Dean of Williams College Mourns the Ferguson Grand Jury Decision

Sarah Bolton, Williams College, November 25, 2014

Dear Students,

Tonight the grand jury announced that there would be no indictment in the killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO.  No one will be held legally responsible for his death, and yet he was killed, and terribly so. Tonight communities across the country stand together in solidarity, seeking justice and an end to racism, so that all people can be safe from harm in their communities.

I write tonight in support of all who are thinking of Ferguson and of Michael Brown’s family, whether in gatherings or alone. And, I write in hope that all in the Williams community will continue to work to end racism in all of its forms–with all that we have.

Dean Bolton

“Campus will “continue to work to end racism in all of its forms.”

With the exception of racism against Whites which is endorsed and encouraged.

  • superlloyd

This is surely outwith her mandate as a Dean. Politicizing her post should get her fired. Let me guess this is a wimmenz liberal arts college far away from the urban, feral undertow with predominantly white, middle class student base.

    • phorning

It’s in a smaller town in Massachusetts. Go read the school’s Wikipedia page and read the history. Founded by a bequest from Colonel Ephraim Williams after he was killed in the French and Indian War. Just one more example of why you should never give money to a college.

  • DaveMed

I challenge any and all anti-Whites to explain how race had anything to do with the altercation between Brown and Wilson.

    • Georgia Boy

I don’t. You might as well tell them, I want you to focus all your bitterness on me and give me a big long lecture about my white privilege. No sense reasoning with those who are willfully irrational.

      • DaveMed

I wanted to post on their site, but the link just leads to a faculty page.

  • Pax Romana

Campus will “continue to work to end racism in all of its forms.”

Which has the very same meaning as Henry Ford’s old quote, except the Liberal version: “We will continue to work to end racism in all of its forms,….so long as it’s “White”.

  • dd121

These libs don’t seem to realize that the LAW grants police officers the right to use deadly force under certain circumstances. In this case those circumstances were met.

    • R L Buds

I think they know, but they think it’s wrong to defend against a black man. They seem to think that any black can kill any white and it’s ok because of slavery.

      • dd121

I am so sick of having slavery shoved down my throat. None of them alive today were ever slaves and none of us were ever slave holders.

  • ThatWhiteGuy

Leftists love the word “justice”, yet I am not sure they even know what it means.

    • R L Buds

They don’t seem to know the meanings of many words they use: tolerance (but only for the intolerable), racism (but never when it’s real racism), equality (as in some are more equal than others). They make me sick with their double-talk and meaningless drivel.

  • Alex Miller

FYI, Williams College is located in Williamstown, MA in a rural, lily white corner of the state. Demographics according to Wikipedia:
racial makeup of town 90.79% White, 2.72% Black or African American

In a town less than 3 percent black these people can certainly afford to stoke their egos via self righteous poppycock. What really should happen is all these “protesters” now being arrested in Ferguson should be let loose right in the middle of the campus of Williams College.

    • Cheri Rodriguez

Go to the original article and check out all the “Deans.” It’s pretty much all old(er), unattractive White females and blacks.

      • Gina Tingles

Oh, they’re not that unattractive- 5/10 to 6/10. Moonbat SJWs most likely though.

        • Brakedust

Obama needs to take note of that and relocate Section 8 housing in this fine community so they can ’embrace diversity’.

Let them see if this ‘enriches’ their lives….

    • MBlanc46

Thanks for that. I have some clients from Williams and their “scholarship” is consistent with Dean Bolton’s memo. Places like that are practically a different galaxy than most ordinary, working Americans inhabit.

  • JohnEngelman

Those who want to end racism should tell blacks to stop reinforcing it with their behavior and performance.

    • R L Buds

They insist that racism comes from the white man’s heart but they fail to see how it got there.

  • 4321realist

Anybody that has no more ability to logic than he does deserves to be washing cars, not holding down a job in an academic institution.

The intellect of so many of these people in academia is truly embarrassing.

  • Basketeddie

And how much daily interaction does this DWL and the student body of her college have with these people of darkness?

  • Tarczan

I understand a 75 IQ darkie ignoring the evidence, both forensic and witnesses, but how can an academic ignore the facts?

I not surprised, but I am always amazed.

    • silviosilver

I’m not surprised either. You’d think I’d be used to be used to leftist insanity by now (God knows it’s everywhere), and yet somehow I’m still staggered every time I come across these examples of total delusion. I understand she’s on an ideological mission in which telling fantastic lies is merely a job requirement, but it staggers me that these insaniacs can possibly imagine anything good can come out of their political program.

“No one will be held legally responsible for his death, and yet he was killed, and terribly so.” – Dean Bolton

Well, Dean Bolton, I would like to start the nominations with his mother and the baby daddy who didn’t see fit too instill any morality, dignity or respect into their son what-so-ever. Then I would like to nominate LBJ (may he roast in hell) for his Great Society that turned blacks into racist welfare junkies and Democratic voters.

    • Who Me?

LBJ didn’t turn blacks into anything they weren’t already. He just enabled them to indulge generation after generation further along the path they were already on, fed and housed them in comfort and let them learn to hate the ones who provide for them.

      • Luca

LBJ took a smoldering fire and poured a drum of gas on it. He created the firestorm from those burning embers.

    • Alexandra1973

St. Swisher Sweets was responsible for his own death, end of story.

