Diversity, Not Jesus, Saves Says Presiding Bishop

George Conger, Anglican Ink, May 20, 2013

The Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church has denounced the Apostle Paul as mean-spirited and bigoted for having released a slave girl from demonic bondage as reported in Acts 16:16-34 .

In her sermon delivered at All Saints Church in Curaçao in the diocese of Venezuela, Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori condemned those who did not share her views as enemies of the Holy Spirit.

Bishop Katharine Jefferts

Bishop Katharine Jefferts

The presiding bishop opened her remarks with an observation on the Dutch slave past. “The history of this place tells some tragic stories about the inability of some to see the beauty in other skin colors or the treasure of cultures they didn’t value or understand,” she said.

She continued stating: “Human beings have a long history of discounting and devaluing difference, finding it offensive or even evil.  That kind of blindness is what leads to oppression, slavery, and often, war.  Yet there remains a holier impulse in human life toward freedom, dignity, and the full flourishing of those who have been kept apart or on the margins of human communities.”

Just as the forces of historical inevitability led to the ending of industrial slavery, so too would the march of progress lead to a change in attitude towards homosexuality, she argued.

“We live with the continuing tension between holier impulses that encourage us to see the image of God in all human beings and the reality that some of us choose not to see that glimpse of the divine, and instead use other people as means to an end.  We’re seeing something similar right now in the changing attitudes and laws about same-sex relationships, as many people come to recognize that different is not the same thing as wrong.  For many people, it can be difficult to see God at work in the world around us, particularly if God is doing something unexpected.”

To illustrate her point presiding bishop turned to the book of Acts, noting “There are some remarkable examples of that kind of blindness in the readings we heard this morning, and slavery is wrapped up in a lot of it.  Paul is annoyed at the slave girl who keeps pursuing him, telling the world that he and his companions are slaves of God.  She is quite right.  She’s telling the same truth Paul and others claim for themselves,” Bishop Jefferts Schori said, referencing the first chapter of the Epistle to the Romans.

“But Paul is annoyed, perhaps for being put in his place, and he responds by depriving her of her gift of spiritual awareness.  Paul can’t abide something he won’t see as beautiful or holy, so he tries to destroy it.  It gets him thrown in prison.  That’s pretty much where he’s put himself by his own refusal to recognize that she, too, shares in God’s nature, just as much as he does – maybe more so!,” the presiding bishop said.

The New Testament passage goes on to say that Paul and Silas were imprisoned for freeing the girl of her demonic possession. Presiding Bishop noted “an earthquake opens the doors and sets them free, and now Paul and his friends most definitely discern the presence of God.  The jailer doesn’t – he thinks his end is at hand.”

However, Paul now repents of his mistake in casting out the spirit of divination, she argues.  “This time, Paul remembers who he is and that all his neighbors are reflections of God, and he reaches out to his frightened captor.  This time Paul acts with compassion rather than annoyance, and as a result the company of Jesus’ friends expands to include a whole new household.  It makes me wonder what would have happened to that slave girl if Paul had seen the spirit of God in her.”

In support her argument for radical inclusion and diversity over doctrine Bishop Jefferts Schori adds that the day’s reading “from Revelation pushes us in the same direction, outward and away from our own self-righteousness, inviting us to look harder for God’s gift and presence all around us.  Jesus says he’s looking for everybody, anyone who’s looking for good news, anybody who is thirsty.  There are no obstacles or barriers – just come.  God is at work everywhere, even if we can’t or won’t see it immediately.”

She concluded her sermon by stating that we are not justified by our faith but by our respect for diversity.

“Looking for the reflection of God’s glory all around us means changing our lenses, or letting the scales on our eyes fall away.  That kind of change isn’t easy for anyone, but it’s the only road to the kingdom of God.”

Salvation comes not from being cleansed of our sins by the atoning sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, but through the divinization of humanity through the work of the human will. “We are here, among all the other creatures of God’s creation, to be transformed into the glory intended from the beginning.  The next time we feel the pain of that change, perhaps instead of annoyance or angry resentment we might pray for a new pair of glasses.  When resentment about difference or change builds up within us, it’s really an invitation to look inward for the wound that cries out for a healing dose of glory.  We will find it in the strangeness of our neighbor.  Celebrate that difference – for it’s necessary for the healing of this world – and know that the wholeness we so crave lies in recognizing the glory of God’s creative invitation.  God among us in human form is the most glorious act we know.”

Responses posted on the Episcopal Church’s website to the Presiding Bishop’s sermon have been uniformly harsh, noting her interpretation was at odds with traditional Christian teaching, grammar, and logic. “This is quite possibly some if the most delusional exegesis I’ve ever read in my life,” one critic charged. “I’m sorry, but this sermon is not a Christian sermon.”

The reception by bloggers has been equally unkind. The Rev Timothy Fountain observed the presiding bishop had up ended the plain meaning of the text. “Instead of liberation” in freeing the slave girl from exploitation, presiding bishop finds “confinement.  Instead of Christ’s glory, there’s just squalor.”

The Rev. Bryan Owen argued “What’s happening here is the exploitation of a biblical text in service to a theopolitical agenda.  Given what she says in the first paragraph I’ve quoted from her sermon, the Presiding Bishop suggests that anyone who doesn’t buy into that agenda – anyone who holds to the traditional, orthodox understanding of such matters – is likewise afflicted with the same narrow-minded bigotry as Paul, and thus in need of enlightenment.”

So schori thinks her thinking is above God’s–She would make a great rabbinical talmudist.

  • Stentorian_Commentator

It’s not heartening, that’s for sure. It looks like the communists figured out their mistake in being avowed atheists, and now content themselves with infiltrating and subverting Christianity from within. It would be nice some higher up declared her a heretic, but the Episcopal church does seem to be lost.

