Florida Man Accused of Using COVID Relief Funds to Buy Rolex, Designer Suits, Lamborghini Now Facing up to 132 Years in Prison

A south Florida man accused of fraudulently obtaining millions in COVID-19 relief loans allegedly used the money to buy luxury items including a Lamborghini Huracán EVO, pricey watches from Rolex and Hublot in addition to designer suits from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Chanel, prosecutors said.

Valesky Barosy has been charged with five counts of wire fraud, three counts of money laundering and one count of aggravated identity theft. If convicted in connection with the multi-million-dollar coronavirus scam, the 27-year-old suspect faces up to 132 years in prison.
