Hundreds of Immigrants Storm Spanish Enclave on Moroccan Coast

France 24, March 18, 2014

Hundreds of would-be immigrants tried to force their way into Spain’s North African enclave of Melilla during the early hours of Tuesday, the Moroccan government said, in what was one of the largest mass crossing attempts in years.

“At 7am, 600 illegal migrants tried to force the crossing to the occupied enclave of Melilla at Oued Tighorafine point, in the rural area of Beni Chiguer,” Morocco’s Interior Ministry said in a statement.

Some of the immigrants threw stones at security forces, injuring five officers.

Although they are on the coast of Morocco, the towns of Melilla and Ceuta are legally Spanish territory. A total of 102 immigrants were arrested during the incident, 28 of whom were injured and hospitalised in the nearby Moroccan city of Nador, the Interior Ministry said.

Abdelmalik El Barkani, the Spanish governor of Melilla, said that the crossing was “one of the biggest in recent years”.

Immigrants from all over Africa regularly try to reach the Spanish zones either by swimming along the coast or scaling the triple walls that separate them from Morocco.

{snip} Just hours before immigrants stormed Melilla on Tuesday morning, a separate group tried to breach the enclave’s perimeter, leading to the arrests of 150 people.

The last major attempt to cross into Melilla took place on February 28, when more than 200 immigrants stormed across the border. {snip}

In the weeks before that, the European Union asked Spain to explain why police had fired rubber bullets in warning at another group of African immigrants as they tried to swim to Ceuta. The shots caused panic, leading to the deaths of 14 people. Spain later banned border guards from using rubber bullets to repel immigrants.

Those who do succeed in reaching Spanish territory are generally placed in temporary centres while the authorities try to repatriate them. Some are eventually released and told they must leave Spain.

A rubber-bullet machine gun would come in handy. Or, they could just electrify the fence. It seems farmers build more effective fences than our governments do.

    • sbuffalonative

There are many solutions but few are politically acceptable today.

    • Sick of it

Why not use a real machine gun? And razor wire. And land mines. And poison gas in a little ditch going through the border.

      • Chris Granzow XI

I wish. But I think that if they used rubber bullets or tear gas they could probably get by without getting slammed by “humans rights” groups.

  • And someone has the great idea to build a tunnel under the Strait of Gibraltar between Spain and Morocco. SMH.

  • Einsatzgrenadier

These are not “immigrants”. Immigrants are wanted by the host population and are capable of being racially and culturally assimilated. These are 3rd world colonizers and invaders, who are neither wanted nor capable of being assimilated, racially or culturally. Europeans better be prepared to shoot the invaders on sight if they want to avoid having their countries turned into 3rd world muslim-infested multicult hellholes.

    • Right on! Call a spade a spade. Invaders from an invading army of alien beings is what they are. Call them that. Shoot on sight and repatriate BODIES.

  • David Ashton

    Every picture tells a story.

And more and more and more to come if you look at the demographic projections….

    • PvtCharlieSlate

The story that picture tells is why machine guns were invented.

  • dd121

This should be a cautionary tale for whites, but it won’t.

  • WR_the_realist

Camp of the Saints was prophetic.

The shots caused panic, leading to the deaths of 14 people. Spain later
banned border guards from using rubber bullets to repel immigrants.

That people died was the fault of those trying to immigrate illegally. But of course Spain responds by banning the one effective way of hold off the human tidal wave.

BTW, it’s long past time they electrified that fence.

The African TFR (Total Fertility Rate) is the highest in the world. They are in the process of soaring from 1 billion to 2 billion in population.

Defend yourselves, or they will be upon you like locusts.

One thing no intelligent person would ever say, this place is great but what we really need is a few more negroes.

  • Tarczan

Is it just me, but doesn’t it seem the bad news is just accelerating, as if we are approaching some turning point?

    • Agreed. The enemy is embolded to invade, rape, pillage, and murder, with no restraint by government. The turning point will be when mass numbers of white people defy their governments and slaughter the invaders in large numbers. We have the guns and ammo and some are ready to start using them.

  • LHathaway

This is almost brown on brown hatred. . . Parts of Spain aren’t looking to white, these days?

  • Pro_Whitey

I am reminded of a scene in “The Green Berets” where the Viet Cong/NVA trying to scale the fences are burned alive with jets of flame. Something like that would be appropriate there.

  • Rhialto

Notice how the EU is on the side of the invaders, and opposed to its member nations securing their borders. The EU started out as the Common Market, a European economic union. It has morphed into the current Liberal monstrosity, working to destroy White Europeans.

