KTLA (San Bernardino), April 22, 2011
Police have arrested a man suspected in the brutal attack of a disabled man on a San Bernardino bus.
Ronald Jackson, 44, was already in a San Bernardino County jail for a carjacking-related arrest on April 11, one day after the beating, according to police.
In the minutes leading up to the attack, police say the suspect was confrontational with passengers on the bus, and then he attacked an innocent disabled bystander because the man was talking to himself.
The victim, who suffers from autism, was hit and kicked repeatedly before taking off on foot.
