Second Family Accuses Disneyland of Racism After Donald Duck Refuses to Hug Their Son

Daily Mail (London), February 9, 2013

The second family in as little as a week has come forward with allegations that a Disneyland character snubbed them because they were black.

The White family said they took their son, Ryder, to Disneyland to celebrate his birthday in December.

The day was going well until Razzi White, 5, walked up to a performer in a Donald Duck costume at the park’s Main Street.

‘He was sitting there with his arms open, saying, ‘Donald, Donald!’ said mother Nastasia White.

Nastasia claims that rather than play with her son, Donald deliberately walked away from him to play with a white baby in a stroller.

The Whites said they waited patiently for their turn – long enough that even the baby’s parents urged Donald to play with Razzi – but Donald ignored them.

Nastasia asked for picture, but says Donald instead went to a young white girl on a bench on hugged her.

Finally the family gave up and left, only to turn back and see Donald hugging the white children that had been waiting behind her.

A second family has come forward with claims that a Disneyland character ignored their children because of the color of their skin.

‘I was upset and hurt. He was very sad,’ she said.

White told reporters at ABC 10 News that Razzi asked her: ”Why didn’t Donald want to take a picture with me?’ Inside, I wanted to cry. This was discrimination.’

She claims it was impossible she misread the situation.

‘I didn’t because it was done in a blatant and ugly way,’ she said.

She complained to the park management and was sent a letter offering her passes to the front of attraction lines for her ‘disappointment.’

The Whites are the second family to accuse the performers of being racist, with a Spring Valley family filing suit against Disneyland, saying that the White Rabbit had ignored their sons, niece, and nephew.

Attorney Dan Gilleon is now representing both families.

‘I’ve gotten many emails and voicemails that I’m looking into. What this tells me is this isn’t an isolated incident. It doesn’t mean Disneyland is racist, but they have some people in the company who aren’t playing by the rules and are being discriminatory,’ GIlleon said.

Gilleon said he’d subpoena Disney for surveillance video of the incidents.

Disney officials said they did not believe the original complaint was about discrimination, only a child being ignored, and would not confirm whether the incidents involved two employees playing different characters.

Kind of creepy so many black families want their children touched…

    • LastBastionOfHope

The funny part is, if Mr. Donald Duck got a little “too playful”, they would sue for that too LOL. You can’t win with blacks. You either deprive them, or do something in excess.

      • sbuffalonative

Exactly. You lose either way which is only one reason I avoid contact with blacks.

    • Jefferson

I almost spit the soda I was drinking on my laptop screen when you said that. You are a very funny guy.

    • Extropico

Disney should countersue for sexual harrasment. Their employees should not have to face unwanted and offensive touching.

  • 48224

    Donald Duck in the Klan????

The saying used to be, “lefists see a racist behind every door.” Now I guess they see one behind every duck.
This is just the latest money grab by the professional victims know as blacks. After all, when Vice President Biden goes on TV and says, “dey gonna put ya’ll back in chains” why the heck shouldn’t blacks belive Donald Duck is a racist.
Democrats are destroying the United States.

    • StillModerated

Other racist Disney characters include Roger Rabbit, Huey, Dewey, Louis, Scrooge McDuck, Snow White, and the Seven Dwarfs. Bring them all out exclusively on black fambly days.

  • Some Guy

Attorney Dan Gilleon likes to play the Ghetto Lottery. I like how on his advert banner he says “taking advantage”. Well Dan that is just what you are doing to Disney!!

    • Katherine McChesney

He says he takes ‘dead aim’ at people. He probably panders to minorities. Kind of like a ‘Morris Dees’.

      • gemjunior

Maybe one of the blacks he defends will come back to haunt him, like the LAPD negro on the lam. He came after his defense lawyer’s daughter and put a deadly bullet in her. This is what happens when white skeeves like Dan Gilleon and Morris Dees try to make cash by pretending to help them, something will come back to terrorize them. Can’t say I’m too sorry although it shouldn’t have been his daughter, although I think she was a liberal lawyer too? I absolutely live for the day that Morris Dees is given his “sincere thanks” from one of his “clients”. And it’s coming.

