A Georgia teen was so enraged that his grandmother wouldn’t take him to buy cigarettes he beat her to death with a baseball bat, said police.

JeNorman Bland, 18, of Butts County, has been charged with murder, false imprisonment, kidnapping, and armed robbery in connection to the death of his grandmother.

JeNorman Bland

JeNorman Bland

His grandmother’s name has yet to be released.

According to authorities, Bland told police that he had gone to see his grandmother to ask for a ride to the store.

However she was already preparing to go to work.

This so enraged Bland that he went outside, got a baseball bat, then went back into the house to start chasing and hitting her.

‘She was struck multiple times with a baseball bat,’ Butts County Sheriff Gray Long said in an interview with local radio, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

After beating her, he stole her car.

He was eventually arrested by Griffin police.

‘He confessed to the murder,’ said Long.

Who would have ever dreamed that a young man named JeNorman would run afoul of the law?

      He’s no L’Genius Wisdom…

        Ha!

          Should I have given credit?

Thanks, but I think L’Genius’s mother deserves the “credit” for this. Truly, the gift that keeps on giving.

If I prefixed my user name with a “De” and put an apostrophe in between the prefix and my user name, would I be “down with the struggle too”?

A true story. Our firm did some work for a client who rejoiced in the name of Mr de’Ath. It was his real, English, proper, born surname and he was a pleasant, mild-mannered bloke. You pronounce it with emphasis on the Ath bit.

Anything they can do, we can do better, we can do anything hundreds of years earlier and that includes surnames better than them.

      • JackKrak

You need to work the ghetto-meets-Roman-emperor angle :

        D’Mekongarious, D’Mekongtavious, D’Mekongasian, D’Mekongtimius, ect.

Wait, doesn’t one of them play for the Jets?

    • r j p

The more untraditional the name, the more likely it is a violent individual.

      • Young Werther

The correlation coefficent to that might be fun to work out.

    • A “young man”? No, no, no: “child”, a “baby” even! This unfortunate incident was clearly just a “cry for help”.
      /sarc

      • Tarczan

Actually it was a cry for a pack of smokes.

        • Young Werther

    • The question for today: does he have a sister named JeMima?

      ——————————————————————————————–
There you have it. That’s what put him over the edge. In his “highly-developed” African-American brain, going to work is secondary to any trip to the store for cigarettes, liquor or crack.

  • Puggg

    “JeNorman”

Whatever happened to just plain ole regular Norman? It was good enough for my parents when they chose a name for their one and only son.

    • foundingstockcracker

Regular ole Norman is for us. When I read or hear these perversions I know the reference is not to one of ours. Now if we could only get them to opt for gross perversions for surnames.

      • Puggg

I’ve heard people say that we ought to force ghetto blacks to give themselves normal civilized first names and make them pull up their pants. But if you know his name is JaNeurotictavious and he’s sagging his pants six inches below his waste, you know to avoid.

        • foundingstockcracker

Gives one the opportunity for a sure aim.

        • Yup.
Many have stated that sagging pants is a great “scumbag detector”. You can’t be mistaken for a decent human being when you dress like that.

      • My mother’s dad was named Norman. It is 23 years later, and I sure miss him.

    • CaptainCroMag

I once met a Black woman with a son named Javari. I thought maybe his name was foreign in origin and asked her where his name came from. She told me proudly that she was at a store and saw a bottle of cologne called Javari and thought that would be a good name for her son. Her explanation went no deeper than that. I can’t say that I was surprised.

      • My daughter is Ariadne. I was working on a naval history article, and had left a reference book open on the dining room table to fix more coffee. My wife noticed it and read a little. Ariadne was a British Royal Navy light cruiser. Sayaka asked me what the name meant, and I explained that Ariadne was the wife of Theseus, the Greek hero who slew the minotaur.

Then she told me she was pregnant.

  • AndrewInterrupted

And, of course, who else would report such savagery
in Georgia, USA than the Daily Mail in London.

