Class Offers to ‘Heal’ Teachers Afflicted with Racism

Todd Starnes, Fox News, January 25, 2013

The Milwaukee Teacher’s Education Association is promoting a series of workshops to help heal teacher’s infected with racism.

The “Healing Racism Workshops” provide college credit for educators who enroll in the class.

“We have all been assigned a race by America’s pervasive socialization process,” read a flyer promoting the workshop. “This racial conditioning permeates the fabric of our inter-personal and inter-group relations, taking little account of laws and statutes, and reaching deep into the hearts and minds of individuals.”

But critics of the class said it smacks of blame and victimization.

“Here we go again,” said Kyle Olson, founder of EAG, a non-partisan group that promotes sensible education reform. “Here’s another example of education activists seeking to implement their personal political agenda on others.”

The MTEA did not return calls seeking comment—nor did the group hosting the workshops.

“There’s a strain of thought in education that white people are racist,” Olson told Fox News. “We have educators and their trainers who put huge emphasis on this and they are seeking to dispel this so-called white privilege.”

{snip}

Olson said the state Dept. of Public Instruction puts a “huge emphasis on white privilege.”

“It’s people who have this certain ideology who believe if you are white, you are racist—and if you’re not, you’re not,” he said. “It’s such an obsession for them and a distraction from what schools should really be about.”

Public school teachers discussing public school teaching methodology at a church and the church is involved. ACLU where are you?

  • Here’s a thought: They should offer classes to Mr. Tyreefus, Ms. Shaqwana and Ms. Kyreesha in basic English, math and history.

It’s not racism that afflicts their public school system. It’s that it’s staffed by baby-teachers.

    • MarcusTrajanus

Why? What good does it do to Whites to teach “Mr. Tyreefus, Ms. Shaqwana and Ms. Kyreesha” basic English, math and history (if such a thing were even possible)?

  • David Ashton

These “workshops” have been tried with teachers, police and others in Britain. You cannot believe how childish they are and how easily sabotaged by any well-prepared participant.

    • pcmustgo

I had a horrible experience with a diversity workshop freshman year of college. In fact, that is the single, pivotal incident that drove me to the right (but there’s been dozens more since then that have pushed me further and further). From that point on, I was an ex-liberal. For the first time, I began reading right wing literature.

Full of eye-rolling Angry Black Women acting like racist pigs and calling us racist, some Latino girl who got up and hysterically screamed and cried about white racism, etc, etc. Total nightmare. Other whites who came to be all post-racial in the group equally disgusted by the behavior of (most) of the Blacks.

The (white jewish) lady who ran the group also engaged in some really unethical behavior in terms of the activities involved… having people line up in terms of shades of their skin color. line up in the room based on groups of how much our parent’s earned/income, etc.

All about Blame and Victimization is right.

      • Vonhauer

Its all about what they can get from whites. Only nonwhites benefit from diversity.

        • GM (Australia)

White Privilege, yes they should be reminded how privileged they to be able to live in a white run society and receive all the benefits it has to offer.

        • Katherine McChesney

Actually blacks don’t achieve anything from earning entitlement. In fact it only sets them back light years. It assures them of no success at all.

      • Katherine McChesney

And did you comply with her request for information about your parents income?

        • pcmustgo

Yes… I was young and naive up until my mid-20’s and had no idea how to deal with any of this… certainly conflicted and “deer in the headlights” when it came to reverse racism or just relationships in general.

      • Out of curiosity, which college was this?

      • PesachPatriot

Good post…no one in modern day america should think of themselves as victims (unless they have been victims of crime, I’ll make an exception there) american blacks live like demi-gods compared to their brethren back in africa, haiti or jamaica, hispanics have far higher standards of living here than anywhere south of the border and our own demographic lives far better, safer lives in modern day america than almost any other time period or country we have existed in. Arabs and Indians who run liquor stores in the hoods live better than most of their relatives in their own countries too. The poorest people in america would be considered middle class in many other parts of the world. Just by being born on american soil a person is already ahead of some 6 billion other people on this rock.

When I was in school some of the teachers would treat me with kid gloves because I have an obviously jewish last name. I told them that I was born in America, not some crappy little shtetl in Poland and I didn’t need anyone to feel badly about things they didn’t do that happened before I was born….just treat me with the same respect and rules as the other kids. Teaching victimization and victim mentalities is harmful to people of all colors and creeds.

    • MOE

MANY, MANY teachers did not have a racist bone in their body until they were exposed to these subhuman pieces of trash. To be a racist/race realist is something to be proud of not be treated for

      • David Ashton

They often assume “guilt” in participants at the outset, and then expect them to rack their memories for examples of racist “sins”. It is a bit like the Chinese Communist “confession” system, except that the organizers are weeds in comparison.

