The best thing whites can do is organize a legitimate socipolitical group - with fund raising, a large war chest and hired lawyers. Then, it needs to be mainstreamed into white households across America. It then needs to go toe to toe with the Jackson-Sharpton team, counter protest, pressure and boycott the media into demanding equal treatment in the news. CNN, MSNBC, etc., will stop the injustice against whites in the media if millions of us simply boycotted their products. Its that simple. So what we have to do is fight fire with fire, stop talking about it and organize a group representing our white political identity that doesn’t deligitimize itself by race hating. Thats the number one tool the media uses to squelch our protestations - that it is the “supremicist response”.

It is a shame the truth will be confined to a handful of internet sites that report facts. CNN, MSNBC and others have flooded the airwaves with distortions and will never retract anything. They will just mosey on over to the next racially provocative story they can find.
CNN was really off the charts on this one. Only the brain dead would trust CNN to report the facts fairly on a racially charged story.

Factually, the police, the FBI, and a black federal attorney all independently investigated the noose incident to see if it were racially motivated. All, reported it was a prank and not meant to be racially intimidating. But CNN would have none of it. They were not about to let those facts get in the way of their story.
Also, the kid that was attacked was not one of the pranksters, but again, CNN would not let that fact get in the way of a their story. CNN was the ringleader, but MSNBC and others were not much better.

In my opinion, anyone who reads and believes the Washington Post is a fool. I haven’t read it for years, except for the classified and TV sections (the only sections with any truth). I read the Washington Times and also get my news from other sources, including this website.

I know what we should do:
1) Take out two full page ads in the local Jena paper reprising these two Amren articles. Maybe run them on different days. To keep the fires smoldering.
2) If there is a big reaction, then send Jared down to give a speech (ideally under the tree).
3) At the meeting (ideally held under the tree) have Jared make a beseaching call to every resident in Jena to contact the national media and demand them to clear Jena’s good name.
Hopefully after this, the media will react.
If all us readers kick in, I bet we could cover the costs. C’mon fellow readers! Altogether now!

I think this is wrong; with all due respect Mr. Taylor, I don’t think the main stream media actually possess a sense of shame.
but here’s betting they will never admit they got it wrong about the whites-only tree and the nooses.

We ask AR readers to let us know if even one national organ reports the truth.
I will watch the Oregonian to the extent I can, provided they succeed in delivering anything other than a drippy sodden soggy mess, which is what they did last Sunday. I wouldn’t take the Oregonian if my mother didn’t like it.

Another great lie by the radicals is the spin they tried to make of the lone white boy with the rifle at the convenience store. And, Jesse and Al gleefully spun their deceitful version.
Their story was that the white kid “pulled a gun” on the blacks in an aggressive way without cause. The actual truth is that it was the blacks who were making a move on the white kid, and, for protection, since he was outnumbered, he ran to his truck to get a weapon with which to protect himself, afterwhich the blacks chased him, caught up with him, then wrestled the gun from his hands. The white kid called the cops and explained what happened, so the blacks were rightly charged.
The incidents related above and this one aren’t the only ones twisted completely around. This entire incident is rife with purposely driven lies from the beginning to the present time, and the charade is ongoing right now, set to continue on from here on out by the same elements, and this entire matter is one of the most egregious attempts at white domonization since the claims of white racism involving black church fires that occurred about ten years ago, which weren’t even remotely racist, and were proven so, but only a slight peep was heard about the truth behind the situation after the smoke cleared, if you’ll pardon the pun.
This situation is different. We have much more ability to relay information at lightning speed via the internet, and this one will have a court solution which could keep it in the limelight for many more months, if those on our side keep up the pressure for the truth to be known and advertised.
There’s a grass roots movement growing over the internet concerning black on white attacks, involving bloggers and writers who have never voiced concern before.
We have the truth on our side. This incident has the possibility of bringing much black on white violence to light, showing the soccer moms and armchair quarterbacks that the information spewing from their nighborhood rag and the biased television networks is no more than exaggerations and lies.
How it will turn out, however, would be hard to say, because much depends on how incensed people in general are about the situation. To date, though, it appears as if this is getting much attention from our side, so a lot depends on how intensely we continue our pressure over getting the truth out.
One importand factor to consider, is that these 6 black criminals just might be advised to cop a plea for simple assault, requiring no airing of the matter in court. If they’re smart, that’s what they will do and the matter will die, with the truth likely submerged and will be unknown to the majority of whites. I hope that’s not the case.