Why didn’t CNN or MSLSD pick it up? I can’t imagine.

    • Oil Can Harry

I sent amren the NY Daily News version of this story yesterday. It was a little better because it included a pic of the 61 year old grandmother.

      • foundingstockcracker

61! dat mak dis fambly mos ol mades.

        • AndrewInterrupted

I was thinking the same thing.

      • ncpride

So he did beat an old woman to death….no surprise there either. Blacks have no qualms over brutalizing elderly people. We’ve seen enough of those stories over the years to know that’s true.

        • 1stworlder

Not just any woman but his own grandmother for not buying stuff. Talk about low IQ and future orientation. The goose that laid the golden egg is to complicated for any black.

    • William_JD

      LOL!!!!!!!!

  • Why couldn’t the 18-year old (legal adult) go to the store himself and buy his own cigarettes?

I bet he expected his grammammy to buy him the cigarettes, too.

Because…brother’s keeper. Or, something like that.

And also…he’s now on the quickie mart to prison pipeline.

    • Irishgirl

And did you notice that the grandmother couldn’t take him to the store because she was going to work? JeNorman probably didn’t know what the word “work” meant.

    • A better question is why he couldn’t just walk next door and score some dope.

  • ncpride

Sounds awful….beating a grandmother to death, but why do I have a feeling this woman was probably still in her 30’s?

    • Shawn_thefemale

      surprisingly she was 61

          • I don’t want to see that. My sergeant knew I would always do everything he wanted. I always did it with no questions, but I never raped women or girls, nor allowed anyone under my command to do so. I always shot my own officers for rape. Finally, everyone was scared of me. That was not what I wanted.

Her mistake was taking care of this souless, evil, bag of decomp…

Her picture is up above. She looks very young for a g’Mom and is a well dressed, respectable looking lady. RIP

  • Fed Up

Fine people, these Black Americans! Is it really genetic, I wonder. I mean how else can you explain the near-automatic Black propensity for crimes of violence. Not just here in America, but world-wide.

  • Looking into those soulless dead eyes, JeNorman is seen to be another black zombie, like so many of those pictured on Amren. Without care or conscience, they live only for themselves and their immediate gratification. Life in prison is good for this type, which is why I support the death penalty at every opportunity. Death to the black zombie hoards (legally, of course).

    • IstvanIN

Comparing African-Americans to Zombie-Americans is insulting and mean!

      • They prefer to be called Undead-Americans now. Moreover “dead” is such a biased term. They’re “metaphysically-challenged”. It’s a disability.

        • IstvanIN

Undead, Zombie or Metaphysically-challenged, whatever name is now correct it is still cruel to put them in the same category as African-Americans. They have received enough bad press.

          • I am an elitist in this respect; I get to be a Dead White Male someday.

          • Cid Campeador

Let’s hope that it’s many years from now. We need you; especially if you can shoot straight. There will be so much chaos and disorder, that no one will be enforcing gun control.

Don’t know about all the other states, but here in Washington all jails and prisons are smoke-free. (So is just about anywhere else in public, including bars.) Glad I quit a few years ago. Anyway this dude couldn’t wait for granny to get dressed to have a smoke, he’s really gonna have a tough time in the prison system.

    • When I was inside the feds, tobacco products were sold by the commissary, but they ended that a year or so after my release, so maybe late 2004 or early 2005.

    • Einsatzgrenadier

As long as no whites are harmed, I couldn’t care less about what blacks do in their spare time.

    • BillMillerTime

I suppose that those of us who have grown up around and gone to school with Negroes aren’t really surprised by this article. On the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory, blacks on average tend to score higher on scales indicating a proclivity for psychopathology. White people who didn’t grow up around Negroes and who have little contact with them need to be reminded of their significantly higher proclivity for violence.

That guy looks dark enough that I doubt that his grandmother was a “typical white person”. Grandma won’t give me a cig so I think I’ll kill her. Negro logic.