    • GeneticsareDestiny

Yes, that does seem to be what they’re doing. I wish they’d at least leave atheism alone if they’re going to focus on subverting Christianity, but nope. They’re happy to ruin both for everyone.

      • Korpiklaani

Look into Paganism my friend, I’ve been practicing for 5 years now.

        • Nathanwartooth

I’m personally perfectly happy being an atheist that celebrates Chrstian holidays and enjoys Christian values.

          • Korpiklaani

And I would never want to ruin your happiness.

          • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

Those “Christian” holidays were “pagan” holidays before they stole them. The only thing that identifies any values as Christian are the ones that make it unique from the ethnics of any other civilized culture. Those values are the ones that both make it ridiculous and impossible and also produce conditions that are bad for whites (or the preservation of any one race or people.

          • Nathanwartooth

Hey, I’m just a nice guy who likes to celebrate Easter and Christmas.

Before the Pagan’s celebrated them they probably belonged to some tribe before them. I don’t really care who the customs originated from. I like them.

        • Vanessa

This is why I no longer consider myself a Christian. I believe in my White race to the fullest but Christianity teaches me that I should love every stranger on earth universally. I should give up what I have to poor jigs from africa and support israel at all costs.

But what do you think of Thelema? Is it compatible with WN? I know Crowley despised blacks and referred to them with the n-word in some of his letters. But then he also embraced gematria and kabbalah. I would prefer Whites to embrace Odinism instead of Christianity, but I’m a rational minded type of person and I don’t know enough about Odinism to judge whether it is rational enough for my taste. I would consider myself agnostic and worldly. My Noble White Race is all i really believe in with all my heart.

          • Korpiklaani

I chose Odinism/Paganism because of my racial heritage(German/Slaivc), and because I just down right enjoy the Norse/Germanic mythos more than anything else I’ve ever read. Check out the Poetic Eddas, you can listen to the audio book version for free on youtube. The creation of planet earth (Midgaard) by Odin is one of the funniest myths I’ve ever read. It’s worth looking into, more as a way to honor our race and ancestors more then anything.

          • Vanessa

Yea I read the Poetic Edda, it’s beautiful and fascinating. Why isn’t it required reading in schools today? Oh, wait I know the answer.

I wonder what ratiocination convinced Our ancestors that they should worship a dead jew as a god. How twisted is that logic? How can anyone consider themselves a rational or skeptical person and believe that sort of thing?

          • Korpiklaani

Google “Council of Nicea” if you haven’t read the book of Enoch, check it out. Enoch was an Ethiopian who was supposedly descended from Adam by 7 generations, and Enoch writes that the Lords angels that guided him through an alternate reality appeared to him as White men with blonde hair and blue eyes. Most of whats in the Bible is hog wash, it took a psychotic Roman emperor to forcefully make the Romans submit to Christianity, which then allowed the Jews to destroy, and loot the Roman Empire. That’s why “they” eventually moved the capital to Constantinople.

          • Sherman_McCoy

The Book of Enoch isn’t in the Bible.

          • Korpiklaani

I know, I should have worded that better, Enoch was full of hogwash also.

          • David Ashton

“The conversion of Constantine, for Church and empire both, led to consequences better and worse – although not for the Jews, for whom, from this, nothing good would come.” – James Carroll, “Constantine’s Sword: The Church and the Jews” (NY 2002) p.171.

Some Jews claim to see the origins of “the Holocaust” in the Fourth Gospel, John Chrysostom and Martin Luther.

          • Korpiklaani

Christianity from day one has been a tool of the Jews. There is good reason they’ve been expelled from EVERY European country at one time or another. Read what Adolf Hitler had to say about the Jewish influence on the Christian church.

          • Luis

After Jesus’ crucifixion, God told the Jews, he would “scatter you among all nations, and you will be taken captive among the nations where the Lord drives you; and you shall be trampled underfoot until the time of the Gentiles be fulfilled”.
Ironic how Jesus died on March 7, 33A.D., after the Jews clamored for the murderer Barabbas to be released to them, by Pontius Pilate.
On March 5, 1933, some 1,900 years after the death of Christ, ANOTHER murderer was unleashed upon the Jews.
            His name was Adolf Hitler.

          • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

This is Christian mythology written long after the claimed events. They are known Christian forgeries and not factual at all. Using this stuff to somehow endorse Hitler is not just phoney baloney, it’s evidence of a a two digit IQ. I hope you’re not white.

          • David Ashton

Christianity as a “tool” of the Jews historically from “day one” (Paul to the Thessalonians?) – hard to prove, especially as Christian nations later segregated or expelled them. Ideologically, more complicated – I think I have read practically everything both Hitler and Nietzsche said (rather differently) on this subject, some of it reasonable and some of it highly debatable. Like the ancient Jews themselves, Hitler regarded Jesus himself as a Mischling. We are all too tempted to simple and sweeping but half-educated explanations, and therefore incorrect and sweeping “solutions”.

          • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

Reading some legitimate history helps a great deal. I’m not against reading what Hitler wrote, I’ve had a copy of Mien Kampf for decades. Also, I hope that you are aware that Nietzsche did not write the anti-Jewish stuff, his sister did it after his death. Nietzsche broke with Wagner partially over Wagner’s expressed anti-Jewish attitudes.

The dna recent analysis of the living relatives of Hitler in Europe and America shows that he was genetically North African Berber, then Jewish and lastly European (since “Aryan” is a fraudulent identity) in the quantity of haplogroups that are found in those ethnic groups. (Jean-Paul Mulders, Ronny Decorte, Belgium – Flemish language magazine “Knack”) So Hitler was a Mischling himself.

          • Romulus

If you haven’t already, the Roman historian, Michael Scott, did an excellent 3 part doc. called Jesus:rise to power on nat geo. Basically, the only Christian about most of the Christian culture was yeshua himself. All else was pagan. If ever you have the chance, see if you can access time in the Vatican library archives. I haven’t yet. The next best thing here in the US is the library of Congress.

          • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

Constantine did not force Christianity on the Romans although the Romans forced it upon the rest of Europe later on. Christianity, namely Pauline Nazarene Christianity was forced on Constantine, who was an Arian Christian (meaning he favored Arius of Alexandria and the more “Gnostic” form of Christianity). You ought to read some legitimate history on the subject. The go to books for that is the six volumes of Gibbon’s “The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.” Jews never destroyed or looted the Roman Empire. The Romans destroyed the Jews, Israel and Judea in two large wars; The War of the Jewish Revolt in the year 60 and in a later and devastatingly final demolishing of the Temple in Jerusalem and the famous forced diaspora of the surviving Jews and the renaming of the land to Palestine in 135 after the Bar Kokhba Revolt.

As for your claim that the Jews then invaded and looted the Roman Empire, this is well known history and it was Germanic tribes that did that (unless you are saying that the Gothic tribes were Jewish!). The Empire was divided into East and West and the Western Empire ended after this, not when it was done. Your understanding of history is terrible. You are an embarrassment to pagans everywhere and a bad representative of whites as well.

          • David Ashton

Both Indo-European and Semitic traditions envisage a Divine Hero who finally defeats an Evil Reptile.
Gothic Christianity did not see Jesus as “dead” or even as “a Jew”.
History like life is a bit more complicated than you imagine.

          • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

If you were going to say, it’s because of Diversity, I’d agree. But it used to be read in schools in America. Also, remember the days of the week are named after “pagan” gods and goddesses and Saturday is the Day of Saturn and Sunday was once Apollo’s Day. The Christians weren’t able to get rid of everything.

          • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

All religion is mythology. Belief is for the ignorant or the scammers or for the scammers of the ignorant. What is valuable about these myths that they are full of Nordic/European spirituality and clear of the hypocrisy that automatically comes with Christianity and provide an actual war god for whites to rally around symbolically. Also, of course they are our indigenous religions. I like even more, the old Celtic worldview as well. They celebrated life and the seasons. They were agrarian cultures and they understood the planets and stars and how the were linked to the seasons and their crops and animals. So they were far more spiritually linked to their lands. There was a great book published in the early 90s by Simon Schama the historian called “Landscape and Memory.” It was about how the uniqueness of the European geography and landscape actually produced the various people and cultures. I’ve been to Stonehenge and it is remarkable what the ancients knew, especially compared to what Christianity replaced it with.

I don’t agree with him on all things, but Bill Mayer has a great comment on creation myths and religious myths in general. He says that you have to look at the latest ones like Scientology to see how ridiculous all of them are. People tend to accept for example the Biblical creation myth, but it is as loony as any of them; talking snakes and all. I like to ask believers about God; If God created man in his image, does that include the sex organs? If so, doesn’t that mean that God was horny? If God was horny, does that explain his bursts of anger and sadistic treatment of his creation? Because I don’t read about who God has up their to provide him with the necessary relief.

Old Crowley was an erudite fraud like Blavatsky. John Symonds – I knew his late wife, a Jewish Jungian – wrote sharp biographical exposes of them both.
I think that we need a “eugenic” religion, which sees the “purpose of ‘God'” in the evolution towards ever higher forms of human life, but does not cut across sincere worship of Christian heritage. Francis Galton, Teilhard de Chardin (the original, not the Quakerized version), Raymond Cattell, Julian Huxley and Oswald Mosley have all contributed.
Odin is as imaginary as Jehovah or Satan.

          • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

Do you mean to claim that Jesus is real (as the supernatural son of “God” in Christianity) while Jehovah, Odin and Satan are imaginary?

This is the problem; too many people want to or need to have everything changed to fit with their own bias rather than move out of their comfort zones for a real change. Christianity is bad for whites and bad for white survival and needs to be purged from whites. But it can only be done voluntarily.

          • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

If you are talking about Alister Crowley, you need to realize that he was a satanist and that satanism did not exist in pre-Christian Europe, but was an invention of Christians and Judaism. Crowley has interesting things to say, but he was a reactive type who was reacting to Christianity rather than just looking for his cultural roots. In pre-Christian Europe, there were “witches” but this only means that they were one class of wise women (or men) that later bore some of the brunt of the Inquisition because people still tended to belief in them (hold to the old ways, give remedies and advice such as herbalists and other non-Christian superstitious rites). One famous satanist in the 1960s pointed out that Christianity wouldn’t be able to function without Satan, which is actually true. If you take away Satan, then everything has to be blamed on Jews. The European view was not the dualism of the Middle Eastern religions, it was of a more natural cosmological order (closer to actuality) and one either does good, acts right, or one does not. Nothing is inherently good or evil, and nature in general is good because it supports all life.

I am a non-believer myself. But culturally, I find the outlook of the Celts and the spirit of Odin and Vahalla works fine. One just doesn’t need to claim that Odin really exists or Vahalla is up there in the clouds (or beyond). It’s about spirituality, not reality. But when I plant my garden, I am aware of the old ways and I feel connected to my ancient European family.

You don’t have to stress over this issue. Atheism is not an organized religion. All you do is don’t believe in claims of the divine. Those who make a political system out of it are usurpers. Don’t let them use you.

        • GeneticsareDestiny

Yes, I know, but it is very irritating to see the atheist community inundated with clueless racial egalitarians. I’ve never met another atheist in real life who wasn’t a massive leftist.

They’re ruining the image of atheism, and I don’t like it. Still, I suppose there is nothing I can do. Maybe this will change when more whites wake up.

    • Old Right

The Italian Communist theoretician Antonio Gramsci proposed doing just that. He thought that subverting the culture would work more effectively than the old Bolshevik method of staging a palace coup and trying to enforce Marxist ideology from the top down. Looks like his strategy’s actually working pretty well.