Even worse, the administrators of the school contacted the FBI to see if there were race hate charges they could bring against the boys who hung the nooses. They contacted the US Attorney’s office. The FBI and the BLACK US attorney determined that the kids were oblivious to the symbolism and did it as a prank against other whites. NONETHELESS, the administration made them attend a special bad kids school for some time before they let them back into the Jena population, and the administration did this after KNOWING the boys had no evil intent.

Once again, as a retired newspaper reporter who worked in a newsroom for 39 and one-half years, I have to remind AmReners that when it comes to topics like race, the mainstream media cannot and should not be trusted.
Most reporters in the current generation were taught by middle-aged journalism professors heavily steeped in 1960s-style civil rights mythology (fiendish white racists, courageous black crusaders for “racial justice,” ad nauseum). They believe fervently in all the racial shibboleths of the left, and they believe that achieving the goals of the civil rights establishment are so morally vital that anything, especially slanting their news reporting, is justified in trying to impose those goals on the rest of us.
Kudos to Craig Franklin for digging up the truth about this shameful episode, and also to Jared Taylor for bringing it to our attention. Here’s a question for my fellow AmReners: Is there any way the truth can be disseminated more widely to the European-American population in this country, to counteract the poisonous lies repeated by the mainstream media?

I’m not at all convinced that the three ‘cowboys’ (who hung the nooses) did not have any idea that this action was symbolic of racial lynching. But, maybe so. Anyway, hanging the nooses did not break any law however, a six on one ambush did break a law and this act of violence must be prosecuted. The head attack dog was, also, someone with a history of assault charges and, must be dealt with ASAP. Hopefully, there will not be any loss of life or limb regarding this sophomoric episode.

This is astonishing. Will it ever come to light? Will CNN “suddenly” discover these facts a few months or a few years down the road, and have to do some revisionist history of their current anti-white reporting? You know: the way the London Times and other British mainstream media now reports on Pakistani mean “grooming” young white girls for prostitution — something the BNP was ATTACKED for when they broke the story a few years ago?
Or will this crucial, historically-important information about the Jena Six(-on-One) remain available only to those comparatively few of us who read AR? Will this story ever be told?
Mr. Taylor’s own prognosis is pessimistic: “The New York Times and the Washington Post are certainly not going to correct their stories, now that they have committed themselves to a juicy tale about Southern “racism.”” I hope Mr. Taylor is wrong, but he is probably right. After all, Mr. Taylor usually IS right.
But really, people — isn’t the skill with which the MSM has SPUN this story just astonishing? To make heroes of victimized blacks is one thing, but to make heroes of blacks who victimize whites — AND SUCCESSFULLY SELL IT TO WHITE AUDIENCES AS A SOB STORY — requires almost unfathomable powers of deception.

