Nancy Pelosi Washes Immigrants’ Feet in Humble Holy Week Act–Then Promotes on Twitter

Cheryl K. Chumley, Washington Times, April 18, 2014

Nancy Pelosi has embraced her religious roots and joined forces with Bishop Marc Andrus to–as she put it–“honor the dignity and work of immigrants” by taking bended knee and washing feet at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco.

Mrs. Pelosi’s official Twitter account sent out the picture of the Democratic House Minority Leader washing the feet of two children, alongside the bishop.

And social media reaction was mixed, at best, with some accusing her of using the Easter season to stage a political prop.

Her tweet: “Honored to be in the Mission to assist Bishop Andrus as he washes the feet of immigrant families.”

And tweeted responses: “@NancyPelosi u r such a phony multi millionaire,” said one.

Another: “@NancyPelosi is this another dem voter registration drive?”

{snip}

SFGate reported the Democratic leader did take advantage of the occasion to peddle some pro-immigrant policy, speaking to the crowd assembled of the benefits of HR15, a measure criticized by Republicans as amnesty.

You know what? There are certain days of the year when I simply do not care what the ‘Dark Side’ of humanity is doing.
Such as Christmas, Easter, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, Independence Day, etc.

So – Happy Easter to everybody who posts on AmRen and the same to all the people who just read the articles and comments, but don’t post.

And yes, even to the trolls and to the people who ‘monitor’ this site (and other sites like AmRen).

We’re just regular people who’ve served our country in one way or another (when it was normal) and now just want to be left alone.

    • D.B. Cooper

This whole story smells worse than a lost Easter egg in May.
99.9% of everything Paleo-Pelosi says indicates she’s an atheist.
Now she decides to be holy?

    • JackKrak

Yes, I have a special one-fingered salute to everyone from SPLC, etc. that keeps an eye on us.

And I don’t think any of those people monitoring us celebrates Easter or Christmas…

    • CourtneyfromAlabama

Happy Easter, Mekong! How nice of you to write this. And you are right…..”He is Risen”! i am still figuring out who you are at Amren conferences, by the way. I know you say you attend, but I can understand why descriptions on here aren’t a good idea.

  • sbuffalonative

Well, Jesus said that when you pray you should do it in private so you don’t make a public spectacle of yourself.

And look, she even made sure their were photographers present (who she could have politely asked to not photograph her).

    • Lagerstrom

I’m quite sure that Jesus also said that people who engage in gross displays of public piety have already received their ‘reward’ for doing so here on Earth. That is. no further reward in heaven.

      • sbuffalonative

Yes, that was his follow up.

She has her earthly reward; a photo op.

      • Nancy Thomas

As I recall…Jesus walked the illegals to the border and said, “Go, and sin no more.”

        • John R

And Jesus never advocated disrespect for the civil law, either: “Give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s…” Also remember the good thief on the cross, with Jesus? “We are only paying for what we did; this man has done nothing wrong.”

    • NeanderthalDNA

Maybe she’s the second coming of Jesus. Feels this is something that should be documented.

      • AndrewInterrupted

Where you been hiding yourself, hamsamich?

        • NeanderthalDNA

          Sanity break, you know?

      • Garrett Brown

        Neanderthal!!! *high fives*

  • Lewis33

Do you think it’s a coincidence that her picture would be taken with decent looking Hispanic girls? See Amerika this is what you can have if you just stop your bigoted ways!

    • So CAL Snowman

You consider those girls to be decent looking?

      • Lewis33

Most here don’t find these people attractive, myself included, but the average sheeple looking at this story would find them much more appealing than your average, picked out of L.A. meximutt.

        • AndrewInterrupted

Typical Libtard propaganda on so many levels. Of course, the whole purpose was for a photo-op, but your point is the standard set-up. The mainstreamMarxistmedia (mMm) has perfected the ‘exploit the exception’ technique. Just as they have mastered other propaganda techniques like point&sputter, mockery, distract&redirect, suppress thru ignore, and on and on.

I made the same observation as you. Instead of choosing the obese, diabetic, scowling, Latin sows we see regularly, they choose youths.

