Mike Tyson on George Zimmerman: ‘It’s a Disgrace He Hasn’t Been Shot Yet’

Dylan Stableford, Yahoo! News, April 12, 2012

Mike Tyson thinks that George Zimmerman deserves violent retribution for the shooting of Trayvon Martin.

In an interview with Yahoo News about his upcoming one-man show in Las Vegas, the former heavyweight champion sounded off on the polarizing case:

“My personal feeling is that, as a young kid that was beat on by a bully, that was pretty much singled out—the guy [Zimmerman] stalked him, didn’t follow instructions from a superior officer, when they said, ‘Stop following the kid.’ That tells you everything right there. But my all-around perspective, I wasn’t there, I don’t know what happened. But it’s just so widespread and overt what happened. Even though this is the best country in the world, certain laws in this country are a disgrace to a nation of savages. It’s a majority versus a minority. That’s the way God planned it. He didn’t want to do something about it, He wanted us to do something about it. And if we don’t, it’s gonna stay this way. We have to continue tweeting, we have to continue marching, we have to continue fighting for Trayvon Martin. If that’s not the case, he was killed in vain, and we’re just waiting for it to happen to our children. He’ll have gotten away with impunity. It’s a disgrace that man hasn’t been dragged out of his house and tied to a car and taken away. That’s the only kind of retribution that people like that understand. It’s a disgrace that man hasn’t been shot yet. Forget about him being arrested—the fact that he hasn’t been shot yet is a disgrace. That’s how I feel personally about it.”

In 1992, Tyson was convicted of raping Desiree Washington, a beauty pageant contestant, and served three years in prison.

I’ve never liked Tyson much, but I always thought he was framed for the rape. Now I truly hope that he was.

    • The_Bobster

Framed? He raped dozens of women, but it didn’t make the news because those women took the payoff to keep quiet.

      • Rocky Bass

Hey Bobster, don’t know if you will be alerted to this reply or not. I was over at newnation and could not log in. I think I signed up there as Fool_4 some months back but was unable to get in.

    • 20670

ha ha…I thought he did not deserve jail for the so-called rape, but should have served time for some things…guess you said it best.

  • IstvanIN

Well Mike Tyson surely is one of Amerika’s foremost intellectuals an’ sheet.

    • The_Bobster

When he’s not out raping or biting people’s ears off.

    •  His brother-in-law?  Michael Steele, whose stellar Chairmanship of the RNC was typified by a black underling using the RNC credit cards at a lesbian bondage boobie bar, (thereby letting the world know that there are such establishments).  That piqued my curiosity to know what goes on at lesbian bondage boobie bars, but I backed off because I fear it’s the kind of thing that once I see, I can never un-see, even if I go all Oedipus Rex.

Good Golly I have been sheltered all my life!  New one on me.

        • Rational_Liberal

Ha! We have one here in Atlanta. Good times!

    • tickyul

He is now a member of the Vegancult, makes him even dumber than before.

      • Rational_Liberal

Oh, stop. No need to insult vegans. Where does that get you?

  • No

And I should care what this grunting, monosyllabic, punch-drunk, convicted rapists says, why?

Who’s offering his opinion next, Big Bird?

How about “Lisa Ann” . . . top rated porn star of 2011?

Now THERE’S someone whose opinion counts!

  • We all know that Mike Tyson is not, and never has been, wrapped very tight. Just read the quotes from his mouth in this article and you can see that. But I’ll bet many blacks — and stupid, self-hating Whites — who read the interview are nodding their heads and saying, “Yeah! ‘At’s right, brother!” We have handed our sporting world over to the feral black underclass in this country, and now they’ve all become philosophers — about how to “kill Whitey.”

    • bluffcreek1967

Good point! Your comments reminded me of how this country has indeed handed the sporting world over to the Black underclass! Gee, that’s really worked out well, hasn’t it? It’s amazing (and completely frustrating) to see how Black athletes are fawned over by Whites, and how they are given a platform to speak on every social issue that comes along. It becomes laughable though when these same Black athletes can barely articulate a coherent sentence!

    • Rational_Liberal

Actually, I think most smart people from the right and the left read that and shook their heads.

  • Hirschibold

It has come to this. We are supposed to take moral cues, with a straight face, from a man who bit another man’s ear off, left his unsupervised child alone to die, and makes so many verbal gaffes that Al Sharpton sounds like Oscar Wilde, comparatively speaking. Schwarzenegger was given some token job within the Bush administration; perhaps Tyson can help Michelle with her physical fitness nanny state project.

    • Rational_Liberal

And what job was that that Schwarzenegger got in the Bush administration? Hmm?

      • Hirschibold

Pushups, primarily. Let me guess, you’re going to defend lame stream conservatism, now.