Sorry….not buying the “Lonesome Dove” excuse, but good try. But neither do I buy into the rantings of Al Sharpton and his side kick Jesse Jackson. The truth is somewhere in the middle.
We were all 16 at one point in our lives and we all pulled pranks at that confused-adolescent stage of life. Recent research in Psychology suggests the teenage brain has not fully developed the ability to cognize long ranging outcomes nor can it well correlate cause and effect relationships. Hence, to the mature-adult mind, the Jena victim appeared to have committed a “hate” crime at worst and an act of “bad taste” at its’ least. In the only reality that counts, the reality in the teen victims’ mind, he was clearly “pranking”…….somewhere on the order of “keying a car” or putting gum on the teachers’ seat. However….the reaction to it is in-excusable.
The knee-jerk reaction of the Jena 6 was “animalistic” at best, sub-human at its’ worst. Regardless of the perceived threat or “emotional response” to the symbolism surrounding the noose image, the counter attack was akin to attempted murder. Ask yourself…..when you were sixteen, did you ever assemble 5 of your friends together and kick one single prankster in the head until he was unconscious??
I agree with your synopsis on the “Civil Rights” industry cooked up by Al Sharpton and cousin Jesse, but even they are staring to play out in the press like the ignorant fools they have always been.

This whole thing is like a microcosm of our world. Blacks disdain, make fun of, and harass people of light (non-blacks), sometimes even maiming or killing them, and this is hushed up, while the atypical case is paraded around for the world to relive again and again.
It’s almost as if Jena is mockery, about embarrassing our docudrama memories of the civil rights movement. I would almost think that’s what Jena is about, but I know better. These people are incapable of feeling shame.

The more I learn about this story, the more I come to realize just exactly who the real terrorists in this country are: mainstream media.
All you can say about this story (and many others reported on by the MSM) is that they are acts of terrorism. Moral and psychological terrorism directed at white people.
I’m not saying whether or not this is intentional, but the effect that stories like this have on the minds of the people who watch them certainly deserves a lot more public discussion than it has received in the past.

Considering the ignorance of the average high school student today, I can easily imagine them being unaware of what nooses mean to many blacks.”
Still, do you think blacks will accept this? Of course not, and not only because it’s politically inexpedient to them to accept it, but because most human beings (and ESPECIALLY blacks in regard to racial matters!) believe that their own issues should, by some sort of magic, be thoroughly understood and appreciated by all other people.

Even if the nooses had been planted with racial intent(and whites have been hanged, too), that’s NOT a reason for suspension. It certainly does not excuse the brutal attack on the boy who was not even involved.

You must admit, if black moderates actually do exist, this is a nice way for the hucksters to drive them out and reduce their clout before the primaries. Seething blacks would be more likely to follow the dictates of familiar opportunists. Similarly, the wearing of black as a show of support engenders extremism. I am not sure, but I think I saw a couple of gentle blacks who seemed almost abashed for doing so.
Taylor’s observation of the media’s need for a “juicy tale” is correct. Sean Penn is now Walter Cronkite incarnate and the front page of the Times a repository of Hollywood chatter. Lacking a moral sense, reporters (and actors) seek out storms of protest and “causes,” but their outrage over global warming or trans fat never compensates for that which they desperately lack: an ounce of honest creativity.

Maybe that’s why Mark Potok of SPLC felt compelled to mention the Knoxville murders in a radio interview and assert vigorously that they were not “hate crimes”. The proper response to that diversionary argument is, “WE DON’T CARE WHETHER OR NOT THE CRiMES ARE HATE CRIMES, WE CARE THAT THE CRIMES ARE BEING COMMITTED!!”
The alternative trekless swamp of verbiage can be imagined: “You’re correct, Mr. Potok, these weren’t “hate crimes”, these were crimes committed in a spirit of loving brotherhood”. “No, we at SPLC recognize that these were vicious crimes, but these same young men had also committed vicious crimes against blacks, which shows that their crimes against whites were not motivated by hatred of whites”. “Well, no, it shows that they hated their white victims AND their black victims,” and so on. DON’T GET SUCKED IN! GET WHITE FOLKS’ MINDS OFF OF “HATE”, AND ON TO CRIME!
One of Mr. Potok’s actual reasons for why the Knoxville murderers could not be considered “hate criminals” was that they had previously dated white women! You can see that this is an area of discourse where reason isn’t going to get too far.
CRIME, CRIME, CRIME!! That could be the issue that breaks the log jam, because it’s an issue that whites care deeply about, but are afraid to even think about, for fear of being “racist”. DON’T GET SUCKED INTO ARGUMENTS ABOUT “RACISM” EITHER—THAT’S ANOTHER CROCK!