    • He wasn’t even bright enough to ask if she could drop him off at a store on her way to work. Sure, he’d have had to walk back home, but how cold can the daytime weather be in Georgia this time of year? 60 or 65 F?

  • Guest

    JesusChrist what a freakingJabronie

  • MBlanc46

Can you say “diminished impulse control”?

  • NorthernWind

Beating his grandmother to death with a bat was *clearly* the most reasonable thing to do.

Ugh. If he lacks the self-control to stop himself from killing his own grandmother, how can we expect him not to kill anyone else or rape a White woman walking down the street just for feeling attracted? On this ground he should receive the death penalty.

    • JeNorman is one of the perps that Eric Holder thinks should be allowed to not only vote but also work at a nursing home after his eventual release.

The press will not release the grandmother’s identity, and the home is located in an middle class suburban area. I am assuming the grandmother is white.

        Hello There~~

Wrong thread but, Michelle Pfeiffer indeed did a wonderful job as the Cat Woman. She looked very glamorous. Penguin played by Danny DeVito also did a marvellous job. Costume wise, Michelle’s CatWoman is superior to Anne’s CatWoman. Anne’s CatWoman more looks like a Disney heroine with her hair and most of her face shown and her skin looks too healthy and normal in the latest Batman

  • Geo1metric

    “(and reptiles too)”

As a mammal, I consider reptiles to be my natural enemy, among other things of course.

    • One should take reptiles – even snakes – in stride. Rodents spread things like plague and hantavirus, and snakes help keep their population in check.

      • Geo1metric

Agree. I simply have a natural aversion to reptiles. My initial instinct is to kill them.

        • My last encounter with a rattlesnake was one I never saw. Sayaka and my mother and I were hiking south of Boulder. It was somewhere in the grass nearby, and gave us its nice rattle warning. We obeyed without hesitation or question; we turned around and walked right back to the car. I turned from a safe distance and hoped to see it, but had no luck.

The biggest one I saw was stretched across a trail in Arizona. It was about as thick as my wife’s waist. Sayaka assumed it was a large constrictor someone had released. When it moved I could see the rattle. Seeing a rattlesnake that big made me feel a little funny inside, like seeing a spider the size of a puppy. We got the heck out of there, too.

    Wrong hoodrat!

  • Shawn_thefemale

Young JaNorman, of the Big Lip Tribe, wanted his grannie to take him to the store to get him a cigar, (he’s 15, remember). When she refused, the little sweetheart grabbed an aluminum baseball bat from the garage and beat his beloved grannie to death.
Being that we live 50 miles away, yet still in the Atlanta viewing area, after the nightly local news intro, before the first word of a story, every night hubby and I ask, “How many juggernauts (or something to that effect) did they get last night?” This was the first of several blacks killing/injuring crime that night. I think that night they racked up 3.

    • He was 18, but if he wanted cigars, I know it would be the kind with plastic tips. The trick they use is to dump all the tobacco out of them, mix that with marijuana, repack the cigar with the mixture – these are stiffened inside with light cardboard, so this is easy – and give it a light coating of honey on the outside.

The honey helps it burn hotter so the the marijuana gets into one’s system faster.

He probably wanted Black & Mild cigars. When I smoked in federal prison, I thought the pipe tobacco in those was pretty reasonable.

  • Magician

I am sure more than 95% of all mainstream media will not even mention this crime but, if they do, what will the headline be?

Cigarette shopping gone wrong ( An adult male murders his own grandmother with a baseball bat and the mainstream media says “something went wrong” and heavily emphasizes it was related to “cigarette shopping”, and the “cigarette shopping”, which did not even happen, is a very big part of this crime )

A woman who was in the wrong place at the wrong time ( Well she was in her own house )

A Georgia teen involved in domestic violence ( emphasizes he is a TEEN and is from GEORGIA but nothing else is necessary for the public to know such as what he did or who he murdered or how the victim is related to the criminal or why he murdered her )

Let me see your creativity, fellow AmReners!