        • Rational_Liberal

I wanted to be sure you weren’t actually saying that W. appointed Arnold as Governor of California.

    • Rational_Liberal

Y’know, you really don’t help your cause by saying things like nanny state project. There is plenty of real stuff to criticize, and I will be right there with you. Keep it real.

  • JohnEngelman

When George Foreman began his comeback he spoke at a church in Folsom, California. I had him dedicate one of my Bibles. If he had defeated Mike Tyson in the ring I would have felt that I had died and gone to Heaven.

I never liked Mike Tyson, but I will give him credit for one thing. When he was the heavyweight champion you knew who the heavyweight champion was. Unlike Big George he never dodged anyone.

    • Hirschibold

George was a “dodger?” Foreman was the oldest man in history to win the title at the age of 44, before being supplanted by Hopkins.

      • JohnEngelman

After George Foreman won the title he threw it away because he had to fight a contender before fighting Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson fought anyone.

        • Hirschibold

At the end of the day, you have to rate the longevity of a man, as well as the feats accomplished in his prime. Tyson burned like a comet for a very narrow window (say Mitch Green to Trevor Berbick, all the way to Spinks), but he got starched by a 33-1 underdog. Foreman was a viable threat for three decades. Very, very few men can say that.

          • ed91

Foreman had a long time off after Mauhamad ali rope-a-doped him……… 15 yrs or so

You had a boxer dedicate a bible for you? Um, OK.

      Religion poisons everything.

  • Why is this punk still breathing ?

Did you see Zimmerman on TV from the hearing? He looks so Hispanic, you’d fear crossing his path. He looks like the wet backs who mow your lawn.

  • There is a small misunderstanding. His bell has been rung so many times he was answering a question from 20 min. ealrier. Q. “what did most of the fathers of the girls your raped say?”

      Exactly. Facts are facts.

“the guy [Zimmerman] stalked him, didn’t follow instructions from a superior officer, when they said, ‘Stop following the kid.'”

Did Tyson think Zimmerman was a cop or in the military?

“certain laws in this country are a disgrace to a nation of savages.”

This coming from someone who had been arrested 38 times by the time he was 13, is a convicted rapist and said the best shot he ever took was against ex-wife Robin Givens?

She really offended me and I went BAM. She flew backwards, hitting every wall in the apartment, Tyson recalled. That was the best punch I’ve ever thrown in my entire life.

“It’s a disgrace that man hasn’t been shot yet.”

Some might say it’s a disgrace that a violent rapist hasn’t been shot already.

“I’m a stupid, foolish old man, and I need to get my life together.”

This is what happens when you become ‘punch drunk’! Hmmmm, I’m curious though about all those other Blacks who said the same sort of thing against Zimmerman yet never had a career in boxing? What’s their excuse?

Wow! That video was from MSNBC’s Hardball???! I can’t help but wonder if they knew what this Dershowitz fella was going to say in advance? They better watch out, or their rabid liberal following will be howling with rage that they dare report anything with logic, fairness and reason.

  • Mike Tyson is practically a primate.  Seriously.  The “youths” and “teens” of the recent news are philosophers, physicists, and rocket scientists compared to him. Only in a nation as sick as ours would his opinions even be granted wide broadcast.

  • Don’t forget it has now been determined that skittles and tea acts as a reverse aging drug causing 6 foot + thugs to shrink to adolescence proportions.

  • KenelmDigby

The more I read about Mike Tyson, the more convinced I am that he (like many blacks), suffers from a severe psychriatric illness and/or personality disorder.
He seems to couple psychopathy with paranoid schizophrenia.
Of course, most people in the media establishment probably know this, but indulged Tyson because he earned big money for them.

    • He bit off his black opponent’s ear.  What was his name?  The black “from” England.

  • Never ever, don’t blame me for defending The Klan.  You just don’t get to have it both ways.  The Jail/Prison System will never help you (non-whites rarely learn).  Welfare (payin’ ’em off) will never help you.  The Police will not help you.  Your “president” and “department of justice” will not help you.

Only “We” can help “We”.  I myself would like to see a gaggle of White People walk down the Street and not worry.  “We” can do this easily.  All we need is to make sure that when we go out, we’re in a group.  Right now, I’m bettin’ that if we go out in groups, they won’t attack.  They won’t attack because they will sense, like a wild animal, the “prey” will fight back and the “predator” could lose.  Mostly, they want a sure bet…  You’ve never seen non-whites attack Bikers’.  Same thing.  Show and Feel, No Fear.

Back to The Klan, I could care less what they did some fifty plus years ago and speaking of, do we really know the Truth?  Everything’s so one-sided, I can’t help but discard it.  And, most importantly, when I think of all what the non-whites have put upon The White Peoples, I consider what they did to be a drop in the bucket compared to what’s been done to us.  That’s why I defend them.

