Man Found Guilty in Shooting over Child’s Balloon in Clarksville

Dennis Ferrier, WSMV (Clarksville, TN), September 25, 2013

An argument that began over a child’s balloon could send two men to prison for a very long time. They’re accused of opening fire on a house hunter as she was getting ready to show a property last year in Clarksville.

Following a previous guilty plea by the accused shooter to a charge of aggravated assault, the man believed to be his accomplice decided to try his fate with a jury trial.

On Wednesday, the jury found 22-year-old James Bagwell guilty of two counts of second-degree attempted murder as well as three other reckless endangerment charges.

Things turned violent after a 2-year-old got her hands on the balloon tied to a home that agent Tammy Earp planned to show to an interested couple in September 2012.

When Earp’s boyfriend told the child to put it back, an argument ensued with some of the residents along Barkwood Drive.

A Ford Thunderbird with five men inside soon arrived and tried to block Earp’s path. As the men exited the Thunderbird, officers said one of them started shooting.

Handgun rounds struck the door and hood of the woman’s car as well as a nearby house.

I have found that blacks, even well grown adult blacks, have a juvenile attraction to balloons. There was a black politician who recently spoke on the House floor about the danger of not having enough helium for balloons.

    • Erasmus

What’s he worried about? Not enough helium for him to get a high? Because helium is unavailable for people to get their freak on, they’ll be forced to turn to drugs?

    • Sick of it

Balloons ARE fun…but not worth killing over.

      • Erasmus

Balloons ARE fun…but not worth killing over.

Rational people know this. That they’d kill over balloons or similar trivialities show how largely irrational blacks often are.

(When I read stories like this one and then hear Obama and other black clowns in positions of leadership burble about how “diversity is our strengf,” I realize just how completely out-of-touch they really are.

        • Sick of it

See, you have to read between the lines. When they say things like “our strength” or “most Americans” they aren’t referring to what actual Americans think or how it will affect them – They’re talking about how well it fits with the elite agenda. “Most elites” or “the strength of the elites” would be better phrases.

    • The problem over helium is that it is only obtained from natural gas wells. Radioactive decay of uranium deep underground produces alpha particles, which are really just stripped helium nuclei. The resulting helium is trapped in the same rock formations that trap natural gas.

Helium is so light that at atmospheric temperatures, the atoms move at escape velocity, so residence time for helium in the atmosphere is very limited. Since helium has valuable properties (like being chemically inert, so it makes a dandy shielding gas for welding some alloys that can’t tolerate CO2 or N2), it ought to be conserved. The Helium Act of 1925 was recently allowed to expire; gas drilling operations are no longer required to conserve it. Unfortunately, this means the cost will rise until helium is valuable enough to keep.

If an Afritard member of the US House of Representatives was worried about balloons during the debate about continuing the Helium Act, this speaks volumes about the critter’s intellect.

        Argon walks into a bar.
Bartender says “We don’t like your kind here”.
        Argon doesn’t react.

    Guns don’t kill. Blacks do.

Hey, amrenners! Let’s all sing along:

Take the last train to Clarksville
And I’ll meet you at the station
Blacks will kill you over a balloon
In this formerly First World nation…

There’s not even a trace of reason in their thought process when dealing with just minor altercations. Just impulse and no consideration of the consequences.

I can’t think of a MORE rational reason to ‘butht a cap on yo’ ass’ than fighting over a balloon.

    Can you?

Sounds like a clear case of a 2-yr old with an African American entitlement mentality being denied a freebie and disrespected by a White adult.

Clearly a justification to chimp out and start firing weapons.

  • disqus_Xz3UA6obwj

Where do you EVER see whites acting with such a complete lack of personal restraint as to pull a gun and start shooting over something as trivial as this? Yet blacks will shoot you for taking their parking space at the mall or just looking at them wrong.

    • 1proactive2

Blacks has automatic excuse makers in the media, and those people are black and liberal white.

Blacks will also shoot you if you accidentally bump into them, step on their shoe, when you ask them to be quiet in a movie or restaurant, or ask them to turn their radio down. They have the emotional maturity level of pre-adolescents to include a level of impulse control common with that age group. Besides, it is considered “manly” to destroy people who they imagined as having insulted them.

    • joesolargenius

Which is why us more experience Whites avoid any contact at all with them unless it is necessary ,however the other day I couldn’t resist scaring one yoof by replying to his comment of what are you looking at n—–r. My reply was I am looking at you n—-r
It scares the crap out of them when they are all alone and a White Man calls them that. Somehow or another he decided to just stop running his mouth and start looking the other way.

    • Erasmus

Even the trashiest wiggers don’t pull stunts like this.

While such behavior is not one that civilized people would emulate, this story has a deeper significance. As late as the ’50s, it was well known that the “Blacks” could never succeed in undermining the greater society simply because they did not possess group solidarity. On the other hand, up to that time, the White community was united in common purpose, despite their political and philosophical differences.

After the “know nothing” 60s 70s activists took control the reigns of political power and the corrupt legal system, as well as the Government school system, they acted to cause Government to “fix” this “unequal” situation. All sorts of programs and legal maneuvers were implemented by the White political ruling class to divide the White community and to cause that community to lose its’ sense of community and commonality. At the same time, concurrent Governmental actions were employed in order to increase “Black” group solidarity. This is clearly shown in this case where one “Black” felt “disrespected”. The result was the arrival of a carload of “Blacks” to settle his imagined slight.