    • Extropico

This is actually the central reason I have taken Putin’s side on the Ukrainian matter. The IMF EU people will never tell the Ukrainians up front of their migration schemes.

      • Geo1metric

I do believe that Putin “gets it.”

    • Geo1metric

It’s interesting that people have an aversion to “conspiracy theories”, and in truth, there are some really nutty ones extant. But consider the fact that institutions can live for centuries, and have no trouble planning and overseeing “projects” for decades, even centuries. Banks especially come to mind.

  • JohnEngelman

What makes those people feel that they have a right to move to countries that do not need them and do not want them?

    • 1gravity

But that is just it, economically strong elements of the European countries, including Spain, do want them, as cheap labor. That’s why they come.

      • NordicHeritage

You just have to love the multinational corps. and the chase to make a buck no matter the cost to their previous host nations.

        • Geo1metric

Considering how our own kind treated us in the past, we need to understand that only “we” can protect ourselves. Think “child labor”, “indentured servant”, and “serf”.

    • Dey gots ta be haben dat, gnome sayin’?

These invaders want the things we have worked hard to create. I made a nice storage chest for the tools I use to make fishing lures and flies last week. It had been an old 105mm tank ammo crate. I refinished it and made nice compartmented wooden boxes to go inside. They want that; they think that’s theirs. They also want my home and my wife and daughter as well, along with yours, and all of all or money, and then – because we are males – they want our lives.

      • Geo1metric

        “Molon labe”

  • I recently met a nice white lady of 60 who lives alone and is terrified that she is going to be sent to a FEMA extermination camp or that the Mexican invasion here in Texas will overwhelm her. I unfortunately had no words of comfort to offer her. Likewise, there seems little that Europe is willing to do to stem the tide of hostile invaders.

My friend would like to find a safe haven country to move to, but I do not know of a single one. She’s Italian and was thinking of Italy, but I don’t think that’s the answer. She’s too old and weak to fight.

  • IstvanIN

It is time to for nations to either give up on “overseas territorries” or “autonomous regions” and other ambiguous realtionships and declare any and all territories to be an integral part of the nation or make them independent. Ceuta, Mellila, Gibralter, Falklands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Puerto Rico, Arizona, etc. They are either a full fledged part of your nation whose borders you defend with deadly force or you give them up. One or the other. These quasi independent states needs to go. And once that declaration is made, defend them, and make it clear that if you climb my fence or otherwise violate my borders I shoot to kill. A few deaths of these invaders will make it clear that a nation is not to be trifled with. Not only to good fences make good neighbors, so do sharp shooters.

    • MBlanc46

When I was in Spain in the 1970s there was a lot of graffiti demanding that the British get out of Gibraltar. Once I saw a piece that read (in Spanish) “Ceuta and Melilla, Spanish forever”.

  • MBlanc46

“Spain later banned border guards from using rubber bullets to repel immigrants.”

I trust this means that they’ve changed to the lead variety.

  • we fought 2 world wars overseas yet we cant even defend OUR own borders.

    • Jesse James

We could but the traitorous global elites who are our self appointed leaders don’t want to defend our borders. They don’t even want to allow us to have borders.

  • wildfirexx

If Franco was still Alive, he would be hanging these illegal aliens by the balls, for border jumping!

  • wildfirexx

There is a good Y-Tube video you can google… on these happy-go-lucky young black men racing through the streets near the border of Spain in North Africa… waving and giving the peace sign, and grinning from ear to ear that salvation is just ahead!
What they don’t realize though, is what they think is Heaven for them, is what White countries think is Hell for us!
It makes you wonder how they all arrived at precisely the same time.
Probably truckloads of Human Cargo at a price $$.

I have no sympathy for or sorrow over the deaths of these descendents of Homo-Erectus. They are a scourge on humanity, Kipling was right about the White Mans burden, only he should have called it the White Man’s fatal affliction.

  • scutum

Kenelm Digby is right, the elites in allmost all Western countries are sociopaths who see the rest of humanity as pawns to be used as they see fit, regardless of the consequences. They are the worst sort of scum and remind me of Al Capones comment regarding Wall Street and why he never played the market. “It’s a racket. Those stock market guys are crooked.”

  • superlloyd3 coon

They’re incapable of building or contributing to the greater good of humanity as their pitiful history demonstrates. In 6,000 years of civilisation they’ve created the mud hut and jenkem. Their modus operandi is parasitical destruction when brought into civilised countries.
