MSNBC: “We Never Have a Conversation About Racism!”

Digitas Daily, May 1, 2014

Editor’s Note: This clever new video from Digitas Daily is a montage of MSNBC on-air personalities talking about race. It is from just a few days of broadcasting and shows the channel’s obsession with race and “racism.”

At the end, a member of a panel says, “No matter how many times we say we’re going to have a conversation about race, we never have that conversation.” He’s right about that.

Who watches the Negro Broadcasting Channel?

    • Alexandra1973

I call it PMSNBC. They need to pop some Midols and chill.

    • Einsatzgrenadier

Sounds more like the Negro Brainwashing Channel if you ask me.

The funny thing is that they happen to be right, we never have had a conversation about race and racism. We only have one side of the racial issue. Everything else is entirely prohibited. Meaning, the so called conversation these black racist like Toure, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Eric Holder, Barry Soetoro and their dimly lit brow beaten White liberal enablers want to have, and do have everyday. Is not so much a conversation as it is a lecture, and as I said, they have those every single day.

PLEASE READ FELLOW AMREN TRAVELERS: – Just out of curiosity I would like to know if we did have a “Real Conversation” with these people about race in America. What are some of the things that you feel our side should include in that conversation?

    • ncpride

      ‘White Privilege’ Mania.

    • Truthseeker

How about the fact that all these various racial groups have this funny tendency to want their own people as leaders, their own people’s history reflected in their communities, and their cultures to reflect their own people’s unique characteristics? Since this phenomenon is so strong, shouldn’t we at least ask whether separate governments might be the best solution for everyone?

    • Cambrian Smith

Equating thoughts, beliefs and concepts with “hate”. Hate is an emotion (as MSNBC exhibits a lot of), not an opinion or argument. They destroy their own agenda on rational grounds when they equate disagreement with hate.

      • DonReynolds

Of course, hate is only wrong if whites do it. The hate of black nationalists, black radicals, black criminals and black brigands does not matter. Hate is only a problem if whites hate.
But I agree with you. I may think someone smells bad without hating them.
I may not want to be robbed or mugged on the sidewalk, but that does not mean I hate everyone I see.

  • Frank_DeScushin

MSNBC must define “never” as “within the last thirty seconds.”

    • Anna Tree

And “conversation on race” as “monologue on race”.

  • SMK

A “racist” is any white who criticizes or tells the truth about blacks in ways that are negative and/or “politically-incorrect,” or interpreted and perceived as such by the regnant commissars, fantasists, inquisitors, sycophants, liars, cowards, etc. “Polar bear hunting” and the “knockout game” are not “racist,” and the criminals who assault and injure or even kill whites are not “racists,” but any white who tells the truth about these assaults, i.e., the racial motives of the white-hating predators, or even notes the facts in racial terms, is a “racist.” One could give countless examples.

    • DonReynolds

That is not true. The ONE white guy (in Texas) who ever played the knockout game was DEFINITELY accused of being a racist and Eric Holder at the Just-Us Department said there would be Federal charges. Of course, the thousands of knockout game participants who came before are not facing any Federal “hate crime” charges, even in the 36 occasions where the victim died of their injuries. Some people would consider it murder, but Obama says……that is just young men being young men.

    • guest

Anything whites do anymore is somehow racist to these anti-racist elitists who have completely changed its definition. It used to mean someone who is prejudiced against people of different races, now it just means white people in general. That’s why most of us no longer fear being labeled that once-dreaded R-word.

    • obot

A racist is anyone who doesn’t embrace communism

    • Jacobite2

The trouble whites face is that there are no truths about blacks that are not negative — as whites see things.

  • Luca

I’m still waiting for that mythical “Honest conversation about race”.

That will probably take place after they find Jimmy Hoffa and bigfoot piloting a UFO over a herd of unicorns from Atlantis.