Interestingly, just the other day on network TV they had a report of a sales clerk(white)being mercylessly attacked by a morbidly obese, yes you guesed it, black male. They did not mention the word “race” but did provide a video which made the racial makeup of the participants very clear. They ended with a comment to the effect of “why whould anyone do such a thing”. The answer of course is that he was a black thug and his victim was white and that happens every day.

Since this story hit, I have been thinking about whether a noose is symbolic of racial lynching. Specifically, I realized that I hadn’t been aware of this, and thought that maybe I was encountering this idea for the first time. In contrast, consider how well-known is the burning cross as a symbol of threat of racial violence. This is not to say that the association doesn’t exist for nooses, just that it is far from established and well-known in our society.
The idea that high-school age kids wouldn’t know of any such association is completely believable to me. The idea that hanging a noose is immediately recognizable as some kind of “racial initmidation” or “hate crime” strikes me as stretching credibility.
So I put the question to fellow readers:
Can you name a single movie, book, or any other element in our culture in which a noose is a symbol of racial lynching?
A scene in a movie? A historical photo? A line in a song? Anything . . . ?

Yes, the ‘truth’ has a unique way of finding it’s way to the surface. Amazing how this happens! Now, in all seriousness, Blacks actually know the truth but will not allow this to interfere with their instinctive nature to bother and destroy (in the military this was referred to as ‘search and destroy’). Blacks do not have time for the search part. They just react without any research or planning what-so-ever. This is referred to as ‘reaction to stumuli’ in lower forms of instinctive behavior. Don’t give up hope too soon. I’m seeing some changes in a personal situation that demonstrate to me that many of the people who have had to go along with the race-baiting are relieved to have an excuse not to join in the multi-cult sensitivity training. This situation won’t last. People don’t want to walk on eggshells having to watch every word that comes out of their mouths less they offend a supposedly more disenfrachised/dispossessed group of people. I think we’re actually at the point of saturation. Those of us held to impossible standards with dire consequences for the least infraction won’t take much more of this. If we all stop refusing to comply or even just defend ourselves confidently when under attack, the multi-cultists won’t have any power. Most of this is a mind game anyway, we let them make us think and act as if we are guilty (of having light skin) then they go around forcing us to make amends, moderate our speech, demonstrate that we hate our own kind, etc. At some point, people stop caring about the consequences. I think we’re there. I really do. And I’m doing my own small yet intensely annoying bit to thwart the tyranny of speech codes and the madness that ensues when someone gets officially labeled “racist”.
People are too ready to get into the business of mind reading and soul reading these days. The irony is that I wasn’t all that racist before people started targeting me for being racist. I wouldn’t suggest anyone else do as I do b/c I’m buffered from the consequences in a way that most of you are not. I think, however, the more I am able to go about my business without retaliation despite being labeled as the evil “racist” it will be a sign that the tide is turning. This is important b/c it wasn’t too long ago that most of us had the uncle or father who was overtly anti this group or that yet was never in any threat of losing his job as long as he was polite to his co-workers. Knowing that someone was “racist” or thinking that they were was never grounds for denying them jobs, harassing them or restricting their freedom in any way.
Other good signs: The Duke rape hoax turned out ok after too long in those boys lives but still turned out ok. Jena seems to be calm despite the racial controversy which is a surprise. I thought someone would’ve been killed by now.