        • Vanessa

I’m gonna be dancing and celebrating when Morris Dees gets his! That guy carries his nuts around in a plastic bag

  • ImNotRacistOWaitYesIAm

The first family to get a lawyer had the last name Black.
This family’s last name is White.

There’s a good joke in there somewhere.

    • JDInSanDiego

      Let’s see:

What’s Black and White and filing discrimination lawsuits all over? The Blacks and Whites.
What’s Black and White and Red all over? Obama
What’s Black and White and deteriorating all over? The USA
Why did the duck cross Main St? To get to the safer side.

      • jane johnson

The duck wanted to avoid MLK Blvd.

  • First one, now two. By tomorrow, it will be like 800.

    • Tom Iron

but the question is, are there enough liars/lawyers to take their cases???

  • Luca

I wonder if there is a video showing that the family wasn’t standing in line, or waiting their turn. Not that it would matter, I realize that blacks are allowed to cut in front of everyone. Just like how Mexicans will get whisked to the front of the immigration line.

  • Barrack Osama

So yeah. This civilization is finished.

  • HarmsTorheit

even if what they are saying is the case to file a law suit about such a minor non-issue
demonstrates their obvious sense of self importance and their perception that everybody ought to bow down to the diversity crowd
btw not wanting to get to close with blacks is rather understandable given their very strong tendency towards anti social behaviour

    • HamletsGhost

      . . . or their body odor.

It must be hard enough to breathe in those costumes at best. Holding one of those Afro-sheeners and breathing the same air would probably make you puke in your suit.

  • THE MAN

Who knew that the cartoon characters we grew up enjoying were racist . Please don’t say anything about Bugs Bunny ,I don’t want to know . Or the Road Runner !

    • The__Bobster

But they were….very racist. And I loved them.

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgyC3TOirjE

      • THE MAN

Hey I remember this one ! It was many years ago a different time and a different country ! Thanks The_ Bobster !

  • professor

If you touch them you lose and if you don’t you lose, looks like a no win situation from here. Pretty good scam they have going for them.

  • He’s

I think the answer to this problem is not letting whites come to Disneyland anymore. That way we can rest assured black children Don’t have to compete with more attractive white children for Donald’s affection. Or we could replace all the Disney characters with black thugs. So that way when a black child is ignored it can at least be by one of there own which is a lesson they should be learning early anyway. And that’s not racist at least. And the measure of all virtue is how not racist it is and how good a thing is for blacks.

    • The__Bobster

Would you believe that Disney actually targets congoids in their commercials.

They wanted trouble. Well, they got it.

      • Katherine McChesney

        There’s part of their defense.

      • Joseph

Exactly what I was thinking. I’ll bet the characters in the inclusive commercial don’t discriminate.

I suppose the next suits will be from gays who claim discrimination because they ran out of “Rainbow Mickey Cookies” during one of the annual Anaheim gay orgies.

    • Katherine McChesney

Perhaps they should have characters dressed as black panthers and nation of islam.

      • Joseph

Don’t they already have some turban-topped sand-people in one of those annoying cartoon movies to pander to that segment?

  • LastBastionOfHope

In a massive amusement park, with hundreds of thousands of people walking around including tons of screaming little kids everywhere, apparently not coming over to one kid is “racist”. White people would say “Donald is a little busy guys…let’s go see Daffy!”. Black people look for racism under their bed, at Disneyland, and even under that moldy slice of pizza they left on the counter. They are starved for it. The thought of making something about race gives them orgasms.

When I was a child, I was ignored by tons of pro baseball and football players begging for an autograph just like thousands of other kids. I didn’t realize it was because they just hated white people though! Makes sense now! I DEMAND REPARATIONS!

  • The__Bobster

First the Black fambly, now the White fambly. Will the Brown fambly play the ghetto lottery next?

    • Katherine McChesney

      How about the Gray ‘fambly’?

  • The__Bobster

If these grievance collectors win, White kids will never get any attention at all in the park.

    • Joseph

NO kids will ever get any attention in the park.

  • bigone4u

The black guy in the Michael Jackson costume will hug your sons all they want Madam. He’s waiting for them in the men’s room. Just go north on Mickey Drive and take a right on Donald Avenue.

