Since the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement — and largely because of it — America’s law enforcement officers have dealt with increased danger and resentment.
A St. Louis police officer is under investigation for an anti-Black Lives Matter post on Facebook — made in the midst of violent, destructive rioting that took place under the Black Lives Matter banner.
The investigation follows a complaint by Alt-leftist Lisa Clancy, who posted a photograph of herself participating in a Black Lives Matter rally on Facebook. In response, the unnamed police officer posted a meme describing Black Lives Matter as “the Klan with a tan” and “domestic terrorists.”
But this is irrelevant to Clancy, who believes the officer deserves to lose his job for exercising the very same right to free speech that Clancy exercised both in protesting the police and then bragging about it on Facebook.
“I think that their failure to condemn it publicly suggests that there’s systemic racism in the institution,” she said.