    • David Ashton

We have been waiting for half a century in England for that “honest conversation about immigration”, but are regularly told that the “mythical England” before the swinging sixties “never existed”.

    • DonReynolds

Luca…..I honestly believe any conversation about race would be a lot like an honest conversation about sex. It is unlikely I could get two people to agree on what constitutes sex anymore than I could get two people to agree on what would define racism.
For example…..blacks voting for Obamba is not racism, but whites who voted for Romney are racist.
Another example……the MSNBC definition of racism…..the ONLY possible reason why anyone would not completely agree with every proposal by the Obama administration.
(Ed Schultz of MSNBC says that is the ONLY reason why anyone would oppose raising the Federal minimum wage to $10.10 per hour… Der Fuehrer demands…. is because of racism.)

      • Luca

There cannot be an honest conversation about race, religion or politics.

Virtually every war in history can attest to that.

        • DonReynolds

You are a wise man, Luca.
Perhaps every war in history WAS how you have an honest conversation about race, religion or politics. If so, then we are overdue for another long chat.

    • Brian

Jimmy Hoffa and bigfoot piloting a UFO over a herd of unicorns from Atlantis.
Does the UFO go ‘splodey if its speed drops below 50mph? Sounds like a good movie to me.

    • blight14

They’re going to air that series right after they present ‘An Honest Review of the Second World War’……..they’ve also got another blockbuster planned, ‘Ally or Foe’…..its sure to spike the ratings……

  • sbuffalonative

Their idea of a conversation on race is for you to admit you’re a racist.

    • Sheik Yerbouti

I don’t have to admit it. I’m white, so I am automatically assumed to be a hard core racist with a confederate flag on my wall and swastikas on my boots. What I don’t get is how white leftists can’t see how badly this is all going to backfire on them. How can they possibly think those they advocate for actually give two shiites about them?

  • ncpride

If they really wanted to have a conversation about race, they would invite Mr. Taylor to the show and do just that, but they would have to have the courtesy not to shout him down, and actually allow him to get a word in edgewise…….Eh, who am I kidding?

  • sbuffalonative

Mr. Taylor should send an open letter to MSNBC saying he’s willing to come on any program and have a conversation about race.

    • dd121

They only want people who agree with them.

      • sbuffalonative

That’s why you have to post a public, open letter offering your willingness to participate in the conversation.

If they ignore you or turn you down, they’ll either have to give a reason or not give a reason. They then expose themselves as being insincere about their offer or being hypocrites.

It’s unlikely they’ll respond because as you say they want people who agree with them but it does make them look foolish for turning down the conversation they say they want to have.

  • WR_the_realist

Thanks for the best laugh of the day. And to think, normally MSNBC just raises my blood pressure.

We will never have a conversation about race because one side of that conversation will never be allowed to speak.

  • NoMosqueHere

It just goes to show what a con man fraud Bonehead Hussein is. Back in 2008, all my librull colleagues assured me the country would be healed if only Bonehead was elected president. PT Barnum would be proud of Bonehead.

    • Alexandra1973

Isn’t that the fellow who said that there’s a sucker born every minute?

  • Nancy Thomas

  • dave

Race traitors, race traitors, race traitors, race traitors and blacks racists.

  • dd121

I tried to have a frank talk about race on MSNBC and got permabanned.

    • Brian

I’ve gotten the same merely for suggesting that, in regard to immigration, the constitutional language of ‘for ourselves and our posterity’ does not equate to ‘the wretched refuse of your teeming shores’.

      • dd121

I didn’t say anything particularly inflammatory. They don’t seem to recognize the irony of their fascist censorship.

  • DonReynolds

They have conversations about race all the time, every day. It does no good, of course, because they only allow people to join the conversation who already agree with them…. so they end up pumping each other. They will not have a conversation about race with someone who defies their nonsense and refuses to agree with their “social justice” or their “white guilt”.

