Case of Anti-White Racism on Trial in France

Johanna Decorse, Yahoo! News, December 14, 2011

As protesters massed outside, the spokeswoman for a movement representing immigrants from France’s former colonies went on trial Wednesday for allegedly insulting white French in what may be the first anti-white racism case in France.

The verdict, expected Jan. 25, may turn on a hyphen.

The trial grew out of a legal complaint from a far-right group, the General Alliance Against Racism and Respect for French and Christian Identity, Agrif, against Houria Bouteldja for using a word she invented to refer to white French that she claims was misconstrued. She was charged with “racial injury” and, if convicted, risks up to six months in prison and a maximum €25,000 ($32,500) fine, though courts usually issue far lighter sentences.

Bouteldja, of the movement Indigenes of the Republic, called native white French “souchiens” in a TV interview. The word derives from “souche,” or stock, as native white French are commonly called, but could sound like a hyphenated word meaning “lower than a dog.”

Bouteldja’s remarks on France-3 television station four years ago caused a clamor in large part because they cut straight to long-simmering issues over inequity between white French and French whose origins are in former North African and African colonies–some of whose families took up arms to help France fight during the world wars.

Her Indigenes movement, now a tiny political party, tries to fight racism and promote equal rights for people with roots in “post-colonial immigration.”

{snip}

Security at the twice-postponed trial was high as about 150 protesters gathered outside, some representing the Indigenes movement and others from several extreme-right groups such as Bloc Identitaire (Identity Bloc), fighting what they claim is the Islamization of France and Europe by Muslim immigrants. {snip}

{snip}

There was no doubt for Bernard Antony, president of Agrif and formerly a European lawmaker for the far-right National Front party. He denounced before the court what he claimed is the “racist folly” of Bouteldja and “an anti-white racism that exists and is growing.”

{snip}

Bouteldja claims she never meant to refer to native white French as being “lower than a dog.” She told the court that she spoke of “souchiens” “to criticize the French expression ‘French of stock,’ which prevents me from feeling fully French.”

    This is good, whatever the outcome. What we need is to get out there and advocate for ourselves. People need to get used to seeing us stand up for ourselves so that it doesn’t seem scandalous anymore.

    …”African and African colonies—some of whose families took up arms to help France fight during the world wars.”

    What of it? They were world wars. Were whites to fight for everyone while the others sat back and watched the battles? And check your history books for the behaviors of Africans in Europe. In WW2, they instigated a mutiny during which they ran from the front lines into field hospitals and raped the nurses. Controlling blacks, both African and America, almost required prison guards and actually did in many areas, where the blacks had to be kept behind fences under guard lest they sneak out to drink and have sex with prostitutes. Black American soldiers in WW2 presented a particular challenge in contraction of STDs.

    I happened to take a French class at the local community college a few years ago. The teacher turned out to be a non-white French citizen, married to an American. She told me one day, that the one thing she detested was “racism.” Soon after that, we were speaking of French people in general. She spoke with disdain when she mentioned for example, those French in Brittany, “Oh, they’re white people,” in the most dismissive tone.

    “between white French and French whose origins are in former North African and African colonies…”

    How is a non-white person “French?” French people are descended from a tribal background – the Frankish tribes, united under Clovis and later Charlemagne. If I move to China, am I Chinese? Let any liberal answer that with a straight face.

    Thank you. I now know the destination point for my next vacation.

    The last line this sample quotes is perhaps even more offensive than what the charges accuse her; she doesn’t even believe that native, white Frenchmen may have such an identity. Which is worse: to be lower than a dog, or to not exist at all?

    The Africans wanted the French out of their countries and end colonialism only to move to France themselves, then complain about not feeling “French.” Makes sense.

    Whenever the Germans in WW2 captured a black mercenary fighting for French pay, the mercenary was simply shot out of hand – no process at all was given.

    I was never an embracer of conspiracy theories but doesn’t this sound something like ‘controlled opposition’, i.e. they throw in a few cases like this against non-whites to convince us that all is really equal and then business as usual? I´d like to take this as a good sign, if only that it might signify that the multicults in gov’ts are noticing the uppity whites and are throwing us a bone here and there, but at this point I just don’t know anymore.

    The US saved both France and the UK twice but you will find you will not be welcome there today nor are you likely to even obtain a visa.

    I hope you enjoy yourself. However, I have read that there has been an active campaign to settle non-whites in Brittany just because some government officials noticed the whiteness of the citizens there.

    You don’t need a visa to travel to either the UK or France; your passport will do just fine.

    I looked for some pictures of this person, to me it seems clear that Houria Bouteldja is making an effort to not be “fully French”. With her skin tone and only slightly exotic caucasian features she should have little trouble assimilating into French society if she wanted to, yet she insist on wearing alien looking rags on her head and railing against the native French instead.

    The original words of Houria Bouteldja are confused. Here is the incident with the translation:

    Me, what I dislike in the way you see things, it’s that the focus is always put on popular neighborhoods: “the popular neighborhoods are in deficit of knowledge, of political awareness … we must educate them …” … ect… And this completely obscures the rest of society and its privileges. The privileges of the rest of society, and I want to say, it’s the rest of society that is to be educated. It’s the rest of society to whom it must be said, for example, if only on the question of history, it’s the rest of Western society … well … those we call, we, the “souschiens”, since they must be given a name, the Whites, to whom the history of slavery, colonization is to be taught. I always go back to this because the issue of national identity is very important. It must be shared by everyone and it is there that there’s a lack of knowledge.

    Truth is that non-Whites never call us “souschiens”. A quick internet search demonstrates that this word is used only in connection with that affair. But young non-Whites indeed say “les de souche” (those with roots [here] or those of [indigenous] stock – not an insult). I believe she is only accountable for a Freudian slip (quite telling) inside a proposal for more mind-rape. Actually, she balks to say “White” just as we are almost forbidden to say “Black”.

    Most often non-White adults say “the French” even though they often have the citizenship too. As a whole, French society is much more hypocritical than America. You eschew cautiously to say “Whites”, “Blacks”, “Arabs” and particularly “race” (big, big taboo!). That’s why “with roots” or “with origins” are used. Hip-hop is one glaring exception.

    The US saved both France and the UK twice but you will find you will not be welcome there today nor are you likely to even obtain a visa.

    Visas for the Schengen area are rarely granted to citizens of the United States because they rarely need one for short-stay requirements. Only journalists on assignment, scientists and artists in gainful employment in France are required to get one. You are good to go with a valid passport and without a visa.

    I can never mention this too much, the French don’t practice affirmative action, they define AA as discrimination. Americans look down their noses at the French, however the French believe in a purer democracy.

    AA practice gets you a dumber society and that cannot be disputed. Always accepting less qualified by “law”. A prime example is the life of our president, no real accomplishments, just AA passing and promotion.

  • white is right black is whack

    Any chance they will arrest the black dude on the tram video saying he wanted to kill white people? Any chance he will get death threats or have his kids taken from him since ‘hate’ is against the law there? I’m more mad at whites for tolerating this hatred against us than the blacks who are hateful. Stand up to these bigoted blacks and liberals and others who hate us and want us dead. Don’t give your money to these people. Tell them you will stop doing business with people you think are anti white. Whites, start having more kids and teach your kids about the evils that other races have done to us.