Recently, there was a demonstration by about thirty blacks and a few crazy white women at our downtown courthouse to “free the Jena 6.” I can only assume that the demonstrators believed that beating someone senseless was less of a crime than imprisoning “youths”— many of whom had previously committed violent crimes. Certainly, Mr. Taylor is right that the controlled media deserves blame for deliberately giving the race hustlers false information, but the assumption that blacks are nearly always the victims and never the perpetrators of crimes seems to be widely believed even by many college educated blacks, and, of course, most liberal, gulit-ridden, whites.

Not that I think FAIR would touch it - but we should flood Fairness and Accuracy In Reporting with complaints about how this was covered. If only to let these weasels know we are watching.
My suggestion is to use social networking sites, blogs, Wikipedia (citing local Jena sources) and call in to talk radio to get the real story out as best as we can. Youtube can be an ally if you use it correctly. It also doesn’t hurt to write a boiler plate (fill in the blanks) letter to the editor of the major papers and complain, and to the TV networks. While the networks and newspapers are unlikely to do much with it, we at least put them on notice that people are paying attention to the truth & demand it.
I remind all of you of the Newsom murders. The papers spent a ton of time trying to re-slant their stories only after we raised a fuss. Most people read between the lines on that, and thats why we are having the change of consciousness today about things like Jena. Now of course the papers and TV media didn’t come out & say the truth, even in back paddle mode they tried to slant the criticism of the coverage as something other than what it was. But they are a dog of few tricks. We can count on them to use the same type of tactics and distortions while they back paddle. It makes the lies that much more visible to those on the fence.
The social networking sites, forums of message boards (usenet posts are forever, google keeps archives indefinitely)- those in particular allow one to slowly chip away at the media wall of distortion.
It takes time to have an impact, but it eventually does. The whole Rodney King fiasco as a case in point. When people come across a reference to what really happened they find it impossible to ignore. Katrina was an eye opener for many as well. Harp on all of the big media distortions with links. Don’t try to keep reinventing the wheel and write new posts each time - just get a standard post worked up in a word processor to do exactly what the media did: Connect the dots between the coverage of Rodney King, The Duke Lacrosse players, the Brawley case, Newsom murders, and any other egregious coverage going on at the time.
Make sure to let your legislators know as well that you are unhappy. Even though its beyond their purview to do anything about it, complain about media consolidation at the same time. Be sure to mention terrorism as “No justice, no peace” is merely a thinly veiled threat of violence. Mention those hate crime laws are not being fairly applied, and anyone with two brain cells can see it. It puts them on notice that their pandering is not making people happy, and pander they did. File a formal complaint with the FCC about media not acting in the public interest. (Those also are forever, so dot your I’s and cross your T’s in those).
We need to be loud, not meek. Its our country and its still worth fighting for.

You are so right! Most journalists have been indoctrinated all their lives that “white-racism is the cause of all black problems.” The Jena-6 case provided them such an example, or so they thought…. However, those pesky facts keep getting in the way. So what do they do? Why, of course, ignore them … omit the facts from their reporting. The libs in the media are so anxious to find white on black racism, they’ll ignore the facts and deliberately report carefully crafted distortions.
The following video is a perfect example of how a loathsome CNN reporter is reporting with glee the return of sixties style black-power rallies. Notice how she shamelessly calls the assault by six black thugs on one white as simply a FIGHT! When has an unprovoked assault by six blacks on one unsuspecting white kid been defined as a fight? A FIGHT??? The brainwashed white-liberal reporter that acually did so, shows how biased against whites she and CNN really are.

As much as I hate to give him credit but credit he must get, is Bill O’Reilly who reported last week that most of the Jena story was being reported falsely and that many, many facts were being deliberately left out of the story. Sometimes, O’Reilly comes through but he let me down immensely when he claimed to Jesse Jackson the same week, that “whites were afraid of blacks”.
However, it must be said that he did report the inaccuracies of the Jena story. Just as O’Reilly was the only MSM to ever report on the Witcha Massacre several years ago.