One personal experience among several. We are invited to a meeting at the Waltham Forest Teachers’ Center to see what we were doing about “linguistic equality” in the classroom, of course a ridiculous idea since English was obviously the common means of communication among those with numerous mother tongues. The speaker, of course, hadn’t a sensible offering in his head, so with a familiar “liberal” frown he started going round the room asking everyone “What are you doing about linguistic equality in your school?” Naturally, the victims were nonplussed or mumbled some apology. When he got to me (prepared for the inquisition in advance) I explained (lying) at length that my students were mostly from India, and so I tried to show the historic connections between our European languages like English and those of Indo-Aryan origin, etc – (lying again) to make us feel all the same whatever our color or religion, etc. He hadn’t the slightest knowledge of any of this and was completely thrown. It was a pleasure to see the mood lighten among teachers present and apprehension in some cases turn to smiles. Then afterwards we went to the canteen to get a drink, making sure to ask for coffee “without milk” instead of black coffee, an outlawed expression like “blackboard”.

  • There are still too many white people who do not have a clue about the true intention of classes like this one. I say debunk them with statistics about who the real racists are.

  • bigone4u

A bit of a silver lining in that the workshops are not mandatory. I had to endure mandatory workshops when I was part of the educational-race baiting complex. Silly junk it was.

    • StillModerated

I had to suffer race relations class in the US Navy way back in 1973. SSDD.

      • jane johnson

I had no idea that this sort of nonsense was going on that long ago. My dad was a Navy guy, but he was long-retired by ’73. I cannot even imagine him sitting through something like that; he was a true realist in many ways.

The class was run by some REMF lifer First Class who was useless as a Boatswain’s Mate so they gave him a make work job. They showed a movie by that Iowa teacher segregating her class by eye color.

    • Joseph

I knew a guy -who was a pretty funny dry-humor sort, who had to attend one of those mandatory “diversity” workshops. He said that he was not hostile at all but that he simply tried to avoid engaging in the discussion just putting in his attendance time. The “facilitator” leading the time-waster noted his non-participation and said something like “Now we haven’t heard from you -the BALD fellow there.” He responded with something like: “BALD? Isn’t that some kind of lookism? How would you like it if I referred to you as the broad with the big butt?” She was obviously embarrassed for more reasons that one and apologized and conceded that he made a valid point.

He didn’t even care about the bald comment, he said he just can’t take the “we’re all equal” patent nonsense played at these indoctrinations.

  • MekongDelta69

We have all been assigned a race by America’s pervasive socialization process”

You get ‘assigned’ to a class. You get ‘assigned’ an MOS. You get ‘assigned’ to a position on a team, etc., etc.

Nobody gets ‘assigned’ a race. (Teachers’ Unions are so incredibly stupid, they can’t even word their own propaganda correctly.)

The people who have been MOST obsessed by race for 50 years have been the guilt-ridden, self-loathing white leftists who have encouraged and cheer-lead minorities to be white-hating racists.

Wouldn’t it be great if all of us could sign up for that class?!

Anyone in the right mind knows that classes like this are all about indoctrinating good white people into becoming anti-white. I just hope more white people will come to this realization. This whole racism and white privilege nonsense is being done to death and the more people hear about it, the more sick and tired of it most of them will eventually become, unless of course those people are bleeding-heart leftists who buy into these lies without question.

  • So CAL Snowman

““We have all been assigned a race by America’s pervasive socialization process,” read a flyer promoting the workshop.”

Yeah only in America do we subscribe to this thing called “race.” The rest of the world has already moved on and operates in perfect ‘human” harmony. Good God liberals are so stupid you cannot even explain to them how stupid they are.

    • Joseph

It is true that there is a certain level of intelligence one must possess to even realize that one *could* be stupid. These people ain’t there.

    • bluffcreek1967

Liberalism has a cultic tendency to it, and all of its followers are urged to never seriously question its validity. This is why liberals will not fairly and objectively consider the arguments of those on the right – it violates their creed, their dogma. Most are so smug and self-righteous that they don’t even consider the possibility that they might be wrong. Liberals, contrary to popular notions, are NOT open-minded. They will get angry and engage in ad-hominem attacks before ever thinking they could be in error.

