Girl, 15, Charged With Murder After Man Pushed From Moving CTA Train

A 15-year-old girl was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of a man who was pushed from a moving CTA Red Line train Monday.

Police originally thought the man had jumped off a moving Red Line train, but it was later determined that he was pushed off the train.

The man struck the electrified third rail and became incapacitated and was later hit by a moving train. {snip}

After a subsequent investigation, it was determined the man was actually pushed from the train by three unknown individuals during an altercation onboard. {snip}
