Our “justice” system is fatally broken.

After a slap on the wrist, the black murderer of a white child has been released by Kentucky. He was let go because he was too mentally incompetent to be punished fully, but evidently not enough to earn education credits and early release. The justice system is fatally broken and two things are needed: greater use of the death penalty and greater punishment, especially for those with mental problems. There is nothing “sacred” about the lives of murderers and empathy for them is a cover for sadism against victims.
