The Original Cuckservative Is at It Again

Erick Erickson is the original “cuckservative,” the man who inadvertently popularized the term. He understood the expression so poorly he said it was an “anti-Christian” slur. Once a Never Trumper, he’s since said he will vote to re-elect the President because Democrats are “increasingly hostile to religion and now [apply] religious tests to blocking judicial nominees.” They also believe “children can be murdered at birth.”
Mr. Erickson still doesn’t understand why people support Donald Trump. Georgia governor Brian Kemp is about to decide whether to admit “refugees” for resettlement and Mr. Erickson is all for it.

Governor Kemp narrowly defeated Democrat Stacey Abrams in an election that was little more than a racial headcount. The “Abrams Playbook” calls for Democrats to take advantage of Georgia’s demography, which is “changing rapidly.” “In Georgia, as in other states,” the plan reads, “race is often the strongest predictor of political leanings.” Miss Abrams narrowly lost (though she won’t admit it), and notes that “the trends are unmistakable.” Her strategy is to overwhelm conservative white Georgians with waves of non-whites, including many immigrants.
“Refugees” are just another column of auxiliaries in this replacement of natives. Representative Ilhan Omar is a former “refugee,” but she’s not grateful to America. Instead, she says, “America is not going to be the country of white men,” and urges more “profiling, monitoring, and creating policies to fight the radicalization of white men.”
Erick Erickson is a strong critic. He says Rep. Omar is part of the “blame America first” crowd. He’s offended that a former refugee uses “her bully pulpit to repeatedly bad-mouth the nation that gave her a fresh start.” He says she uses “anti-Semitic tropes” and claims “she actively supports and defends organizations that train up children to kill Jews.” He also circulated allegations that she’s an “adulteress home wrecker.”
Yet Mr. Erickson is supporting a program that could produce Georgia’s own Ilhan Omar. Assuming these refugees are non-white, they will certainly help turn Georgia into a permanent blue state.

If Mr. Erickson truly believes the Democrats are “murdering children,” he’s spineless. Such evil would warrant furious action and any tactic to stop it. Yet Mr. Erickson calmly advocates policies that will prevent Republicans from ever winning Georgia again. Virginia shows what happens once Democrats use demographic change to conquer a once “red state.” Does Mr. Erickson really want to prevent this? Does he believe his own fire-and-brimstone rhetoric, or does he just want to be on TV?
Mr. Erickson has said that non-white Christian refugees are preferable to “socialist” white immigrants. I propose a compromise. South African Jason Bartlett is walking from Austin, Texas, all the way to the White House to protest the murder of Christian South African farmers. The South African government discriminates against white Christians, can’t (or won’t) protect them, and permits open threats against whites. What if Georgia admitted these Christian refugees? What do you say Mr. Erickson?