Once you get them past their rote rebuttals and talking-points, they have very little of substance to add to the discussion. Doubt my words? Simply go out and begin to intellectually engage them, and you will see that most of them by far have not thought through the logical and social implications of their own liberal policies and ideas. The more devoted and radical they are, the less they will be able to have an intellectual discussion with you that doesn’t end in them becoming angry and threatened by your rejoinders. They are often so difficult to reach with the truth because their level of indoctrination runs so deep. Sometimes, now and then, a light will turn on and, slowly, they will start to leave their liberal plantation, but it’s not that common.

      • Joseph

In my limited experience involving success with these people, it seems to depend on *why* they embrace liberal idealogies. If they are people of normal intelligence but more limited (academic) education and perhaps cleave to liberal/Democrat type themes because of family or peer-group environmental influence they can usually listen to some reasoned factual presentation and accompanying rationale and often come to some agreement. If they are people of normal intellect with perhaps the similar background who have several years of formal academic instruction and especially if holding an advanced degree of some kind, they are pretty much intractably set in their view and no source is likely to sway them.

        • concernedcollegekid

I really agree with this. I think there are two kinds of liberals, True Liberals who are cultishly ideological and will stick to the leftist egalitarian creed no matter what anyone says, and “liberals” who were just raised in environments where everyone was liberal, haven’t had much experience with diversity, and haven’t really thought hard about what they believe. The kind of liberal I just described is the kind of person who doesn’t care what gay people do, isn’t particularly religious, and doesn’t like the idea of active hostility toward anyone based on race and just hasn’t observed for him or herself what the causes of racial tension in this country really are.
If you try to say something to a True Liberal about how IQ is highly heritable or something they will completely flip out or at least act genuinely appalled that you would say something like that. I think True Liberals cannot accept facts contrary to their ideology anymore than, say, the Westboro Baptist Church can. I think True Liberals are literally addicted to their extreme partisanship the way extreme religion can be addictive – they’re essentially cult members. I really believe they get a high off of it.
“Liberals” of the second kind I described are apprehensive about my views on race at first when I describe them, but if they are people who already know and respect me, they want to know more. Eventually they will start saying things to me like “I didn’t know that” and will want to hear more. It helps if they have had at least one bad experience with diversity in the past that they shrugged off. I really think a LOT of people my age are in the second category of “liberal” and could change their views like I did, but the problem seems to be that for some of us, “education” cements us more into the left (as it did to some people I used to know), whereas for others of us, it pushes us away from the left because we cannot help but notice that what we are told to believe often does not line up with the world we see.
One thing I want people on this site who don’t spend much time around young people to understand is that young liberals who are really ideological about it are almost always really insecure people. They usually don’t have a “thing”, so they make far-leftism or “Marxism” their “thing”. It’s like joining a cult, sort of, except it’s reinforced by the universities and stuff so it gets a dangerous amount of extra validation from outside that a cult wouldn’t. But I think most young “liberals” who are comfortable with who they are and don’t live and breathe politics are REALLY tired of political correctness and, I believe, have COMPLETE potential to re-evaluate their views when what they were taught in school about race becomes noticeably less empirically true. And who knows, maybe the young crazy liberals can change for the same reason too.
So, there is real hope for young white “liberals” imo. FAR, FAR more hope than there is for changing the minds of old liberals. And the younger generation is what matters for the future.

    Let the healing begin!

  • purestocles

I was the unfortunate victim of a visit by (girl)friends of my wife over Christmas. One is a teacher (of Women’s Studies) in Community College. After hearing her explain the that the solution to all problems besetting the world involved eradicating White Male Privilege, I put forth the notion that IQ may have some say in determining people’s outcomes in life. And that IQ was partly heritable. And that human populations, separated into genetic pools by geographic boundaries may have evolved different survival strategies which included different IQs.

She was shocked. SHOCKED! Didn’t I know that IQ tests were themselves drafted by White Males expressly to reinforce White Male Privilege? When I protested that they measured cognitive competence in handling abstract symbols such as words, numbers, logic etc. she explained to me that while that may be true, it was only such from a White Person’s World View. Science, Math, Logic are just White People’s way of organizing the World. Other “People of Color” have their own “equally valid” unique way of mentally doing the world.

So I asked her, “Do you mean to say that if Black Scientists do Astrophysics, then the product or outcome will not resemble White Astrophysics? Or that there is a unique Black Biology or Logic or Periodic Table?” She wouldn’t say yes or no.

So while she won’t explicitly say so, she implies that all tests given in our schools are designed to produce a disparity skewed in favor of White students. And further, apparently, every professor (subconsciously?) weeds out those questions that don’t produce the desired results. This is an instance of what constitutes “White Privilege” and this is why White students out perform “people of color”. She said that on tests designed by Black scholars which would measure Black sub-atomic physics, Black students would outperform White students.

