For Real Scandals, Check Out the Obama Administration

John Hinderaker, Powerline Blog, January 11, 2014

It is ironic that just as Washington, D.C. and New York City–the two centers of cluelessness in American life–are convulsed with a mini-scandal involving lane closure on a bridge, two more major Obama administration scandals have come to light. The first is Obama’s nomination of Debo Adegbile to head the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. We might have guessed that Obama couldn’t do worse than Adegbile’s predecessor, Tom Perez, but we would have been wrong.

Adegbile is a race hustler who is best known as the mouthpiece for guilty-as-hell cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal. The “free Mumia” movement is one of the most disgraceful episodes in the history of modern leftism, and Debo Adegbile was not just a participant in, but a ringleader of that that contemptible cause. The Fraternal Order of Police has objected vigorously to Adegbile’s nomination:

As word of this nomination spreads through the law enforcement community, reactions range from anger to incredulity. Under this nominee’s leadership, the Legal Defense Fund (LDF) of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People volunteered their services to represent Wesley Cook, better known to the world as Mumia Abu-Jamal—our country’s most notorious cop-killer. There is no disputing that Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner was murdered by this thug. His just sentence–death–was undone by your nominee and others like him who turned the justice system on its head with unfounded and unproven allegations of racism. We are aware of the tried and true shield behind which activists of Adegbile’s ilk are wont to hide–that everyone is entitled to a defense; but surely you would agree that a defense should not be based on falsely disparaging and savaging the good name and reputation of a lifeless police officer. Certainly any legal scholar can see the injustice and absence of ethics in this cynical race-baiting approach to our legal system.

Actually, I think the police are barking up the wrong tree if they think Obama objects to race-baiting.

This nomination can be interpreted in only one way; it is a thumb in the eye of our nation’s law enforcement. It demonstrates a total lack of regard or empathy for those who strive to keep you and everyone else in our nation safe in your home and neighborhoods—sometimes giving their lives in the effort.

Another example of Obama diversity. Most white boyz in this country still vote for a weak and terrified Republican Party. The same GOP that is calling conservatives the true enemy.
More Debos (Deboes?) are on the way. Suck it up, white boy!

    • Pro_Whitey

The name sounds African, but the guy looks Indian. What’s his deal? A subcontinental playing both sides of the street, I betcha.

      • Brian

I noticed that too– his name is Nigerian, but he has a 7-11-ish look about him. Patelatto perhaps?

    • me

The globalists/socialist/anti-Whites are running the ‘government’ of this country, and Whites aren’t invited to the party. You have to be gay, a ‘minority’, an atheist, a feminist, or a traitor to your own race and gender to wield the blunt hammer of oppression and tyranny towards those who built this nation. The goal is genocide of the White races, period.

      • bopberrigan

Let’s see; the conservatives are under a frontal attack by Obama’s DOJ and his IRS. What’s left; a stealth attack by his civilian army??

      • bilderbuster

If McCarthy really knew what the score was he wouldn’t have had anything to do with Roy Cohn.

    • NeanderthalDNA

After the awakening there will be a reckoning. This guy is young enough to experience what it will be like. Remember his simpering face.

  • dd121

More Obama scandals coming to light? So why not stick with the old scandal of Obama using the machinery of the IRS to destroy his political enemies. Not a peep from the leftist press. He should have been impeached for that. What about Benghazi, Fast and Furious and a host of lesser crimes and malfeasance. PS I’m not a supporter of Christie but I would like to see at least a facade of fairness from the left.

    • Non Humans

Fairness is a fools expectation (No insult intended). To expect the libtards to be fair, or even civil, would be like expecting the nonhumans to be responsible.

      • dd121

“Fairness” was probably the wrong word and I’m not sure what the right one is. Maybe just decency. But that’s probably asking a lot from libs too.

  • Jesse James

How many more race hustling criminals will Obama place in power before the average joe wakes up and gets that Amerika is nothing but a game of racial spoils? Guys like Adegbile and Perez come and go but their relatively high profile limits the damage they can do. The real problem is that the Federal government if filled from top to bottom with similar radical leftist working away like termites destroying what little is left of our government’s foundational structure. I wonder how many whites are denied benefits or assistance that they would otherwise qualify for by the nameless and faceless brown hoards who fill the ranks of SSA, VA and all the other government agencies? Time to stop allowing them to pretend that we don’t realize that America no longer exists as a nation and there is no law except the ancient tooth and claw. W.B, Yates nailed it in his poem, “The Second Coming”:

“Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood dimmed tide is loosed and everywhere
    The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
    Are full of passionate intensity.”

Obama is clearly the first African style Big Man to rule Amerika. Every day some new lie, some new corruption, some new betrayal, some new illegal action. The worse the offense the quieter the press, the courts and the congress. I believe that he could get away with absolutely anything.