A friend is about 60. His Father was a reporter all his life for the St. Louis Post Dispatch. He remembers when he was in High School, 45 years ago, his Father coming home complaining about a new directive.
That directive was that the race of black criminals and suspects was never to be mentioned in the St. Louis Post Dispatch. His Dad was irate, but what is a middle-aged man with kids and a mortgage to do when faced with such a directive? Obey or be unemployed.
Of course 45 years ago was when the blacks were driving Whites out of St. Louis by horrific and systematic black on White crime.
Now of course, the St. Louis blacks complain that as soon as the Whites left the city went down hill as badly as Detroit.

Great article by Jared Taylor, who once again, cut through all the gobbledygook and provided the truth on this matter. And to think this man was shouted down at a Canadian University, because he dared to speak the truth. Reminds me of the short story, “An Enemy of the People” (by Ibsen?), where a doctor is castigated by the townfolk because he tries to alert them to the fact their public bathhouses are spreading contagious and deadly diseases.

The story about the white boy using the rifle to defend himself against the black marauders, is why you will almost never hear about people using firearms to save their lives in the MSM. You’ll hear about situations like VA Tech and Columbine, but never about situations like this. What really happened was some black thugs beat up a white guy for racial motives, but were not charged with a hate crime because hate crime laws were passed in order to put white people in jail, not black people. Two race-hate-mongers saw an opportunity to paint whites as racist and blacks as innocent victims who would NEVER beat up anybody, NEVER rape an innocent white girl, NEVER kill a 10 year old white girl. I can think of TV episodes, commercials, and movies where a noose was used humorously in a non-racial manner.
There was a commercial a few years back about salsa. A cowboy from texas threatens to hang a fellow cowboy for buying the wrong salsa in”New York City instead of Texas. At the end it shows a noose with the caption, “Make sure you buy the right salsa.”
I can think of a Star Trek episode were a alien prepared a noose and threatened to hang Kirk.
And in old westerns, they were always threatening to hang villains, “Hang em high”, and “Good, bad, and ugly” to name just a couple.
Factually, many whites were hanged throughout history. Blacks and whites were hanged for capital crimes. Today, blacks and whites are executed with lethal injection instead of hanging.

Good point! But lynching itself (solely by Southern whites of blacks, of course) IS an iconic story (and lynching does bring to mind nooses) that is rooted so deeply in us that we even find it hard to believe (witness the disbelief of some posters above) that ignorant teenage boys could be somehow unindoctrinated on the importance of nooses in the racial iconography of blacks.
Well now this oversight in their brainwashing has been corrected, and these teens now know that the “hangman’s nooses” that were once the delight of every boy to try to tie have long since been appropriated as “lynching nooses” into our Mythic story and practicing religion that requires worshiping of all black suffering.
The song “Strange Fruit (hanging on Southern trees)”, popularized mainly by Billie Holliday, evoked powerfully our feelings about lynching. A noose isn’t just reserved for blacks. Lynching was not just done to blacks. It was common practice in the West - white on white - before the government ever got a handle on the Wild part of the West. It was also done to whites in the South. I would bet far more whites have been lynched in this country than all other colors combined. I mean way more.

Somehow I’m not surprised to learn that the real events bear no resemblance to how they were presented by the MSM. The Justin Barker beating was a case of black thuggery at its finest, but the MSM used the noose incident as a straw man to confuse and mislead the sofa sitting airheads and agitate the pea brained black masses.
People magazine’s hit piece on the incident seemed to contain some truth and some blatant untruths. For example, they reported that when the nooses were hung it was seen as a joke by both whites and blacks who took turns putting their heads in them and otherwise acting like teenage boys. Later in the article they made it seem that the “Jena 6” were racially and physically abused by whites when they tried to enter a party which precipitated the attack on Justin Barker. The whites, of course, got off without punishment while the blacks were being charged with serious crimes.
Demonstrably false, of course, but facts never seem to matter when reporting interracial incidents. The party line of blacks are good and whites are racist and evil must be adhered to at all times.

