Shoplifters Ambush San Francisco Neiman Marcus

Police in San Francisco are searching for multiple suspects after they were caught in a viral video running out of a Neiman Marcus store with “several tens of thousands of dollars” worth of stolen items and fleeing in getaway cars.

“Officers arrived on scene and met with the victim who stated that multiple suspects entered the store, grabbed merchandise and fled the scene in multiple vehicles,” said Michael Andraychak, a police spokesman. “During the incident the suspects damaged glass cases and other store property. … {snip}”
SFPD confirms this shoplifting incident at Neiman Marcus in Union Square at about 5:49 pm.

In Palo Alto alone, over $100,000 in handbags have been stolen from another Neiman Marcus location as well as a Louis Vuitton store in nearly identical incidents, according to NBC Bay Area.