  • MBlanc46

We have that “conversation” almost non-stop. And it’s entirely one-sided. Anyone who deviates by a nanometer from the politically correct dogma is silenced.

  • shawnmer

The only thing preventing that trash can of a network from qualifying as a joke is it doesn’t have a large enough audience to count.

  • I am Scottish, Irish, Welsh, German, Cherokee and Tuscarora. My wife is Japanese. We have conversations on race, usually in bed after the lights are out. I tell her I love her.

    • DonReynolds

…..and you are a fine fellow. Best wishes to you and your family.

  • Mrfinoni

Racism is big again with the MSM gaining brownie points with the public. IS IT TOO TIMELY??????? Billionaire set up by his mistress whom he has lavished with expensive gifts and millions of dollars??????? VERY FISHY!!!!!!!! vs the increasing awareness of Black crime and corruption, the knock out game, the push back against immigration and affirmative action. They were looking for a scapegoat!!!!! Or did they create a scape goat???? Perfect target. A lecherous old a–hole who nobody likes.

  • Donald

I have THAT conversation with people who are ready.

And I plant seeds with those who aren’t.

  • The cultural Marxists don’t want a “conversation” on race. What they want instead is a one-sided narrative in which they will do all the talking while we listen like scolded children who have been caught misbehaving. Their logical fallacy is that they have no moral authority over us. In my own case, they have no traction at all. I’m 48. I don’t have a job I could be conceivably fired from, and in fact I do not even want one. I work out of the house as a welder, machinist, auto mechanic, and I write naval history articles. I’m working on a cartridge case-forming book for all military calibers up to 20mm as well as another book on the US navy fleet air-defense problem in the postwar era. I home-school my daughter because I don’t want her exposed to their ideological contamination. I’m already a convicted felon. I’m already on the Terrorist Watch List. What could they conceivably do to me if I don’t want to listen to their raving nonsense? How about nothing?

There’s another element here, however. The mainstream media hates online race-realist political discussion boards like this one because they have no control over them. That’s what frustrates MSNBC and the like. They can delete comments on their own news sites and ban people all the live long day, but what are they going to do about AmRen? Are they going to call people like Mr. Taylor names? That’s about all they can do, and this is driving them absolutely crazy.

    • Sangraal

Who do you write the naval history articles for? Are any of them available online? It’s an area I’d like to read into more.

  • MooTieFighter

Never will have an honest conversation outside of a prison. What they mean is a conversation that includes whites discussing “white privilege”, how great blacks are, how we can give them more special treatment, and how much more money we will be sending to advance their causes. Without one conversation regarding their crime rates, use of government assistance, their constant complaining and burden on society (worldwide)failures to succeed despite numerous attempts on the white man’s part to give them favoritism, or any discussion of I.Q.’s/standardized test scores.

  • Vito Powers

Hey, didn’t Pat Buchanan get fired as an MSNBC commentator over his book that discussed, among other taboo topics, race and racism?

And of course, the gutless wonders at FOX News didn’t immediately hire Pat like they did with Juan Williams after Williams was canned by NPR.

    • The really weird part about that is when MSNBC hired him, he had already written several books of that sort. They didn’t bother MSNBC when they hired him, yet for some reason we’re supposed to believe that his latest was so bad that they had to sack him. When I think the real story is that MSNBC’s viewer base in the funny farm complained too much.

It’s like Disney no longer using Hank Williams for the MNF theme song: The reason the bosses gave was because of the Hank Williams song he released three years before ABC hired him to do the MNF theme song.

  • dcc2379

Let’s have that conversation. Blacks have lower IQs. Blacks lack morals. Blacks don’t create families. Blacks aren’t interested in education. Blacks love welfare. Blacks do not take personal responsibility for willfully wrong choices, instead seeking to blame historical events from 200 years ago. There, I’ve said it. Just wait for Charles Rangel and Al Sharpton to nod their heads in agreement.

