RNC Statement Commemorating Kwanzaa

GOP, December 26, 2013

Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus and RNC Co-Chairman Sharon Day released the following statement commemorating Kwanzaa:

“I want to extend my best wishes to all who are celebrating Kwanzaa,” said Chairman Priebus. “For families coming together to mark the occasion, I hope it is a joyous time of celebration with loved ones–and a time of meaningful reflection ahead of the New Year.”

“From December 26 through January 1, many families will take time to celebrate African culture and history. Kwanzaa is a wonderful opportunity for all of us to honor the importance of family and community, and it reminds us of the great diversity in America. Happy Kwanzaa!” said Co-Chairman Day.

  • Hardly any black people celebrate Kwanzaa anymore.

Just when you think the Stupid Party couldn’t get any more stupid.

Get off these boards you troll

      • Whitetrashgang

How much for a BJ no condom?

    • Sick of it

I have never met one black person who celebrates Kwanzaa and I’ve lived in majority black areas most of my life.

      • JohnEngelman

I’ve lived in majority black areas most of my life.

        – Sick of it

That is probably why you are sick of it, and what attracted you to American Renaissance.

      • Fathercoughlin

And that stupid G-D dang word:celebrate. I am so sick of hearing that stupid word over and over. I celebrate diversity, you celebrate hispanic culture,He celebrates womens history, you celebrate the spirit,AAAAGGHHH!! I “celebrate”,that is I jump up and down, high five, yell and scream, laugh and generally act a happy fool when something GOOD happens. I celebrate Christmas, winning the lottery, getting a date with Lolita etc. How in **** do you f****** “celebrate” diversity? You see a blkack dude, you celebrate??LOL! Must be touched in the head fool!

    Sellouts and cowards.

    • Whitetrashgang

      And that’s their good points.

    • tetrapod

I have to laugh at all the excitement about mid-term Republican prospects in reaction to the Obamacare fiasco. How can anybody think a Republican “takeover” of the Senate will make one scintilla’s difference in the rapid dispossession of America’s European core and our beloved country’s descent into multicultural chaos? It’s just the exchange of one slimy, self-serving elite for another. Their unctuous, disingenuous “diversity” cant nauseates me, and their treachery is despicable.

      • dave

Personally,I think the Republicans will lose in 2014. Nothing will change anyway.

        • tetrapod

Truly … win or lose nothing will change.

        • john ellis

Please work in local politics. Who cares what the Republican National Committee says in some press release in Washington?

This constant big threat of not voting gets old. If you really are going to give up on politics, give up on life – find some more expressive way to give up and go out. Muslims seem to make dramatic exits.

    • Spartacus

The term you’re looking for is “cockroaches” .

  • Whitetrashgang

Well how about a day celebrating Herpes. Could call it Kwanzaa plus or something.

    • MekongDelta69

      How is Kwanzaa Plus spread?

      Unprotected fake holidays?!
Sharing phony candles representing the “Seven Principles of Blackness”?!
‘Down-low’ activities during the week of December 26 through January 1?!

      Inquiring minds want to know…

    • Wait for the GOP’s commemoration of Baby Daddy Day, formerly known as Father’s Day. Of course that day comes a month after Baby Momma Day, a day where a half dozen tatted up spaghetti headed males show up at a Section 8 property to try to impregnate Baby Momma again on the couch while the other “chidren” play in front of the TeeBee.

      • Whitetrashgang

Funny funny and I think its part of section 3 of Obama care, which WT funds.

      • bilderbuster

That will become the new definition of Mass Confusion: Baby Daddy Day in da hood.

        • robinbishop34

Baby daddy day is just visitation day at the prison.

          • tlk244182

            How ’bout “Paternity Day?”

  • IstvanIN

Why can’t the Republicans just stay quiet instead of just p*ssing off their base?

    • sbuffalonative

Amen. This was pointless. All they did was paint a target on their backs for ridicule.

    • john ellis

The pandering doesn’t get them any Black votes. it does get the Leftist media, academia to feel successful that they have brow beaten Conservatives in to accepting the power reality of who rules America.

    • ms_anthro

Because they are the controlled opposition and are owned lock, stock, and barrel by the same monsters that installed all the other puppet dictators we call POTUS. They are not going to change because they are a a tentacle on the same Leviathan as the donkeys.

  • Luca

It is a fact that Kwanzaa was invented in 1966 by a black radical FBI stooge, Ron Karenga — aka Dr. Maulana Karenga — founder of United Slaves, a violent nationalist rival to the Black Panthers. He was also a dupe of the FBI. – Ann Coulter Dec. 26, 2013.

