Experts Say More Cubans Arriving in U.S.

Breitbart, November 24, 2012

The number of Cubans arriving in the United States without visas has risen sharply in the past year, U.S. officials say.

There has been a surge in Cubans traveling to the United States from other countries—including Spain, Ecuador, Mexico and Canada—the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported. Greater numbers are also traveling by boat to Florida.

Under the “wet foot, dry foot” policy, Cubans intercepted at sea can be returned there, but those who make it to U.S. soil are free to stay. That means those who arrive by air or cross a land border are safe.

About 20,000 Cubans arrive every year on scheduled flights from Havana with visas. No one keeps an exact count of the others, but refugee groups estimate it is about 10,000 a year.

The Coast Guard detained 1,275 Cubans on boats intercepted before they reached Florida in the 12-month period ending Sept. 30. That was the highest number since 2008.

“The influx of Cubans into the U.S. is increasing,” said Ernesto Cuesta, who runs programs for Haitian and Cuban refugees for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops in Miami. The young people we are seeing are desperate. There is no hope in Cuba.”

Just wait until the rickety house of Cuban cards come crashing down & the whole country moves to Miami to live with their cousins. Is anyone dumb enough to think that stateside Cubans are going leave their comfortable suburban American stripmall existence to go back & try to rebuild an island in ruins after 60 years in a communist deepfreeze?

The only thing left over there are the darkies and mulattoes too dumb to float a Buick. They’ll be here for welfare after Castro dies.

“Wet foot, dry foot,” is as insane as the visa lottery, or any other plan that allows the invasion of our country. But then, it’s been a long time since we could accuse anyone in Washington of having any sense about immigration. They’re falling all over each other trying to give away our country. I’m waiting for someone to tell the millions of unemployed Americans why they can’t work because of our elected officials are busy giving the jobs to foreigners.

The Cubans are coming? Oh good, more Republicans!

What an insane policy that will send home Cuban refugees if they are stopped on sea, but allows them to remain on American soil if they happen to make it to land! This must have come from the polluted mind of some over-educated DWL bureaucrat in Washington. This is just another example of how Whites completely undermine their own race, their own culture and everything else the founders of our country gave to us.

    Yes, and Miami needs them!
