NC Legislator’s Wife: Same Sex Marriage Ban Protects ‘Caucasian Race’

David Ferguson, Raw Story, May 2, 2012

Jodie Brunstetter, the wife of North Carolina state legislator Peter Brunstetter told poll workers that her husband authored the state’s anti-same sex marriage law Amendment One to “protect the Caucasian race” and save the U.S. Constitution from “activist judges,” according to Chad Nance’s reporting for Yes! magazine.

Nance, who has resigned his post as campaign manager to a Democratic candidate for the state legislature to come forward with this story, was working as a volunteer poll worker Tuesday at an early voting location in downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Another poll worker, identified as “Michael” approached him with concerns about a woman who was arguing with opponents of Amendment One.

“Michael” and other poll workers who witnessed the discussion said that the woman identified herself as the wife of State Senator Peter Brunstetter. “During the conversation, Ms. Brunstetter said her husband was the architect of Amendment 1, and one of the reasons he wrote it was to protect the Caucasian race. She said Caucasians or whites created this country. We wrote the Constitution. This is about protecting the Constitution. There already is a law on the books against same-sex marriage, but this protects the Constitution from activist judges,” “Yes!” reported.

Excellent! Now let us see if she and her husband will stand their ground when the inevitable Leftist attacks begin.

  • haroldcrews

Nothing she said should be considered controversial.  Haven’t blacks been complaining incessantly that until the 1960’s they were cut out of all ranks of society other than servile labor?  If that is true then the US was created by whites.  Of course once again blacks want to have it both ways; to have been both exploited as servile labor and to have been contributors in creating the US.

Frankly I am shocked she even stated this. I understand where she is coming from on this issue. However, my point is this: In reality “banning” same sex marraige does NOT protect the White Race at all. “Gay” people will still be gay and therefore do NOT contribute to the population of the White race.

  • No

    God bless her.

Yes, Mr Black Savage, yes, Ms White Lib and yes, Mr Snotty Guy Making Video . . . we do not want to see our people disappear.  What a shocker, huh?  We whites are proud of our whiteness, we’re proud of our accomplishments and we want to see our descendants inherit a pristine white world.

I’m sorry to see her back down.  Sad, but understandable.  She was badgered for minutes and seemed to wallow in fear.  Sad when a decent white woman can’t speak the truth.

  • Francis Galton

No offense, but have any of you even WATCHED the video?  It’s basically one long he-said/she-said, where the legislator’s wife keeps tergiversating over what she did or did not say, and she eventually claims that heat stroke is affecting her memory of what she said.  She is NEVER seen saying what she is alleged to have said (trying saying that ten times!).  Frankly, I’m mostly disgusted by this video, because the two other Whites in this video (I’m including the cameraman) seem shocked at the idea that Whites should vote in a racially conscious manner.  Lord knows we can’t have that!  Why, we might be seen as RAYCISS AND SHEEEEEET!

As the pressures and outrages keep mounting, we’ll eventually get a pent up outburst like this from someone genuinely powerful, and they will be reelected on the strength of the surge of White support.

Others will get the message that explicit racism can get them into office and keep them there, and they will crawl to Jared Taylor for endorsements.   Sounds impossible, but so would Diversity Rule to our grandfathers.  One bizzarre turn deserves another.

“Change is a constant, so you can always change it back. All you need to do is keep pushing, and one day, the other side has a weak moment, just like all sides eventually do, and if you are pushing on that day, you can push through.  When you finally win, build your own walls bigger and stronger than you did last time, and post more trained guards…”

After you take out the enemy first and put their heads on pikes as a warning to future generations.

  • “She said Caucasians or whites created this country.”

Uh, we did.  Has the author of this article ever read a history book?  My guess is no.

    • ed91

unfortunately, there are history books that would be better being called propaganda books.

  • The thesis is weird: how will ban on homosex marriage protect Whites ? Gays will be gays & continue their lives …. Weird.

Now, sterilization of Black & Hispanic rapists, that’s another story, but this …

    • IstvanIN

I am not in favor of “gay marriage” as such but the main thrust of all this anti-gay hysteria is so that conservatives can prove how conservative they are.  They get their conservative street cred without touching the issues that are really taking us down.  Poltical diversion.

  • ed91

to put that argument as conservative is incorrect…………

in fact, it was irrational to put it there.

    • Larry Klein

That’s only if you buy the premise that being gay is 100% genetic, 0% choice. I don’t believe that. People are capable of doing all kinds of things. Maybe some people are a little weaker and more predisposed to being gay, but there’s still choice involved. We shouldn’t persecute gays, it’s a “free country”, but at the same time we shouldn’t go out of our way to encourage people to be gay.

      • IstvanIN

Homosexuals (as opposed to homosexual acts) are born. Not all birth “defects”, for lack of a better word, are genetic.  Probably due to some failure of the brain to fully masculinize during the 1st trimester when testosterone is released.

  • sbuffalonative

Her heart may be in the right place but she clearly didn’t think this through.

There have always been a small minority of homosexuals in every race. Allowing same sex marriage will have no impact on Caucasian reproduction.

It’s not as if keeping same sex marriage illegal is going to force homosexuals into straight marriages and have them reproduce because, since they can’t get married to each other, they’re going to enter into heterosexual relationships and have children.

Her argument against SSM is poorly reasoned though as I said, her concern about white reproduction rates is valid (as are her comments about White American history).

Unfortunately, this only made her look foolish and gave the Left another target of ridicule.

  • If she were concerned with “protecting” the White race, she would advocate ending welfare to black and Hispanics, which amounts to subsidizing the reckless breeding habits of said groups. Whites will continue to struggle to start their own families, while our government usurps our tax dollars and uses it to our detriment. Putting the military on our border and enforcing immigration law will also help. The 1965 Hart-Cellar Act would also need to be repealed, as well as affirmative action.

  • ageofknowledge

It’s so strange to think that Christian church services were held in almost every federal building once upon a time in this country including the U.S. Supreme Court chambers and the Senate and that even Thomas Jefferson used to attend them. That’s how far we’ve “progressed.”

  • They can be fixed just as the Germans discovered. Gays into the furnaces and ashes come out.

    • IstvanIN

      You are truly sick.

  • Larry Klein

These people think they’re breaking the Watergate Scandal or something. The gays can scream and pout all they want, the Ammendment is going to pass. Turns out the blacks and Hispanics defect from the coalition when it comes to the issue of “gay rights.”  There’s not enough white hipsters around to compensate. I was mildly supportive of the Ammendment until getting irritated by the downright dishonest advertisements put out by the pro gay side. Now I will vote for it for sure.

    • IstvanIN

Remember, blacks and latinos go for anything anti-white as well.  Muslims go for anything anti-anybody else.  The enemy of my enemy is NOT my friend.

  • blight14

The comments following the original article were sickening to say the least…..we indeed have an uphill battle…

  • The entire gay issue is overblown way out of proportion. Really serious things- racial swamping, wild promiscuity, abysmal White birth rate, divorce laws, teen sex & pregnancy, brainwashing about “White guilt”, media manipulation re miscegenation & IR crime, evasion of serious talk about education, from elementary school to the post doc, immigration both legal & illegal, affirmative action, ……. are either glossed over or rarely addressed adequately.

  • Sorry about that Amren.  I posted the mantra here on accident thinking I was at the original article for this story.  I realize that you already know the mantra.  Erase as you see fit.