      • Cape to Cairo

Didn’t he coin the phrase “Long march through the institutions”?

The institutions are lost. We need to decouple from them and start a parallel society based on Christian nationalism, IMHO.

        • Vanessa

Have you ever wondered what would happen if White Nationalists simply elected our own Congress (like the jews with the american jewish congress) and sent them to meet in some empty hangar and start drafting a new Constitution?

Something to think about, but what is NOT required is some crackpot and mendacious association like “Commander” Rockwell’s comic WUNS. I would trust Jared Taylor with this.

        • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

It will not ever happen and if it did, it would never succeed in anything but destroying itself as Christianity slowly destroyed the West. Can’t see it, look closer. But Christianity is not interested in the world, it is about a claimed future in paradise after an apocalypse.

      • David Ashton

Yes indeed. John Engelman’s non-existent “Cultural Marxists” have been working at it since the 1960s. Any of their own sociology or critical studies books will tell you all about it. In Britain, what I knew as a small minority “race, gender, class” networking in local government, some schools and the media in the 1970s is now the official “equality and diversity” ideology imposed downwards on our native populace by police-enforced laws and “educational” propaganda.

        • convairXF92

In 1975, terms like “racism” and “sexism”–when bundled together–were seldom heard outside the rantings of the SDS (Students for a Democratic Society). If the SDS was before your time, google it.

          • convairXF92

….ooops I forgot we were talking about the UK. The SDS was a US group, the main New Left organization during the Vietnam War period.

          • David Ashton

The UK got “institutional racism” from the US Stokely Carmichael and politicized “minorities” from Herbert Marcuse and company. Now the “racism, sexism, transphobia” mania runs through Anglo-American academic publications around the globe.

          • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

No, they weren’t. The Frankfurt School’s prime member, Herbert Marcuse was real leader and is knwn as The Father of the New Left (look it up). It’s amazing to me that these guys were allowed to remain in this country and even Marcuse sit on a university chair since 1938 until he retired in the late 1990s.

The Vietnam Day Committee was the main Vietnam protest organization (Whoopie Goldberg was a member), while the SDS was about Free Speech with a side of war protest to go. It is related however. What happened was that the California University system still required officers training (for males) in their curriculum as a holdover from WW2. When the students protested this, they found a hostile administration and they were quickly shut down. They decided to take over the administration offices because they were not allowed to “speak” – to lobby to bring about a change in the requirements that they saw as a waste of their time (the Vietnam War wasn’t even going at the time, or at least was so small that the issue of the draft and service there was not in the forefront yet). The Vietnam War became an issue after 1965, and more so after 1967 and the Tet Offensive. The SDS activities on the Berkeley campus were termed “The Free Speech Movement” in the media and by its participants. War protests became an issue of Free Speech because of the intolerance for any discussion about the initial issue and then the violent reactions that seemed to be over reactions by authorities. This caused the students to go to more violent reactions and Jerry Rubin and the Weathermen radical group (later The Chicago Seven) of Chicago (a Marxist group from an old Marxist friendly city) arrived in Berkeley to incite more violence. It got to where almost anything was an issue. An empty lot in Berkeley was claimed as People’s Park and students fought with police and a fixed bayonet National Guard ordered in by then governor Ronald Reagan. It should also be understood that these people were completely separate from the “Hippies” in San Francisco who weren’t political at all. They wanted to “drop out” of all such activity. It wasn’t until later when they were starting to get roughed up routinely by SF police, that they became susceptible to the Berkeley and Rubin influences.

It’s pretty complicated, but a fascinating history.

          • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

You’re just about 10 years off; try 1965. By 1975 the SDS was long gone and the Feminist Movement was well underway and everyone had heard these terms for years. But it might be a typo….?

        • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

I think you’ve missed a little bit of social history in the U.S. The Neo-Marxist Frankfurt School relocated from Frankfurt to the U.S. in 1938. Herbert Marcuse, its chief member wrote “Eros and Civilization” and is considered The Father of the New Left. Emmanuel Cellar was another prominent member and was the character that faced McCarthy during the McCarthy Hearings and tried to shame him by saying, “Have you no decency sir?” Yet he was at the same time involved in stirring up the Civil Rights Movement in a well documented move to force race concerns into American politics. Cellar wrote the 1965 Immigration and Naturalization Act that Ted Kennedy sponsored. The Frankfurt School made political deals with politicians and President Lydon Johnson in particular when he proclaimed the “Great Society” and its social engineering. These were true Cultural Marxists.

You can Google The Frankfurt School, Herbert Marcuse and Emanuel Cellar and find plenty of factual documentation.

Not true. Christianity created communism. WHAT!? YOU SCREAM? It’s true. From the first century up to the fourth, or until monasticism established itself in Europe (it came from Egypt and was part of the old Egyptian paganism), the Church grew so fast because of several unique conditions. The first was that people subscribed pretty readily to the idea that the world was going to end soon (just look at how many do now, in spite of better knowledge). Second, they absolutely believed that no wealthy people would get into heaven (that was part of the scam). So they really gave all their wealth to the Church and there were many wealthy converts (this was done at all the local churches throughout the early Christian world). Next, the Church redistributed that wealth to the poor converts. This drove a huge conversion phenomena. This history is found in the classics, but is most accessible in Gibbon’s “The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.” You can get a paperback abridged version of the first three volumes pretty cheaply online.