  • MikeS

    Razzi? That’s a new one.

    • JDInSanDiego

His full name is probably LaRaza N’on White.

      • MikeS

It wouldn’t suprise me at all.

  • IstvanIN

Dan Gilleon, another reason why we are doomed, too many of us work against us.

    • whiteyyyyy

After reading So Cal’s comment I’m starting to think he probably hired them. He’ll probably get a dozen more blacks calling him looking to sue mickey, goofy and whoever.

  • So CAL Snowman

What are the odds the the families involved would be named Black and White? Something definitely stinks here.

“The Whites said they waited patiently for their turn – long enough that
even the baby’s parents urged Donald to play with Razzi – but Donald
    ignored them.”

“White told reporters at ABC 10 News that Razzi asked her: ”Why didn’t Donald want to take a picture with me?’ Inside, I wanted to cry. This was discrimination.’

This is some completely made up baloney. A 5 year old complaining about discrimination?

    • liberalsuck

Liberals always have to use children to push their agendas. “What about the children?”

  • Daisy

I just think this is pure comedy.

    • Daisy

I’m adding that I’m amazed at how many on here actually think this alleged snubbing happened regardless of whether justified or not. I’ve just seen too many black people make things up out of whole cloth to believe these absurd projections. People willing to dress up as cartoon characters are now discriminating?! Hello?

      • Joseph

Years ago there was a fairly minor bus crash out in Phil. or somewhere east. They had some dozens of blacks claim that they were injured in the accident. The curious thing is that the bus capacity was less than the number of claimants and the driver had already made his last stop and was returning to the garage for the night when the collision occurred.

Probably still no challenge to collect if you’re black.

  • David Ashton

Further proof that Walt Disney was a Nazi – oh, no, someone else owns the business now!

  • Diamond_Lil

Obviously the white Disney characters are being targeted. White Rabbit and white Donald are racist. Black Mickey, black Minnie and brown Chip and Dale are A-ok.

  • gemjunior

They are shameless. Nothing embarrasses them. Not one moment of clarity or lucidity hits them that they are convinced a large Disney character is racist toward them. You can BARELY see out of those costumes. Plus why should anyone be forced to hug anyone, especially people who are probably thinking of mugging them or saying rude and threatening things. Behaving black. He was probably afraid to touch the kids for the same reason he is now being sued. The disgust I feel for these negroes is boundless. I run from them on sight, or walk pretty briskly and I don’t care if they feel any which way about it. Tough.

    • Katherine McChesney

I ignore them where I live. I have crossed the street to avoid them. I look away to avoid eye contact with them. I want nothing to do with any of them.

    • Tom Iron

      “I run”
      _________________
Then you think they’re good for giving you a free work out???

    • Sean

You sound skittish, perhaps some therapy?

Seriously, they are a bummer as a race, but running is excessive.

  • I have to wonder here how so many black kids have such affection for a comic character, ‘Donald, Donald!’, that I haven’t seen on TV in years. Do blacks TV’s receive signals that have been delayed longer than their sweet little “Razzi” has been alive?

And I can only laugh at the black being named White ….

This will be a class action before it is over. “Da graybee train only come roun so offen”.

Too offset the cost of dispense I guess Disneyland could start selling “My Son/Daughter (Grandson/Granddaughter) was felt up, I mean hugged by Donald Duck” t-shirts.

    • IstvanIN

My Grandson watches new Disney videos all the time. He loves Mickey. I think the Disney characters may also be on the Disney channel, although from what I have seen with my nieces the Disney channel seems to be mostly live action.

      • I don’t have cable …..

  • Greg Thomas

Diversity…more trouble than it’s worth. I wonder if Disney has had their fill yet?

  • Jefferson

Someone should compile a list of the top 10 most frivolous race related lawsuits ever filed by Black people.

  • StillModerated

First the White Rabbit, then white Donald Duck, tsk tsk! Disney must import some WB characters for pandering to minorities: Marvin the Martian and Daffy Duck (black), Taz and his missuss (brown), and Tweety Bird — just because blacks like him/her.