It might be a good idea for ordinary White people to return to their roots. The first step to this end is the need to understand that there really is a war being conducted against the non-ruling class White community, and for them to begin acting like White men once again.

Ronald- I could not agree with you more. I gave said a hundred times in a hundred different conversations that racism is just a ruse word used to cloak classism. When you look at America and South Africa, the non elite whites are immune to the to the violence that Die-versity brings with it because they can live in high priced areas that are insulated with walls, security systems, etc. Middle class and working class white men and women encounter Diversity to, from, and at work, and are often bullied out of jobs because there are no worker protections anymore for Whites. Middle class and lower class whites are often victimized due to having perceived white privilege, when in fact they are far from privileged.

Working and Middle class whites must unite against the elites. They must work together in building families. If we produce more offspring than the elite, we beat them

      • joesolargenius

You are correct in stating that the White middle and working class need to stick together, however they first need to convince White Women that they have to support White Men and stop looking the other way when they are attacked. I have constantly watched this happen over the last twenty years and I understand that a division between the sexes was intentionally caused by the Socialist Party whom used the Female Homosexual community to convince women that they had to stand up for each other and against men.
Most White Women in America have more material objects but less happiness in life and family cohesion., As an ex insurance agent I can vouch for the rise of Alcoholism in that group and learned early on to check the amount of empty wine bottles in the Kitchen. White Heterosexual Women have been conned into harming themselves by putting the family in second or third place after career or fun. The true Homosexual community members are usually childless and so work and fun is their only major concerns, not family

        • White Mom in WDC

          I agree

      • Andy

I think there is truth to this, but I don’t think it’s conscious at all. In my experience, wealthy white people might be contemptuous of poorer whites (but they think of them as “conservatives” or “racists” rather than “poor”, since they like poor people), but they do not actually intend them any harm and really believe the stupid things they say they believe. I grew up in an area at least 98% white, where you could leave your doors unlocked, the schools were safe and peaceful, and most people were educated enough that they weren’t badly affected by affirmative action. The people weren’t evil; they were naive. I hope to salvage our elites. For all their faults, they’ve got a lot of our most productive genes stored up, and I don’t think their political idiocies are linked to their book-smarts.

  • Katherine McChesney

I hate the black race. A lifetime of experience around them has made me come to the conclusion that they are not worth the time and effort to help them out of their self-imposed life of misery. They deserve every negative thing that happens to them. It’s the Curse of Ham and that will never be broken.

    • Spartacus

“I’ve a mind to cancel my membership and tell them I don’t appreciate their anti-White politics.”

Do it. Your money and attention are to important to be wasted on marxist scum.

  • LIBERTYSINCURSION

Balloons? < Well, stupid is as stupid does! Which is why being black should be illegal!

  • bubo

Blacks complete lack of impulse control can turn any interaction with them into a deadly situation.

A shooting can happen over words, a look, a scuffed shoe or in this case a balloon.

Needless to say stranger on stranger crime is much more prevalent among blacks than any other racial group. Of course, noting this behavior makes one a “racist.”

  • Earl Turner

    Yep. They’re just like us.

  • cablegirls

In the comments on the original story, someone explained that a neighborhood black woman stole the balloon for her kid, then there was the argument.

  • bilderbuster

The 2 year old pickaninny started it with the balloon jacking.

  • The perps left the scene and then drove back with guns and reinforcements? How typical! If they were going to that much trouble, why not just drive to the nearest Sonic for some nachos and limeade instead? The “sense of proportion” molecule in the groid’s brain must have passed its Mean Time Between Failure.

As a correction to the text of the original article, I would replace the phrase “Things turned violent…” with “The groids chimped out…”. I have it on good authority that “things” don’t just “turn violent”.

I can see it all now:

    “What are you in for?”

“I shot up a neighborhood over a toy balloon because my baby gots ta be haben dat, gnome sayin. Now gibs me your honkey cracker shoes”.

Under federal law, I am permanently forbidden firearms, but these moral imbeciles and intellectual children are allowed them. Isn’t it so very nice that our government has its priorities in order?

  • Andy

If I understand correctly, the issue was that it was not the child’s balloon.

  • This idiot’s worries aside, the only problem Guam has is an introduced infestation of Boiga irregularis. This is actually very similar to Washington D.C., which is also full of invasive snakes.

  • APaige

    Yes.

  • Ella

In some States, it is illegal to spank in public. So, I guess you supposed to let your child run free in parking lots or climb shelves at the grocery store until they receive a serious injury, or you risk receiving a ticket. (sarcastic)

    • Ariadne has never been spanked; after the example my ex-father set, I just don’t have the heart for it. She’s also a good kid, so the worst she’s experienced is a stern lecture.

To the extent that swatting children is sometimes warranted, I believe doing it in public is boorish.

  • Joe Sewell

Tammy Earp was a pathetic witness. Her ‘crying’ can only be the result of being hit in the face with a reality she’s not prepared to accept. Thinking she may have been a ‘trayvon supporter’?

  • “Yoofs”? No… make that “children”… no… “babies”. At 22, yes, he’s just a “baby”.