And if you don’t believe her and answer her test questions correctly i.e. parroting her world view, she will probably fail you–and thereby DO exactly what she condemns.

I can’t believe that this woman teaches at the college level. It goes without saying that she knows nothing about any technical or scientific subject whatsoever.

    • IstvanIN

White people like the broad you described are more dangerous than any black.

      • She’s what we call a “reverse oreo,” white on the outside and dark on the inside.

        • StillModerated

Fig Newton! White outside – black inside.

    • Tim

The real test isn`t who`s right or wrong. It`s if she never comes to stay again…

      • 1XXX

I think the real test is who gives a crap what that woman thinks or says.

    • I hear they are doing some real dumb things in africa.

    • brengunn

I bet your wife’s just lost two mates, there. She’ll be guilty by association.

She said that on tests designed by Black scholars which would measure
Black sub-atomic physics, Black students would outperform White
      students.

Na, even on juju mathematics whites would come out on top of blacks.

Whites devised the major world sports and in several of them, most notably basketball and American football, come a distant second to blacks. Making the rules does not guarantee victory.

      • 1XXX

I would be willing to bet that if a proportionally equivalent percentage of young white males would practice basketball with the same mindless energy as found in blacks, you would see a much higher representation of whites on the pro teams.

Conversely, if every black in the galaxy tried to learn calculus the results, to put it delicately, would be less than impressive.

    • Joseph

I think that there is some validity to her claims.

Africans for example, are adept at digging up termites, magic, drumming, and building structures from banana leaves.

European whites are better at international scale agriculture, designing spacecraft, building skyscrapers, and public water, waste, and transportation systems.

The IQ tests indeed do not reflect the skillset required of Africans.

      • purestocles

“European whites are better at international scale agriculture, designing spacecraft, building skyscrapers, and public water, waste, and transportation systems.”

Indeed, these and the disciplined mindset that creates them are totally opaque to most blacks and their white, liberal-women enablers. This is the broader point. And being opaque they can only guess at why they don’t enjoy the fruits of our technical civilization. And the liberal enabler is there to offer an explanation–“White Male Privilege”. Blacks eagerly embrace this explanation because it absolves them of any blame for the condition they find themselves in. “Why”, they ask themselves, “does the White man up the street have a nice car in his driveway?” And because he cannot fathom the unbridgeable gap between his illiteracy and the White Engineer’s training and mental discipline, he can only attribute the difference in outcomes to something he can understand and that is prejudice with malice. And so he justifies his hatred towards whitey.

I ask you all, is there anyone, any White person, who will go through life on this Earth and NOT be accosted by a black male? Is there anyone out there who has NOT been approached against his/her will, cornered, badgered or otherwise impeded on his path through life by a black person?

I’d wager the answer is no. We’ve all been impeded by a black male. It’s a fact of life we must learn and adjust to. Odd, isn’t it. They didn’t tell you when you were born that some one representative of a particular group would block your path and feel sadistic glee at your discomfort–because that’s the point really, to enjoy the experience of making you squirm. We all know this to be true. And we all accept it philosophically. We all know, that if we have not already, then eventually our path will be blocked by an aggressive black male who will impose his will on us for as long as it takes to disengage ourselves from his clutches and get clear of his presence. It seems to give meaning to their lives.

        • Katherine McChesney

I’ve had multiple experiences with blacks. When it comes down to it, you’ll find most blacks can’t reason their way out of a paper bag.

As for the person on another article who tried to convince us that paper bags were invented by a black man, I researched it. A white man in France built the first machine to produce a paper bag. Years later a black man invented a machine that folded them a different way. More black revisionism and taking credit for something they didn’t invent. So, you see, there are anti-White’s who come here trying to stir up racial division against us.

        • Daisy

It’s great to read your posts. Pro-whites need to hear more conversion awakening stories. I’ve had far more run-ins with black males than females, yet I’ve experienced enough racially motivated attacks from black women that I’d hardly limit anti-white aggression to just black men. What continues to confound me is how white people who’ve experienced these aggressions process them as anything other than racism. It took a long time for me personally to fully register that. Part of the process was just the overwhelming evidence and aggregation of offenses. There’s complexity to that denial. Some factors may be that some whites simply aren’t being exposed in the way you assume or that they dismiss what’s truly racism as just some form of classism (on the part of black offenders).

      • StillModerated

Africans are also better at tap dancing, street evangelizing, pushing dope, mugging old ladies, loitering outside liquor stores, and of course inventing things that White people have already patented.

      • 1XXX

        Brilliant!!!