  • Tim_in_Indiana

This is a typical example of leftist, biased MSM news “reporting.” Notice how there are extensive direct quotes from the black family, as well as their lawyer, but there are no direct quotes from a Disney lawyer. No alternative explanations are given. It must be racism. This is how the MSM always acts when reporting a story of supposed white “racism.” They must always dance and pussyfoot around black claims, no matter how ridiculous they may be.

  • Joseph

It would be fun to discover that the person playing Donald Duck (it IS a person in a costume, isn’t it?) turns out to be a black person. Maybe they can still sue the white costume or blame dead Walt. I dunno. I’m sure their is still somebody to shake down in the food chain.

    • Urban Teacher

Many years ago, a college friend of my son’s was working as one of the costumed characters at Disney World when a group of black kids came up to him. One looked into the costume and said “There’s a white guy in there” at which the black kids began to pummel him and he had to be rescued by Disney World staff.

  • odious liberal

I never had time to take my kids to Disneyland, I had to work.

  • Around blacks… hug them?

    No thanks.

  • Angry White Woman

You’ve got to be some kind of brain damaged masochist to wear one of those costumes more than once! I was once stupid enough to get myself hired as the “Easter Bunny” at our local mall. The headpiece is heavy, hard to balance, and the only air you get is through the mesh-covered “mouth” of the character (Which is where you look out.) If you wear glasses they immediately get fogged up, so you have to go in blind. You can’t wipe your face when the sweat starts trickling into your eyes. On top of that you are stuffed into a gloved and padded suit, so you have a rabbit shape, not human shape. (I got my 16 y/o nephew to continue the job.) If you are over the age of 17, it is unendurable! Guaranteed, the character was not discriminating against their precious little Razzi. (Razzi? Really?) Whoever was in that costume was hot, blinded, miserable out there in the hot California sun and didn’t see their kid!
Oh and BTW, how many WHITE kids didn’t get hugged that day?

  • Donald Duck was my favorite Disney character. Now I know why.

  • black mark on western society

negros are all the same …

    • Tom Iron

Sir, I don’t mean to be a stickler, but the correct spelling is Kneegroe, not as you spelled it.

      • Some Guy

        Knee Grows Steel

  • extortionists

Gonna be hilarious when they try to sue black Daffy Duck for racism..

  • pacific northwest

Are all these idiot cocky mooching lying arrogant blacks trying to get the whole world to hate them all even worse than they do now?

Is there a Disney anywhere in Africa and why not?

  • Typical blacks. One does something, they all have to copy.

  • Bon, From the Land of Babble

ALL the Disneylands need to be closed down!! They are paeans to a bygone Whitopia and have no place in the multicultural NWO. They are also bastions of capitalism and racism and need to be squelched with government force.

Worse, someone may be having fun!!

No fun is allowed in the new order. Everyone knows that, and if they don’t, they soon will..

    Bon

  • Fed Up

Maybe the person in the character costume was allergic to Blacks. But when have Blacks ever passed up any opportunity to extort money from businesses and corporations?

  • Nate Miller

On this issue I take an exception. If what the black family claims happens to be true than I am with that family. Donald duck or any other Disney character are paid employees at the Disney park whose job is to entertain and act friendly towards kids irrespective of race, color, class, gender or creed. In this case Donald should have hugged or entertained the black kid who was waiting in line. Now, if Donald duck wanted to ignore blacks or other coloreds, Disney Inc. should make a policy of “whites only” admission into parks. However, that is not the case, under their own regulations of conduct, Disney characters are not supposed to discriminate. To discriminate in this case is unacceptable, unethical and unprofessional. Period.

  • eavesmac

They should have gone to the ‘hood’ version of Disneyland; Detroit. There they could have been part of the mayhem that they naturally tend towards.

  • Has it been determined what was the race of the “performer” inside the suit?

  • Raytel

I usually don’t agree with this but this does appear to be some form of bigotry.

  • jay11

I wonder what race of people were in those suits in these two incidents. We will never be told though, unless it was two white employees. In that case, their mugs and even their addresses and employee numbers would be all over the news.

  • SmithandSmith

This video has been pulled too.

  • ograf

    Maybe Donald qwacked up ?

  • trollsy

Yeah at least their kids got to go to Disney. At this rate my kid will be 30 before I can afford such a thing.
