The Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called on citizens of Turkish origin in EU states to extend their political influence. “Personally take responsibilities in political parties and political mechanisms,” said Erdogan on Tuesday in an appeal “to my citizens in Europe”. {snip}