Perhaps the GOP should start reading Ann to avoid another bumbling attempt at pandering to minorities. They should have released a statement condemning it for the sham it is. However, you should read Ann’s article, it is far more insightful than what I have room for here.

    • MekongDelta69

Ron Everett was his so-called ‘slave name’ (as blacks are fond of saying)

(See my comment below for a bunch of articles about Kwanzaa…)

      • bilderbuster

        I did.
Thanks, I’ve known that for years but I looked some up to forward to others.

  • Extropico

The Stoopid Party celebrates an explicitly Pro-Black holiday while terming the party base of European descendants as rayciss if they are Pro-White. Let me know how that works out for you, Priebus.

    • Pro_Whitey

I can imagine the Sheldon Adelson telling the GOP elites, “Just make sure you staff the RNC with idiots!”

  • the GOP is such a good friend to the white man. Such a good friend that the GOP under nixon started affirmative action, and the GOP appointed the majority of the current supreme court justices, the same justices who have upheld affirmative action, disparate impact and other anti-white laws and policies.

Aren’t you glad to have the conservative GOP as your friend?

    • Whitetrashgang

Yes indeed the GOP is a true friend of white people. In fact I want to vote GOP except I am not legally insane yet. But when the report comes back I am out of the house and to the poling station.

  • LeGrandDerangement

Kwanzaa was being celebrated vibrantly at that theater in Jacksonville recently, as the “teens” reflected on their contribution to America.

  • John Smith

Whatever (tiny) gains made with non-whites will be offset by MILLIONS of ticked off, alienated whites who will continue to simply not vote.

The GOP will never win another national election. They are vermin.

Texas and Florida are about to go blue like California and NY, fuhgettaboutit!

  • Where’s the statement commemorating Festivus?

If the GOP is going to recognize one fake holiday,
they should recognize all fake holidays.

    • Extropico

I’m eagerly anticipating the GOP commemorating Odin’s birthday or the Winter Solstice, which was celebrated in neolithic Europe, thousands of years prior to Christianity.

      • I don’t think the GOP will ever celebrate Odin’s birthday.
        But we will in Valhalla.

  • Bon, From the Land of Babble

““I want to extend my best wishes to all who are celebrating Kwanzaa, . . .”

    About the creator of Kwanzaa:

In 1971, Karenga and US members Louis Smith and Luz Maria Tamayo were convicted of felonious assault and false imprisonment for having tortured two female US members, Gail Davis and Deborah Jones.

A May 14, 1971, article in the Los Angeles Times described the testimony of one of them: “Deborah Jones, who once was given the Swahili title of an African queen, said she and Gail Davis were whipped with an electrical cord and beaten with a karate baton after being ordered to remove their clothes. She testified that a hot soldering iron was placed in Miss Davis’ mouth and placed against Miss Davis’ face and that one of her own big toes was tightened in a vise. Karenga, head of US, also put detergent and running hoses in their mouths, she said.”

Yeah, best wishes on your faux African alternative holiday to Christmas!!

    • Whitetrashgang

I think its on the third day of Kwanzaa I whipped my ho with a electrical cord, is how the song goes.

  • John K

A time for convicts and gangbangers to get together and celebrate a fake holiday brought to you by a black thug.

  • Talltrees

I love it…with much disgust. Happy Ramadan, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Hanukkah….No Merry Christmas or at least Happy Christmas.

  • dd121

I would like to issue a statement to the RNC: #@!& you. I’ve voted for you the last time. That may help the Democrats but the remaining Americans will sort it all out later.

While we’re celebrating stupid, made-up hollydays – How about “Day of Diversity ” ?

    • bilderbuster

It should be ” Days of Diversity “.
“On the first Day of Diversity the White Man gave to me…”

      • “On the first Day of Diversity the White Man gave to me…”

This is a song just waiting to be written.

  • MikeofAges

If you forget all the bile and just look at the enunciated principles of Kwanzaa, collectively they are a recipe for socioeconomic gridlock. But there are a few good ideas in there, I would say

Umoja (Unity): To strive for and to maintain unity in the family, community, nation, and race.
Kujichagulia (Self-Determination): To define ourselves, name ourselves, create for ourselves, and speak for ourselves.
Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility): To build and
maintain our community together and make our brothers’ and sisters’
problems our problems, and to solve them together.
Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics): To build and maintain our own stores, shops, and other businesses and to profit from them together.
Nia (Purpose): To make our collective vocation the building
and developing of our community in order to restore our people to their
    traditional greatness.
Kuumba (Creativity): To do always as much as we can, in the
way we can, in order to leave our community more beautiful and
    beneficial than we inherited it.
Imani (Faith): To believe with all our hearts in our people,
our parents, our teachers, our leaders, and the righteousness and
    victory of our struggle.

