Six men charged with helping an alleged killer flee the country after he stabbed a young father to death have appeared in court.

Blue Stevens, 24, was knifed in front of his girlfriend outside the five star Park Tower Hotel and Casino, near Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge on July 9 last year.

Murder suspect Yousef Razak, 25, left Britain in the aftermath of the attack, which police believe was targeted. A warrant is out for Razak’s arrest.

Nicholas McCoy, 22, Jayden Clement-Bryan, 24, Mozahedul Alam, 26, his brother Shafwan Meah, 20, Ali Hindawi, 24, and his brother Adan Hindawi, 25, are charged with committing acts with intent to pervert the course of justice.

McCoy, Celment-Bryan, Alam, and Adan Hindawi, are charged with assisting in the burning of a vehicle used in the alleged murder.

Alam is also accused alongside Meah of organising for a ferry to be booked for Razak.

Adan Hindawi is accused of providing Razak with a vehicle to leave the country.

And Ali Hindawi is accused of giving Razak his passport to assist him in leaving the country.

The six men appeared at the Old Bailey today and spoke to confirm their names and dates of birth.

Judge Mark Lucraft, KC, the Recorder of London, adjourned the plea and trial preparation hearing until April 17 and set a provisional five week trial date for November 9.