  • Evette Coutier

We have that conversation all the time. It goes like this:

US: FBI crime stastics show 2,000 black on white rapes per year, and zero white on black rapes.
    Them: you’re a racist.

US: blacks are 12 percent of the population but commit 52 percent of all crime according to crime statistics.
    Them: you’re a racist.

US: for over the past 100 years, in every nation, on every variation of intelligence test, even when normalized for environmental factors, black score 15 to 32 points lower than whites on intelligence tests.
    Them: you’re a racist.

US: George Zimmerman and the Duke Lacrosse team were innocent.
    Them: you’re a racist.

I could go on for days. When facts are against you, you must resort to insults or you lose the debate.

    • Ella

You forgot the OJ Simpson and Rodney King cases. I think these high-profile media court cases stereo-typed Blacks as innocent victims regardless of their criminal behaviours. The media started to test their boundaries in assertively labelling whites as oppressive “racists.”

  • DiversityIsDeath

Puleeze, their idea of an “honest conversation on race” is a rigged situation where a white guilt ridden liberal milquetoast sits quietly and listens politely to white-resenting negroes lecture him.

  • jayvbellis

All Amren readers should train on how best to handle the smear “you’re RACIST”.

Never grovel, never get all defensive.

    • kikz2

      i liked unc’ fred reed’s reply in a recent article…. “so?” 😀

    • Brian

I usually say something like ‘insults do not constitute an argument’, or ‘now that you’ve gotten the the histrionic name-calling out of your system, do you care to dispute the truth of what I’m saying?’

  • jayvbellis

Some modern day working definitions of a “racist”.

    1. Someone who is winning an argument with a liberal or, sadly winning an argument with a Libertarian.

    2. Someone who shows kindness for his own kind.

    3. Someone who is not a complete idiot or a traitor.

    • Andy

According to academia, it’s anyone “socialized in a racist society as part of the privileged group”, i.e. anyone white.

  • Truth Teller

For the last 40 years when people accuse me of being a racist I always say F***K**G A!!!!!
When I was younger men were always coming on to me. I didn’t like it because I was pestered all the time. So after a bit of conversation I would ask, “what do you think about affirmative action?” Because I’m a woman they would always go on and on about how wonderful affirmative action was. Then I would just blast them about it an tell them every person in favor of affirmative action should be killed in horrible ways and burn in hell forever and ever. 2 of those guys were judges, just county judges but judges never the less. The both protested, I’m not a state for federal judge, I never made an affirmative action ruling. I answered. But judges made rulings against all Whites so therefore I will never date a judge. If judges decree all Whites be discriminated against, then all judges are anti White and should be shunned and punished. Both were married and I called up their wives and tipped them off that their husbands were seeing other women.

    • jayvbellis

      Great job!

How about using your um, talents to entrap bad anti White men, bad Muslims, etc.. Sue for sexual harassment. Try to end their careers, as was done to that New York Congressman Wiener who sent sexual texts to a porn star.

All’s fair in love and war and sweet reason and Libertarian wonkery isn’t winning us many battles.

  • FozzieT

If these MSNBC morons were actually forced to listen to the race-realist point of view, and their mouths were taped shut so that they couldn’t scream “RACIST!!” their heads would explode.

  • kikz2

i’m suspicious of the site…. the spelling, grammar, and punctuation are too …White.

  • jayvbellis

The point we need to remember is that MSNBC always lies, even an occassional truth is just used to gain a few more viewers, gain some credibility to spread more lies.

It’s not just Al Sharpton – Joe Scarborough is just as bad.

Here’s a solid idea for activism.

Start local movements to block MSNBC from your cable TV, treat MSNBC as you would hard core porn. Block it and send press releases to local media. Announce the blocking on your Facebook.

  • Bobbala

The honest discussion on racism goes like this … “Isn’t Obama doing great?” “Are you still racist?”