          • Raymond Kidwell

I was surprised at the large number of good looking Mexicans when I was in Texas. Most of the immigrants people are familiar with are aztecs (or some other native tribe) and from the lowest rungs of said tribe. Also they are Guatemalans etc. The average mexican has a large percentage of white blood and usually fairly attractive. Even the natives have some attrative traits. I know that seems odd considering what most people see. It would be as if America took the ugliest trailer trash and immigrated it all to Canada and that was all the Canadians ever saw of America. Yet a lot of the immigrants are respectable working people. Although for some reason they seem to be given jobs that pay a lot higher than any jobs I can find. Myself I’ll probably have to start hanging around illegals if I want to find any decent work in this country. There is some kind of racism at work there. A lot of people don’t realize that the average farm job is $10 to $12 an hour plus free boarding and a lot of construction jobs at $12-$20 an hour are being given to these immigrants, but when white americans apply they will not hire said people, instead I’m left looking at $7 an hour work. Nonetheless even if they were importing Swedish super models I don’t understand why a nation would not enforce its own laws, or have a need for immigration levels that break all historic records and somehow want everybody to get on board with this.

          • AndrewInterrupted

You appeared to have encountered Mexicans with high levels of Conquistador blood. I’m told they are a small minority. Possibly you also encountered Mexicans in Texas who had mixed with Europeans in Texas. The Aztecs and Mestizos are the ones with the high obesity and diabetes rates. They seem to be in higher concentrations in California.

Don’t even get me started on the reverse discrimination in America. Even when white men are regularly excluded from their rightful, earned place in the workplace, they aren’t entitled to much of anything after they are sent to the unemployment line. They aren’t entitled to Section 8 or anything because they aren’t considered part of a “protected group”.

That means all white people naturally land on their feet. It’s in the Bible, or something. And that’s not discrimination? I want my country back.

          • mobilebay

I’m trying to figure out the lineage of Mayor Castro of San Antonio and his twin brother. They, of course, identify as Mexican, but their eyes seem to have an oriental shape. They also hope to bring the last few people left in Mexico to this country.

          • AndrewInterrupted

            Yeah, almost some southeast Asian.
            .

          • Bossman

Yes, these guys do look like they have a strong connection to Asia. They must be 100% Native American. But note well that their noses are less broad and flat than East Asians, also their eyes are less Mongolian than most East Asians.

          • AndrewInterrupted

Based on the Neanderthal and Solutrean evidence dating back 100,000 years in the Americas, that would make them 100% Phony Native Americans.
            .

          • Raymond Kidwell

There were some chinese ships that landed around Mexico prior to Columbus. Some of the East Asians on board interbred with members of the civilizations there. Besides that the people were already closely related to East Asians anyway. As a result there are some (though not all) natives of the area who look almost identical to East Asians (almost). Naturally those with high portions of Asian and Caucasion blood tend to rise up in rank. Thus your leaders typically look more white or asian than the average member of the population. In the same way leaders tend to be taller etc. than the average of their race or region. I would say the above are the typical 90% native and 10% white.

  • Luca

She is not “washing feet”, she is “kissing a$$”.

    • Lagerstrom

Check out the look on her face. I feel kind of ill.

  • shawnmer

How symbolic. If Nancy Pelosi is a stand-in for the U.S. at large (a scary enough thought in itself!), that’s a pretty accurate portrayal of our current dynamic with the foreign invaders.

    • JDInSanD

It would be more accurate if she was wiping them.

  • David Ashton

This gross exercise in self-promotion through masochism will fool no-none (least of all “Our Lord”).

  • Pro-abortion Pelosi wants these creatures aborted, along with all other babies, but if they’re not aborted, then she washes their feet? This reeks of political opportunism or insanity. Most likely, both. I would not attend a so-called “church” that allowed this woman inside it’s doors.

    • Alexandra1973

Oh, my church would allow her–but get this: the preacher preaches against sin and lets you know in no uncertain terms that without Christ you are on your way to hell.

No one would have to boot her out, she’d RUN out!

    • Garrett Brown

      Most certainly insanity.

  • So CAL Snowman

Nancy Pelosi on her knees groveling where she belongs. A pro-abortion liberal sycophant washing the brown feet of illegal alien invaders in a “Christian” church? That’s 2014 America in a nutshell. It’s not even hypocrisy, it’s just organized insanity. Hell the above image should be used on our National Seal – “E Pluribus Mexican”

    • AndrewInterrupted

National Seal – “E Pluribus Mexican”

      Now that is good stuff.