      • Caucasoid88

I’m pretty sure whites could dig up termites, do magic, drum, and build banana huts better than blacks.

    • A quicker and easier way to get to her is to ask her if she got her job because of white privilege. If she says yes, tell her that when she gives up her job to a black man or black woman, she can lecture you on white privilege. If she says no, ask her what quantitative qualifications proves that she’s worthy of holding her current job.
When she starts telling you about all her qualifications, ask her if she worked for those qualifications and if she believed that blacks couldn’t earn the same qualifications she earned.

    • falsedawn

Beyond complementing her on her hair, clothing, or some such other little thing, why did you engage in any real conversation with this poor woman?

      • Sloppo

Sometimes those conversations can be enjoyable. Even if you’re as polite as Jared Taylor, it can be a lot like shooting off fireworks. Fireworks are fun, but it’s pretty important not to ignite the fuses while they’re inside your home.

        • purestocles

Alas, the fuse was lit inside a restaurant over dinner, a day later. And, no Tim, I doubt they’ll ever be back. (Good!)

It was when her soulmate explained that, at a convention of fellow administrators whose job it is to recruit 2nd tier Asian students to attend this northwest CC and who pay for this boon at out-of-state tuition rates (which offsets cuts in state revenue due to our shrinking tax base and ballooning costs etc.) she was advised–as a woman of Philippine descent–not to venture off campus during breaks because of the imminent threat of physical violence that she would likely suffer, that I made the mistake of asking, in all innocence, if the campus (of this Major South-Eastern United States University) was located in a bad part of town. More specifically, I asked if the neighborhood was predominantly urban Black.

And she replied that “No, it was affluent White, with nice big homes but with (ohmygod!) Confederate flags.” And I ventured that she needn’t have feared because the rate of White-on-Minority violent crime, murder and such, was quite low, around 4% or so of all violent crime–if memory serves me correctly. But she said that the instructor had explicitly told her and a black couple not to walk the neighborhood. This confused me because she’s not really very dark skinned and I can’t imagine anyone, especially in a University town accustomed to an international presence, looking twice at her. But oh well, she insisted on being the (imagined) Victim and as such announced that I was “not validating her experience” and pushed her way out of the booth and left in a huff with a “i won’t tolerate this kind of treatment and need to get away from HIM.”

Well, this is the first time in my life that something like this has happened to me. I’m not unfamiliar with altercations with men that resulted in rolling in the dirt, but prior to this, I’d successfully navigated the emotional land mines of aggrieved women. After signing the check, I strode into the parking lot (where they were waiting) and told her to Eff Off and that I was sick of their White Male Bashing, that I was/am a White male and that their language in my house was rude and intolerable. Then I walked to a Motel, walked home the next day and found them packed and gone. I told my wife that they were never to set foot in our home again.

If I, a former (until the Trayvon affair) liberal, can adjust the trim of my sails so dramatically then mayhaps a larger change is in the air.

          • Joe Mama

I’m dying to know how the Trayvon affair turned you around ..
I’m not even sure I believe that.. No one can make a complete 360 in such a short time .. But I’m willing to listen..

          • Tim

It was two simple analogies that turned me around instantly on abortion after 40 years. The first asked why we curse Germans for eternity for throwing strangers children into the fire but “celebrate” mothers and their rights who do the same to their very own. The second was saying that abortion and welfare is like those Mars science fiction movies where a team goes to the Red Planet and builds an oxygen factory to come back 50 years later. White abortion and Black welfare have turned this country into theirs after fifty years…

          • Katherine McChesney

In ancient times, black Africans threw their newborn babies into the river. If they stayed afloat this meant they were strong enough to be cared for. If they sank, they weren’t saved as they deemed ‘them inferior’ and ‘too weak to be raised into adults. This is what an angry black woman told me. She was proud of her ‘history’.

          • kjh64

Well, the rate for this is higher for Blacks by far than Whites. Furthermore, look at all the men who when they knock a girl up, run so fast they leave tire tracks. They refuse to stick around and raise and support their own kids, who can starve to death for all they care. The only reason the rate isn’t much higher is that men can’t get pregnant.

          • purestocles

The doctored photos of Trayvon, depiction of Zimmerman as a White “stalker” engaging in “all too typical” behavior of whites committing violence against blacks as told by Jackson et al. Then I stumbled on an article that referenced the Dept of Justice and Crime Victimization Survey (Australian press no less) and being numerate, found the evidence startling and convincing. Then found The Color of Crime and so on and so forth. Must admit that I had been a victim of a home invasion/armed robbery in N.O. thirty odd years ago and though I grew up going to integrated schools, and had only seen Big Black Females fight on the school yard after school, had not entertained ill feelings towards blacks until I saw Detroit blacks gang up on the lone white guy in a playground basketball game in Ann Arbor.