    • The Man from Shiloh

      Racist communism, in other words.
Priebus doesn’t have the brain power of a dead skunk.

      • MikeofAges

The idiocy of it is that it won’t work for American blacks, for whatever the reasons. Among other things, they do not seem to be able to create and maintain their own commercial economy.

I once read of the saga of a middle class black couple in Chicago who decided to “buy black” for a year. It proved difficult, especially for the most necessary of all items, food. Frankly, you’d have an easier time finding competent black professionals to get your financial and health services from than you would finding a black independent grocer to buy a bag of apples from. No, you’re not going to fix this in any number of lifetimes.

The biggest problem blacks have is that they don’t have the sanity or sense of reality to ask for what they need most, which is full employment at whatever level of ability and education each of them individually happens to have. That’s a big order in our world today, but they are a large part of the reason why the issue isn’t on the agenda. Actually, they are very prone to abstraction. Big on “the dream” and small on how it will play out on Monday morning.

        • rowingfool

The day Jesse Jackson said that “We blacks will not go back to the fields” (paraphrased) was the day black’s chances for real gainful employment died.

          • MikeofAges

That might not be true, but the day one industry after another began to leave America, and with it the numerous semi-skilled and medium-skilled jobs it provided, the chance of less educated and less educable blacks went downhill.

The transition to a service and knowledge based economy started around 1970 and got serious very quickly. As with whites, those blacks who qualify for the high end service jobs, middle management and the professions did well, or at least good enough. White suffered in this transition, and some have never recovered. Blacks could only do worse, and have.

Heard a word from Jesse Jackson on this subject? In past decades, he might have been the one person who with persistence could have made full employment an issue.

          • Poverty pimps like Je$$e Jack$on and Al $harpton don’t want full employment for blacks. The entire BGI – Black Grievance Industry would wither away if that happened, leaving these two race-huckster scammers desperately looking for real work. They can make a living only if their “constituents” are kept permanently aggrieved and stirred-up about it.

          • MikeofAges

Having all the adult family members and out-of-school youths working, even at minimum wage, would change a lot of things. I can only imagine there are plenty of ghetto families with maybe a dozen relatives all living in the same neighborhood, with at best only one or two working. But nothing will help if people decide to drink heavily, use, gamble, or practice other vices. These things can ruin a billionaire. Probably have.

    • Rhialto

If a White man stated those principles, as principles for White men, he would be Liberal-classified as a Racist.

      • MikeofAges

Absolutely. That did not go over my head.

      • john ellis

Ok, maybe that could be your project for next year. Yule is a Northern European holiday at roughly the same time as Christmas, put together a list to strive for.

    • tlk244182

I dont see any evidence that our friends of the diversified persuasion follow any of these. Perhaps there would actually be less conflict if they did, since they would be self-sufficient and self-segregated.

      • MikeofAges

Won’t work. Unlike everybody else, blacks in America never have been able to create a commercial economy. When I was growing up in Chicago during the 1950s and 60s, the only legal black businesses with outside patronage were a few blues clubs and a few rib joints. For all I know, these were owned by white men anyway. Compare that to Jews, Hispanics, East Asians, South Asians. Their businesses get all sorts of patronage from outsiders. Well, so do gentile white businesses. Blacks cannot even create a community outsiders can safely enter to do business. Not even in broad daylight.

    • Pro_Whitey

What’s the Swahili word for “Go Back to Africa!” I want to sneak that one onto the list.

    Stupid Party indeed.

  • Garrett Brown

Why does ANYONE even talk about Kwanzaa anymore? It’s a dead religion.

  • withcaution

Keep voting for this party of morons, it’s been working so well why quit them now?
Leaches can’t make it under a Libertarian society and will leave on their own accord.

  • gemjunior

What a joke. Just unbelievable, what a sad, pathetic attempt at pulling everyone’s legs about “culture” when everyone is sick to their backbone of these people. It’s like they are laughing at a joke that was so old it became no longer funny but annoying. Please.

  • DiversityIsDeath

Ewww, what a bunch of despicable, disingenuous race traitoring sell outs. I think WNs want the Republican party to crash and burn even more than the Democrats do. Godspeed.

    Paul Ryan’s favorite holiday.

  • disqus_irCdmAu8It

Kwanzaa is a con – the only people interesting in it are mass marketers, like Hallmark, Walmart, et al, just to make a buck. Mature Blacks see it as a scam.

