Boy Accused of Robbing Another Child at Gunpoint

A young boy was taken into police custody Monday after reportedly robbing another youngster at gunpoint.

The call came in around 3:00 p.m. at 43rd and Ascot in South Los Angeles.

Police say the culprit turned out to be a boy around 10-years-old.

According to investigators, the boy robbed another youngster at gunpoint.

It was not immediately known what the boy stole.

While shots were fired, police say, no one was hurt.

Police did not say where the boy had gotten the gun.
