Immigrant Kids May Get Swifter Italy Citizenship

The Local, October 20, 2014

Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi has promised to make it easier for children born to foreigners in his country–a prime destination for immigrants making risky boat voyages from Africa–to get citizenship.

Renzi said legislation would be introduced by the end of this year, in an interview on Canal 5 television late on Sunday, the day after an anti-immigration demonstration in Milan that attracted tens of thousands of people.

The bill would open the way for children born in Italy to foreign parents to acquire citizenship, as long as they attended primary or secondary school.

More than four million foreigners, over half of them from other European nations, live legally in Italy, according to the state statistics agency.

Italy is one of the European countries with the lowest fertility rates, with only 1.6 births per couple, well below the 2.1 needed to keep the population level steady.

In an enticement aimed at boosting the birthrate, Renzi also promised an €80 a month payout per newborn baby to households with annualincomes under €90,000.

The measure would be valid for three years.

Renzi also suggested a bill was on the way to allow civil unions between homosexuals, as permitted in Germany and France, but stopping short of gay marriages, which most Italians oppose.

If Italy is so concerned about its birthrate, you’d think they could do better than encourage the dregs of the globe to procreate within its borders. It’s too bad that a country that has contributed so much to Western Civilization is travelling down such an obvious road to ruin.

      thank you Mary

    • M.

Well, the overwhelming majority of citizens are still native Italians, so it’s native Italians who will benefit the most from these benefits.

The disconnect between national and international elites in the West and the people has grown to astonishing levels. Contrast it with countries like Japan and South Korea, that take a dim view of foreign invaders.

We are handing the world over to the Chinese

      • Adolf Verloc

Indeed. The Chinese would laugh themselves silly if you told them that they had a moral obligation to take in “refugees” or that their society would be better with more diversity.

      • SentryattheGate

More like the Indians–they will soon outnumber the Chinese. The Chinese one-child policy has leveled off their population.

      • mobilebay

Ah, so…I thought it was the M&Ms (Mexicans and Muslims).

Northern Italy wants to secede and form their own nation–is this immigration a major reason why?

      • Sick of it

Lega Nord can be considered one massive protest against immigration.

  • Truthseeker

Could it be any clearer that the leaders of our nations don’t care about their people, only looking good to their liberal ruling class peers?

It would be better if incentives were made to those Italians and other white Europeans earning more than 90,000 euros a year then the effect would be eugenic and not dysgenic.

    • Adolf Verloc

If the 80 euros a month applies to their new guests, they’ll have a bunch of folks popping out a baby a year for thirty years. That’ll solve the population problem, all right.

These politicians have lost all fear of the people and act against their people without a moment of hesitation. Revolution may be the only answer.

America is lost, but I trust that Europeans who have a stronger ethnic and national identity (and a longer lineage of both) will fight back once it becomes boldly apparent that their ethnic identity is about to be lost forever on their watch. Sadly, it still may take greater numbers and agitation from the immigrants to push Europeans to the brink of retaliation.

    • phillyguy

we all know that the Europeans will be the first ones to make a stand ,wait till they get some nationalist leader like they did in the 1920’s, mark my words it’ll happen there before it happens here.

    • Sick of it

That would be nice, but Socialism/Communism is more widely accepted there than here. Eastern Europe maybe.

Eastern Europe especially and Southern Europe (Italy and Greece) seems to be fighting off this invasion harder, next up would be France, followed by the UK, then Germany, then Norway, then Sweden. At least Europe is taking a stronger stand that we are. We’re just sitting here whining, complaining and waiting for elections and more traitorous political figures

        • Sick of it

I don’t just whine and complain. Try running for office. Try to get the corrupt politicians removed from office. Expose the crimes of the elite. Activism is not only for liberals.

  • IstvanIN

Incredibly sick. All those Afreakans will make great Italians. Can not wait until they are in charge of maintaining all those Roman landmarks.

    • George Costanza

Yes…then there will be blood… rivers of blood

  • Julius Caesar

I think it’s about time Italy had some Augustan Social Reforms.

  • Italy needs a new Mussolini. And Italians need to be paying those Afreankens their monthly benefits in BANANAS!

  • italian guy

The Italian political class simply hate its own citizens, there is nothing more to add at this point.

    • Sick of it

Some members of said class share ethnic roots with similar people in every western nation as well as the desire to flood the West with the third world.

Oh, you mean the ‘finns’? wink wink

  • Jeff Traube

Government derives its just powers from consent of the governed. Secede, Northern League !!

  • George Costanza

Matteo Renzi is part of the Democratic Party

“Partito Democratico” which he said tries to emulate the American democratic party, but it’s no coincidence that he announced this plan after the massive anti immigration rally.

The PD is trying to do as much damage as possible before they lose power, and I’ve read recently that their membership is dropping…

  • KenelmDigby

The Italians have proved themselves to be just as dumb as the English, the Swedes and the French, to name but a few examples.
Many commenters here have expressed the sentiment that somehow the Italians are a tougher, more ruthless, more hard headed, more sensible etc people than northern Europeans, who to them appear to be soft in the head.
Sadly, all those commenters are sadly deluded.

On another note, the correlation between EU membership, and eventual black/brown takeover of a nation is just too strong to be ignored.

  • Avi Marranazo

Can AmRen at least put “quotes” around the word “immigrants” in republishing these stories? I get so tired of hearing and seeing alien invaders referred to in any way besides truthfully.

I hope all of Europe starts by executing these traitors who opened their countries up to the third world.

Just like they are prosecuting Golden Dawn, then Hungary by arresting Richard Spencer, then flooding Sweden with more nonwhites and more ‘hate speech’ laws after the SVP (Swedish national party) won 13% of the seats. Europe will win, but it won’t be without a fight. the anti-white machine is falling apart, but they are making as strong of a grip on us as they can. I suspect in the near future they will lose and you will see these anti-white traitors meet the same fate that dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu eventually did. (They stormed his mansion and shot him and his wife on Christmas 1989)
