton and imported black slaves have a lot to answer for. To us whites, who are worse off as a result, not to blacks, who are better off as a result.

        • Jesse James

These ancestors are no different than the “lazy” modern Americans who import Latins to mow their lawns, build their houses, cook their food, clean their houses and look after their children. Look at the people hired by contractors to do work at your home and place of business. If they are not Americans then you are part of the problem.

        • Ella

My ancestors lived in non-slave States and never owned or seen a slave. They were coal miners and farmers who had a handful of mouths to feed and raise. Look at the pain non-Whites have caused our families who never broke the law or at least, served time if they did. We are not lazy modern Americans due to no coddling and enabling the weak over the last 80 years.

There are some great posts here regarding the amazingly outrageous lack of corrective and decent responses from the federal government. The murderer continues to be rewarded, he continues to get press time for his comments, he gets his horrendous crime labeled as a “workplace shooting”, and most shocking, he continues to get paid while his victims are denied just compensation.

But the outrage is even greater by the lack of any congressman or woman working to straighten this out, to correct the insanity. Where are the voices for the victims in congress? Do they agree with the current and pathetically sick disregard for our own people? Their silence is the second tragedy here.

    • sbuffalonative

The fatal law of western man is that he’s all to willing to seek an equitable solution. Too many believe we can find a way to live peacefully while they are are planning to slit our throats.

This guy has already spoken for his people: Muslims should not “compromise their beliefs” for the sake of non-Muslims.

There is no compromise with Muslims. Only submission or death.

Think how many of us could be fired from our jobs or disciplined for comments like those found just on this thread. Then think about how almost four years later Nidal Hasan is still being paid. Then think about who the US government and the globalist corporations really consider to be criminals worthy of suppression…

  • Dale McNamee

And the US Army has been giving him pay since his attack… The Army should stop paying him and “clawback” the money !
Since he renounced his citizenship, he should be stripped of it officially and sent to Gitmo and tried by a military tribunal as an enemy combatant…