  • Guest

No one will be held legally responsible for his death, and yet he was killed, and terribly so.</blockquote

And that's why no one will be held legally responsible, because his killing was not a crime; it was justice.

  • Usually Much Calmer

“No one will be held legally responsible for his death, and yet he was killed, and terribly so.” I hope I die as quickly as Michael Brown did.

There is a short story by Borges titled, “The Lottery of Babylon” which I cannot do justice to in summary as Borges is the consummate economist with images, ideas, and fancy. But it describes the descent of an ordered society into a narrow labrynthine world of terror and cruelty (as well as finer fates and those in between) as a result of its people’s insatiable appetite for aleatory and this weird scholastic concept of fairness.

There is probably nothing risky about Dean Bolton’s life, so he would be amused by someone’s head, anyone’s really, on a platter. He is Salome, restless in a cage of easy fortune.

    • Max

This self-important hag is wrong. Wilson WAS held “legally responsible”. No one doubts that officer Wilson was “responsible” for Brown’s death. Wilson’s firearm was “”death weapon” and this is not disputed by either side. These facts are not contested. Wilson however, is no longer suspected of a CRIMINAL homicide. It was by all accounts a JUSTIFIABLE homicide. The “responsible” party was examined under due process and no probable cause to bring criminal charges was found.
That ship has sailed just like the O.J. Simpson case. It is over and the law has decided. The “justice” that these morons are always ranting about HAS BEEN SERVED.

      • Usually Much Calmer

Thank you. I had assumed the dean was male. I visited the site to check. They have a dean just for students who are the fist in their families to graduate from college.

  • LIBERTYSINCURSION

“I write in hope that all in the Williams community will continue to work to end racism in all of its forms” – Except for the form that’s busy looting our businesses and burning our cities down, while assaulting and even murdering people right now as you claim your desire to “work to end racism in all of it’s forms”, for no other reason than the color of their skin. Mr. Bolton, Darrin Wilson WAS working to end racism the day he was forced to defend himself from the violent racist Michael “Killa Mike” Brown! It seems to me that you, and many others like you, are working only to encourage racism, not end it.

    • Max

“End racism” means “end white people” since white equates to racism.

  • Whitetrashgang

Suck a , yeah you know.

  • See The Future

In the interest of diversity she should do the honourable thing and resign and appoint a black women to lead the college. Similarly Anderson Cooper and Erin Burnett should resign in the name of diversity and CNN should replace them with a couple of blacks. It is the American way.

Who knew the Great Society would become the Grape Drank Society.

    This one is my favorite:

Meg Bossong – Director of Sexual Assault Prevention and Response

What exactly does Meg do to prevent sexual assault? And why would Meg mount a response, isn’t that the job of the police?

    • Gina Tingles

Actaully, I was wrong, this one is my favorite:

Rosanna Reyes – Associate Dean and Dean of First Generation Initiatives

I have no idea what a “First Generation Initiative” could be.

      • Tim

I would guess its packing the rafters with kids whose parents never went to College…

        • Max

Mine didn’t go to college but back when I went, nobody gave a damn what my parents did or didn’t.

    • Max

Apparently, Meg only “directs” the response. Oh, and don’t use the word “mount” here.

  • MBlanc46

That ignorant Negroes spout this sort of drivel is no surprise. That the dean of an elite college does is bone-chillingly frightening.

  • Gina Tingles

    Fun facts about Williams College:

    2014-2015 Comprehensive Fees
    Tuition $48,030
    Room $6,460
    Board $6,300
Activities & Residential House Fees $280

A cool $61,070 for a year of higher education.

    “Sarah Bolton
Dean of the College, Professor of Physics”

Speaking of Physics….What happens when a 300lbs 6’4” criminal negro charges at a police officer he just assaulted..at 5mph and said officer uses a handgun that fires a projectile at 1,230 ft/s…??

    • Max

Well, if we take the simple case where they are in direct opposition, since p=mv and the momentum of the thug is 136kg x 2.24m/s or 304 kgm/s *and* the projectile’s momentum is: .01kg x 375m/s or 3.75 kgm/s, the entire mass (criminal + projectile assuming inelastic collision, no pass-through) continues toward the officer at 2.21 m/s or 4.94 Miles per Hour, albeit not in perfect operating condition.

Take the kids on a field trip to Detroit or Memphis or Ferguson or Chicago to a Negro area. It will be a great education.

  • Fr. John+

Meh. A woman in a position she doesn’t have the emotional stability for, babbling on in the name of a hyper-liberal [M]Assachusetts College, about their heresy of ‘Egalitarianism.’

Not worth a fingernail- as they say.

  • saxonsun

    Beautiful post.

  • ricpic

Tuition at Williams is 48K. That’s before room and board. So it’s the exclusively wealthy who send their kids to Williams. And they must know that they’re sending them to be indoctrinated into an incredibly rigid orthodoxy as to what is correct and what is incorrect thought. This fascinates me because you’d think those at the top would want their kids to be as limber as possible intellectually. Just the opposite prevails. Bodes very badly for our country’s future, in that these kids, many of them, move automatically into ruling class slots upon graduation. A rigid thoughtless ruling class spells guaranteed decline for its nation.

  • silviosilver

You know, I’d never given any thought to whether they are in fact thinking that far ahead. I had simply assumed they would. The implications of their not thinking that far ahead are something I’ll have to turn over in my mind.