But the way the press bent over backwards to twist the facts of the Trayvon case dis-illusioned me, or rather, stripped me of my illusions. I hope I don’t do a 360, a 180 will do.

          • Daisy

I started turning when Imus got so hypocritically tarred and feathered for using a word I’d only heard blacks use, especially when Imus at times said far meaner things about far more vulnerable demographics. Then, compare that to the things blacks (and liberals in general) were saying about whites, and the threshold had been crossed. That happened shortly after I’d been initiated into the anti-white hatefest that is NYC academia and film. That began the conversion, and while it didn’t happen overnight its rate rapidly accelerated. But so was the reality that the democrats hated whites crystallizing in the public arena at a swift pace.

          • Joe Mama

Yes, 180 lol .. I find I say that a lot, for some stupid reason .. Well, glad to have you aboard .. Thanks for they reply …

She might not listen to reason, but others listening to the conversation might. Purestocles did an excellent job of exposing the absurdity of the “anti-racist” position with his calm, logical and factual arguments, while the “anti-racist” was forced to become more and more illogical, irrational and hostile.

        • falsedawn

Not if the audience are women. Not all, but many women hate logic with the white hot heat of ten thousand burning suns.

      She doesn’t. She indoctrinates.

    • SFLBIB

Re: “…she knows nothing about any technical or scientific subject whatsoever.”

That’s because college degree requirements are skewed in favor of the liberal arts and social studies majors.

      From the UCLA course catalog:

Henry Samuelson School of Engineering and Applied Science (HSSEAS) general education (GE) requirements must be selected from the GE list as follows:

      * Six courses from the humanities and social sciences (eight courses for Computer Science majors), with at least two courses from each category

      * One life sciences course (two courses for Computer Science majors; this requirement is automatically satisfied for Chemical Engineering majors)

For item 1, at least three courses must be in the same academic department or must otherwise reflect coherence in subject matter. Of the three, at least two must be upper division courses selected from the approved HSSEAS GE course list.

One language course at level four or above may be applied toward the humanities section of the HSSEAS GE requirements.

Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electrical Engineering majors are also required to satisfy the ethics and professionalism requirement by completing one course from Engineering 95 or 194 or 195, which may be applied toward either the humanities or social sciences section of the GE requirements.

      Meanwhile, over at the …

SCHOOL OF THE ARTS AND ARCHITECTURE [*Note]

Computing/Mathematics/Statistics Requirement (Note: There is no physics requirement)

(School of the Arts and Architecture) Students must complete ONE COURSE in mathematics or statistics or an introductory course in computers selected from Anthropology M80, Computer Science 1, 2, Geography M40, Mathematics 1, 2, 3A, 3B, 3C, 31A, 31B, Political Science 6, Program in Computing 1, 10A, 10B, 10C, Sociology M18, Statistics 10, 11, M12, 13. [Judging from the course descriptions, these appear to be high school level.]

A SAT I mathematics score of 600 or better or a SAT II Subject Test in Mathematics score of 550 or better also meets this requirement. [**Note]

Requiring only one upper division course in math or physics would wipe out both schools of liberal arts and social studies, and your wife’s friend along with them.

Suffice it to say that studying any subject that is useful is “of trade” and therefore not getting a “real” education.

Notes: *This can’t be the “architecture” I am thinking of which requires a lot of advanced math, physics, engineering, and strength of materials.

**There doesn’t seem to be a similar English SAT score for Engineering/Science majors that meets their requirement.

I am a 57 year old White woman who attended a company sponsored diversity workshop in 2010. A fortysomething Black woman and a White male who looked to be in his early fifties headed the workshop. I will admit that the experience was a pleasant one. It was nowhere near as hostile or as victim oriented as I thought it would be. Everyone I talked with afterwards were both relieved and satisfied with the experience.

    • Ralph

Of course it was made to be “pleasant.” It was a conditioning exercise to wean those in the room away from their inner Whiteness.

  • SintiriNikos

So is the racism sick, that it needs healing? They mean to heal racist people, you can’t heal a disease, which racism purportedly is to these people. Anyway, language ignorance is the least of these dummies’ deficiencies.

NY was pushing this crap on state employees back in the late 80’s and early 90’s. It was mandatory training and it was taught by a minority from the Office of Affirmative Action, now known as the Office of Diversity Management. I challenged everything they said. I was pulled to the side during a break and was told if I want to keep my job then I better just shut my mouth and listen.

