An 8-year-old Bronx schoolboy was arrested Tuesday after being accused of slashing a 9-year-old with a double-edged razor blade during a lunchtime altercation.

The incident took place at P.S. 132 in the Morrisania section of the borough. The blade was recovered in the school’s playground, police said.

School officials said the two male students exchanged words before the younger one used a razor to slash the other in the neck. The wound required stitches at Bronx Lebanon Hospital.

One parent who spoke with 1010 WINS’ Al Jones said she was not surprised about the incident involving such young children.

“It’s more than that. I hear a lot going on—even 6-year-olds, 7-year-olds—learning from the oldest,” she said.

It is the same school where the principal cancelled fifth grade graduation earlier in the month because of bad behavior.

[Editor’s Note: This website indicates there are 254 black, 286 Hispanic, and 7 white students at PS 132.]

This school has truly achieved diversity.

Not to nitpick, but I disagree: it won’t achieve true, beautiful, pure diversity until it rids itself of the 7 blue-eyed devils that still attend.  Are their parents INSANE?!

      • mikejones91

Yeah, I know lol. I guess so. There are plenty of white areas in NYC.

They keep the White kids there to show the Diversity what hateful, racist unearned White privilege looks like in person.

Don’t worry – by the time you read this comment, it’ll be down to 6.
        Tomorrow, it’ll be 5. Etc.
(Due to assaults by the noble minority children simply protecting themselves from the ‘horror’ of being dissed (in only their own little minds).)

You really have to question the state of mind of their parents. I would immediatly report them for child abuse.

Yes, it’s so wrong for 8- and 9-year old hardened vets to stab each other, because you don’t want to be setting a bad example for the young’ens.

    Really now.

Fifth grade graduation?  Why?  Maybe because for some of these students, this will be their last graduation ceremony.

When I look back on things, I’m very glad I went to a 95 percent White elementary school in a rural area, and lived in a county that WAS over 90 percent White ( about 80 percent now) and relatively well-off as well.  This was just 15 years ago.

    • Yea amazing to think people can leave their cars running when they go to a convencience store

I went to a private military academy 72-76….we had very little diversity at all…..tow AA brothers come to mind, very loud, ‘hip’, etc……they both went on to med school……I saw last year that they were both facing prison time for medicaid fraud….In Chicago no less…..well into the millions of dollars….

I look back and see myself going to two schools which were 100% white/English and living in a small Oxfordshire country town that was 99.999% white/English. We had a charming French lady living amongst us at that time, so that is why our town was not 100% white/English.
I saw the first black person when I was thirteen years old. He was an American serviceman.

  • Get these 7 out. What are their parents, morons, alcoholics, druggies, …?

    • Rocky Bass,

I think the word is “Black”.

I feel sorry for the 7 white kids who are forced to attend such a school. If they as slashing each other at 8 and 9 who knows what they might be doing when they are in junior high or high school.

    •  Follow the link in the article to the earlier one about fifth grade graduation being canceled.  It reads to me like the fifth graders are already prepared for gang life.

    Typical ghetto skoo:

Feinberg conceded there have been other “incidents of fighting” at P.S. 132 this year.

This is also the school where two secretaries were busted for stealing $200,000 and blowing the dough on clothes and other goodies.

And it’s the school that was sued two years ago after administrators sicced police on a third-grader who had tussled with a classmate — and marched the child off in handcuffs like a common criminal before her stunned classmates.