  • Bunky

    What an effin idiot.
Then they ask me for money.
Get it from the kwanzaaaaaa revelers dimwit.

  • shmo123

Happily, it’s becoming a non-event. This is the first mention I’ve seen of it this year, aside from a “Happy Kwanza” graphic on Fox. Maybe, just maybe people realize what a ridiculously stupid “holiday” it is.

    • Bobbala

The failure of any black success is the reason white creations must be appropriated. Thus, we have black Santa Claus, black Nick Fury, black TV/ movie doctors, black marines on the posters, black Viking gods, etc.

If only Kwanza took off. Then maybe we could still have “a White Christmas”. If only black people didn’t turn everyplace they went into what they fled, white flight would happen one time (if at all).

  • Bobbala

Any chance of a peaceful recovery depends on the emergence of a 2nd party in the US.

  • John R

Hey, the Republicans are finally recognizing that great African American celebration of Kwanzaa! Now, we can be sure that black voters will indeed break their traditional ties to the Democrats and consider voting for the GOP. (Yeah, and if you believe that, I have a bridge…)

  • Kenner

I’d worked with the public, and one of my regular customers asked me what Kwanzaa was about.
I said it was ‘just like Christmas, except when Santa slides down the chimney, he lands in the cooking pot’. I also told him it was at the end of December because the entire black community spent the previous three weeks scouring the land for the ‘real killers of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.’ [That was 6 years ago, I saw that line pop up a few years later, but I think I said it first-]
I can’t tell you just how much my customer appreciated this glimpse into the African American heritage. –And in an ultra-PC workplace, as well.
I chose my victims carefully. Good times!

  • svartekaptenen

I have visited several countries in Africa and I have never heard about this so called holiday so I seriously doubt that they are celebrating it there. It must have been made up in the US.

    • MBlanc46

Made up by black nationalist Ron Karenga (born Everett).

  • Look_A_Squirrel

GOP comment in support of Kwanzaa but not one word in support of Phil Robertson’s religious freedom. GOP has lost it.

  • Proving there is nothing new under the sun, remember a very similar social controversy from last year? Chick-Fil-A. It was the same deal: The Republican establishment was silent. Mitt Romney himself even said directly that he didn’t care about it and wasn’t going to say anything either pro or con. Yet, you still had people going to Romney rallies wearing Romney shirts and slinging Chick-Fil-A sacks. Did they not see the irony?

OTOH, I remember the Chick-Fil-A issue quite well for its fortuitous timing relative to the Missouri political calendar.

Re Neal Boortz: Someone should tell him the last time Republicans won big running on purely economic issues, and running in the way he wants them to run, was in 1928.

  • John K

There’s really no point in going to the voting booths anymore. You can vote Republican all you want, you’re still getting a Democrat by default. They win, then go to Washington DC and kiss Democrat ass. They care more about the illegal invaders than they do their voter base.

Illegal Aliens vs Political Predators: no matter who wins, we’re screwed.

  • ben no

White “evil” has been in the name of Christianity, but also is in the name of Jewish supremacism more often, in case you didn’t know.

These wrongly-mislead and dangerous whites are individuals at best and have never represented the general nature of whites, of course, which is extremely compassionate beyond the norm of all other races.

Whites stopped slavery, stopped murder, stopped molestation, rape and robbery, stopped animal cruelty and extinction of wildlife, and made it an official sin to commit by means of law and not just individual morale. This is the profound compassion of whites and without are people, all of these crimes would still be standard practice for the rest for world
without a seconds thought to which they own us a debt of gratitude. Indeed, we civilized
    them and unashamedly so.

  • Funruffian

I know very little about Kwanzaa, but something tells me it’s one of those modern religions devised by a non-Black to help them establish some order in their community, along with a sense of pride.

    • It isn’t even a religion. Kwanzaa is merely a celebration-by-omission of black social pathology and attendant black envy of civilized whites and Asians. Take a look at the post above by Mike Of Ages explaining Kwanzaa. This constitutes one week of their thinking about being human, and then they go back to being n-words for the next 348 days out of the year. This is an attempt at sympathetic magic, the way some faux “Christians” imagine they are “saved” because they grovel to Jesus every Sunday while acting like amoral slimebags the other six days each week. From a behavioral standpoint, the sincere Christians aren’t the ones who need to pray.

Whites and Orientals don’t need anything like Kwanzaa because most of us already behave properly, most of the time. Civilization wouldn’t exist if this wasn’t the norm for us.