  • WR_the_realist

It doesn’t matter how many scandals occur under the Obama administration — the MSM will continue to stay silent, except when accusing his critics of racism.

    • bilderbuster

I say if you’re going to constantly be accused of being a racist then become one!

      • LACounty

If you’re White and haven’t been accused of being a racist, you’re not pulling your weight.

      • Greg Thomas

Under the circumstances, “racism” is the best option. I wasn’t born a racist, diversity made me that way.

        • bilderbuster

          “Diversity made me that way”.
I’m going to have to remember that one.

  • Truthseeker

The narrative of the black man being not only morally but functionally superior to the white man must be advanced at all costs, so pay no attention to the corruption, unfairness and downright genocidal behavior that’s right before your eyes.

  • bigone4u

The thought often crosses my mind that Obama is the “Manchurian candidate,” a deep mole created by the KGB in the 80s whose mission was to ascend to the highest levels of government to destroy the country from within. Increasingly, as i study history, I see that no revolution was ever implemented by the pen. It takes the sword. I suspect the day of the sword is approaching.

    • LACounty

Wonder what it will take. I mean at what point will Whites have had enough to where they take action? There obviously has to be some planning involved.
Spartacus turned me on to the Turner Diaries (audio). Listening right now.

    • joesphx

I have come to the same conclusion. Problem is enemy identification. In that role of revolutionist how are we to know our enemy as many of us are the enemy?

  • MekongDelta69

Debo Adegbile and Mumia Abu-Jamal – This is what’s considered two of our ‘finer’ ‘Americans’ under this black, muslim, marxist dictator and his leftist regime.

    • jeffaral

So many mistakes in just one phrase! Obama is not black, he’s mulatto: he’s not muslim, but christian; he might be marxist but his supporters, like Goldmann Sachs, are in Walt Street,

  • Spartacus

Secession is looking better and better, isn’t it ?

    • dd121

      Secede where?

      • Spartacus

The South and the North-west are the best places from where I’m standing .

        • joesphx

Too many negroes, Mexicans and other assorted third-worlders in the South. What is left is the NW and the enemy damn sure knows that and will get around to destroying that too.

          • Spartacus

Then you get rid of them. Remember – these are critters incapable of even feeding themselves, let alont waging a war against you .

  • Dave4088

No scandal or amount of scandals will ever bring down the mulatto in chief. He essentially has free reign to do whatever he pleases until November 2016 thanks to the left wing, lamestream media and spineless Republicans.

Most American whites are too demoralized and divided to do anything about it and the Republican party is perhaps the biggest collection of cowards and hucksters in this nation’s history.

    • IstvanIN

We just have a younger version of President Jacob Zuma.

    • They aren’t spineless. They’re active collaborators. Get it yet? They are controlled opposition, working for the same forces that drive the Left. They are the Left.

  • OhWow

Wonder what the left would say if Bush was still President and he hired a former KKK member for the Civil Rights for Whites coalition. Hmm…

I can’t believe this scummer Wesley Cook (Mumu- abu-??? ) survived thirty years in prison……..

    • MBlanc46

Apparently he’s treated like a prima donna.

      • WR_the_realist

NPR treated him like a celebrity.

        • Katherine McChesney

Actors Lou Asner and Mike Farrell believe he’s the ‘second coming’.

          • Fighting_Northern_Spirit

When leftist contributing editor of The Nation Marc Cooper suggested in 2002 that Mumia wasn’t a “good poster boy for the anti-death penalty movement” because he was “guilty as he11”, the rest of the left reacted as if he’d denied the divinity of Mohammed. Recently I discovered that there’s a quite good website put up by Daniel Faulkner’s widow that refutes the leftist myths about Mumia point by point.

          • texasoysterman

Yes, it’s an awesome website. His widow Maureen is a pillar of strength and she has devoted her life to keeping the memory of her husbands sacrifice alive. And keeping that scumbag Wesley Cook in prison. She never misses a parole hearing.
There is a long list of Hollywood libtard the usual s

Barack Hussein Obama is a communist. It would be incorrect to call him a traitor, as he is Kenyan by birth; the communist movement in America has done a very good job in hiding a lot of truths. He should be impeached, tried, and convicted for crimes against America, and then incarcerated along with his high maintenance savage of a wife.

How anyone couldn’t see Obama and his equally racist and hateful wife for what they were before the first election is beyond me. He even has a domestic terrorist as an advisor!

    • mobilebay

Speaking of Mrs. O, did she ever come home, or is she still living it up with Oprah in Hawaii…on our dime?