Later on, there were a number of famous medieval and later Christian institutions that were communist by form and function. One was the community of St. Francis and the teachings of the Franciscan Order, which was always in danger of being purged by the Church. Next, were later communes like The Diggers in England in the 17th Century. By the 19th century, revolutionary movements had come to understand how Christianity supported the oppressive rulers and states. In order to avoid the interference and intrigues that Christianity was historically known for, they made religion powerless. They were not actually atheists. That is, they were not philosophical atheists. They just formed collective states that did not rely on or support the religious organizations it had in the past. They closed churches, but did not persecute people for being Christians in Christian regions or Jews or Muslims (true in the USSR and Yugoslavia (I lived in former Yugoslavia in the late 1990s for a while). One proof of that is how many people went back to the churches as soon as they reopened.

Christianity is merely suffering from its own invention, which never was aimed at any sustaining of any people or state, since it is an apocalyptic religion at it center.

This flies in the face of the witness countless Christians who suffered under Communism, and still do in countries where it is practiced, but I guess I can take your word over theirs.

Seriously, try telling older Russian Christians that the USSR was not persecuting them.

Where do you people come up with this stuff?

“They” won’t let us have anything sacred. I could rant all night.

They need to remake the whole Thor series, just like they need a racially honest Punisher movie. The new short “Dirty Laundry” with Tom Jayne was pretty good, they should give him complete control over a new Punisher movie, I loved Warzone, we need a new one with Tom though.

“Diversity” is the new sanctum sanctorum, the civic religion we all have to bow and scrape to. White Westerners once not only dominated the world, they uplifted it too, with advanced technology, scientific and philosophical inquiry, and political systems that were more “inclusive” than those of any other race or civilization. It is an atrocity of immense proportions that the institutions they developed are now being used to enslave them to this barbaric, senseless cult.

Why do people like this become clergy? Is it just to be subversive? I’ve got a friend who recently graduated from Gonzaga, a Catholic University. He’s a devout Catholic. He told me the clergy there were a bunch of complete nut cases who were basically pagans, portraying God as some sort of Earth Mother and whatnot. I really do not understand why these people don’t chose another path in life.

    • Erasmus

Gonzaga is a Jesuit school, and most orthodox Catholics know not to confuse Jesuits with being Catholic. Worse than the Jesuits’ heretical thinking, however, is that most of their scholarship is become quite mediocre. While there is still the serious thinker here and there among them, most adhere to no intellectual rigor, and a serious student is largely wasting his time trying to sate his mind’s hunger for knowledge among the Jesuits.

      • David Ashton

The Jesuits have deteriorated since the Vatican Council, like much else. I am not religious (any longer) but found their previous erudition an intellectual tonic.

I called into the Alex Jones show once, and when I mentioned the Jesuits he hung up on me…

          • bebe

These talk show hosts are all run by the same people. They are only allowed to talk about certain things and then some are allowed to go a little further to make us believe they are all credible in one way or another and see how “diversified” they are…..bunch of baloney.

But as you said he hung up on you naming the Jesuit..of course. Some others you can’t name, is the Illuminati, the CFR, (except on Alex) try naming the jew and he will also hang up. On “conservative” radio you can’t name any of those things or even facts about crime or racial issues. They are so cowardly and such wimps when it comes to race…I have to shut them off.

      • bebe

Yeah and the new Pope is a Jesuit…how in the world does that work? I don’t think most Catholics today have a clue of what they believe…It is up for grabs.

Christianity- The worship of and undead Jewish carpenter who died, temporarily, to save us from Sin which came into being when a woman ate an apple at the prompting of a talking snake that pissed of his dad who is also him?!?!

Paganism- The fundamental understanding that we are a part of nature, and the world around us, with respect for our homelands, and for our ancestors, who are the only beings worthy of worship. Gods are allegorical for states of mind, and elements of human, and earthly nature,

Which one makes more sense to you?

      • jambi19

What does a pagan, muslim and member of the global warming cult have in common? They all kiss the dirt five times a day. My God isn’t allegorical. He created me as master of my environment and to love my brothers and sisters. If you want to worship dirt and trees be my guest. Just don’t try to convince me dirt/trees/animals are equal to and on the same level as man, made in His image. I also don’t worship the dead because I choose to worship the Living.

        • Korpiklaani

“Our ancestors, who are the only beings worthy of worship” Did you not read that? Or are you being purposely disingenuous?

Would the Vikings, Goths, Celts, Greeks, Romans, Saxons, Slavs, Finns, ancient Thracians have bowed before Islam in their own homelands? Or is it the Christians that have willingly sold out their brothers, and sisters, mothers, and fathers, sons, and daughters, and above all our collective genetic heritage? Which group is doing that, Pagans or Christians?

          • jambi19

Well I would continue to argue but the statements from the bishop in the article certainly make your criticisms legitimate.

          • Korpiklaani

I wasn’t attacking you personally, I want to make that clear.

          • World_War_Me

You were very gracious in your reply.

          • Bad_Mr_Frosty

I don’t believe we’ve had true Christianity in the West since the 60’s. The true strength of the church was in the Christian community. There was no welfare state. If you needed surgery and couldn’t afford it, your church would come together and raise funds for you. If you lost your job, the church would get together and make sure you and your family were fed until you were back on your feet. When the state came in and took over the core duties of the Christian community, it struck a fatal blow to the Christianity itself.

          • Korpiklaani

That makes a lot of sense, it’s the racial self degradation coming from the church that I really don’t get, to many churches are 501c3 totally controlled by the Fed.Gov. so the usual suspects are most likely to blame.

          • World_War_Me

YESSSSS! Dude, you f’ing RULE. This is the most apt, inpenetrable argument against Xianity in favor of Paganism I’ve ever read. You are DAMN straight Christians these days are WORTHLESS in the struggle against islam and diversity kult. Makes me want to f’ing puke. Thank you, sir.

        • Korpiklaani

          Also, you worship a ZOMBIE!

          • Sozo

No, zombies rot and decay. Jesus calls Himself “the Life”. In our Scriptures, it was said to the Father, a prophesy concerning Jesus: “YOU WILL NOT LET YOUR HOLY ONE SEE DECAY”.

