White teachers are defamed by liberals’ lore
which claims their doubts depress black students’ scores.
It seems the hackneyed reasoning of cults
where whites are Eve to whom we trace all fault
has triumphed in debates on racial gaps.
Systemic racism is quite the trap.
But are white attitudes truly to blame?
Black pupils taught by blacks perform the same.
We pride ourselves on science but revert
to superstition when its findings hurt
our hopes for man with some unwelcome truth.
We can’t accept low test scores from black youth,
and say instead black students would score high,
but teachers give their wards the Evil Eye.
