Kaepernick Doll Seen Chained to Truck in San Jose on Eve of Texas Execution

A doll-size effigy of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was seen chained to a truck’s trailer hitch at a Safeway gas station Tuesday night in San Jose.
The sighting came a day before an avowed Texas racist was to be executed for the 1998 truck-dragging murder of a black man in one of the most gruesome lynching cases in modern U.S. history.
NBC Bay Area reported that Joanna Acevedo took a photo of the small doll and posted it on Twitter. In a follow-up tweet, she wrote, “This is racist no matter the intention (ie. Raiders vs. niners rivalry).”
