Australia Closes Door on Ebola-Affected Nations

News, October 27, 2014

Australia has temporarily closed the door to people seeking humanitarian entry from Ebola-affected west African countries.

Immigration Minister Scott Morrison’s department is no longer processing any applications from the affected countries, which include Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea.

The government is also cancelling and refusing non-permanent or temporary visas held by people from Ebola-affected countries who haven’t yet departed for Australia.

Permanent visa holders from these countries who have yet to arrive in Australia are being required to submit to a 21-day quarantine period before departure.

Nineteen people from four west African families are currently in home isolation in Queensland after travelling to the state under a humanitarian program earlier this month.

One of them, an 18-year-old woman, came down with a fever, but tested negative to Ebola on Monday and will be retested on Wednesday.

New checks at airports have to date identified 830 people entering from west Africa who could have been in Ebola areas, but none has been to a hospital since their arrival.

“The government’s systems and processes are working to protect Australians,” Mr Morrison told parliament on Monday.

It took about sixty days longer than it should have, but good for the Australians. Too bad the U.S. government won’t follow suit.

    • Sick of it

You mean the Israeli government in America? Usually called ZOG.

  • AmericanCitizen

Let me guess: The Australian Prime Minister is not a Kenyan hell-bent on destroying his country from within and doing anything possible to harm his own citizens in the name of diversity, political correctness, and multiculturalism.

    • James Quisling

The ruling party here – the LNP – are strict on illegal immigration, but that is not to say we are not being swarmed.

  • superlloyd

White countries haven’t completely lost their collective brains and balls.

    • WR_the_realist

As late as the 1950s Australia had a whites-only immigration policy. Unfortunately they’ve since gone all multicultural, like all western nations. If only they’d have kept that policy I’d move there like a shot.

    • MannyR

Yes they have. This is one small quasi victory in a war full of failures and defeats again and again for white Christian civilization.

      • James Quisling

Christianity is Jewish and humanist by nature. We need to look further back. We are heathens and pagans and secular.

        • none of your business

Neo paganism is fine as a religion or pastime or whatever but it is no solution to our problems. The problem is that there really is no pro White movement. We are mixed in with the conservative movement which is a useless mix of Christians, cannibal capitalists who would reduce all workers to less than minimum wage, Zionists both Christian and Jewish, anti abortion anti gay crusaders, family values and worst of all, pro American patriots.

          • James Quisling

I wouldn’t disagree. As you said, there is no focus. We’re splintered where we should be joined. The question is why. To me, we’ve been uprooted from the deepest common bond. Not neo-paganism, but heathenism, is that common bond. It’s not a pastime, it is millennia of blood.

Don’t worry – NoBama will let them all come here.

Four governors have had to issue policies on Ebola exposed health care workers because Obama is silent on the matter. Now the governors are getting flak because one of the nurses doesn’t like being quarantined and thinks the Ebola response should be all about her.
As usual, Obama is “leading” from the rear. Has he ever stepped in front of a national issue and taken charge? No.

    • Sick of it

“As usual, Obama is “leading” from the rear. ”

There are any number of jokes that one could make in response.

Yes, our Governor here in Georgia, Nathan Deal, is one of those governors, who today @ 4:30 p.m. announced during a press conference, the ban on travelers from Ebola-affected African countries.

What a way to steal the show right at the 5 p.m , rush hour news hour. Great political strategy there, Governor Deal. Make the news and make the Ebola tavel ban THE headline that takes up the first 15 minutes of a news broadcast.

Running very close in the polls with Democrat Jason Carter, expect the next polls showing Governor Deal building an insurmountable lead. At this stage of the game it’s time for Republicans to fan the flames of fear and division over Ebola, open borders, illegal aliens and lawlessness for political gain.

    • The floon in NY is convinced that the ability to spread a disease that is 70% fatal is a “human right”. If I were a New York DA, I’d charge her with “reckless endangerment”, and if I were a US federal prosecutor, I’d seek indictment for “possession of a weapon of mass destruction”.

      • dd121

There was no reason to politicize a disease that is 70% fatal but the Dems just couldn’t resist.

  • IstvanIN

It is a start, I suppose, but I am still not hopeful.

    • Samuel Hathaway

Rest assured, probably only “window-dressing” till public pressure dies down. Watch what happens during the height of the holiday season or shortly after the start of the new year.

  • When the leader of your country is not the son of a Kenyan goat herder and a screwed up Communist, common sense happens. Kudos to Australia, but the question remains as to why you are accepting any of these darkies after they pass quarantine. Remind me. What do they contribute to your country other than ignorance, crime, and bankruptcy?

    • dd121

The Kenyan goat herder was a communist too, who wrote anti-west screeds. I’ve read some of them.

    • B.A_2014

You forgot rap music. Or do you like me consider the distribution of ni$$er noise a crime against humsnity?

    • none of your business

The Father was not the Kenyan. He was Frank Marshall Davis an American black communist who was the head of the communist party of Hawaii and best friend of communist Grandpa Dunham. who made sure Barack saw Davis for indoctrination sessions several times a week.

      • me

Thank you. The truth may never be known about this token Negro Zio-sock puppet.

      • Without a DNA test we’ll never know for sure, but I suspect you’re right about Davis being the father. I use the “son of a Kenyan goat herder” as a metaphor for black ways of thinking. Since Obama claims old Barack, Sr. as dad, the metaphor works as both an insult and a comment on black’s lack of smarts and primitive nature.

  • obot

    Make it permanent

  • Samuel Hathaway

As one who now totally distrusts what any government says during a time of crisis, this ban on visas from Ebola-affected African nations is probably only temporary due to public outcry.

The ban will soon be reversed, perhaps early next year, sometime in the night when Austrailians are getting back to normal after the busy holiday season.

  • mobilebay

Good on you, Australia! Wish you set policy here. Seems our government is open to those from the Ebola infested countries, and if you don’t want to be confined for 21 days, then by all means go out and possibly infect all you meet.

  • none of your business

Yesterday, Monday 10/27 the UN chastised American states that have quarantined people with ebola symptoms. The medical professions seems to be getting behind providers coming back from ebola countries claiming they should not be quarantined and go about their business.
Obama is right now on TV news talking about ebola. His point is who cares about protecting Americans, we must send providers and money to Africa to help Africans. I can’t stand it.

    • me

I wish that the disease only affected Zio-globalists, communist/socialists/liberals, anti-Whites, and other scum. That would be wonderful.

  • Cid Campeador

    Australia,
Close your doors on ANYTHING that comes from Africa or the Middle East. They contribute NOTHING but death and gang rape not of their women but YOURS!
Deport the ones that are already there. They will eventually overwhelm and kill you.
WIth the exception of the wild life, nothing good comes from Africa.