Last, I cannot help but notice how all is quiet on the ENTIRE Non-White Front when it comes to anything involving White People.  This is another reason why I Defend White “racist” People.

    As for Tyson, he’s a Chicken…

  • “Truly disturbing logic” – No it’s not.  You’re caught up in the “equal” or “thinking” stuff.  You have to separate people.  Some People are unable to think so anything that comes from them should be expected.

  • JackKrak

Did Yahoo get his thoughts on the federal budget or North Korea too?

  • B

Mike Tyson is a man of great skill. Who else do you know that can make 300 million dollars and end up broke. He is every bit as dumb as he looks.

    • shmo123

My thoughts exactly. 300 million dollars down the rat hole, and now not a pot to p**s in. Incredible, absolutely incredible.

  • Bon, From the Land of Babble

I don’t think he was referring to those who listen to Michael Wiener’s “Savage Nation!”

(remember Tyson had a negative IQ BEFORE getting punch drunk from years of getting knocked around in the ring).

    Bon

  • June39

So by Tyson’s reasoning,  should all blacks who kill whites be shot? Oh…guess that’s different, huh?

  •  That’s why I keep saying that the day I started carrying a gun around regularly is the day I learned how to be a good coward.  GZ’s fault, if anything, is that he wanted to be a big hero.  If it were me in his shoes, I merely would have watched Sir Skittles.  He would have done one of two things:  A) Walked to the condo belong to his father’s girlfriend, or B) Tried to commit some crime, at which time confronting him would be far less legally hairy.

    • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

Maybe he was really fed up with his neighborhood being hit over and over.  It is hard to say what you or I would do, and it is not clear that Zim confronted Martin in the final phase of the incident when Martin demanded to know why Zim was following him.

If black youth did not have such a culture of arrogance, Martin would still be alive.

  • redshirts

“All of us have to do some soul-searching to figure out how does something like this happen. And that means that we examine the laws and the context for what happened, as well as the specifics of the incident.”  -Obama re the murdered child of whom “If I had a son, he’d look like Treyvon”

Well, I did some soul-searching, and it didn’t take much to realize that the laws and the context and specifics tell me that if I had a son, he’d look like Christopher Newsome.

  • ageofknowledge

I seem to remember reading that in Mike’s early days in Brownsville he used to run with criminals that assaulted and robbed innocent people… ah yes here’s one of those biographical articles right here: http://www.cabincreekfilms.com/press_fallenchamp.html

Obviously, if one has an emotional interest in favor of the assaulting robbing criminals rather than the innocent victims then we can expect to see responses such as that.

  • Djinn42

What would be disgraceful would be to take anything Tyson says and make it appear to be anything other than basic ignorant racist black trash speech. He has never done anything commendable, on the contrary he has been filthy mouthed and dirty violent towards women and men. Biting his opponents ear was just…..complete cowardice.
Anyone remember his comments on Sarah Palin? He is a filthy disgrace to the human species.
Here’s a little reminder of that incident.

  • 20670

uh…can you say “multiple head injuries”?

  • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

     Exactly.

  • Formerly_Known_as_Whiteplight

It isn’t clear who confronted who.  Zimmerman was well within his rights to follow anyone he wanted to, especially in his own neighborhood, where Martin was a stranger.  From everything I have read, Zim broke off the pursuit not long after he was advised to by a simple, limited authority 911 dispatcher.  Martin then approached Zim and demanded why he was following him and then punched him in the nose, etc.  Also, by law, it doesn’t matter who followed who or said what, the one who gets physical, initiates the physical assault is the one at fault.  It seems pretty clear that Martin struck Zimmerman first and last before Zimmerman used his pistol.

The other issue is the trial.  Can you imagine an unbiased jury can ever be selected?  I sorta doubt this case will ever come to trial and it looks more and more like that is the best thing…….

Because you are right; If he walks he will likely be murdered.

There are countries in Europe, France, Switzerland and I don’t know where else, that has no extradition agreement with the U.S., at least as I last knew.  But clearly, when things get to this point, another country for such people is needed.  I think this one has to collapse completely before we can have one where we will not be hounded to extinction.

  • 20670

He should be charged with the intention to *excite*…ha ha ha

  • Impertinent

Who’s really surprised when this real life cannibal tries to speak clearly? This brain dead PM with the facial markings of a jungle freak? Oh…and a rapist too.

  • Impertinent

“Martin did as he was told and stopped following him…”

And obvious correction is needed here…It was George Zimmerman that stopped….Martin wasn’t on the phone with the cops. He was doing his best to avoid them…as any experienced thug would.
