Opting out of the fight.

A week from today will be the one year anniversary of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. In the year since, the American Right seems to have totally fractured. The Trump Administration has scored some successes against antifa, but its coalition is splintering. Part of this is due to the Administration’s missteps. However, part of it is due to our own vanguard, which is desperate to opt out of conflict, make a separate peace, and take refuge in “safe edgy” conspiracy theories that keep them out of trouble.