      • AndrewInterrupted

  • Ronald

This is probably a new low in political pandering. Even so, it raises the question of why the politicians are not washing the feet of unemployed Americans for purposes of honoring their dignity and the work they used to have.

    • CourtneyfromAlabama

Exactly, and there sure are a lot of white Americans who have had to experience unemployment in one form or another recently. It is really sad.

      • In my case, unemployment has been liberating, though I was careful to pay off the mortgage first.

  • Einsatzgrenadier

That’s right. Bow down and wash the feet of your new overlords, racially inferior third world mestizo invaders who could never build an advanced western civilization even if they wanted to. And the mestizo reconquista of the American southwest is all being done with your taxpayer dollars. Wake up, white man.

    • The Final Solution

They won’t even be able to maintain the one they’re conquering. They will hold what’s left of us at gunpoint and demand that we get things running again.

      • Dale McNamee

If that’s the case, none of us should comply… In fact, we should destroy the infrastructure and watch these “superior” Mexicans re-build it…
Oh,Wait ! They already have given us an example ! MEXICO itself….

    • CourtneyfromAlabama

Now wait a minute,……didn’t you read your liberal revisionist history books growing up? These mestizos were creating great civilizations that had advanced calendars while Europeans were living in mud huts! (sarcasm intended) 🙂

      • Bossman

No! They were savages by European standards but they were the first Americans even if the continent was not called America until the 1500s.

        • AndrewInterrupted

Not by a long shot, boss. They found a Neanderthal meat cache in Snowmass, Colorado that was 45,000 years old. Also, Solutrean artifacts off del Marva that were more than 20,000 years old (Cinmar discovery). The ocean was no obstacle. The Siberian arrivals were Johnny-come-latelys.

          • Bossman

You’re free to believe whatever you like but the truth of the matter is that Columbus did not meet any white Europeans when he arrived in the Americas in 1492.

          • AndrewInterrupted

People from the Iberian peninsula have been frequenting North America for 100, 000 years or more. They just found ancient Iberian DNA in western South America in just the past few years.

I thought Kennewick Man was determined to have been European? (I have the book Across Atlantic Ice but haven’t had time to read it yet though).
How are we going to get the science to shine through the lies?

          • AndrewInterrupted

It was believed to be Caucasoid at first glance. And a glance is all you get since the phony natives forced NAGPRA through. With the help of the ever gullible fool, John McCain, of course.

But, anthropologists sued, and won. The crux of their legal argument was: “How can anyone prove the remains are “Native” without proper analysis?”

They got the ‘Kennewick man’ remains back (9,300 years old), badly damaged and compromised, but were able to determine their origins to be closest to the Ainu tribes in Polynesia. This enters a 3rd group into the mix. The phony Indians don’t like where the science takes the narrative, thus NAGPRA, to prevent such further science from taking place.

This is nothing but a farce put on by lunatic Nancy. Proof? Ask dear Nancy if she has also had a change of heart on abortion. The official position of the Catholic Church is pro-life. I’d wager my last greenback that Nance is still going against the Church on this even for late-term abortion of the most gruesome sort.

    • gemjunior

Nancy should have been a partial birth abortion. The fact that this PIG is getting photographed washing feet , the fact that she is alive at all is enough to turn me into an atheist on Easter Sunday. Is wishing that Nancy was dead, stone cold on a slab somewhere, a sin? Because if so, I am a miserable sinner. I hate her so much that when I saw this picture I shouted “C U Next Tues!”, which is the only word befitting her. Feinstein also can be described with that word, but we’re talking about this whore, who believes she is a Christian. Can’t wait for her to stand in front of Jesus, I hope I get to see THAT drama.

  • IstvanIN

As someone who believes we should be live by the words of Christ where in the New Testament does it say you must wash the feet of criminals, invaders, thieves, and assorted other people who both commit and wish harm to you and yours?

    • coco bongo

It doesn’t. Jesus was showing the disciples by way of example how to be humble. Nancy is not Jesus though she may think she is. As others have pointed out, she is a hypocrite. More closely aligned with Satan.

      • Diversity Fatigue

Somehow I don’t think Jesus washed the feet of illegal immigrants. That would have been seen as condoning illegal behavior.

    • mobilebay

This woman should have been excommunicated long ago.

  • Whitetrashgang

Well at least something she touched is clean, I guess when she preforms 100 illegal abortion tonight it evens out.