    • Tim

That`s the real lesson they were teaching…. to shut up and take it without complaint. I know cause I went thru it too in College.

      • Ed_NY

Exactly, if you challenge this propoganda or speak the truth you are penalized with job loss or worse. The P.C. police are real.

    • Katherine McChesney

Whew! I’m glad I escaped this garbage. I was schooled in the 50’s and 60’s. We were quite happy without diversity. While we attended school in an old building, studied and made decent grades, blacks were destroying their brand new school. That was my first clue that they were different than we were. We respected our society, while they impoverished theirs.

      • Ed_NY

Kathy, I was educated in the 60’s and 70’s. I went from my all white school and was thrown into a majority black school at 11 years old because of forced busing. I knew nothing of violence, teen and preteen pregnancy, drug abuse, cigarette smoking or out right contempt for teachers. I got a quick education in those subjects and an education on black culture. I had enough of blacks. In those 40+ years since and lots of White taxpayer money, nothing has improved.

  • Ralph

Race is not a social construct, it is a biological reality and a better term for race is subspecies.

We Whites are our own subspecies. A subspecies is a group of like individuals on the path to specieshood, so long as there is no gene flow from other subspecies or the main species from which the subspecies evolved.

White haters don’t want Whites to evolve separately anymore. They want to blend us back into the dark masses. That is genocide. Miscegenation is evil and is genocide. Spit whenever you see a White with a non-White.

    • MarcusTrajanus

I don’t spit in public, it’s a disgusting habit. There are other ways of showing disaproval.

      • You’re right, it is disgusting, and since you want to display your disgust, it is a very appropriate reaction

  • JohnEngelman

The best way to cure racism is to somehow induce blacks to stop behaving in ways that reinforce it.

    • bluffcreek1967

That’s a good point John – but, as you know, it’s one that blacks and the ‘diversity’ crowd would never seriously consider. Blacks fail to realize that their hatred of the white man and their criminal propensities (and everything else distinctive of them) have rightfully earned them the level of suspicion, disgust and opposition that so many whites have toward them. None of this occurred in a vacuum. It has been the result of whites judging blacks – NOT based on the color of their skin – but on the content of their character just as that old Communist, MLK, wanted us to. Funny though, I don’t think MLK realized that when he uttered those words, it would actually lead to greater racial suspicion and condemnation of blacks because, after all, ‘character’ is something blacks don’t possess in large numbers!

By the way, I don’t think there’s any way that we could induce blacks to stop behaving the way they do. Everything’s been tried by DWLs, and it never works. We need to stop all this nonsense and waste of our time and money in trying to turn blacks into civilized, deeply intelligent and moral people.

      • JohnEngelman

        blufcreek1967,

Some blacks are, “civilized, deeply intelligent and moral people.” I have known and do know several. They and we will benefit by putting the ghetto thugs into prison and keeping them there until they are too old for crime.

        • bluffcreek1967

Yes, I’m aware that there are some blacks who don’t fit the lack of civility, intelligence and morality model that I had mentioned in my post. I was speaking in general terms, and not talking about every single one of them. I think men such as Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Larry Elder and others are quite decent and respectable persons. The problem is that for every one that can be poined to as a decent and civilized black man or black woman, there’s an even greater number of them that demonstrates, on average, the complete opposite. Once again, all such efforts in civilizing them (as a whole) has not been particularly successful.

          • JohnEngelman

I have known decent, intelligent blacks who were liberals.

          • bluffcreek1967

Yes, John, we’ve already established that there are some decent, intelligent blacks out there – and yes, even some liberal ones I’m sure.

          • Katherine McChesney

John has also established the fact that he is a phoney.

          • bluffcreek1967

Come to think of it, while there are some civilized black liberals, they still tend to retain their anti-white attitudes – more so, from my experience, than blacks who are conservatives. In general, when blacks become conservative in outlook, they tend to drop their radical anti-white mentality and start seeing things from the perspective of taking individual responsibility as opposed to blaming so much of their problems on the white man. Sure, there are exceptions, but conservatism helps to form a different perspective whereas liberalism helps to form attitudes of resentment toward whites and dependency on the State. It is part and parcel to liberalism, and that’s why blacks who embrace it remain hostile to the white man – although some of them are smart enough to not be as transparent about it.

          • JohnEngelman

I never noticed “anti-white attitudes” in my black liberal friends, my Oriental friends, or my Hispanic friends. Whites who sense anti white attitudes in non whites are probably projecting their hostility onto the non whites.

          • David Ashton

I hate to say this but you are only individual among millions and your continual autobiographical expressions of personal opinion, and experiences with your Black, Chinese, Vietnamese, Mexican, Jewish and other “liberal friends” do not seem as important to others, nor as universally valid, as they do to you.