When Christ’s body was in the tomb and His spirit was in the place the Greeks call Hades, he was preaching to the souls of all humans who had died up to that point in time. His body did not decay and was preserved by virtue of His power. Remember, this is the God who said “I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW.”

What did Odin say, to compete with this? What does Odin promise anyone? Doesn’t Odin get eaten by a wolf, and his son gets eaten by a snake, at the end of time? Instead of following mascot-gods who die to snakes, you should follow the ever-living God who casts the snake and his angels into hell.

          • Korpiklaani

No Thor kills the snake, see you haven’t read the Eddas. Besides Odin is 100 times cooler then any other made up deity.

          • Sozo

The snake dies, but Thor dies too. So actually I’m correct, he loses to a snake. Yeah, I’m pretty sure Thor and Odin get eaten by animals. I think the life-giving God who defeats death and serpents has the advantage.

Odin is a man-made god, a mascot who looks like the people who made him, no different from Amaterasu or Shiva or Zeus. Odin can’t give anyone eternal life, or even save himself.

          • World_War_Me

Why don’t you save your smug, know-it-all, self-righteousness for your real enemy: islam. Or is that idea too challenging and scary for you so you instead attack a white person who is following a path that is ZERO threat to you and your belief system? You are a phony and a coward.

“Human beings have a long history of discounting and devaluing difference, finding it offensive or even evil. “

Human beings have evolved to recognize people who are like them and people who are different. It’s no different from a humming bird recognizing a humming bird and a cardinal recognizing a cardinal. It’s the reason we have hundreds of different kinds of birds instead of just one.

There’s nothing evil about it. It’s animal nature. It’s what gave us biological diversity. People like this woman don’t understand biological diversity. They are the enemies of biological diversity. They would destroy the diversity God (or evolution) created.

  • Acts 16:16-34

    King James Version (KJV)

16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:

17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

19 And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers,

20 And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,

21 And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.

22 And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them.

23 And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:

24 Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.

27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.

28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.

29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,

30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

34 And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

Irish- Light complexion, red, and/or light brown/auburn hair, maybe blonde usually “dirty” blonde, light eyes usually green or grey, sometimes blue. Very feminine facial features ex. small noses, big “doe” eyes, rosy red cheeks with sexy little freckle, thin pink lips that like to smile, an aura of innocence, and beauty.

“Tribe”- What you see in picture above.

Male homosexuality is classified as a sin in the old and new testaments; the Bible is silent on lesbianism. I think this bishop is more of an abomination to Christ Jesus than any sodomite.

    • Gay Black Man

Bigotry is denounced in the bible as well. You need to examine the Bible from a holistic perspective as opposed to the selective, discriminatory manner that you have done.

I have argued with you over the past year and a half. It is obviously that you are hopelessly homophobic.

          • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

So what if he is? What’s it too you? You think that everyone has to like you or your life style? I come from a more live and let live orientation, but blacks belong in Africa and homosexuals out of my sight and life. Why don’t you think about leaving US alone?

          • Gay Black Man

Actually, given our extensive involvement and assistance in helping build this nation while being economically, psychologically and culturally exploited coupled being denied granted true equality, Black Americans have as much right to citizenship in this nation as anyone else. Moreover, we have been here longer than most other ethnic groups. These facts alone gives us a moral right to be here. In regards to my sexual orientation and lifestyle, I don’t expect or care if bebe ( I believe bebe is female) or anyone else approves. I do, however, expected to be treated as a human being with dignity and respect like any other person and not be discriminated against or disregarded due to my sexuality or lifestyle..

          • Sozo

You haven’t built or contributed one thing to the United States, not to her economy, infrastructure, or technology. All you do is commit crimes and demand welfare.

The most economically blacks have ever contributed was to the Confederate system, which was entirely based slave labor and one crop: cotton. Once that failed, blacks were not of any use and many went north looking for work.

P.S. If you’re so equal, why don’t you prove it instead of whining about how persecuted you are? Why don’t you blacks feed yourselves, make your own cures for your own diseases, and contribute to something other than the crime rate?

          • Gay Black Man

You obviously have a severe dearth of knowledge in regards to American History.

        • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

Show me where discrimination is in the Bible. The New Testament is what counts for Christians and it is NOT there. IN fact, just the opposite. Christianity has no favored race and all people are viewed as the same and invited to join in the grand delusion.

      • David Ashton

I am not a Christian, and regard the collection of documents known as “the Bible” from a rationalist viewpoint. I also think that many homosexuals are born that way (it is an unfortunate reproductive disability influenced by prenatal hormone dosage) and we must tolerate their private behavior, though practices like anal fisting or felching seem pretty disgusting. I oppose “gay marriage” legislation in Britain because it does impact adversely on heterosexual matrimony with its parenthood dimension. But there is no doubt that the “New Testament” like the “Old” opposes same-gender sexual activity, and the neglected writings by Robert Gagnon and Stephen Green have established this beyond reasonable doubt.

      • Sherman_McCoy

“Bigotry is denounced in the bible as well.”

        Where?

        • Gay Black Man

The Bible say “woe to thy brother who abides in racism.”

          • Where does it say that?

          • Sozo

“Racism” is a made up word by Leftard Nutzis who are also champion hypocrites. Even the concept is not in the Bible, a series of books that condemns homosexuality every time it’s mentioned.

      • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

The problem is that the Bible forces you to do both, which is impossible, which is one reason why it is an impossible religion functionally and why so much bad blood has always existed in and around it.

    • WhiteKnight

The bible, especially the New Testament, is very clearly against lesbianism. Go read the writings of Saint Paul. He condemned female homosexuals as well as male homosexuals.

      • Rhialto

Not quite! Reference http://www.openbible.info/topics/lesbianism. The bible condems women egaging in sinful sexual activities, but does not specify gal on gal action.