Excellent points re. the whole noose issue. Precisely when DID a noose become a specifically, if even uniquely racial symbol? This is all new to me and I’m nearly forty! I don’t honestly recall any massive effort to connect the noose to “racism,” even in the mass-media world, where virtually everything can be or is made into a racial issue.
This all smacks of typical black self-absorption and race-fanaticism. Since they are obsessed with symbolism in general, I suppose blacks feel they can co-opt whatever symbol that suits their purpose and make it uniquely theirs. This reminds me of how they commonly re-invent black “stereotypes” as positive things…the whole “pimp” phenomenon coems immediately to mind, and of course the ridiculous “n-word” nonsense is not far behind.
And tragically, many whites play along…and even gleefully join in the foolishness.

I know what we should do:
1) Take out two full page ads in the local Jena paper reprising these two Amren articles. Maybe run them on different days. To keep the fires smoldering.
2) If there is a big reaction, then send Jared down to give a speech (ideally under the tree).
3) At the meeting (ideally held under the tree) have Jared make a beseaching call to every resident in Jena to contact the national media and demand them to clear Jena’s good name.
Hopefully after this, the media will react.
If all us readers kick in, I bet we could cover the costs. C’mon fellow readers! Altogether now!

I’m getting to the point where I am skeptical of almost everyone. It may be possible the “cowboys” didn’t associate nooses with lynchings, but remember, those nooses went up the night after the school assembly - pretty suspicious timing IMO.
Miscreants, CEO’s and politicians frequently spend of a lot of time thinking of the most plausible excuse for whatever they did that gave offense.
I think this excuse is only slightly more believable than John Kerry’s explanation for his “stuck in Iraq” jab.
I can sort of see how blacks got worked up over the attempted murder charges - that does sound like overcharging. But my husband is an attorney, and he sees that all the time - it gives the prosecutor negotiating room.

I have a much better explanation of the “mainstream” media spin of the Jena story.
When a bunch of black thugs badly beat a boy just because he was white, it’s a classroom example of racism. So, how can you make millions of Americans not notice the obvious? Twist the story 180 degrees and make is so outrageous that the public opinion is diverted in a different, “safe” direction.
I must add that one of the masters of this kind of truth hiding in the open is ABC’s Ted Koppel. He directed the “racism” propaganda in the past along the lines of the Jena spin. Just watch his recent campaign regarding the “over-incarceration” of Americans to see his skillfully deceitful attempts to desensitize American public opinion on the issue of rising tide of “minority” (black and hispanic) crime.

There were plenty of whites lynched during frontier and post frontier era’s .In many cases vigilantism was the only law to be had . Mores were different then , most of us cannot even imagine through our 21st century eyes .The overwhelming majority of the victims (for lack of a better word ) black and white ,were accused of very heinous crimes . A fact that gets overlooked these days .The blacks have no right to try and usurp the term “lynching ,” as being uniquely applied to only them.Trying to equate a prank like displaying a noose with actually beating someone unconcious is just more idiot logic , something this nation has been consumed in for far too long .

I never have understood why the Duke hoax victims’ failed to sue the Durham and Raleigh papers for libel and slander? All’s it would take is ONE major victory against newspapers for maliciously partaking in witch hunts, and it would have the desired chilling effect so badly needed.

I don’t doubt that the bulk of what he is saying is true, but it is useless to try and convince others that this site is respectable and truthful when it provides no way for us to verify what Mr. Taylor is saying.

A hangman’s noose is a symbol of old western justice, it never had any race or religious symbolism. Lynch mob justice was often justified by the fact that the population of the affected towns demanded that justice prevail. There may have been innocent people die, but the overwhelming percentage of men that were hung were white; not black.
This group is looking for a new symbol of hate, they make a good living from keeping racism alive and healthy ( whether it has merit or not is irrelevant).