    • Bartek

      On the other hand….
The GOP ‘brilliantly’ nominates Juan McCain, who chooses not to mount a campaign because it wouldn’t have been fair to the Black (all of which turned out to be a blessing, just think of the damage an unopposed McCain could have wrought)
      2nd term….
Out of nowhere outsourcing Mitt ‘the gypsy’ Romney runs on a campaign of disdain for the White middle class (you know the people who pay taxes, actually work, and don’t have a personal full time accountant) Mitt promises to hand over Social Security to Wall Street, claims Romney Care is less of a rights violation because State government is violation your rights instead of the Feds, and promises to start a new senseless war in the Middle East. Mitt also endorses open borders, as long as the concept is made ‘legal’ Mittens also refuses to critize the nations #1 pimp daddy and gives him a pass on all issues, including Obama’s tireless race baiting (my son, looks like me, beer summit, Eric ‘my people’ Holder, etc.)

      • Brian

I hear you. Out of curiosity, who would you have had the GOP nominate instead of McCain and Romney? And would that person have actually been able to beat BHO?

        • model1911

Herman Cain would have made it interesting.

          • Brian

Interesting, yes. Don’t think he could have won though.

I would personally like to have None Of The Above as prez next time. That’s right, no president at all. What’s that you say? We can’t pass any laws, raise taxes, or invade anyone?

            Fine by me.

      • Greg Thomas

Juan McCain did in fact mount a campaign, it’s just that he was trying to appeal to mexico.

      • Fighting_Northern_Spirit

One of Romney’s talking points was knocking Obama for his lack of new free trade agreements with Latin America and Asia. Yeah, that’s just the sort of thing that will appeal to rust belt White working class voters, exposing them to more free trade with slave labor countries. Brilliant, Mittens!

  • Bon, From the Land of Babble

This idiot Debo Adegbile is a piece of work, cut from the same cloth as Holder, William Kunstler, Ron Kuby, Lynne Stewart and the National Lawyers Guild — an anti-White, anti-American racist to his rotten core!

What are the chances of cop killer Mumia — who should have been FRIED in the 80s — being pardoned and/or released?

This nomination from Obama is a message to Republicans, Tea Partiers and conservatives that the radical agenda will continue and there’s nothing they can do about it.

    Think Tom Perez was bad?

Adegbile hails from the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, an organization that has pushed a radical racial agenda including attacks on election integrity measures, opposition to criminal background checks for hiring, and racial hiring quotas for state and local governments.

Adegbile filed a on behalf of the ‘Black Student Alliance’ arguing that a white applicant was properly denied admission to the University of Texas Law School because she was white.

While overseeing the NAACP LDF, the organization offered legal representation to Mumia Abu-Jamal, the murderer of Philadelphia police officer Danny Faulkner.

As I write this I can’t help but say to myself, Happy Anniversary Dan—you deserve more from this country and this city you were born in, served so well and died for. I think it’s time to begin calling it ‘The System’ instead of the ‘The Justice System.’

-Maureen Faulkner, 2010, on what would have been her 31st wedding anniversary.

The “free Mumia” movement is another example of how white liberals and black leftists try to twist facts, change history and turn a murdering street punk into an oppressed saint.

  • Brian

Do we need another sign that this country is not being run for our benefit?

    • Bartek

The US Federal government hasn’t been run for ‘our’ benefit since at least the 1930’s.
The US Federal government has been actively opposed to ‘us’ since 1963.
All of which was done publicly with total transparency.

  • MBlanc46

I’m fully aware of how evil and corrupt cops can be, so I didn’t just assume that this guy was guilty. I read a fair bit about the case. It didn’t take long to conclude that either he’s guilty or the accepted principles of physics are incorrect. These “Free Mumia” wackos are free to express their opinions, but no one who holds such views should be in a position of governmental authority.

    • Brian

I had a similar realization about this case. I have little fondness, use, or patience for blacks, esp. those who rechristen themselves with Muslim names, but I would not want any innocent person to be wrongly convicted of murder. And we know the flaws that exist in all stages of criminal justice. After reading up on this though…dude’s guilty as sin. But maybe he and OJ should team up to find the ‘real killers’ who are framing them.

      • MBlanc46

Fortunately for us, “Mumia” had a jury who showed some concern for the law instead of race hatred like in the Simpson case. Because I’m aware of the flaws–and downright criminality–of the criminal justice system, I’m very skeptical of capital punishment. It didn’t break my heart that this punk’s sentence was reduced to life, but I hope that he serves every last second of it.

  • KevinPhillipsBong

Free Mumia! Heck, let ’em all out. It will increase social segregation and black criminals are very good at executing other black criminals. Let the cops concentrate on policing white areas (whites won’t accuse them of racism for enforcing the laws). Yes, it will destroy property value in many areas but that will be somewhat offset by the millions saved in housing these criminals, proving for their healthcare and their frivolous lawsuits. Let ’em out and get out of the way.

  • Katherine McChesney

They also lack the ability to experience guilt.

    • joesphx

They also have an astonishing lack of a sense of future orientation, that is to tie in their present actions of misbehavior with some future disaster, either for them or someone else.

  • judenjager

Forget racism. These people MAKE you hate them.