There are churches that reject lesbian adherents, but that is church law not Devine law.

    • Andy

It mentions it in one place, talking about how “even the women take up with each other” or something right while it’s discussing a list of sins including homosexuality.

    • bebe

I thought the Bible does speak of man not lying with man, nor woman with woman? Just saying not lying man with man would be enough to KNOW God meant also woman not lying with woman…that only makes sense.

Why are Christians such intellectual cowards? Many churches have started teaching White Europeans that Jesus was black, I mean seriously, the religion has morphed into a vessel of self loathing and white guilt, what good does a religion do teaching white children they were born into sin, and are inherently bad? People wonder where “White guilt” came from, well it came from Christian doctrine.

    • bebe

Read this site and you will understand more of why this is happening to White Christians.

      http://cambriawillnotyield.wordpress.com/

    • Sozo

You’ve got it backwards. White countries and areas of the US where faith in the Christ is weakest, are the most racially dead and stupid. See the athiest’s comment above about how all the athiests he meets are mega left wingers. The west and east coast in the USA basically hate Christianity, so instead of worshipping Jesus they worship MLK Jr.

The European countries where belief in Jesus is strongest, are also strongest in resisting Leftard Multikult. For example, Poland, Russia, Greece (whose Golden Dawn is openly Christian), etc.

The problem with Christianity is not its beliefs, but its leadership. Again, like most White countries, the leaders are rotten!

‘Tis a pity that God does not seek absolute dispensation from this bishop before commission of His wayward deeds.

Closely allied to and often one and the same as the conservatives are
the members of the Christian right. I would not call them Christian or
rightist, but the liberal media who calls anyone to the right of
themselves Christian right-wingers does call them that. The Roman
Catholic Church and the mainstream Protestant churches have been in
favor of white genocide through massive colored immigration and
inter-racial marriage for quite some time. The “Christian right” has
only jumped on board in recent years, becoming more militantly
anti-white and pro-colored since Romney’s defeat. What are we to make of
such goings on amongst the Christian right? In this case the obvious
answer is the correct answer. The Christian right is not Christian.
    Let’s go through this carefully.

Read the rest on the link below. If anyone here is as pro_white as they say, then they need to read this site everyday. It will help explain about the real White man’s religion….Christendom.

Read it and weep. I have read and enjoyed so much of the writings on this site, as a true White Christian.

“God Among us in human form”

This “bishop” is probably just a coal-burner whose boyfriend turned her onto “nation of gods and earths” (5% Nation) material about the black people being gods, being the original man and all that garbage. It’s an offshoot of Nation of Islam that deifies black boys and girls. A lot of coalburning white women get into this delusional mystical crap and start hating their own race and parents thinking that whites are devils. A friend of mine in my college dorm once tried earnestly to convince me that her black boyfriend was a god and I should worship a little black lingam statue like her and her coalburning friends. That was before I ever knew about WN.

I think this bishop needs to go back to her lingam shrine.

I’ve told this story on this site once before, but When I lived in downtown St.Louis I stepped in to save a white woman who was getting beat by her black buck. As I had this guy on the ground, and was pounding him she showed her appreciation by knifing me up bad enough to need 41 stitches. It was the single most painful experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve broken my foot, arm, and nose(several times).

I’ve never even been on a college campus, but that story is horrifying, I’ve seen it first hand though, a lot of White women DO in fact worship the black afropithicus, the missing link between man and primate is turning the most beautiful creatures(us) into a brown mystery meat “Undermench”, and White women are not only allowing it they are pushing to exterminate their own people. If God is real how will these women answer the question “What gave you the right to destroy what I THE CREATOR created, why did you murder you own race, vanished, gone, lost to time immortal, Why?”

I hope I get to see them try to answer in the here-after. It would be hilarious standing above the gates of Valhalla watching the race mixers getting thrown of the rainbow bridge for their failure to explain their racial trespasses.

“Salvation comes not from being cleansed of our sins by the atoning
sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, but through the divinization of
humanity through the work of the human will.”

“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And
changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to
corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping
    things.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own
hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who
changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the
creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women
did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And
likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in
their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is
unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error
    which was meet.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being
filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness,
    maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity;
whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” Romans 1:23-32

Yes, we are in the last days, indeed. Just like the last days of Rome. That’s the point of Christianity that the “bishop” fails to understand — all of this is ephemeral. Remember, it was the government of the “diverse” Roman Empire that executed Jesus for political purposes. And the “diverse” government today will do the same to you or me if we don’t “go along with the program.” Whatever Anglicanism is, it sure as hell isn’t Christianity anymore.

  • mrcan

Paul’s a male chauvinist for releasing a girl from demon bondage? These lefties are more loonie than I imagined. They completely invert reality. if he had no compassion he would have left her in bondage. This bishop needs to see Maurice Cerullo to be healed.

Looks like a lesbian to me. They have a certain “look”…that is why I believe homosexuality is largely genetic. Even gay men have a certain look to them. Eugenics works folks…

A sort of watery, piggy look?

    • David Ashton

There are at least two “born gay” looks: the Dirk Bogarde/Jeremy Thorpe type and the Peter Mandelson/Boy George type, though you cannot always tell. Maybe they indicate who goes on top, so to speak. Usually no surprise when told. Plenty of examples in the entertainment world.

  • StillModerated

… people come to recognize that different is not the same thing as wrong…..

I guess the only sin in her Bible is racism; and possibly intolerance.

  • JohnEngelman

I was raised as an Episcopalian, but I left the Episcopal Church for the Anglican Church.

    http://anglicanchurch.net/

Most people do not see any point in attending a church where the sermons are polemics against the Bible, and where it is not clear that the minister believes in God.

