Illegal Migrants Busted on California Beach by Officer After Jet Skis Drop Them Off

A wild moment captured on video showed suspected people smugglers drop a group of migrants off on a California beach using jet skis.
Footage showed two vessels speeding towards the coastline at Imperial Beach in San Diego County with two passengers in tow on Saturday morning.
They then dump off the pair who struggle to wade past the large waves before turning around and racing back into the open ocean. In an astonishing twist, a lone law enforcement officer is suddenly spotted speeding down the beach on an ATV.
The officer pulls up to one of the suspected migrants just as they leave the water while desperately trying to run away. The panicking illegal falls over before the agent hops off his vehicle and jumps on top of them, pinning them to the sand.
“Two Mexican nationals crossed illegally via jet ski at Imperial Beach. Our Border Patrol agents were on scene and arrested them before they could make it any further inland. They now face felony charges for 8 USC 1326 illegal re-entry,” US Border Patrol Chief Patrol Agent Justin De La Torre wrote on Instagram.
“Smugglers don’t care who they bring in or the threat they pose to our local communities. Both illegal aliens have significant criminal history and were caught less than a mile from local schools,” he added.