  • rmk948

The last thing MSNBC would want would be a genuine conversation about race. What they have in mind is something more like four-part harmony a cappella.

  • MindHead99

Racism is a code word for the Black Power Industry that is a parasite on productive Americans. According to the Black Power Industry racism never gets better it only gets worse so they need more and more money from government to fix it. The only real way to fix it is to stop all programs based on race.

    • MikeofAges

According to the Racial Grievance conglomerate, racism never gets better, it just morphs. So the grievances can never be satisfied. Diversity is another matter entirely. Diversity means the replacement of whites, and, in America, blacks for that matter, with a “third” culture which, while it includes significant numbers of whites and some blacks too, is neither, and in fact is a replacement for both of the original populations of the United States.

Diversity is not an anti-discrimination policy. In American It is overt discrimination against anybody born in America who has not had exposure to multiple languages and cultures during their upbringing. Actually, it is a paradoxical way of creating homogeneity in the workplace in that people in America with this exposure see themselves as having more in common with each other than they do with traditional America, regardless of their own actual cultural heritage. Hence the term “Third Culture”.

  • Anon

How can you actually have a “conversation about race” when the ONLY race that isn’t for their race and their race ONLY, is white people. And that racial altruism by white people is delusional to the point of suicide?
How’s is this for a legitimate conversation about race. Anything less than overt racism is treason and should result in the hanging of the offender. Anti-racists should be terrified lest anyone discover their views. Non-whites should be ethnically cleansed from any land whites choose to live in and controlled by a totalitarian police state that forces them to adhere to civilized behavior. Blacks should be actively genocided due to incorrigible evil.
A lot of you will wag your fingers or tongues in my direction over that. The more clear thinking of you will justify it as playing into the hands of those that would call us “raycists”. To that I would respond that, the history of the world is not one where those who made the right arguments or pleased people with their rhetoric decided how things went. Instead, ONLY those with various forms of power got their way and people, no matter how much they hurt them personally, loved and respected them for it.

    • Guest

You hit the nail on the head: * And that racial altruism by white people is delusional to the point of suicide?*

  • MooTieFighter

You sound like me. I simply woke up one day and realized so many of my problems have stemmed from one ethnic group. A group that only represents appr. 12-14 % of our population, but requires nearly 50% of all our government assistance and causes about 80% of all our violent crime. All the while, they are constantly complaining, demanding more special treatment and handouts, and blame ALL their inadequacies on other races. Blacks are a burden on humanity.

    • I believe that this is perpetuated by the Obama administration.
The Obama government is socialist and corrupt, the media is corrupt, they want racial divide and friction. Racial diversity just doesn’t work, then there is the illegal open borders that Obama will not enforce or the corporate republicans . .they’re all socialist and NWO mongers. They are all traitors . . Keep your powder dry . .
      A WAR is coming..

  • ursine

Never, really? Looking at the outlets like MSNBC one may think that “conversation” about racism is all we have. What we never touch in our politically correct, neutered mass media is the truth about races, their traits, differences and relationships. The very definition of racism underwent such a horrific transformation that if you pick at random 20 youngsters from high school or college and give therm some examples asking to identify what is and what is not racism they would mostly fail.
According to many MSNBC-minded pundits I am a racist, because I strongly object policies and methods of Barack Obama. Need I say more?

  • cecilhenry

White people have racial interests and a right to protect those interests.

How does anti-white behavior impact their interests.?

That is the start of a conversation.

  • Snazzy Snook

From the “Lean forward” and let me stick it in without any grease station ..

  • OhWow

We don’t have the conversation because that means blacks would have to hear unpopular facts and take responsibility. We all know personal responsibility is the kryptonite to blacks.

  • Paleoconn

The word [email protected] means nothing to me.

    • Paul Lester Pothier

I believe Rational Wikipedia posits a much better definition:

“Racism is a system of societal organization in which one or more races is held to be superior to others, thereby enjoying greater privilege in society.”