    • David Ashton

This switch must be quite recent to judge from your previous posts.

      • JohnEngelman

On a number of occasions I have expressed on this website my nuanced opinion about diversity. I am in favor of allowing it to happen. I am opposed to enforcing it by law.

If people are allowed to live where they want to and can afford to many will choose to live in neighborhoods that are multi ethnic and multi racial. This is particularly true of young professionals.

If employers are allowed to hire who they want to hire most will hire on the basis of merit, rather than race, religion, sexual orientation, and ethnicity. This is particularly true for employers in high tech companies.

I am opposed to affirmative action policies.

  • JohnEngelman

Responses posted on the Episcopal Church’s website to the Presiding Bishop’s sermon have been uniformly harsh, noting her interpretation was at odds with traditional Christian teaching, grammar, and logic. “This is quite possibly some if the most delusional exegesis I’ve ever read in my life,” one critic charged. “I’m sorry, but this sermon is not a Christian sermon.”

The reception by bloggers has been equally unkind.

    I’m glad.

During the War in Vietnam draft exemptions were given to seminary students. As a result many men entered the clergy of mainline Protestant denominations who were not appropriate candidates. They were intelligent, compassionate, and caring, but more suited for the helping professions, like social work, poverty law, and teaching in inner city schools.

I don’t know why people are so surprised by this. In the NT Jesus says in Mark 16:15 : Then He said to them, “Go the whole world over, and proclaim the Good News to all mankind”. Christianity has always been a universal religion and will always be pro diversity due to this. And it will never be a friend to pro white ideas.

    • Obviously, you’ve never heard of kinism.

Good article on faithandheritage .com about the majority of white South Africans who are so brainwashed that they deny there is a white genocide taking place. They get brainwashed by the media and churches.

    • Ralph

Right. Universal religions and philosophies, by definition, include all humans.

Whites need to get away from such false views of reality and adopt particularist views that are based on the truth that all life branches off from other forms and that when it does so, those who branch off, if they want to to continue on their path which logically leads to full specieshood, must not blend in with those unlike them.

Because of our brains, we humans can understand the possible paths of evolution and we can guide our own evolution in directions that we believe will be best for us.

We need to start doing that and it begins by knowing a little about evolution and then by living the lessons learned each and every day.

  • Sherman_McCoy

So, being a lesbo bishop means that she can criticize St. Paul? What a tool!

  • THE MAN

    This is a perfect example of why Paul said in 1 Timothy Chapter 3 verse 1,2 This is a true saying ,If a man desire the office of a bishop ,he desireth a good work . A bishop then must be blameless ,the husband of one wife ,vigilant ,sober ,of good behavior ,given to hospitality,apt to teach ;

  • Ralph

Most Christian churches are now Churches of What’s Happen’ Now Baby! They worship man, not God. Christianity is weak glue for Whites, and the sooner we, as individual Whites, incorporate religious views that are one with our Whiteness and which trump any other views, the better off we’ll be.

Our primary and most important identity is our Whiteness. Spit on anyone who lets religious views trump that White identity, because they are weak seeds.

The New Commandments: 1. You shall have any gods but God, preferably none. 2. You shall not honor parenthood, so your people do not survive long in their land. 3. You shall kill unborn babies, unless they have hereditary defects. 4-9. You shall not commit racism, sexism, homophobia, trans-phobia, elitism, or patriotism. 10. You shall covet your neighbor’s ass if you are that way inclined.

  • Clement Pulaski

” she, too, shares in God’s nature, just as much as he does – maybe more so!”

This is the essence of liberal logic: we’re all fully human, except for the white patriarchy, which is less human than the oppressed.

  • Jotun Hunter

though I have seen them posting on here from time to time – I have never in person met a woman who was not a socialist and a diversity-monger. They are just hard wired for that kind of easy compassion solution. They have a softness inside and hide away from the ‘survival of the fittest’ or ‘dog eat dog’ underlying nature to life. The men bring them their meat and they turn a blind eye to confrontation and death.

    • David Ashton

As a generalization this is true. But most women will be hard when their babies or children are threatened, and race realists should use this. Not all women in politics are particularly soft, especially the lesbian types, but it is true that a woman’s best and most self-satisfying place is in the home. Left-wing enfranchisement of females has produced some unexpectedly right-wing results.

      • Jotun Hunter

that’s true – I feel there needs to be a return to the recognition that the gender wars are constructed. Not that there isn’t a kind of perpetual war between men and women, as there are between the races, the religions, or to a certain degree between two or more men in any situation. There is a kind of unavoidable vying for power in any situation involving more than one person. But throughout all of history until the 60’s a womans power lay in her looks and in her power as head home maker and care giver. These are where her talents lie – not to say 1/1000 are not Valkyries, but it is probably a ratio not unlike that. nowadays we are forced to assume they are all Valkyries – I have not seen a woman portrayed in a movie since the 80’s as anything less than a kick boxing neuroscientist incapable of fear of any kind. So many white women actually believe the white man is their ultimate enemy and enslaver, and that he was so for all the earth, simply because he was the most gifted creature the world has yet produced. They have been told they were under represented in history due to oppression. Now that they get preferential treatment we have this influx of desperate, weepy non judgemental decision making. There is something desperately effeminate about political correctnes, it is somehow tied up with the rise of feminisim in a truly desperate and dangerous way. We desperately need to be able to openly say to our wives, as men even in the 70’s could do: this is no place for a woman.

  • I would rather go to the deepest Pit in Hell than this thing’s “Heaven”.

Wow…..you rarely hear it as bluntly as that.

Christianity is failing among whites for one reason and one reason only. All of our churches have been infiltrated and taken over by those who have abandoned Christ and now engage in negro-worship.

The expert on this phenomenon writes the Cambria Will Not Yield blog. Read his rather prolific writings to know more about this issue that you can probably take.