          • JohnEngelman

Everyone is shaped by personal experiences. I think I make more of an effort than others here to document my factual assertions with credible sources, including credible sources that I discovered on this website.

It is not only true that I have had good experiences with Orientals and Jews, but that they have higher average IQs than white gentiles. In addition, Orientals have lower rates of crime and illegitimacy than white Gentiles. This is probably true for Jews also, but I have not found documentation on the subject.

I am sure others have had bad experiences with Orientals and Jews. Nevertheless, I suspect that most white Gentiles who dislike them are motivated by xenophobia and resentment over the fact that they tend to be more capable and prosperous than the white Gentiles who dislike them.

I do not maintain here that all blacks and Hispanics are decent and intelligent. I do say that I have known individuals who are. The most fascinating friend I ever had was a black college professor who taught freshman English at Howard University.

Because there are so many blacks and Hispanics who are worthy individuals I am glad that the civil rights legislation was passed, and that there is very little support for repealing it.

          • Katherine McChesney

I think John is full of bull. He is clearly a disengenous white liberal. He’s insincere about his race and tries to disavow his whiteness by pandering to other faces. He’s a phoney.

          • Katherine McChesney

That is a sign of your anti-White racism, John Engleman. The news is full of anti-white bigotry, rape and murder against whites.

          • bluffcreek1967

Well, I have and it’s not because I am “projecting” my hostility onto non-whites. I have been around long enough and worked close enough with blacks at my workplace to see the very things I’ve referred to.

          • 1XXX

Is that the same thing as projecting ignorance….in this instance…yours?

          • Katherine McChesney

Liberals are far from intelligent. If they were they wouldn’t vote for a man who wants to destroy their economy or threaten their well-being with laws that create a hostile environment.

          • JohnEngelman

Why would President Obama want to destroy the economy? He knows that if the economy improves he will have much more power.

          • 1XXX

If he knows this then why is he destroying the economy?

          • JohnEngelman

The President faces difficult problems that lack easy or obvious solutions. Nevertheless, The stock market is as high as it has been in five years. The job market is growing.

At the beginning of President Obama’s first term Rush Limbaugh said, “I hope he fails.” What he meant was, “I hope the economy fails.”

          • 1XXX

Yes indeed, there are challenges….and who cares what Limbaugh says or means? What is your point re: Limbaugh? Neither of those things justify the path we have taken, not only in these past four years but in the years prior.

Where are these jobs of which you speak?
Do you understand how the stock market works?

          • Jefferson

The same “decent intelligent Black liberals” that run cities like Atlanta, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Birmingham, and Detroit.

Yeah they are so great, aren’t they ?

    • PesachPatriot

This is a good point. When I grew up in a cold, northern rural area I basically believed that everyone is basically the same, but with different color skin. A job in the pompano beach ghetto opened my eyes to the fact that some things are more than skin deep.

Because most of the blacks have no interest in history, they don’t realize that most whites in florida are former northerners and descendants of 20th century immigrants. They think all of us took off gray uniforms and put away slave shackles and whips last week. They also can’t tell the difference between saltines and matzah, we’re all just crackers to them. Most whites and others in this country who are fed up with black misbehavior aren’t angry over a skin color. No one can pick what color they are born, but people have a choice as to how they behave. Very few people have a problem with Frederick Douglass, Louis Armstrong, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley or Bill Cosby. People have a problem with pants sagging, gold toothed thuggery, crack sales, dog fighting, destroying neighborhoods, loud rap music at 2am, abuse of the welfare system and home invasions. My policy in life is to be polite and pleasant with everyone I encounter in the course of a day regardless of skin color, but I’m not naive enough to go strolling down MLK boulevard in Miami after dark.

  • racism and reverse racism

This is the pc age of equality so there is racism and reverse racism. Both are equal since after Jefferson said all races are created equal and dropped the Creator name in the process but oddly left not a single footnote to prove his lies and never tried to alter or change it while living another 30 years even becoming president for 8 years and same for Madison.

    • Ed_NY

I respectfully disagree. Racism or discrimination are just that, racism and discrimination! “Reverse racism” or “reverse discrimination” presupposes that Whites practice racism or discrimination to the exclusion of other races. I know the official party line is that blacks dont have the ability to discriminate and blacks are not capable of racism but believe me, from practical experience, blacks are masters of discrimination and racism

      • Blacks are masters of nothing more than making more n*i66ers.

This is ironic because the whole thesis is based on blaming whites for victimizing minorities.