  • Who Me?

I am totally in accord with the commercial side of Easter. Yeah, chocolate bunnies, expensive baskets mostly filled with fake grass, dyed eggs hidden by parents for kids to hunt for and then waste, ham and all the fixings for dinner and nary a word about serious matters. Oestara was a sensual Pagan holiday celebrating the renewed fertility of fields, animals and humans. Passover is a celebration of the Jews escaping the captivity and slavery of Egypt. Christian Easter is the celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter as we celebrate it in America now is a sort of mash-up of all three. For me it is a holiday I would prefer to ignore for some very personal reasons, but having raised children, I had to make some concessions, therefore the celebration of the commercial aspects.

    • Ahnenerbe

hebes were never held in captivity in Egypt, they left with possessions and gold, enough to make a golden calf in the desert. How do slaves have enough gold to make a golden calf? They got deported like the numerous times in history because they infiltrate and subvert gentile societies for financial gain

      • Alexandra1973

        Exodus 32:1-4

        32 And
when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount,
the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him,
Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the
man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is
        become of him.

        2 And
Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the
ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them
        unto me.

3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.

        4 And
he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool,
after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O
Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

        • Ahnenerbe

A lot of big golden earrings, huh? I’m don’t think in the course of history slaves owned golden earrings.

          • Alexandra1973

They might have. How many of them came out of Egypt? Quite a few. And of course it doesn’t say how big the idol was.

          • Bossman

Because those stories are all mythological and allegorical. They never happened.

          • Ahnenerbe

Some parts of the fables may have happened , they have just been highly dramatized and twisted like a good propaganda Hollywood movie

      • Who Me?

Well now, fair is fair. Passover is a Jewish holiday, so they get to make up the story behind their celebration. “Brought out of slavery” is the story they chose. We make up the stories behind our celebrations–or at least we used to be able to. Like Santa Claus, etc. So who cares what their story on Passover is. Their celebration, their traditions, not MY problem.

        • Ahnenerbe

Also, the hebes celebration of Passover is for the jewish children who were not killed by plague like the Egyptian first born males. hebes actually celebrate the deaths of Egyptian children

          • Who Me?

That was the last of the 10 plagues. After that one, didn’t the Egyptians PAY to get rid of them? I think that was supposedly where they got the gold to make the calf, at least in the legend.

    • Alexandra1973

I don’t call it “Easter.” Jesus rose from the death three days after Passover. Sometimes Passover and Easter are close to a month apart. Hm.

Celebrating His resurrection is fine, but leave the rabbits and eggs out of it. Those have to do with fertility, and Easter (Ishtar) is a pagan fertility goddess.

      • IstvanIN

The religious celebration and the fun aspects of the holiday are two separate things. We know that. I think we can allow children a little fun without turning into heathens.

      • I prefer Beltane.

        • Lagerstrom

Yeah…me too. British folklore is fascinating. The remnants are still around. I like Easter because I have four days off work, and that it revolves, so to speak, around the Moon. I always look at the Moon.

    • Dale McNamee

My church doesn’t call it Easter… It’s “Resurrection Sunday”, we celebrate the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ !

Nancy Pelosi, and the priest sitting next to her, are both examples of gender role problems gone crazy in this country. The priest looks like a feminized male, at least in this photo with the way he is smiling at the hispanic girls.

Nancy Pelosi, on the other hand, in 90% of her photos, looks like she is about to burst a vein in her head. Here she looks more feminine, but it looks like she is trying hard to do something unnatural. As for how she looks in her other photos most of the time, it is a fine example as to why women shouldn’t go into high ranks of politics. I don’t think women’s bodies are really made for that type of stress. Her and Hilary are fine examples. They seriously look as if they are about to burst blood vessels in their heads, just about every photo I see!

    • AndrewInterrupted

All politicians, female and male, should have to submit to hormone level testing.

Jesus washed the feet of his disciples to symbolize something: That as much as they respect Him, realize that by His humbling Himself they should do all the more for each other. It was the same when the Holy Father (The Pope, to you non-Catholics out there.) washed the feet of ordinary people. But when a liberal White politician washes the feet of non-white people-especially immigrants-what meaning do you think THEY derive by it? “We have YT groveling at our feet. YT on the run!” That is why her gesture was so inappropriate.
